Hi everyone! I know I just disappeared and let this story die out, but I have returned! And I'm determined to post new chapters at least once every month, but please understand that I'm in college and it certain things may pop up. Anyway, here is my next chapter. I hope you enjoy it!

"Isn't this just beautiful!" Angora chimed as she walked onto the train following Clove and Cato.

Clove nodded slightly as she walked further into the train, looking around. District Two had some pretty nice things, but nothing compared to this.

Clove looked around again before noticing two people who she had idolized sitting in identical chairs. Clove half smiled as she walked over to them, Cato following right behind her.

The female stood up and smiled at Clove. "Hello, Clove. I'm Enobaria. I'll be your mentor."

Clove smiled a little wider. "It's nice to meet you, Enobaria,"

Clove had always admired Enobaria on account of her own Hunger Games. Enobaria had ripped the last tribute's throat open with her own teeth. Clove loved how ruthless and brutal she was, and she was beyond excited that Enobaria was her mentor.

"Hi, Cato. I'm Brutus and I'll be your mentor," Clove overheard Brutus tell Cato.

Clove looked over at Cato and flashed him a grin, knowing that Cato was excited to have such a great mentor.

Angora looked at everyone and smiled. "Since we've all introduced ourselves, why don't you all sit and talk about a few issues. I would love to join you, but you'll have to excuse me. I need to go have a word with our conductor." With that being said, Angora teetered off on her too high of heels to go speak with the conductor.

Clove looked at Enobaria and Brutus, who were sitting down again, then sat down across from them. Cato sat beside Clove as they both turned their attention to their mentors.

"First of all, congratulations," Brutus said. "This is extremely honorable to be chosen for." He nodded once then looked over at Enobaria.

Enobaria looked at Brutus before nodding once, turning her attention to Clove and Cato. "The first thing that we need to know is if you two are planning on being allies. I know it may seem early to decide, and if you need some time that's fine, but the sooner we know the sooner we can get our things organized."

Clove looked over at Cato who was slightly smirking. Cato nodded once then looked at the two mentors. Clove nodded as well, thankful that Cato still wanted to be allies after everything that had happened.

Clove never thought that they both would be thrown into the same Hunger Games. She knew only one could win, and she would certainly sacrifice herself for him if it meant that he would win. He actually had something to live for.

Enobaria slightly smirked then nodded once. "Good to know."

Brutus looked over at Enobaria then at Clove and Cato. "We will arrive in the Capitol in a couple of hours," Brutus said. "A snack will be held on the train in an hour. Until then, you two can do whatever you want. Just don't kill each other." Brutus then stood up and walked off to another part of the train, Enobaria following closely behind him.

Clove looked over at Cato and forced a smile. "Well, we both got who we wanted to mentor us."

Cato chuckled a little, dry less laugh as he nodded. "That we did."

Clove looked down after he spoke, not sure of what else to say. She didn't want to bring up the fact that only one would survive. Clove glanced over at Cato and noticed an expression on his face that she had never seen before. Pain.

In that second, Clove knew that Cato was thinking the exact same thing as her. Only one can live.

Clove quickly stood up, shaking her head a little. She needed time to think about all of this. "Um, I'm going to go look around," she told Cato as she stood up and walked off. She walked through a door and ended up in a long hallway. Clove walked down the hallway and examined the doors before spotting her name. She looked at the clearly written cursive on a silver plaque before slowly opening the door to her room.

A small gasp escaped Clove's lips as she looked around. The room was beautiful, and well decorated with black and burgundy colors.

Clove walked over and flopped down on the freshly made bed, trying to think of what she was going to do if it did end with the two of them. It was likely to happen considering they were both trained extremely well with their weapons of choice. Of course the other tributes could be a problem, but there wasn't anything they couldn't handle.

Clove let out a long sigh as she rolled over onto her face, burying it into the soft pillow. She let out a huge, aggravated sigh before rolling back over onto her back. She then stared up at the ceiling, thinking about everything that had happened over the past couple of days.

Letting out another sigh, Clove slowly sat up. She tilted her head slightly to the side as she heard a knock at her door. It could be Cato, but maybe it was Enobaria wanting to discuss battle tactics or something.

"Clover? Can I come in?"

With a small smile and a push off of her bed, Clove casually sauntered over to the door before opening it.

"Of course you can. You shouldn't even ask." She turned back around as he walked in and headed back to sit down on her bed.

Cato shut the door then walked over, sitting down on her bed as Clove plopped down.

The two of them sat in silence, induced in their own thoughts. After what felt like an eternity of silence, Cato decided to speak.

"Uh, Clover, I... In the arena, if.." Cato sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of his nose, obviously stressed out about all of this.

Clove frowned a little and moved closer to Cato, resting her hand on his thigh. "Cato, I've.. I've thought about it too, and you should win. If it comes down to the two of us, you can win." Clove nodded once as she closed her eyes, trying not to regret the words that just fell out of her mouth.

She knew that it was the right thing to do. After all, he had family and friends. She only had him.

Clove's eyes snapped open as she felt Cato grab her hand, his head shaking furiously.

"What!? No! Clove, you need to go home. You need to make your parents proud!"

Clove looked up at him before shrugging her shoulders, tears brimming around her eyes.

"Cato, I have nothing to go home to. Just my parents, and I'm just a big disappoint to them whether I win or lose. You on the other hand, have friends. You have family and siblings who care about you. Your little sister needs you to go home, Cato! The only person I have to go home to is sitting right in front of me, and we both can't leave that arena alive!" Clove yelled as she stood up, yanking her arm from his grip.

Clove crossed her arms over her chest before walking away from the bed, tears now falling down her face. She had only cried in front of someone once, and she swore that she would never let it happen again. Crying was a sign of weakness, and she was not weak.

Thrashing around a little as she felt arms around her, she protested to being picked up. After a few moments of struggling, Clove relaxed into Cato's arms before letting the tears fall down her face.

I know this chapter kind of ends in an odd place and kind of abruptly, but I didn't want this chapter to be extremely long. So yeah. As with the other two chapters, I would appreciate some constructive criticism! Anything can help. So please review! Thank you!
