A/N: Hai! This isn't Tom! Just for reference, I have done what Zatanna did, and it hurts, a lot. Like, a lot a lot.
This is pretty much an entire week of Chalant, so I hope this satisfies your needs.
So sit back, laugh at my pain, and enjoy some Chalant-y goodness and some Nice!Bats, because Tom convinced me.
A/A/N: Yeah, I did. I also messed with the Superman torturing, because I'm evil.
Anyone else far too ready for the Christmas entry?

Black Canary is currently expressing her considerable fury that Batman has "overstepped his boundaries." This is untrue; Batman does not have any boundaries.
He requested, to me, that Robin and Zatanna not be put too closely together on any mission, for any reason. I do not know why he came to me with this request; I am merely the "den mother" of the Team and cannot affect who is together on a mission. And, even if I could, I would not. Zatanna and Robin work well together, and if they wish to pursue an interpersonal romantic relationship, it should be their choice.
Though if they are going to become a "couple" (as I have heard Artemis call it), they could speed it up, before I am forced to step in again.

No assistance will be required from me with Chalant, for now. Zatanna "fell" in Physical Education class, and tore all of the ligaments in the right side of her right ankle, making it extremely painful for her to put any weight on it. Robin, upon return to the Cave, took it upon himself to become her caretaker until she is able to walk without crutches. I shall have to monitor how this progresses.
Red Tornado's Journal: November 27th
I must say Robin is an avid and attentive caretaker. The only time he has left Zatanna's side since he returned to the Cave is to get something at her request. He even slept on the floor in Zatanna's room, in case she needed anything in the night. This may however have been as a result of the sleeping pills Kid Flash dissolved in Robin's tea earlier in the day.
I have decided against informing Batman of Robin's actions. If he were to find out, he would most definitely put a stop to it.
I found Kid Flash and Artemis snickering outside of Zatanna's room. After sharing a "high-five," they parted ways. Was Zatanna's accident at least partially planned? This will require further research.
Red Tornado's Journal: November 28th
Evidence is starting to prove my theory that Zatanna's injury was at least somewhat planned. I heard Artemis apologizing to Zatanna for tripping her in Physical Education class, and later telling Kid Flash that "everything is going perfectly."

The only logical explanation for many of today's events is that Batman has been replaced by an imposter, or has been placed under telepathic control.
Batman came to the Cave this morning, bringing "painkillers" and a food item known as "cookies" (approximately 30) with him. They were all given to Zatanna, along with an invitation to watch training aboard the Watchtower while she recuperates.
When he discovered Robin asleep on the floor, Batman did nothing but comment his diligence in guarding an injured teammate.
Something is wrong with Batman. Fallout shelter is 45.76% complete.
Red Tornado's Journal: November 30th
Zatanna may never be allowed on the Watchtower again.
Zatanna went to observe Dr. Fate training with Superman, to try to enhance her own skills with the mystic arts. After the training, she requested Dr. Fate teach her one of the spells she had observed him using. Somehow the spell went awry, and ended with Superman unconscious, entirely green, and slightly on fire. Dr. Fate is still trying to undo the effects, with little success.
Upon hearing the events of the day, Superboy went to "beat something senseless" (as he said), and Artemis indignantly threw her hands in the air and exclaimed, "How do you break a SUPERMAN?!" Robin comforted Zatanna and assured her that Superman would be fine. I later found Robin and Zatanna in Zatanna's room, holding each other as they slept.
Note to self: invest in more nuclear shielding.
Red Tornado's Journal: December 1st
Superman is still unconscious, though now he is now temporarily adhered to the ceiling and female. Batman has requested that Zatanna be kept off of the Watchtower until this is resolved, and has additionally announced he is going to Gotham, and that no one is to follow, regardless of need, or they will lose fingers.
When I questioned Black Canary, she replied, "He has to be getting' some. He's been less brooding and rude to the League for three whole days."
Now I must inquire as to what Batman is receiving, and why it is able to alter his mood.
Catwoman has been frequently sighted in Gotham, but Robin has been told by Batman to remain at the Cave to tend to Zatanna. The two are inseparable, much to Artemis and Kid Flash's delight.
I should reprimand Artemis for harming a teammate, but see no need for it as it has resulted with considerable Chalant progress. Furthermore, all of my evidence regarding her implication has mysteriously vanished from my quarters. Carbon scoring on the surrounding area would imply either a very fast object or heat vision was involved. As Superboy does not have heat vision or superspeed, one does not need to be a level 12 intellect to deduce the perpetrator.
I once again found Zatanna and Robin holding each other as they slept in Zatanna's room. I have been informed by Black Canary that this is called "cuddling," and shows romantic affection.
Accidentally tapped into the Batmobile's frequency modulation apparatus ("radio") and had audio receptors flooded with the "Meat Loaf" song "Dead Ringer For Love."
Joy.
I'm probably laughing way too hard at what I did to Supey…
I FIXED THE MISSING WORDS :D
