"Lord Hugh!"

Quickly whipping out his sword, Hugh drew the tip of the blade to rest a young man's neck, which caused the young man to immediately stiffen up. Scanning the man up and down, he brought down the sword to his side, still clutching it tightly; he could trust no one- too many people wanted him killed. There were the 'dreamers', which, Hugh noted disdainfully, who still screamed for the Hero of Ideals to return, to lead the Rebellion, and Hugh had locked up the majority of those in the dungeons of the castle. However, in the past two months, things had been hectic. Many times, those servants whom he had used to test his food for poisoning had died on the spot, moments after drinking, by spitting out chunks of blood which had clotted together.

Arbok poison.

Thoughts returning to the young man in front of him, he listened to quivery voice in front of him. The man spoke softly; his eyes were blind, wrecked in fire at his town. The name was Cheren; the reason why Hugh had kept him close to him was because of his previous relationship to the Hero of Truth and the Hero of Ideals.

"It appears that the Kanto Pokedex Holders have come to aid our cause!"

Well that was good news. To have as their allies the strongest of many nations was reassuring; so far, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and half of Johto's army had joined them. Strangely enough, from Johto, there was this red-haired boy and a brown-haired girl with strange pigtails that had joined them, but not the other two Pokedex Holders. One of them, a boy with strange eyes (golden, they appeared; his name was Ethan, or something like that), was sent back to Johto after being hurt in some classified training here, and the other, a female with blue coloured hair, was said to be lost forever, missing from a previous war in the Johto region. It was a pity, to lose warriors like them, but it would be for a good cause, in the end. Even so, the Johto warriors were not to be so easily trusted. The girl seemed trustworthy and powerful, but the red-headed boy always seemed like he wanted to kill everyone; there was a fire in his eyes that reminded Hugh of Rosa. He kept the two under supervision, to determine whether or not they were

And now, Kanto was helping them. It seemed everything was on their side.

Except…the new superpower of the regions.

Kalos.

The Kalos region was the only one who hadn't helped with the war yet. It appeared as if the region wished to stay neutral, even though they had riches galore. Hugh had sent many advisors over there, to see if a pact or alliance could be made, but those who he had sent always returned with nothing.

It was as if it didn't want to be on their side.

"…But Yellow seems a bit different from the other holders-"

A maid named Amarillo served the last Hero of Ideals, the prince who had been beheaded...

The name caused Hugh to snap to attention.

Yellow…Yellow…Where have I heard that name before….?

Suddenly, Hugh stiffened.

"…Hugh? Are you alright?"

Hugh walked briskly out of the door, having made his way there without Cheren noticing, and with a royal air, darkly muttered:

"Capture her. Immediately."

It had been five months. Five months, since she had left the ship and been on solid ground. And to tell the truth, even though she hated admitting that she was just an average, angsty teenager, she couldn't bear it anymore; she was extremely, and utterly, bored. So she threw away her pride, and trudged all the way to the captain's quarters, where Hilbert was plotting their movements for the rest of the war. Neo-Plasma had stayed out of sight for those five months already, plotting their movements and spying on enemy territories. Neo-Plasma would attack, in due time, but now was not the time; the enemy was at their strongest now, with all of their allies, and no one had the ability to fight against the Revolution at the moment. But still, even though Hilda knew she was a great leader and motivater…even she could admit Hilbert was a better strategist and warrior compared to her, because of his genuine desires to fight, which wasn't out of revenge. But still….nothing was going to stop her from trying to at least fight something by herself, even if it was just her boredom…

Now she just needed to get his consent...

"…"

"Please?"

"…No."

"Pretty please?"

"….No."

"Pretty please with a Master Ball on t-"

"No!"

Hilda grimaced. Of course she should have expected this; how did she think he would react? With sparkly cupcakes and the throwing up of rainbows? Hilda seemed repulsed by this thought. No. Don't imagine Hilbert as a sparkly boy. It didn't fit her image of him. And she hated to admit it, but she actually respected him; the term "respect" actually not being used loosely here. It was just that she didn't show any of her respect towards him, as if this fear of him laughing at her stuck in her mind and buried itself. It wasn't as if he would ever agree to anything she said; that was the whole point of being enemies. Of course Hilbert wouldn't let her out of the ship- why would anyone let an idiot like her go outside where she could get hurt?

"…Just why do you want to go outside so badly?" His voice droned, and, looking at him, she realized that he was actually vaguely interested in what she had to say.

Now was her chance! (She berated herself for letting Hilbert have the final say in everything.)

"I'm just boreeddddd-," she exclaimed loudly, and plopped on top of the desk where Hilbert was working, much to his frustration. She drew the last word long enough so that it would annoy him, and he admitted that it was working; her voice, although it was rather nice in song, was extremely irritating when she wanted it to be. He couldn't stand her being on this ship any longer.

While it was true that the two had a better relationship right now than they had a year ago, both of them still couldn't stand the other for long. It was true that they got along at times; sometimes, when Hilda had her nightmares, (just occasionally, mind you, it wasn't as if he cared about her and checked up on her every night) Hilbert would go inside her room and sit next to her, claiming that her crying was too loud and disturbed him so he would try to calm her down in order to get some sleep. He always stayed in her room until the next morning though, when he always woke up first and made it seem like he had left her during the night. And when Hilbert got frustrated at his uselessness, how people and Pokemon were being manipulated by the Revolution, and became extremely depressed by how things were turning out, Hilda would burst into his room, punching him in the face, yelling at him and saying how lives depended on him so he couldn't give up, and giving him comfort by also cuddling up to him (although she always claimed it was because it was cold and since he already had a frozen heart, she didn't want him to become any colder or else she'd be dealing with a corpse) until he feel asleep.

In other words, from the views of people all around them, they were an adorably arrogant and insecure couple who wouldn't admit their love.

Oftentimes, Yancy, Rosa and Nate would scoff at this sight; with the former two worried for Hilda just a tiny bit while the latter two also cheered for their teachers, and then joked that they could truly be the king and queen now. Unfortunately, Hilda and Hilbert had overheard them once, and since they were in front of the rest of the organization, couldn't punish them until later.

Nevertheless, after that comment, Rosa got a week's worth of overly intense training, which almost caused her to collapse from exhaustion, and her Pokemon definitely were level 100 by the end of that, and Nate had to dodge his teacher's ferocious attacks, barely scraping by, muttering how if he was a Pokemon, he'd be over 100 by the time it was over. It caused them to be wary of what they said around their teachers; although they would still say things like that just to laugh at their mentors.

Both of them, however, were extremely angry when Yancy received no punishment at all for being with them, only to hear the pink-haired girl say that she wasn't the one who made comments of how two people who supposedly "hated" each other (she never denied that there was some interactions that went beyond hate) would end up ruling together. Yancy then stuck out her tongue childishly, and Rosa and Nate childishly ignored her for some time.

So why was it so tiring for the two heroes to be near each other?

Simple.

It was emotionally draining.

So in the end, Hilbert agreed (with an exasperated sigh, of course) that Hilda could wander the region briefly, but he warned her to not show herself. Hilda practically jumped up in happiness, finally glad that her boredom was almost over, and in her giddiness, ended up kissing Hilbert on the cheek in gratitude. She was happy; she would finally be able to-!

Wait, what?

Noticing what had just happened, both people fell into an awkward silence. As expected, of course. After all, what else was supposed to happen? Pineapples falling from the sky? A random Tirtouga with a mine attached to it walking in the room? A random train running through the room?

Many awkward seconds later, Hilda awkwardly backtracked out of the room, hands behind her back twitching in nervousness, hastily closing the door in front of her when she left. The door only closed half way, in her rush, and she had come back to try to close the door a second time, a few seconds later.

Hilbert was left gaping and sitting awkwardly in his chair, still wondering what happened, the map which was previously in his hands landing on the floor, and war plans all forgotten. Trying to work it over in his mind, he stared blankly at the door which Hilda had closed for the second time before finally heaving out a sigh. He let his hand fall in his hands, and then slammed his head against the desk.

He let out a groan, and lifted his head up again. Standing up in frustration, he ran his hand through his hair, messing it up even further, and then picked up the map again.

"Arceus damnit, she's annoying."

Hilda was flying above Giant Chasm with her Volcarona (where almost no one visited), because it was one of the only places where Pokemon were still living peacefully. The Pokemon there were uneasy of humans, because of their surroundings, but as soon as they saw her (a long friend with a long time no seen), they surrounded her and rubbed against her, nudging her and making gestures for her to pet them. Every Pokemon there, having befriended her before, crowded around her, leaning into her in happiness that she had returned. Yes, even the Ditto. However, they just wrapped themselves around her leg in greeting.

Laughing from the Pokemon's antics, Hilda decided to play a well anticipated game of chase with them, only to realize that her speed was dismal compared to them. Nevertheless, they decided that Hilda was the one to chase them, probably she looked funny, and she ran around trying to find them. Seeing the shadow of a Mamoswine running away from her into a cave, she tried following it, only to stop seconds later, when she found herself with a sudden loss of breath.

Ahaha how did she forget that she had exercise-induced asthma...?

So she stopped to rest for a moment, and backed against a cave wall, trying to catch her breath. Trying to breathe slower (and normally), Hilda stayed silent, in the hopes that one of the Pokemon playing chase would wander in front of her, not realizing she was there. It was much easier for the target to come to you rather you run to it.

So when she saw some shadows come closer, she quickly jumped up onto a second level path, high above the normal track, in the hopes that she could jump down and ambush the Pokemon coming by.

The three shadows creeped closer and closer, but Hilda noticed that the shadows were humanoid; there weren't any humanoid Pokemon around here, except for the occasional Jynx, but these shadows didn't have the typical dress of a Jynx. Looking closer, she saw a smaller shadow running away from the three larger ones, and Hilda's eyes widened when they came closer. There were voices that accompanied the three shadows, and Hilda covered her mouth to try and stifle the sound of her breathing, because on their uniforms that she had briefly caught a glance of, there was a knight's symbol on them. They were Olde Plasma grunts. Then, all of a sudden, the three grunts stopped. It was then that Hilda noticed that the small shadow was small girl around the corner, at a dead end. Her eyes widened when she focused on the features of the little girl.

That girl seems familiar, somehow… Was this girl famous or something...? No, but that isn't it...I have had this feeling before...

Hilda stiffened in anticipation. This feeling...the only plausible reasoning she could come to was that this girl must have been from her past life as well; Hilda had had the same feeling when she had first encountered Rosa, so this girl…

"Well, well, then, what have we here?" Hilda could feel herself cringe from the nasally voice that came out of the grunt standing in the middle, and she couldn't help but stare at the girl. Searching the girl, she felt herself grow more panicked each and every second. The girl seemed like she didn't have any method of protecting herself at all. "Aren't you that girl that Lord Hugh wants to capture? Hey! Hello, can you talk? Respond to us, won't you? Arceus, Lord Hugh told us that you were supposed to talk all weird and stuff; that you were supposed to have some weird olden accent or something."

An olden accent? Someone I recognize? But...

Well aren't you just a weak little birdy~ So helpless and can't even move, blinded by fear~ But apparently your voice and your looks can deceive, so why not stop you before you take flight? So why don't we just clip your wings, Yellow?"

Yellow!

They sent out Pokemon, from their Pokeballs, and Hilda's eyes widened when she realized that Yellow didn't have any Pokemon on her.
