As the end of her 6th year came to a close, Hermione felt that her life was mostly where she wanted it to be.

She no longer had to deal with Ginevra's jealously, but she still did have to worry about retaliation from Ron and other members of the Weasley family.

Hermione was comfortable where she was in her relationship with Harry and was happy with him. Her and Blaise's relationship was also still very strong and Hermione couldn't have been happier.

"I cant believe its already summer again," Dean said, as the 4 Gryffindors (Harry, Neville, Dean, and Seamus), 1 Hufflepuff (Hannah), and 13 Slytherins (Hermione, Blaise, Jackie, Violet, Draco, Kaliban, Astoria, Samuel, Daphne, Theo, Pansy, Amanda, and Mira) made their way to the Hogwarts Express.

They were excited to be getting out of school and away from all the rumors that were being spread by the Gryffindors, mainly Ronald Weasley now.

Dean and Seamus were excited because they would be spending time with their girlfriends this summer. Dean had plans to meet with Antonin Dolohov at Platform 9 ¾ because he was very interested to see what kind of man had stolen his daughter's heart.

Mira had gotten permission from her aunt and uncle to go home with Seamus for a few weeks and then they would spend time at the Manor, where they could go and hang out with Hermione and the others.

"Get out of my way traitor," Romilda Vane sneered, as she pushed Hermione to the ground.

Hermione landed on her stomach on the ground. She started to push herself up, when she felt Harry, Blaise, and Draco help her to her feet.

"What the hell Vane?" Harry said, as he glared at his fellow Gryffindor.

"What Harry? She's evil and now Ginny's in Azkaban because of her," Romilda argued and made the group even angrier.

"You have no idea what you're talking about Vane. Ginny is there because she belongs there," Blaise said.

Romilda turned to say something else, but an approaching Hagrid interrupted them.

"Is everything okay here?" he asked, although he had seen the entire confrontation.

"No sir, there's nothing wrong here," Romilda said and walked away, but not before glaring at Hermione one more time.

"You kids okay?" Hagrid said, looking at the teenagers.

"Now we are, thanks Hagrid," Hermione said to the half-giant, who was still friendly to her.

Hermione and the others waved goodbye to their Care of Magical Creatures professor and walked onto the Hogwarts Express.

"Here's an empty compartment," Violet said, as she pointed one that was close to the 7th year Slytherins compartment area.

Since they were still on Hogwarts grounds, Hermione and Violet pulled out their wands and magically enchanted their compartment, so that all 18 students could fit in it.

Hermione and Harry sat beside the window, with Violet and Draco beside them, on their right hand side. All the couples were either laughing with each other or cuddling.

Hermione and Harry decided to cuddle. They had been through so much that year, that they wanted to relax before the summer greeted them.

At 3:00 pm, the Hogwarts Express pulled onto Platform 9 ¾. Seamus and Mira were the first to exit the compartment since they were by the door. The rest of the couples also walked out of the compartment and onto the Platform.

"Amanda!" Hermione and the others turned around and saw Antonin Dolohov walking towards them.

"Daddy!" Amanda yelled and ran to her father.

As she reached him, he extended his arms, and like a little girl, she jumped into his arms and he spun her around.

Hermione smiled sadly, as she watched father and daughter interact. She slightly envied the relationship Amanda had with her dad. But Hermione quelled that jealousy because she cared for Amanda and didn't want to seem like a b**ch.

"So where is the boy that stole my daughter's heart?" Antonin said in a menacing voice, but Hermione knew he was just riling Dean up.

"That would be me, sir," Dean said respectfully, as he extended his hand to the former Death Eater.

"You better take good care of my little girl or you'll learn why I was in Voldemort's inner circle," Antonin said, in a threatening voice.

"Dad!" Amanda chided her father, looking embarrassed.

"Don't worry sir, I would kill myself before I hurt her," Dean assured him.

"Well, there's my mum and dad. We better get going Mira," Seamus said to his girlfriend, who quickly said goodbye to all their friends and they walked over to Seamus' parents.

"Well, Dean, you are always welcome to visit this summer," Antonin said, as Amanda said goodbye to him and they went their separate ways.

Amanda said goodbye to Hermione, Harry and the others before she kissed her boyfriends goodbye and promised to meet up over the summer. She then walked over to her father and they walked away to go home.

Dean then spotted his parents.

"My parents are here, so I better get going before they get worried," Dean said and shook hands with his guy friends and hugged the girls.

They watched Dean walk to his parents and they walked through the portal to get onto King's Cross Station.

Astoria and Daphne hugged and kissed their boyfriends goodbye, and hugged their other friends before walking over to their parents and disapparating out of sight.

Neville and Hannah went to their respective guardians, and Draco greeted his parents.

Harry spotted his aunt and cousin and turned to wards Hermione.

"I'll see you in a few days Hermione," Harry said tenderly, as he held his betrothed.

"I'll see you soon too Harry," Hermione said before they kissed and Harry vanished in the crowd.

Jackie spotted her brother and decided to keep her goodbye with Blaise short and sweet. They kissed and promised to see each other soon, and then Jackie walked over to Marcus and they left.

Hermione, Blaise, and Kaliban spotted their mothers and walked over to greet them.

"Hermione, Blaise, how was your exams?" Claudia asked her children and Blaise snickered.

"What's so funny bro?" Hermione said.

"Now I know who you inherited your educational strictness from," Blaise laughed until Hermione punched him in the shoulder.

"Exams went very well mum," Hermione answered for herself and Blaise, since they always tied grades in everything.

Kaliban was being asked the same question by his mum and he answered the same way as Hermione.

"Well let's go home," Phoenix LeFebvre said and they agreed.

Hermione and Blaise grabbed their mother's arm and Blaise grabbed his mother's. They disapparated from the Platform and arrived at the Zabini Mansion.

Hermione hugged her mother again and walked up to her bedroom. It was painted purple, which is Hermione's favorite colour. She had a large bookshelf, filled with both Wizarding and muggle books, ranging from fairytales to schoolbooks. Hermione had a large red oak desk that had tons of pictures in frames on it.

Some of the pictures were of Hermione and her roommates; Violet, Pansy, Daphne, Amanda, and Mira. Other pictures were of herself and Blaise together. Others were of their entire Slytherin group, including Harry, Dean, and Seamus. There were also pictures of Hermione, Blaise, Claudia, Kaliban, and Phoenix together.

But most of the pictures were of Harry and Hermione. In some of them, they were kissing, and in others they were hugging and laughing.

They were all moving pictures, but there was one picture that Hermione held dear to her. It was a moving picture of Antonio Zabini holding Hermione, 3 days before he was murdered. He was holding her close to his chest and he was smiling, as was baby Hermione.

Hermione looked at all of her picture before she kissed her fingertips and pressed it against the picture of her father and herself. She promised that she would never forget what Dumbledore took away from her.

Hermione then walked out of her bedroom and went to spend time with the mother she was eternally grateful that she still had.
