The Life of Albus Potter

Chapter 13: In a Flash

It seemed that the school year from then on went by in an unnecessary flash. It went by as fast as a cheetah catches it's prey, and from what I know, that is pretty fast.

But then again, I am not an animal expert. Quite the opposite, really, Aunt Madison's cat, Athena, and Aunt Hermione's cat, Crookshanks, don't really like me.

It might also deal with the fact that I accidently stepped on their tails when I was, like, four or so.

Anyway, by it going by in a flash, I mean that it seemed that the year was over too soon. Exams came and passed, and before I knew it, I was sitting near a tree at the Black Lake with Norrie and Scorpius and Zack.

"So, at least we will all be here next year." Zack shrugged, looking on the bright side of things, while grabbing Scorp's newspaper and fanning himself with it as the sun beat down on him.

"I suppose, yeah. What are you guys all doing this holiday?" Asked Norrie as she played with a blade of green grass between her hands.

I shrugged. "Most likely the usaul. Qudditch games, hiding from obnoxious cosins and family."

"Maybe you lot could all come over to my place. We have enough room." Scorpius suggested.

Norrie gave a sigh and looked at me. "Perhaps if my dad allows me to do so..."

I gave her a look full of sympathy, which thankfully went unnoticed by Scorpius and Zack.

"You all could come over to my place." Zack suggested. Again, we all said that that would be cool. But Norrie stayed silent and didn't reply.

What did she do to deserve this? What did she do to have Gregory Goyle as her father?

I'm REALLY sorry for the shortness of this chapter, but I feel like I had to get something out there for you guys...
