"N-No! Stop right there, you scoundrels! Back off, I say!"

The poor girl was stammering; even from that high up Hilda could tell what the girl was feeling, as her hat wobbled up and down in anxiety, and the grunts kept walking closer; however, the grunts had apparently started laughing and said that they should just trap the girl for some time instead of fighting her. The grunts had all started laughing, and now Yellow was trapped in a dead end with three grunts and their Pokemon guarding her. She could see the grunts' Pokemon ensemble; nothing too powerful or notable, although they were mainly Poison-types, so Yellow had no chance of fighting them off on her own without risk of being poisoned. Hilda stayed wary, almost ready to leap out and help the girl; but this was exactly the opposite of what Hilbert told her to do, wasn't it?

Don't get into any trouble, idiot.

His condescending voice and sneer drifted into her mind, and she felt annoyed just thinking about it. She wasn't a little kid; she didn't to be told stupid things like that. But jumping right in front of the enemy...she couldn't even imagine what his reaction would be. She would get herself into trouble again, if she decided to help Yellow. But..what could she do?

Amazingly to say, she then had a sudden spark of inspiration. (She could just imagine a tiny Hilbert in her head scoffing at that thought.) A slightly strange one, because she had never tried to confirm this or anything, but this was all she could do without appearing suspicious. Studies had shown that Pokemon had better senses than humans... Scrimmaging through her bag, she tried to search for an item she never thought would come in handy here, and became more and more frustrated as the item was not being found.

She was playing hide and seek, wasn't she, and weren't Pokemon senses better than the average human's...?

(Pokemon also got annoyed fairly quickly, and she was going to use that to her advantage.)

A game of hide and seek, and she had a flute...well, she had multiple, but she just couldn't find any of them now. She knew that one day she would have to be more organized, so she made a mental note to clean her bag, but she was an extreme procrastinator. Oh god, that guy on the shores of Route 13 had actually given her so many things but she never thought of using anything but the evolutionary stones he had given her...

There was something, out of the hundreds of items in her bag, that poked awkwardly in her bag, causing a major bump. Sticking out her tongue in exertion, she stuck her hand into the pocket, trying to yank the item out. Quickly wiping the Yellow Flute with her shirt, because Arceus a lot of dirt had gathered on it, she then puffed her cheeks out by inhaling.

Then, immediately after, she blew into the flute with all of her strength, trying to get the most discordant sound that was possible.

Nothing.

Well, at least she couldn't hear it. Frowning, she put the flute down and tried again. Nothing. She then checked the flute, running over it with her fingers, to try and search if anything was wrong with it, if there were any cracks or anything. When she found nothing wrong, however, she tried pulling out a different flute.

Then another.

And another.

Until finally, she had tried all thirteen flutes she had in her bag without any of them making a sound. Groaning in frustration (but not loudly, seeing as the grunts were still underneath her), she glared at the instruments in her hand and started rummaging through her bag again. She couldn't help but notice, however, that there was a faint rumble that she could hear. Looking down, she saw the three grunts and their Pokemon look around, and she realized that there really was a rumble.

Suddenly, one of the three grunts yelped.

Turning her head towards the one who yelped, her eyes widened as she realized that the flutes had worked. Maybe they were of a frequency that humans couldn't hear. But they had worked.

Really, really, well.

In fact, hoards of angry Mamoswine and Ditto (turned into Mamoswine) were stampeding throughout the cave, angered, and Hilda grabbed onto a nearby rock for support as the Pokemon ran into the area and shook the ground, rocks flying everywhere with dust swirling in the air, all of them stopping right in front of the grunts.

The stampede had caused so much damage that Hilda's bag flew right off, and she desperately tried to reach for it, only to catch the bag and have some items fall out. Looking down in horror, she noticed that the grunts' eyes were on her. Their eyes were widened, and she was sure she was a goner now (oh Arceus, every time she tried to be silent it always ended up badly), but then she heard the rumble start up again. She quickly turned to where the Pokemon were again, only to find that they looked livid.

The grunts, looking back in horror at the items which had dropped down, noticed that some yellow, blue, white, and black flutes had fallen down. The very cause of the noise (the Pokemon knew a flute when they heard it).

...The Pokemon snorted and started charging again.

"R-Run!"

And immediately, the three grunts and their Pokemon sprinted away, while a couple of Mamoswine chased after them. Many of the others had calmed down, not hearing the horrible sound anymore, and had begun resting peacefully again. Others fell asleep or were left to go outside and graze. Hilda looked left and right to see if anyone else was there, before jumping down and petting the resting Mamoswine and Ditto.

Well I guess Hide and Seek's over.

Most of all, however, her attention was focused on Yellow, who was staring at her with an indiscernible look. Hilda almost felt a little intimated by the look on the girl's face, however she did not react to it visibly. Walking over to the girl, who had stood still and was still judging her, Hilda held out her hand in an introduction.

"Hello, my name is Hilda. What is yours?"

Well, to say that Hilbert was angry was an understatement.

To say that he was furious is somewhat better.

But to say that he was livid would still be somewhat toning it down.

Whatever the term, there was nothing Hilda would do to avoid his glare right now. She had come back with Yellow, who had said that she didn't trust the Olde Plasma for what they were trying to do to her, and Hilbert looked like he would rather die right now.

Yellow, the one who could help Rosa and Nate because she was their maid...! Who knows what they plan to do!?

He seemed to communicate with his eyes the frustration and thoughts that was running through him at the current moment, and he noticed her slowly moving away the closer he walked towards her. Well she had to endure some punishment, doesn't she...? So he started yelling. He grabbed Hilda tightly and stared into her (scared? Was that it? They seem a bit too unguarded. That wasn't good. That was never good. That implied weakness.) eyes which shone with something that he was not familiar with, and he could hardly hear himself yell over his thoughts. The only thing running through his head was that she was an idiot for endangering herself- and he wanted to stop himself from thinking that kind of thought because he didn't want to care for her-! But then how else were they supposed to accept it all-?

He was so angry that his eyebrow started visibly twitching as he yelled at Hilda, his frustration showing. But then, soon after, as if remembering his guest, he straightened himself and put on a formal smile.

Sticking out his hand in greeting, he clasped onto Yellow's hand, not especially liking the way she looked at him and Hilda, and introduced himself.

"Pleased to meet your acquaintance, Miss. My name is Hilbert. Welcome aboard our ship."

They welcomed Yellow on the ship, and as soon as Yellow was led away by Hilda, Hilbert ran to the control room and told the pilot to get away from this route. They had already made their presence known; they needed to get away as quickly as possible.

And let Yellow stay away from those two.
