A/N: I apologize for the long wait and for the shitty length.

Charlie stood in front of their house, the house where everything happened, where her baby was taken from her, where Kip was killed right in front of her. She rested her hand on her lower stomach, feeling their daughter flutter around, as if she was giving her a sign that everything was going to be okay. She jumped slightly when she felt a hand slide onto her hip, her head automatically turning to see who it was. "Jax…you scared the shit out of me…" She said putting her hand on her heart, trying to get it to slow down. He grinned and kissed the side of her head "Sorry darlin'" He ran his thumb over her hip and walked her slowly into the house "Come on…I know someone's excited to see you." She swallowed and looked at him. She thought over and over what it would be like seeing Abel for the first time, and she had to keep telling herself that he was still so young, he wouldn't remember what happened to him, that it was her fault that he was taken from his family and whatever else happened to him while he was in Belfast. She didn't even want to think about that, she had made Jax promise not to tell her; she already blamed herself enough as it was. When she finally looked away from him, she turned her head and saw Juice standing with Abel in his arms.

As soon as she saw him, she had to keep from running, one because she couldn't and two because she was afraid of the reaction that she'd get from him. Juice met her half way before she paused, when she saw her baby boy smile at her and reach out with her arms, she felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. She grabbed that beautiful baby and held him as close as she could against her until he started to whine from not understanding the close contact. Tears welled up in her eyes and she spun him lightly, listening to his giggles.

Jax watched from the sidewalk, a grin spread over his lips and he made his way over to them. Once he got to them he put his hand on her lower back "See babe, I told you everything would be fine." He said as he led them inside "I have a surprise for you." Once they were inside Charlie noticed that the house was bare "Jax…where's all of our stuff?" She asked confused looking around at the empty house "Come on, I"ll show you." She looked up at him, truly confused. "Okay…" She said as she held Abel tighter.

They walked back to the SUV the Jax had borrowed from Gemma since Charlie obviously couldn't ride her in her condition. She put Abel in his car seat and kissed his head before getting in the front seat herself. Once they were in the truck Jax took her hand and smiled as they drove off to the other side of town, closer to TM. She looked out the window, trying to figure out where they were going "Is our stuff at TM?" she asked, still not understanding. "Nope." He said plainly and pulled into a driveway that was unfamiliar to her. It had a large wooden fence around it and the house inside the fence was beautiful. "Jackson…?" she whispered as she undid her seatbelt.

Jax smiled knowing that she finally understood. He got out of the car and walked around to get Abel. Once all three of them were out of the car he wrapped his arm around her waist "Welcome home Darlin." He led her inside the house, making sure that he kept her close to him. She looked around the front of the house as they walked, noting cameras pointing at the driveway and the front door. She kept it to herself, but she would ask Jax about it later. Once they got into the house she put her hand to her chest, it was beautiful. "Oh babe…." She smiled, tears in her eyes. He grinned and put Abel down so he could crawl around "I wasn't sure when we would find you, or when you would be coming back, so I got it done as quickly as I could."

She was wondering around the house, checking out everything as they went to each room "How…how could we…you afford this?" He went to the fridge and opened it, and Charlie saw that it was fully stocked. Jax grabbed a beer and handed her a bottle of water before leaning against the counter and starting his story "As soon as I found your note and read it, I knew something had to change. I can't change much of the club stuff that hits us but I can try and be a better boyfriend, a better father. That is in my control. So the next morning I called some people and I put the house up for sale. There was no reason for me to wait since I could stay at TM, and Abel stayed with my mom, and put our stuff in storage. Once the house was sold I took that money and bought this one." He didn't tell her about the favor that he did for the previous owner, allowing her to sell it to him at a smaller cost. "Once I had the deed in my had I had the guys go to work on it, making it the house that I knew you would want." He opened the cabinet near the fridge, showing a monitor with four squares with video feeds on them. "There are four cameras with constant feed to this monitor and wirelessly sending to TM as well, thanks to Juice. The cameras are out front of the door, pointing to the driveway, one to the backdoor and one in Abel's room."

Charlie relaxed against the chair and sipped her water as she listened to him describe the safety of their new house. "There are sensors in all of the windows, so if they are opened from the outside the alarm system will go off." He gestured towards the front door "There is a brand new alarm system, I'll give you the code to it. There are only a handful of people who know it: me, mom, Juice because he installed the system, Chibs, and you." He knelt down in front of her and put his beer on the table so that he could put both of his hands on her knees "No one will ever get to my family in my house again Charlotte. This house is a new start for us, a happy start." He grinned and reached back into his pocket, and pulled out a little black box.

Charlie's heart leaped into her throat as she saw that little black box in his hand. "Jax…" she murmured as he grinned up at her. He opened the little black box "Charlotte Pricilla Winston, will you be my old lady?" he slid the ring onto her finger when she nodded enthusiastically. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him hard, all of her love pouring into the kiss. Tears ran down her cheeks but she didn't care "I love you so much." Jax grinned and wiped her tears away with his thumbs "I love you too darlin." He stood up and took her hands in his, helping her stand up "How about we put Abel in the playpen with some cartoons and go and celebrate?" He smirked as he ran his fingers down her cheeks, then her chest before his hand ended up cupping her tit through her shirt. "Why…I think you might be on to something" She chuckled and leaned up and kissed him. Her family was whole, she was whole, and everything was perfect…for now…
