A/N: Hope everyone likes, the next couple chapters will pull the storyline back into play. I know things are going out of order, but I hope everyone continues to review and follow. If anyone has any suggestions, just let me know. :) PM's are welcomed.
Jax and Charlie sat in one of the booths not saying a word. Charlie was looking down at the glass of water Henny had given her, and she could feel Jax's eyes bearing into her. Neither one of them had said anything, neither knew where to start. Charlie finally looked up from her class as she sat back, putting her hands on her stomach "how…how did you find me?" she asked quietly. Jax's eyes followed her hands down to her stomach before looking her in the eyes. "Juice narrowed down where you were calling from, and then he searched hospitals and OBGYN's for your name. Obviously you didn't come up as Winston….Using your mom's maiden name was clever Char…" he said as he leaned forward, folding his hands on the table as he looked at her. Charlie nodded and chewed at the inside of her lip, she should have known that they were going to find her. "I just….I just wanted my baby to be safe…" she said just above a whisper. Jax's eyebrows quirked up at her words "It's our baby Charlie…and you did so well…." He took a deep breath and stopped himself from saying the one thing that he knew would make her stay away from him forever. "I'm going to protect all of you this time; you, Abel, and this new baby. We…I want you home." he said. Charlie knew he was going to say that she did such a good job protecting Abel last time, and not being able to do that with their daughter scared the shit out of her, but she couldn't stay away from her family, from the love of her life.
Charlie pulled her order pad out of her apron and looked at the ultrasound picture. She took it out and slid it over to him. "You'll be able to protect Abel, me, and your daughter…" she whispered. She knew that he would get the hint of her accepting his offer. Jax's eyes lit up as he took the picture out of her hand "Its... we're having a girl?" he asked with a smile of his face, and she nodded simply to answer him. He leaned over the table and cupped her cheeks and kissed her, the past few months of not having her pouring into that kiss. Opie and Piney who had been sitting a few tables away groaned, and threw a piece of bread at them "Get a room" Opie said rather loudly as Jax pulled away from Charlie "I'M HAVING A GIRL." he said as he lifted up the ultrasound picture, a proud smile on his face. Piney and Opie both got up and walked over to them, Charlie got up and hugged both her father and brother "Congrats bean" Her father said as he kissed the top of her head. Opie smiled and pat Jax on the back knowingly on the back "Better start saving that ammo now, you're gonna need it in 16 years..." he chuckled.
Piney looked at his daughter "So that means you're gonna come home with us?" he asked. Charlie looked at the males around her then looked at Henny, who had been listening to the whole conversation. She smiled and put her hands up and shook her head "Don't worry about me sweetheart, I was fine before you and I'll be fine without you. Though I sure will miss you a sure hell of a lot…" Char felt the tears in her eyes and before she could stop them they were rolling down her cheeks. "Thank you so much for everything! I promise I'll come visit you." She said and hugged the older woman tightly. "Oh I know sweets, and you better bring that baby girl up here to see me, she needs to know all about her Auntie Henny." She grinned. Charlie nodded and said the rest of her goodbyes before they made their way out to the parking lot. Jax walked out with her, his hand on her lower back "Do you want to make the drive tonight? Or do you want to wait till morning?" He asked, unsure about how she felt now-a-days, since he hadn't been kept in the loop about anything.
Charlie slid her hand to her stomach, thinking about how she was at night. Most people got morning sickness, not her, she had night sickness. "I think we should wait till morning, we can have breakfast and then leave." She said with a nod and looked at her brother and father, "I'm sure the Walter's have an extra room you two can share.." she said as they walked to her car "Just follow me there, even though this town is smaller than charming, I'm sure you could find it" She let out a little chuckle before looking around, she sure was going to miss this place, but she sure was happy to go home.
Once they got back to the Walter's and everyone got settled in their room, Charlie was happy to just lie down and relax. She looked at Jax who was sitting on the bed looking at her. "I'm glad you found me…" She whispered and walked over to him, her hands sliding over his shoulders. Jax looked up at her and smiled, putting his hands on her stomach before sliding them to her hips "I missed you so much Charlie…whatever I did to make you want to leave…I'm so sorry." He said, hoping that she would believe him "I was a wreck without you." Charlie felt his hands on her stomach and closed her eyes; she missed his touch so much. He was a totally different guy when it was just the two of them. She sat down next to him, lacing their fingers together. "You made me feel...I felt so useless, I thought you hated me for..." She trailed off; she hadn't talked to anyone about that day. "I should have fought harder for Abel…for Kip…" She whispered, looking down at their hands
Jax looked at her, and knew she was struggling. He had never thought about what she went through that day, he was only focused on the fact that that bastard Cameron had stolen his son. "Char, darlin, I'm so sorry." She shook her head "No don't…it's over now. I just want to be happy okay? I just want to go home to our son and our family." She leaned her head on his shoulder for a moment before getting up "I'm gonna take a shower, and then head to bed, I'm pretty beat." She said softly before facing him "Do you want to join me?" she asked, a small smile on his face.
Jax's face lit up as she spoke, family, all of them, together, he couldn't wait. He was going to do everything in his power to make sure that she didn't leave him again. He was about to tell her that when she asked if he wanted to take a shower with her. Of course he did, what normal guy would refuse to shower with his sexy girlfriend. "Damn straight darlin" He grinned and stood up in front of her, his smile turned into a smirk when he watched her push his cut off. He slid his hands into her hair and looked at her before pulling her lips to his, kissing her for the first time in months.
Their clothes slowly hit the floor as their mouths stayed glued to each other. Hands were everywhere, skin pressed against skin. Once they made it to the shower they were both sweating, so the cool water felt great on their skin. Jax had a raging hard on now and he knew that Charlie was just as ready. "How do you want to do this baby?" he asked as he pressed his lips to her neck, he smirked when she turned around and pressed her ass against him. "Oh yeah babe…" he gripped himself and pushed himself into her slowly, both of their moans radiating through the room.
By the time they had both reached their climax, or third in Charlie's case, the water was running cold. Charlie smiled as she looked at Jax, both of them were drying off and getting dressed. She slid on a loose pair of sweats and one of his t-shirts that she had taken when she left; she had learned to wear comfortable clothes to bed because during the night she usually got up and got sick. "If you hear me get up at like 10 or 11, just ignore me, I'll be fine in like 20 minutes." She said as she crawled into bed. Jax followed behind her and curled around her once she got comfortable "Is everything okay?" He asked, his hand draped over her and rubbing her stomach "Yeah…everything's perfect." She whispered before falling asleep instantly, for the first time in months.
