Okay, guys I am actually so sad to see this story go but I hope you enjoy the final chapter of this story. I can't believe I am actually finishing it! I think we had a good run and now it is time to see it finished and completed don't you? I don't want to it to overrun its course and for people to get bored of it. Plus I honestly don't think I can carry this one. Enjoy the final chapter.
Lucy and Caspian didn't know what was happening, they were being tossed all other the ship. "Caspian! We have to get inside!" Lucy called and Caspian agreed, he told this men to go inside and they had to wait out the storm. "This could take all night..."
"I regret to say, you could be right on that one." Caspian said and Lucy smiled.
"Where's the crew?" She asked.
"In the cabin downstairs, I said for them to get out of the storm as soon as possible." He said and sat on his bed. "We could get hurt standing, sit Lucy."
"I see your logic." She smiled and sat down, she didn't really want to be tossed around the room. "what happens if it doesn't let up?" She asked and he shrugged sitting up.
"I don't know, Lu. I really don't." He answered honestly. "I hope it clears soon we're only a day from home." Lucy sighed excited.
"It will be good to finally get home, won't it?" She asked and he nodded.
"It will. This trip has been very long. I just miss home."
"Yes, three months is a long time to be away." She agreed.
By the morning the sun had come out and they were able to see out. Nothing else exciting really had happened on the trip home, and they were really excited to be getting back. Within five days a man called. "Land Ho!" and they were all excited to see land.
"Caspian, home." Lucy said pointing to the island.
"Yes, Lu. Home." He put his hand around her waist and looked out to the sea. "It's good to be home."
"Indeed."
OOO
"I have an announcement." Caspian said to the crowd at the ball to celebrate their return. "High Queen Lucy has returned to Narnia!" Cheers broke out in the hall. "And she intends to stay!"
Even more cheers and applaud ran through the large room. "Should we tell them were courting?"
"I think we should, Lu." He put an arm around her waist and everyone stilled.
"I also have another announcement. Queen Lucy and I are courting!" The people in the room were stilled no more they were cheering and applauding so much.
"I think it's safe to say they approve." Lucy said quietly.
"I agree." He said and kissed her softly. "I love you."
"I love you, too." She said and went on her tip toes and kissed him again.
Three years later;
Caspian and Lucy were married within a year of returning to Narnia, they were both very happy. Then came along their first child, to whom they were looking for now. "Caspian, have you seen her?" Lucy asked and Caspian shook his head. "For a year old, she can get away fast."
"Are you looking for this?" Lucy knew that voice... she knew it well.
"Eustace!" She said shocked and ran over to see him carrying her baby daughter. "Oh, thank heavens; you found her. How did you know she was ours?"
"Look at her, she's the spitting image of you two." They smiled and Lucy picked her up.
"What are you doing here? Is it just you or are the others here too?" Caspian asked shaking his hand.
"Just me, I got offered the same choice Lucy did, only I didn't need three days, I think it was three hours and I was here."
"Oh Eustace!" She said happily and hugged him. "Thank you for finding Delilah. She is always getting out."
"She's so cute, how old is she?" Eustace asked.
"A year old." Caspian said, and picked her up out of Lucy's arms. "She's our little bundle of joy."
"Of course, we have another one on the way... So are you not going home?" She asked and Eustace shook his head. "Oh I wanted you to tell Edmund and the rest about her."
"Tell me yourself, Lu." They all look to Edmund who is standing in the room. "I asked if I could come too, Aslan had no problem with it."
"Edmund... Edmund!" She ran over and hugged him. "I can't believe you're here! I'm so happy to see you!"
"I'm happy to see you too Lucy." He said and hugged her again.
"How's Susan and Peter?" She asked and picked up Delilah as Caspian had put her on the floor. "This is Delilah, she's you niece."
"They're fine, and oh she's gorgeous... She's the perfect combination of you two. I'm so happy for you, both of you." Edmund said held Delilah, she looked up at him with wonder in her eyes, then she looked to Lucy and held out her hands.
"Mama." She ordered and Lucy smiled picking her up. The girl sighed contended. "Mama."
Nine months later;
"Mama?" Lucy looked down to her almost look year old. "Where's dada?"
"He's out with Uncle Ed." She explained and she sighed. Then her head flung up to the door when a baby cry wailed. She stood and walked over to there.
"Ja!" She shouted pointing to the door.
"Ck, Jack. Almost there sweetie, just got to get that Ck at the end." Lucy said going to attend to the three month old.
"Jack! Jack! Jack!" Lucy smiled and nodded to her.
"Yes, Jack. You have it: Jack." She said with a massive smile.
"Jack!"
"Oh dear, now you're never going to stop saying it."
"No, no 'm not."
"Wipe your hands with this please?" Lucy asked.
"No. No. No." The girl squealed delighted.
"And who taught you the word no?"
"Guilty." Caspian said walking in and Lucy rolled her eyes, "she did something wrong and I said no."
"That's just good parenting, although I wanted to keep her from learning it for as long as possible, but if she did something wrong then fair enough." Lucy said with a loving smile to him and then to Delilah. "She said Jack today."
"Now that's my girl!" He said picking up Delilah causing her to squeal. "I love you, Delilah."
"I love you dada!" Lucy smiled at her family then went back to attending to Jack.
"Hey there, baby." She said lifting the now once again sleeping three month old. "He's asleep again, but he was just crying..." She said a little confused.
"Jack!" She said pointing to the baby in her mums arms.
"Yes, sweetie. It's Jack." Caspian sighed lovingly.
A further ten years later;
"Mother?" Delilah asked entering the room. "Are you in here?" Her voice was so soft, it sounded no louder than a whisper. She had a tiara sat upon her head and was wearing a knee length red dress.
"Delilah? Hello, dear your mother's not here." Edmund said. She looked to him confused.
"What are you doing in here, uncle?" She asked taking a step forward. "Have you seen Jack, or Father too?"
"No, sorry. Happy birthday, Delilah." She smiled and left the room. He was thankful she didn't ask what he was doing again, that could've been awkward. He was getting her present from her mother and father for the surprise ball.
She sighed and went to her room, and sat down on her bed. "Where are they?"
"Dee?" A girl entered the room whom looked to be her age and had fierce red hair. "Are you okay? I saw your mum in the grand hall, by the way."
"Really? Thanks Mills!" She ran down there and found her mum. "Mother, where have you been all day?!"
"Sorry, we've been busy." She said regrettably. A young girl crawled into the room and squealed when she saw Delilah. She went to pick up the toddler.
"Rose," she smiled lovingly.
"Dee!" She squealed. "Mama." Her hands went out to her mum.
"She wants you, mother." She handed Lucy Rose and she went to leave.
"Delilah, be here for six thirty." She asked. "Dress nicely."
"Okay, mother." She said knowing what was happening, she couldn't help but smile.
"Dance with me?!" Jack asked running up to his sister. "Come on, it will be fun." She sighed and nodded taking her ten year old brothers hand. They danced to imaginary music and she began humming.
"Sing for me?" He asked and she shook her head.
"You know I don't sing, Jack." She sighed and their other sister ran into the room.
"Did you say you were going to sing!?" Carmen asked and she shook her head.
"No, I don't sing..." She said.
"You used to." Caspian said entering to room. He hugged his daughter. "Happy birthday."
"Thank you, father."
The ball was beautiful it went on till late at night and she danced with everyone in her family, even Rose. She held her little sister in her arms and swayed to the music. Rose fell asleep after that. Then Delilah danced with her dad. "Thank you for a lovely night, Dad."
"You're welcome, I'm glad you had fun."
"I have, it's been amazing." She sighed happily. "I'm going to find Mum."
"Hello, dear." Her mum was taken off guard by Delilah hugging her. "Thank you so much, mum!"
"You're welcome, have you had fun?"
"Fun? It's been amazing." She said softly and turned to see Ed.
"Care to dance, princess?" He said with a bow. She nodded and took his hand.
"So what were you doing in that room earlier?" She asked as they danced.
"I was collecting your present for your parents." He said.
"You were in on it too?!"
"Of course I was! I'm your favourite uncle."
"You're my only uncle that I know..." She said cleverly.
Lucy smiled at Caspian and took his hand. "Hello, My Queen."
"Hello, My King." They went out into the ball room and danced for the rest of the night. She kissed his briefly. "I am so happy you changed my fate, Caspian."
"As am I, Lucy. As am I."
