"So you gonna tell me where you two went? Your mum was lookin' for you." Dynasty said as Connor and Imogen joined them on the walk home.

"We needed to talk. And... I think we did." Imogen smiled as she looked to her friend.

Connor nodded, keeping an arm around her. "If my mum asks then I'll come up with something. Tell her we both went to look at some jobs or something."

Dynasty nodded, linking her arm with Imogen's as they walked. The four of them walked to the school house.

None of them realised it getting dark as they sat in Kevin's room, finishing up homework, messing around, having a laugh.

'Mum and Barry have gone out. K x'

Dynasty looked as her phone bleeped and she read the message from her sister. "They've gone." she said.

Imogen looked over at her. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Dynasty nodded. "I have to. We'll be sorting the flat out at the weekend, so I'll bring my stuff here, then monday i can take it all in to school, and we'll take it to the flat once Chalky's sorted it all."

Kevin bit his lip. "We're moving the rooms around... Chalky will have mine, since he doesn't need much space now, and I'll move into his room. I explained everything to him."

Connor looked to his friends, wanting to take them away from the situation and knowing it was impossible to do so. Dynasty had to come through this by herself. With full support and love from them all, but essentially she had to use her own survival instincts on her own. It was Kevin, Barry and himself that brought the police to Steve-O. Now her testimony at the upcoming trial was needed to secure him there. He of course knew, having read up on it with Imogen, that they would need far more than a rape claim to do it, they would need to tell the court everything, including the blackmail, theft and physical assaults.

"What are you thinking?" Imogen looked at him.

"Nothing." He shook his head, not wanting to say it in front of Dynasty. She had enough to worry about without the added thought that her attacker wouldn't go down for rape alone.

Dynasty watched the couple closely. "There's somethin' you're not telling me."

"Not now. Come on, if you wanna get your stuff we best go now." Connor said, standing up and helping Imogen to stand. Kevin stood and copied Connor, Dynasty slipping on her shoes as Maggie knocked the door.

"Connor, your mam's here."

"Okay." He nodded and the four of them followed Maggie out ofvthe room and down the stairs.

Christine turned as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs, and she gave her son a look that told him he had some explaining to do, and Connor had the decency to look a little sheepish, standing behind Imogen as though she were a sheild.

"Don't you hide behind me!" Imogen laughed. She looked to Christine. "Before we go could we go to Dynasty's? She wants to go get her things."

Christine looked to Maggie, who nodded to say it was fine by her.

"Alright. Then we'll drop you home and you two back here. And then my blue-eyed boy is going to tell me why you two weren't at school."

Kevin wore a fake sympathetic look while both girls burst into laughter. They all got into the car and were driven to Dynasty's home.

Dynasty got out first to go and open the door, and her friends followed. "Kace?" Dynasty called.

Kacey shot up from the sofa and ran into the hallway, straight into the arms of her sister. Dynasty mouthed to the trio to carry on upstairs.

After an hour, and a whispered argument passing between Connor and Imogen about his reluctance to allow his wife to carry anything heavier than stuffed animals, and Imogen saying she was pregnant and not physically disabled, the four teenagers emerged down the stairs with bags and boxes, which Kacey helped carry to Christine's car.

Once the car was packed, and a final hug between two sisters, Christine made her journey to Imogen's to drop the girl home, and then drove back to the school house, helping to unpack the car.

"How are you going to get this stuff to the flat?" Christine asked as Connor placed the last bag in the doorway and Christine put the last box on the table.

"Chalky's gonna help us." Kevin answered. "He's coming up tomorrow and I'm gonna help him sort it all."

Christine nodded. "Alright, just make sure you're in school tomorrow. I cannot allow you a long weekend." She smiled as the boys shared a disappointed look. "I mean it." She laughed a little.

"Yes Christine."

"If you call me that in school you'll be in the cooler for a month!" She threatened, though it was clear she wasn't being serious.

"Why not? It's your name isn't it, Christine." It was Connor's turn to join in, both boys wearing identical mischievious smirks.

Dynasty watched the interaction, holding in her laughter at the scene unfolding.

"And it's mum to you. Or you're grounded." Christine rounded on her son, her eyebrows raised.

"Yeah. You wouldn't let yours and Imogen's kids call you your names." Dynasty smirked, knowing full well she could very well drop him in it. It was proven when he stared at her looking like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Luckily for him, the older woman took no notice of the revelation, only seeing it as jest on Dynasty's part. "Yes well he'll learn the hard way. And preferably when he's out of school." She stated. "Right, you. Home. And you two in school tomorrow."

"Yes Miss." Kevin gave a mock salute, which earned him a slap from Dynasty, and Connor laughing as he left with his mum.

Christine held out the keys for him to take. "Want to drive?"

Connor nodded silently, taking the keys and he got into the driver's side, knowing now that she'd wait until they got home before questioning him.
