I am so so so so so so so sorry for the wait. I have been a very bad author and I would like to apologize to you all. I was over-whelmed with school and sports, and other things. I may have not have even continued with this story if my amazing fans didn't urge me to continue. This year might be even more hectic for me because I am starting high school, but I will try to finish this story before school starts. Anyways thanks to everyone who stayed with me and encouraged me to continue. I hope this chapter is good and I promise I will update more frequently. I don't own Rookie Blue, but in an alternate universe (according to the infinite universe theory) I do!

Chapter 11
Trapped

"Drip Drip Drip,"

Andy silently groaned at the repetitive noise. There was a leak in the roof of the building and now she was stuck listening to the horrible sound. It had been about half an hour since Richard Morris had locked the door on them and no one had yet to rescue them. She sat on ancient cargo box that seemed like it would give out at any second. Still that was better than her other options, which were the ground and next to Jackie.

She covertly glanced at Jackie who was shooting daggers at her. She quickly averted her gaze back to the wall. What was Jackie's deal? She had done nothing to deserve all the crap Jackie had been giving her, but yet it was still given. It was unbearable. It was annoying. It wa-

"Drip Drip Drip,"

"Dammit!" Both she and Jackie exclaimed at the same time.

They quickly glanced at each other before going back to their silent waiting. Andy sighed, she better be rescued soon because if she had to deal with Jackie's silence for any longer she would explode. She slowly reached down to her belt and grabbed her radio,

"2703 reporting from Mills Warehouse on Simmon Avenue, we are currently trapped inside the warehouse and our perp has been identified to be Richard Morris, we need assistance,"

She silently paused for a minute hoping for an answer, but all that came through was static. They had tried to reach the operators, but their efforts were to no use. The warehouse was in an area of the city that didn't have a ton of cell towers and they couldn't contact anyone with their radios. That didn't stop Andy from trying, though. She was about to try again, but before she could barely open her mouth Jackie exclaimed,

"It"s no use McNally! They can't hear us, they aren't getting your signals!,"

Andy glared at her before responding.

"You don't know that, they might be able to hear us fine, maybe we just can't hear them,"

Jackie rolled her eyes and sneered.

"They can't hear us Andy, stop acting like a child and accept that!"

"Why do you have to be such a bitch?" Andy blurted out.

"Excuse me" Jackie said with ice in her voice.

"I said 'Why do you have to be such a bitch?'. Seriously, why? I have done my hardest to be nice to you and you treat me like dirt. You act like I am the worse thing that has ever happened to you. Is it because I replaced your boyfriend because, sweetie, guess what? He was the one the one that left in the first place. I have done nothing to you at all that deserves this kind of hatred so why? Why are you treating me like this?"

Jackie stared at her furiously.

"I'm the bitch? You come here so entitled and stuck-up like a freakin' princess and you act like you are so uppity and high and mighty. I don't trust that act. Not at all. You think you're so perfect just because you're from 15. Well you're not. so don't act like it,"

Andy stared at her in shock. She thought that Andy was uppity? That she was stuck-up? What?

"I don't know why the hell you think I believe I am perfect. My life's a mess. My supposed friends won't talk to me and I don't know why. The guy I love, or loved, is dating another woman because I couldn't hold onto him, and to top it all off the woman he is dating is a complete and utter manipulative bitch. I didn't do this program because I thought I want to further my career. I did it to get away from that. I am dreading having to go back and face a place where almost no one is my friend and I have to see that bitch every day. I just can't deal with that now. I just can't. So I definately can't deal with someone accusing me of being a "princess," so just stop!"

Andy paused a second in her tirade to take a breath. She was quickly overcome by a feeling of shock. Did she just say all of that? All of her secret feelings and problems to Jackie?

She sighed and closed her eyes embarrassed. She just wanted to go back to her and Connor's apartment, curl up on the couch, and watch tv. She sat there moping in her own sadness, just hoping, no praying that help would come soon.

Hazel's POV

Hazel took a huge bite out of her meatball sub and grinned. She loved Roudini's. When she was a little girl her grandfather alway's took her here when she was having a bad day. She had introduced this place to Jen when she was just a rookie and it was love at first bite for her. Now whenever they rode together Jen and her would come here and eat. It was something of a tradition for the two.

"We have a report of an abandoned cop car on Simmon's Avenue. It is believed to be the car Officers McNally and Black were riding in today. A witness reported it to have been there for about 45 minutes unattended. Proceed with caution," said the operator

Hazel and Jen looked at each other before Hazel grabbed the radio.

"2708 responding,"

"I hope they're okay," she said to Jen

Jen was silent for a minute as she began driving out of the parking lot.

"Twenty bucks says Jackie killed McNally," she said finally

Hazel gave her a sideways glance before muttering,

"You're on."

Andy's POV

She sat in silence as she stared at the wall.

"Drip Drip Drip"

The once annoying dripping had become the only thing in the room that Andy could bear to hear at this moment. After her outburst Jackie had fortunately stayed quiet, leaving Andy to her thoughts.

How had her life gotten here? Just two years ago she had everything and now she had nothing. She knew shouldn't let herself be absorbed by all this self-loathing, but at this moment with nothing else to do she couldn't help it. She missed Traci. Her friend would have been the perfect person to talk to now, but it was too late now. She probably wouldn't talk to Andy again and Andy had no idea why.

Andy was more than prepared to go on with her pathetic pit party, but a cough from Jackie broke her out of her catatonic-like state. She looked over at Jackie to find her staring at her. She waited a few seconds expecting Jackie to say something, but she never did. Andy was about to look away when she finally spoke,

"I wasn't always like this you know; I used to be bright and bubbly. I used to be like you, but then my mom died. She was the only family I really had. My father was a deadbeat and he left when I was two years old. My mom was in the foster system her whole life, so she never really had any family either. We were everything to each other. She was the most amazing mom. She was able to give me an amazing childhood all by herself, but when I was a teenager I didn't appreciate her like I should've. She died three weeks after I graduated. Some thug shot her for the money in her wallet. After that I was all alone. No one was there for me and I got reckless and stupid. I went home with just about anyone and drank every day. Finally one night Caedan found me. He was still a street cop then. He was driving solo on a night shift and found me drunk and crying on the curb. He took me to a diner, fed me and let me talk to him. When he found out about my drinking he convinced me to seek help. I did. After I was completely sobered up I applied for the police academy. I am seven years sober next Tuesday,"

Andy gaped at Jackie, astonished.

"Why are you telling me this," she asked

"Because, I want you to know that I have been where you are right now and if you ever need someone to talk to don't hesitate to ask me," Jackie responded quietly.

Andy was silent for a minute, pondering over the information she had just received.

"Thank you, Jackie," was all she said.

"BANG BANG BANG"

Both the girls jumped as the hear the loud metallic booming coming from the silently scurried around some boxes and drew their weapons, preparing for the worst.

They listed to the sound of the mechanisms in the door slowly unlocking and as the door drew open they both tensed up.

After several agonizing seconds a familiar voice slowly rang through the room,

"Jackie? Andy? You here?" Both the girls slowly poked their heads up and were relieved to find Hazel standing in the doorway.

They both sighed with relief and quickly holstered their weapons. Upon seeing them Hazel smiled and looked out into the hall,

"Jen, I found them!" she yelled.

Andy quickly went up to her and wrapped her tiny frame up into a big hug.

"Thanks. I thought we'd be in here forever," she whispered in Hazel's ear, the fright of the experience finally beginning to show in her voice.

Hazel smiled at her and gave Jackie a quick greeting before turning to where Jen was standing.

Jen took in the scene of the room and the expressions on Jackie and Andy's faces before saying,

"Okay so what happened?"
