Chapter contains
Dead deer
Killing of animals
Descriptive words to explain all this.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)
You wake up in the morning to the sky being grey. The grass you laid on poked you all night, and it was all together freezing. Morning was much better though. You sit up, and look up the cliff you plummeted down the night before. It had to be at least a 700ft drop, and the fact you made it alive was astonishing. Yet you didn't make it unscratched. When you hit the water, it was like hitting a cement floor, and you could feel it, that morning. You ached all over. A rain drop falls, and finds its way on your cheek, and that's when you knew you had to keep moving. More raindrops came down, so you walked underneath a nearby tree, and thought out your plan for the day. 'So i'm basically screwed here. I'm cold. I'm hungry, and I know I flew at least 30 minutes from civilization, and I'm way to tired to fly that far. So now what.' You remembered what Fury said, when he told you you were a Magnificens. "They caught prey the size of small dinosaurs", well you can't really eat a dinosaur considering. You know. There are none left. Eating a raw wild animal would be absolutely biza... No. No (Y/n) you are not thinking about eating a wild animal. Yet you didn't really have a choice, you had been without food since... S.H.I.E.L.D. You don't even know how you survived just a day without food. I guess you were so occupied by being free you didn't notice. That or I guess you're used to it because you used to eat birdseed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You stand, clench your fists, and try to sprout your wings. Since you fell with your back to the water, the pain in your back was excruciating, but they finally emerged like they always do.
You flew over the thin forest for a brief moment, and spotted a herd of deer, grazing in an open field. 'I cannot believe I am actually doing this.' You find a sturdy tree, and land in its branches. It is the perfect place to survey the opening with the deer. You begin to regret putting this idea of eating a raw deer in your head. Yet how bad can it be? People eat raw beef in 'Steak Tartare' and raw fish in sushi. So why not deer? You swallow hard, close your eyes, and try to steady your breathing. You were nervous. These animals were certainly powerful, especially since there were fawns in the herd. What happens if you're hurt? You try to push all these thoughts aside, and focus on your hunger. The way your stomach is basically eating itself, you're desperate. This thought triggers something in you, almost like an instinct. Your eyes fly open with a different gleam in them. The gleam of a carnivore on an empty stomach. You study the 5 animals from your viewing point. Watching their every move. 3 does, 2 young deer. Yet not too young. About 6 months old. You watch one of the young ones, the way it prances around. You grind your teeth together watching it. Oh the way your stomach whined at the sight of it. That was your prey, and that's when you launched. About 60 ft off the ground and 100ft away from your victim. 90ft away. 60ft away. 30ft off the ground... One of them noticed you and started running, triggering the rest to run. You fly directly above the young deer, it's struggling to keep up with the rest, until it falls, and that's when you take it. You pick up the deer just under the chest, and keep it under your arms. It flails and whines but you hold it still. You fly back to the cliff, and stream you fell in. '(Y/n) no.' You thought. 'Stop' but you're body didn't listen. '(Y/n) STOP' You thought, and tried to take control of yourself again. What has gotten into you? You were positioned about 50ft above the cliff drop off, and that's when you dropped the deer.
As you dropped it, the creature screamed one last time, and collided with the rocks below. It whimpered for about a minute before you sat next to it.
It wasn't good... Yet it wasn't bad. You felt bad as you were eating it, that's why you didn't eat a lot. The rest of the carcass was simply left for any wolves, or other wild animals in the area. Yet what had gotten into you? That rampage you had? I guess it was just part of the whole 'Magnificens' curse, or you were just so desperate you went insane. It doesn't matter anymore, the deed was done, and now it is raining. You quickly shelter yourself under some trees when you hear thunder rolling through the atmosphere. You remember how Loki had mentioned his, not really, step brother Thor being the god of thunder. You had heard of Thor before, just not details about him. At first you thought he was some kind of rap artist, but Tanya reminded you he was a member of the Avengers and you felt extra-blonde that day. Thinking of Loki simply made your heart hurt. You didn't know if he was safe, captured, lost, or even alive, but the thought simply hurt. It began to pour and the trees didn't help, simply making it rain harder standing under them. You moved out into the open as another crack of thunder rolled through the air, and more lightning struck the ground. At this point you didn't care if you got struck by lighting. Hell, you hoped for it. What was the point anyway. You glanced over at the deer you had brutally murdered earlier, only to see vultures surrounding it. 'Hey look! Its one of your kind!' The old agents used to scoff at you. You kinda hoped you would hear their mocking voices again, because that would mean you were where you belong. A cage. Lighting became more rapid in the area, so you stand closer to the water at the bottom of the cliff. Hoping. More thunder, and someone grabbed your waist and cupped your mouth.
That's when you blacked out.
