A/N: Sorry this has took a little bit but it is the longest chapter! Tell me what you and hope you enjoy.. :)

He was having a real good dream when he heard someone beside his head. He couldn't really understand what they were saying so he just flipped over and tried to remember his dream. He was just back asleep when the whole bed moved. He bounced up and down and opened his eyes and heard Hermione saying, "Wake up Dray! It's time for breakfast!" She was still jumping on the bed and he knew she was waiting on a response.

"I'm up! I'm up! Please stop jumping!" He said with a smile and a laugh. She stopped but the bed was still bouncing a little and she looked down with a smile.

"Good. Now be down in the common room in ten minutes. Leave your hair how it is. I like it that way. And don't complain about only having ten minutes because I got ready in ten too." She said and walked out the door.

He hopped out of the bed and threw on one of his school shirts and a pair of pants. He grabbed a pair of socks and threw them on. He slipped his shoes and grabbed a tie and quickly tied it. He ran into the bathroom and quickly brush his teeth and hair but didn't do anything with it. He ran back to his room, grabbed his bag, decided he wasn't going to wear a robe, and went out the door.

When he got to the bottom he realized why he did all of that in ten minutes. He did it to please her, to see her smile again. He shook his head and looked around for Hermione. He saw her sitting on one of the chairs reading.

"I'm finished. Can we go now? I'm a little hungry." He said and smirked just a little when she jumped. Looks like she didn't expect me done in ten minutes. He thought.

"Well, I'm impressed. Yeah, one second just let me grab a book out of my room." She said with a smile and went to get the book. He waited for a minute and she came bounding down the stairs. She wasn't really watching the stairs and she tripped over the edge of her robe. He threw his bag on the couch, ran over to her, and caught her all in about two seconds. Thank goodness for Veela speed.

"Thanks. These robes used to fit but now they seem too big." She huffed and took it off. "I'm just going to go without it today. I don't want to be falling all day with a too big robe." She took the head girl badge off her robe and stuck it onto her shirt.

"Do you have your badge?" She asked and he pointed at his shirt. She nodded and went and grabbed her bag which Draco took and threw over his own shoulder with his own bag that he had retrieved off the couch.

"You are going to hurt your back carrying two bags." She said as she tried to get her bag back but he wasn't having that.

"I am a Veela. I will be fine. You on the other hand will not. I can tell the bag hurts you more than you let on just because they way you carry it. So, I am going to carry it." Draco said and she stopped trying for the bag and tried not to smile.

"Fine, you can carry the bag. But, if we get this trip officiated, I get to choose where we go first." She said and looked him straight in the eye.

"Deal, now let's go before we are too late for breakfast." He said and grabbed her hand. She rolled her eyes and let him pull her out of the room.

They got some stares and the guys stared at Hermione for a little longer than she liked. She knew Draco could feel her uneasiness because he glared at all the ones who stared at her but smiled at the ones she was comfortable with like Harry and Blaise when they sat down. They were in front of Hermione and Draco and Ginny and Luna were in between Blaise and Harry, each beside their significant other.

"So what class do you all have first?" Ginny asked.

"Arithmeticy," Blaise and Harry said.

"Ancient Runes," Draco and Hermione said.

"Care of Magical Creatures with the Hufflepuffs," Luna said.

"Potions with the Slytherin's, so Luna and I have actually classes while you all have electives?" Ginny asked.

"Yep," They replied. Dumbledore tapped the side of his glass and everyone went quiet.

"I need to speak with Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Granger, if you would come up here." He said with a smile.

Draco got up first and grabbed another apple and took a bite. He stood to the side a bit to give Hermione room to get up.

"I wasn't expecting an answer until lunch. Were you?" Hermione said while they were walking up to the head table. Since he had just taken a bit he just shook his head no.

"You and apples," Hermione mumbled but Draco still heard her. He tried not to laugh and tried to swallow the bite of apple before he got choked on it.

"What did you need Professor?" Hermione asked when they got in front of him.

"I have good news for you. You have five Aurors and a couple Order members willing to come and watch over you all this weekend. So, you two need to post notices during your break." He said and they nodded. "Well, now that is out of the way you two need to report to class before you are late."

They nodded and went back to where they were sitting to get there stuff where once again Draco took her bag. She smiled and took his hand. She turned back to look at her friends.

"We are going to go on to class. You all should too." Hermione said. They nodded and grabbed their things and they all headed out of the hall.

Classes came and went and now it was there break. Hermione and Draco had finished making four signs for all the common room and went to put them up. They started with Gryffindor common room which Draco looked around a lot at and even admitted he liked it. She smiled and walked out of the portrait hole. Next was the Ravenclaw common room.

The door asked, 'What is the most beautiful creature,

That looks like a human but when angry or threaten can turn into a bird,

They have only but one,

True love for them?' They looked at each.

This was the simplest question ever, for them anyway.

"Veela," They said and the door opened. They walked in and went straight to the bored. The posted the notice and went back out. Next they went to the Hufflepuff common room. It was at the end of the hallway. They said the password and walked in and put up the notice. Now the last place the needed to go was Slytherin common room. When they got to the portrait Draco said the password and held it open.

"I won't let them get you." He said and she took a deep breath and walked in. She stepped to the side and let Draco in front. The notice bored was right beside the door so they didn't have to walk far. Luckily there was no one in there and they quickly walked out.

"Well, now that's done we need to head to our last class. Thankfully it's potions since we are already down here." Draco said and took her hand. They went straight to potions having to stop once to help a couple first years that got a little lost and continued on. They made it right on time and Slughorn was in front of the class. The tables were set up into fours so Harry, Hermione, Draco, and Blaise all sat together and left Ron who was glaring to sit with Neville, Seamus, and Dean.

"Hello class, today we are going to be brewing a truth potion. You will work in twos but when you are done you will be questioning the ones you are sitting with. A person cannot be under the potion twice and they cannot be really personal questions. While you are questioning them, you are to write down what the answer is and what their reaction to the question is. Everyone at the table will need the information about everyone. You will be writing a twelve inch essay about the people you are with from what you gather and how the potion is brew. The potion lasts for ten minutes so try to get as many questions as you can. You may begin." Professor Slughorn said and everyone started to get up at once.

"How about Draco and Blaise go get what we need and Hermione and I will set up the cauldrons." Harry suggested and they all nodded.

"Why didn't you suggest I go and get the stuff?" Hermione asked while setting up the cauldron.

"Then who would set up yours and Draco cauldron and who would have got mine and Blaise's potion supplies?" Harry said with a smile. Hermione rolled her eyes and smiled then she heard a small growl coming from behind her. She shook her head fondly and turned. She saw Draco throwing a small glare towards Harry and his arms still filled with potion supplies. She grabbed them out of his arms and rubbed her hand on his arm to calm him down. He looked down at her and blushed a little. She smiled at him and started the potion.

It didn't take long to make the potion and soon enough Harry, Hermione, Draco, and Blaise each had a teacher approved potion in front of them. They sat a square shaped table and each had their own side. Hermione and Draco were in front of each other and Blaise and Harry were in front of each other also.

"Now who is going to go first?" Blaise asked.

"I will." Harry said and they all got ink and a quill ready. He took a deep breath then took the potion. He shuddered and then was blank.

"So with the basics, full name," Hermione said.

"Harry James Potter." He said in a monotone voice.

"Favorite color?" Blaise asked.

"Blue."

"The person you love." Draco said.

"Ginerva Molly Weasley." Harry said with a faint smile.

"Why we went on the run." Hermione said and Draco and Blaise turned towards her.

"Isn't that personal?" Blaise asked and Hermione shook her head.

"I, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley went on the run to look for Voldemort's weakness."

"What was the most dangerous part of the run?" Blaise asked and Draco tensed up a little.

Harry smirked a little and said, "Breaking into and out of Gringotts."

"Do you have any special abilities?" Draco asked.

"Wandless magic and animagus"

"Your animagus form and are you registered?" Hermione asked.

"A Stag like my dad and yes." Harry said and shook his head. "Has it been ten minutes already?" Harry asked.

"Guess so. And you really broke into Gringotts?" Blaise asked wide eyed. Harry just nodded.

"Will this even work for me? I mean since I am a Veela?" Draco asked.

"It will." Professor Slughorn said and they all jumped. "Sorry for startling you. But, that is why I chose this truth potion. It is able to use on everything. Ah, I see Mr. Potter went first. Those are good questions, simple and not to personal. Keep up the good work." He said and left with a smile.

"Well then I guess I'll go. You all can ask me anything as long as it doesn't go out of us four and the essays. Got it?" Draco said and they all nodded. He took the potion and sat back with his eyes closed then they opened.

"Name?" Hermione asked.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy."

"Favorite Color?" Blaise said.

"Green."

"The person you love?" Harry asked.

"My Mate, Hermione Jean Granger." He said and Hermione could feel the blush on her cheeks.

"Did you want to be a Deatheater?" Hermione asked lowly so no one else could hear.

"No, I was forced to because of my father Lucius Malfoy."

"The most embarrassing thing you have ever done?" Blaise asked with a smirk like he all ready knew.

"Hid muggle posters in my room when I was about nine and would kiss them and would pretend they were my girlfriend." He said and they all busted out laughing. And he just sat that still under the potion and not even realizing what was asked just that he had to answer. They all laughed until they had tears going down their faces. They all stopped laughing after a few deep breaths and noticed everyone looking at them like they were crazy. They just smiled and turned back to Draco before the time was up.

"Any special abilities?" Harry asked.

"Besides being a Veela and what comes with it, wandless magic." Draco said and shook his head. He looked at them and noticed they had tear marks going down their faces. "What's wrong with you all?" He asked and looked over at the answer paper they were writing on and his eyes went wide.

"Who asked that questioned?" He asked with a blush. Harry and Hermione pointed at Blaise and Blaise pointed at Hermione and Harry.

"We agreed that would never come up if I didn't tell your most embarrassing secret if you didn't tell mine." Draco said. "I will get you back for this. Whose turn is it?"

"I will." Blaise said and took the potion.

"Name," Hermione said.

"Blaise Zabini"

"Favorite color," Harry asked

"Red."

"The person you love?" Draco asked.

"Luna Lovegood,"

"What is the memory that scared you the most as a child?" Hermione asked.

"Well, I was over at Draco and his Aunt was with her husband too. Well, it was when I was younger and still trying to find Draco's room and I walked into the first room and saw his mum and dad having sex. I backed out of the room fast but quietly. Then I found another room and opened the door then see his aunt and uncle having sex. I quickly and quietly ran out of the room. It took awhile before I went back over there." Blaise said.

They all just sat there with their eyes wide while their time ticked away to question Blaise.

"How many husbands has your mum had?" Draco asked to get the thought out of his.

"Too many to count, I think she is on husband ten."

"Were you neutral in the war?" Harry asked.

"Yes. I didn't believe in what Voldemort was doing but if I went to one side over the other I would have been killed. Along with the ones I care about." He said and shook his head. "Why do you all look like you have seen a ghost? What did you all ask?"

"What memory scared you the most as a child? And what you said was, well, scaring." Hermione said.

"Yeah defiantly for me considering it's my family." Draco said and shuddered.

"Well, I'm the last one. Here goes." Hermione said and took the potion. She shuddered and went blank.

"Name," Harry asked.

"Hermione Jean Granger,"

"Favorite color," Blaise asked.

"Purple."

"The person you love?" Draco asked.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy." He smiled real wide.

"How many dates will it take to claim Draco as your mate?" Blaise asked. Draco knew it was personal but he couldn't help but look hopefully at her.

"If the Hogsmeade date is good this weekend then he will have a claimed mate then. But, I am going to make him work for it." She said with a small smirk. No one noticed Draco's eyes change color.

"How much do you love Ron Weasley?" The other three heard before they could ask another question. They turned and saw Ron standing beside their table.

"I don't love him at all. I thought he was one of my best friends but that changed on the first day back. Now he is just an arse who thinks he is all special." Hermione said and shook her head. She looked down at the papers they were writing on and saw the question and her reply. She knew none of them asked it. It wasn't the type of questions they were asking. They were asking simple, funny, and kind of personal questions. Not ones where you want to hurt the subject of the question.

She looked up at him and glared and asked, "What are you doing over here? As you can tell this a four person group project and clearly you are not one of them, so what gives you the right to ask a question that benefits your own gain?"

He was looking at her then looked away. You could see his face was as red as his hair. Neville then came over and pushed Ron back to their group.

He turned back around and said, "Sorry guys. If I knew his intentions I wouldn't have let him get up. We only have two people questioned as it took a little bit to get the potion started with Seamus accidently blowing it up. But luckily it was only a mini explosion as you all looked shocked that there was one. I'll have to tell Seamus that. He'll be ecstatic!" After that he walked away and started talking to Seamus.

They all turned back around and faced each other.

"Well, this has been eventful." Draco said and they all laughed. The sobered up and were dismissed with the reminder of the essay and walked out of the class. As it was the last class and it was almost time for dinner they all headed up to the Great Hall.

Draco and Hermione sat down and filled their plates up with food. They ate quickly and bid their friends night and walked to their common room. When they got in they put their bags down and plopped down on the couch. Draco lay over and put his head in Hermione's lap with his feet hanging over the other side. She raised her hands up to his hair and started to play with it. He started a purring sound and she giggled. He looked up and smiled.

"Your eyes are constantly changing color." She said. "Right now they are a light silver-blue. What do you think that color stands for?"

He looked thoughtful for a minute before he answered.

"I think it means that my mate and I are both content and happy at the moment. But that's just what I think." He said with a smile. "I was wondering if you, Hermione Granger, would go to Hogsmeade with me."

"I would love to Draco Malfoy. Just to let you know I'm not giving a wing massage tonight. I am going to bed. She leant down and kissed him on the lips. It was sweet and gentle. She pulled back and smiled.

"Now get off before I have to push you off." She said and he sighed and rose up and got off the couch.

"So when will you give me a wing massage?" He asked before she left the room.

"Hmm, After I fully claim you, how about that? Good night Draco." She said.

Draco walked up to her and pulled her into a hug.

"Good night Hermione." He said and pulled away. She smiled and walked into her room. He walked into his room and lay on his bed. He fell asleep with thoughts of the upcoming Hogsmeade trip he was going to spend with his mate. And hopefully she would claim him when they got back; he would finally have her as fully his, and get that wing massage.
