Dear Wonderful Readers,

As you all know, I am terrible at staying up-to-date on this story. It's not because I have other stories on this website. This is the only one. The reasons are these: First, high school is tough. I'm only a sophomore and I'm already half dead when it comes to... well... everything. Second, I am writing another story, but this one is a book. An actual book that will, I hope, eventually be published. I'm only four chapters in, but I haven't lost interest yet, which is a real accomplishment for me! That leads me to reason number three. Third and finally, I am lost when it comes to this story. It could go in so many different directions, yet I'm stuck. I made the mistake of creating the Plains of Brynn, a task that involves more world-building than I prepared myself for. It's just too much.

Now, after having presented my reasons, I tell you the news. This story is hereby DISCONTINUED.

If you just started reading and have read all– what, seven?– seven chapters (whoopdeedoo) in one setting, let me tell you this. I have been writing this story for two years. TWO YEARS. Seven chapters in two years tells you that I'm not too devoted, and I'm sorry. On the other hand, there is some good news. I don't know if I will discontinue it forever. I've read the Avalon: Web of Magic series about four times. Someday, I will probably read it again and it will spark my interest. I will come back to Consumed one day, but you all need to do me a favor until then. Go read something better.

Have you all read the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson? It's a super funny series about these six kids who have wings. WINGS! The main character Max is super sarcastic and witty. She's a great heroine, one of my favorites!

What about the Percy Jackson series and the Heroes of Olympus series, both by Rick Riordan? Again, I'm in love with these books and would recommend them to everyone on the planet, especially if you like funny and AWESOME.

You should also check out the Poison Study series by Maria V. Snyder, the Lorien Legacies by Pittacus Lore, and the Chanters of Tremaris Trilogy by Kate Constable. They don't get the hype that they deserve and are all full of adventure, magic, and love.

Some other great reads: The Darkest Minds series (Alexandra Bracken), the Razorland series (Ann Aguirre), THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD ONES. You know what? Just go on Youtube and look up the booktuber Christine Riccio (XTINEMAY, polandbananas20, polandbananasbooks). Watch her favorite books videos and write 'em all down! I agree with a lot of what she has there!

Okay, I'm done annoying you with my story and my book recommendations. Farewell for now! -SG
