A/N: I'm so sorry for not updating. There are excuses of school and then work and now moving but I shouldn't use excuses to hide. I'm sorry for not updating in so long. I'll try to do better.

Disclaimer: Nope.

From the edges of Alfea you could see the fight over the lake. The clashing of fire and ice. One would end the world. The other would save it. It was always a question of which would end it. Apparently ice was the correct choice. Unless fire could stop it. Then the question could remain open ended for now. Until the next disaster arose. And left people crumbling around it.

For now however, they would have to be content with the battle left. Between who was thought to be a witch and something that was truly evil. Something that not even Cloud Tower would want to produce. A descendant of the ancient coven who had destroyed Sparks. Three monsters that even witches had fought against. That even Headmistress Griffin had fought against.

However, it seemed as if light may win again. Icy was losing slowly but surely. The dragon fire she had stolen worked only so well for one who was not the rightful owner. So when it left her completely there was no surprise on the battlefield. Bloom knew the magic was hers. And wouldn't allow Icy to hold onto it in any way.

"Just give up now Icy and we can make this easy," Bloom insisted.

"Easy? Why would I go down easily? I'm doomed if I fail and doomed if I don't. Without the dragon fire the army of decay will turn against me. I might as well take you down with me. That way the rest of your pathetic little schools will be destroyed," Icy sneered.

"You will not hurt them anymore Icy. The army of decay will die as you fall."

"Maybe they will. Maybe they won't. Either way knowing you were gone would make my stay in prison so much nicer."

"I'm not a confused child anymore Icy. You can't defeat me so easily."

"Good. I've always loved a fight."

They were both tiring. They knew that. But neither could give into the other. This would continue until one was no longer able to fight. Though the other would most likely fall soon after. They knew the fight would be decided momentarily as they sent their dragons at the other for the last time. Each throwing whatever they had left into the attack. The ice dragon freezing the air around it. The fire dragon boiling the air the spun around it.

Bloom began falling slowly to the ground as her fairy form disappeared. Icy was falling faster though. Crashing towards the water as she was knocked unconscious. The power from the fire dragon melting hers completely. And leaving her the loser of the battle. Making Bloom into the victor even as she was falling. The powers she had gained from her time as a witch being the only thing that kept her afloat. Keeping her from falling like Icy. And leaving the people without a clear winner.

However the army of decay falling apart seemed to be a good indicator. Showing those at the school that it was Bloom who had won. It was her who had defeated the opponent. No matter what they found once they arrived at the lake. No matter whether both girls were unconscious or not. So all they had to do was get to the lake and imprison Icy before she woke up.

"What happened?" Bloom mumbled groggily as she woke up.

Looking around at her surroundings she recognized the Alfea infirmary. It was much larger than the last time she remembered. Of course that was probably due to the amount of people that were on beds like herself. It looked as though nearly half the schools were in there. All with various degrees of injuries. And various people scattered around the beds. Bloom for one had Riven asleep in the chair next to her. She saw Stella in a chair next to Brandon a couple of beds down. Hopefully the others were asleep in their own beds and not somewhere she couldn't see in the infirmary.

"Riven," Bloom called quietly poking him gently as everything seemed to hurt.

"Bloom?" Riven asked tiredly as he was awoken.

"Hey. What happened?"

"You're okay. We were so worried. I was so worried. We showed up at the lake only to find that you were unconscious like Icy. It didn't look like you were even breathing at first."

"If you keep crushing my ribcage breathing will definitely be a problem."

"Sorry. You've been out for awhile. A week I think. Everyone else here has at least been awake. They're still healing though. There were too many injuries to use magic on them. Everyone's stuck healing the old fashioned way."

"So where is everyone else?"

"Griselda forced them to go sleep in their own accommodations. She said it was getting too crowded in here with all of them sprawled across the floor. They had dragged in sleeping bags. They didn't want to miss it when you woke up. Nurse Ophelia was saying that it could take...a very long time...if not forever. None of us took that very well."

"I can imagine. I'm sorry for worrying you. And everyone else. The last thing I remember is trying not to crash into the ground after defeating Icy."

"Its fine. None of us blame you. You saved everyone. You saved the world. How does that feel for your first year being a fairy?"
"Exhausting. This better not be a regular thing."

"It better not. I don't think any of us can handle thinking you're actually slipping into a deep coma again. Flora wouldn't stop crying. I think Tecna shed a few tears as well."

"Don't be mean to them. They are my friends after all. Its weird saying that. Oh well. Never was one for normality. Guess that's why I like you."

"And what does that mean?"

"That even though you can be mean one minute and then nice the next I still like you."

"Good. Because I like you too."

"See? That's what I mean. But that's good. Otherwise that would've been really awkward."

"Yes it would have been. Now go back to sleep. Its the middle of the night. Nurse Ophelia will be by to check on you in the morning. You better wake back up."

"I will. Everything will be fine."

A week later a party was in full swing. The last patient had recovered the day before. Thus allowing for the party to be held. A party for the victory of the three schools. Witches, fairies, and heroes alike all participated. They all got along and danced and had fun. Making friendships with those outside of what was the norm. Making friendships that would span the schools even after they all returned to their own campuses. Something that would be a good thing for them all to have.

Bloom was happy with the Winx, the Specialists, and Bunny. They all got along for the most part. Musa and Sky would sulk and fume at times but they were ignored. Riven would be rude and harsh and end up starting a fight. Stella would accidentally insult someone and then sheepishly apologize. They all had their odd little problems they caused. But they all cared enough to work through them. They were friends. In some cases there was more than friendship. But that didn't upset the group too much. Depending on the member asked.

However as they all were wrapped away in a happy little world, they all knew there was a threat they would soon have to face. The return of the school year. And the following seeing of families.
