Author's note: Hopefully this is posted before any of you can rant at me for being evil. I didn't really plan for Morgana to die, but I couldn't make it really pan out any other way without making it even MORE corny, so. Sorry.

I'm thinking of rewriting my stupid first ever fanfiction. It was for TLOZ: Twilight Princess. I know there's a very little chance that any of you have played that game and liked it, and even smaller that you read it while I was posting it on DeviantArt, but if you're interested at all, go ahead and say so. Just mentioning that.

If you're reading Wizards and Warlocks and are pissed at me for finishing this first, read the note on my profile and send me any angry PMs you feel like.

More at the bottom for those who are just interested in this story!

.OF MERCY.

When Morgana woke up, as much as she wished to doubt it, her first thought was relief. That quickly turned to anger as she saw Arthur sleeping in the chair next to hers.

"What the hell!" said Morgana quite loudly, and Arthur woke up abruptly. "I'm supposed to be dead!"

"You're awake!" exclaimed Arthur.

Morgana glared at him, gaze softening as she saw the pure joy on his face. "Yes, I am. Why?"

"That's Merlin's fault," Arthur admitted, grasping her hand and frowning as Morgana yanked it away. "As much as that idiot doesn't know what he's doing most of the time, he was brushing up on healing magic before the battle."

Morgana looked at Arthur, and sighed. "Most things are Merlin's fault, aren't they?" she asked the sky, and when Arthur laughed, she glared at him. "You know, I could kill you right now."

Arthur looked at her, a sadness entering his eyes. "Yes," he said, sighing, "I suppose you could. I wouldn't be able to stop you. Merlin might, but he's not here. I made sure of it."

Morgana stared at him, then looked away. Arthur frowned, then went to get up. Morgana grabbed his hand and squeezed, sniffling as she looked back up at him.

"I…" she began, then swallowed, smiling a bit, "I do miss it, you know, the old days," she said sadly, "I suppose we won't be able to go back to those now, will we?"

"No," said Arthur, pausing for a moment, but then added, "But we can always make sure that these days are better than those."

Morgana looked at him, then grinned. "How eloquent, Arthur," she said sarcastically.

Arthur just grinned back, and sat back down

When Merlin, not forgiven yet, but on his way, came to make sure that Arthur was all right and not dead, there was a magic show going on in Gaius' chambers, Morgana and Arthur laughing as they sent lights all around the room. He figured that he would never be a part of it, not after his past, but he smiled all the same.

Arthur's happiness was his goal, after all.

.OF MERCY.

Arthur's magic was well accepted in Camelot, though it was initially met with shock. Many a soul wondered what Uther would have done if he had known, and many a soul figured that it was a good thing he was dead, then. Arthur was a better king than his father, there were barely any who doubted that. Peace reigned through the kingdom.

Morgana, however, was not accepted at all. Many riots took place when she passed through the town, and many times the knights had to escort her to safety. This, along with the growing difficulty of managing Essetir from Camelot and the regret of her actions, was what led to her going back to her kingdom. When she left, there was a hug from Arthur, and, though Merlin struggles to believe it even now, a handshake between him and Morgana. It wasn't much, but Merlin thought that it was, at least, a start.

Arthur conquered the seven kingdoms with Merlin's help, bringing order to them, (though Essetir was well ordered already,) and peace to the land. All save for Mordred and his followers were content with his reign, but since Mordred was not content, war came on the lands, and Arthur was killed. At his funeral, Morgana and Merlin finally connected with the hope of the prophecy of the Once and Future King- the hope that Arthur would return again.

And so the two of them waited for Arthur, finding comfort in each other through the eternity until chaos reigned once again and Arthur was reborn. And as they grew closer and forgave the past, Merlin was glad that he was not alone.

End.

So there you have it. Sadly, there isn't going to be a sequel. Please take the time to read some of my other fanfics if you want to, but I'm most likely not going to give in and write more of this. It's been a great pleasure writing and working for you all, and I hope you have a wonderful life! Thanks for bearing with me through the wait!
