I'm not going to say sorry because I don't have a reason for it to be this late... but it is so I'm sorry(Oh wait I just said sorry ooppps;) ) So here you go... Hope you like it.

Lucy sat in her room she had an hour to make her decision and she couldn't think. All that was going through her head was her conversation with Caspian last night.

"Isn't that obvious, Lucy?" Caspian asked looking into her eyes.

Lucy shook her and head and sighed. "Isn't what obvious, Caspian... I don't understand..."

"Lucy... I love you..." Caspian said looking at the floor.

'Well that wasn't at ALL what I was expecting to hear, well not from CASPIAN!' "Caspian I..." Lucy was speechless. 'What do I say? What does one say when they say they love you?' Lucy mused...

"Lucy? Ah Lucy there you are!" Eustace said as he exited the house.

"Eustace!" Lucy said clearly shocked. She looked between Caspian and Eustace.

"It's quite alright, Eustace I've said all I have to say. Now I bid you good night." Caspian said and walked inside.

"Caspian!" Lucy called after him he didn't look back only called.

"I'll see you in the morning, Lucy." Lucy shook her head hopelessly. She felt like screaming.

Everyone hadn't come to see if she was okay, Caspian registered she needed time to herself and Eustace was pacing around the upstairs hall way, she could hear him. Lucy walked to her door and taking a deep breath she exited her room. When she got out Eustace instantly looked at her with knowing eyes. 'Why is he doing that? I don't even know yet!' Lucy shook her head and sighed. She was doing a lot of that recently. She knew her decision was written in stone she knew she was going back. Caspian walked up onto the hall and he looked at her with pleading eyes.

"Let's go..." She said looking between the two of them. They both nodded and let her lead the way.

Lucy looked at the tree that once offered her an escape and it caused her to chuckle a little as it was offering her just that.

"How long do we have, Caspian?" She asked looking her right.

"Not long, could you please tell us what you have chosen?" Caspian asked and Lucy nodded.

"Eustace... you know I love you, right?" Lucy asked and walked over to him. "Oh! Please don't cry!" She said suddenly and caused Caspian to look over and he then saw Eustace tears in his eyes. 'He's losing his best-friend.' Caspian reminded himself.

"I have to do what's right for me Eustace... Please understand that..." Lucy said also crying now.

"Lucy." She heard behind her and turned to face Aslan. She smiled sadly at the sight of him and ran to him. She was engulfed by his golden mane as she hugged him. For a short while she forgot everything was wrong and she was just happy to be reunited with an old friend.

"I just need to say good bye..." She said as she stood up wiping away her tears and Aslan nodded.

She walked to Eustace and hugged him. He held her tightly not wanting to let go, and in truth Lucy didn't want to let go either. Caspian and Aslan knew that no words had to exchange between the two in front them. Lucy let go of Eustace and nodded and he nodded back. "This isn't the last time I'll see you Eustace. I'll see you again. Never lose hope, I haven't and I never will. Hope will bring you home. Wherever that is." She smiled and walked over to where Caspian and Aslan stood. She took hold of Caspian's hand without even thinking and Caspian looked at her confused but pleased and smiled up at him.

She looked back one last time at her beloved cousin and smiled with tears threatening to fall once again. "Let's go home." She said to Caspian and Aslan.

Suddenly a bright light appeared which then formed a door. Aslan walked into it first then Caspian and Lucy. Eustace just stared at the place the door had been and smiled sadly, he was happy for Lucy. He was very happy she had found Caspian again, but then tread formed in his mind. "Oh no! What am I going to say to the cousins?" He said and sighed and began the short walk home but it seemed to take forever without Lucy beside him.

"Caspian... Where are we?" Lucy asked as they had appeared in a dark around.

"Lucy! I'm shocked! Don't you recognise the Dawn Treader?" Caspian said a little amused that she didn't recognise the ship.

"We're not?" She gasped and ran out on the deck. She stared over the water and gazed at the Narnian sky.

"Welcome Home." He said putting his arm around her shoulders. She smiled and hid her face in his neck hugging him.

All of a sudden they saw lit torches headed toward them. "Stowaways!" Lord Drinian called out to them.

"Calm yourself Captain! It's King Caspian!" He yelled raised his hand.

"King Caspian!" He asked in shock. "What in Narnia are you wearing..?" Caspian looked at his clothes.

"Englandian Clothes." He said and it caused Lucy to giggle and bring herself attention.

"It's English Caspian, not Englandian." She said with a smile on her face.

This caused Drinian to look twice. "Queen... Lucy?" She looked at Drinian and smiled.

"How nice to see you again Captain." She said with a nod.

"How long was I gone?" Caspian asked.

"A week your majesty, we should be arriving at Cair any time now in fact." Drinian said and caused Lucy to look over at the lights of fires burning in the castle.

"Oh yes! Look Caspian! You can see the lights." Lucy said excited.

"Well I do believe you're right, Lu."

Lucy smiled up and him and realised they didn't finish the conversation from last night. "Caspian I need a word." She said with pleading eyes.

"Of course, Lu." He led them to his cabin, "what is it, Lu?"

"I just wanted to say that... I was shocked last night when you said... that. But I just wanted you to know that... I-I." She sighed looking down to the floor. 'Why is this so hard? It's Caspian! For God sake, Lucy!' Just as Caspian was about to say something to Lucy, she cut him off and said. "I love you too."

Caspian was silenced and what he was about to say was forgotten. "Lucy..."

Lucy looked up with a smile and stepped forward. "Yes?" She said pleading him to say something... but instead he leant down to press his lips to hers; she sighed and put her arms around his neck.

They separated when they heard Drinian announce that they had arrived and were to return to land. "Caspian..." Lucy said looking at him.

"Yes, Lu?"

"You're clothes... they're quite used to seeing me in unusual clothes given the circumstances... not their King..." Lucy said looking at his attire.

"Of course," he said as if she had pointed out something obvious. "Do you want some clothes?"

She looked at the English skirt and shirt she was wearing... "I'll be home once we get back to the castle." She said with a grateful smile. "I'll wait outside while you get changed." She said and she slipped out the door.

"So you stole our King away?" She heard an amused voice behind her. She looked and saw Drinian approach her.

"I think you'll find Aslan stole him, I was just the idea that got him to go... So yes I suppose I did, yes."

"Well, welcome home."

"Thank you Drinian." She said as Caspian rejoined them. "Well I'll see you at the castle, good night Captain." She took Caspian's arm. "Well you do look so much more like the Caspian I know."

Caspian nudged her with his shoulder and she laughed.

They got back to the castle and Lucy gasped. "I love it! Look what you've done to it. I hope Aslan is proud with it."

"Yes I do believe he is. Come I have something to show you." Caspian led Lucy to one of the higher chambers. "No! You didn't?" She gasped (again) as they entered one of the chambers and she saw all four of the Pevensie siblings on the wall. "Oh Caspian! It's perfect!" She said hugging him.

"I'm glad you like it." He said with a pleased smile.

"Yes... I really do." She said and realised something. "How come it's night in Narnia?"

"It's been I week since I left I'm not quite sure what they would've said if I hadn't returned..."

"But you did... don't worry about if's what's and maybe's. The past is the past think only of the future." She said with a smile and went to leave the room.

"Seriously when did you get so wise?" He asked with a chuckle and quickly kissed Lucy and then left the chamber with her.
