Chapter Thirteen-School Switcher Pt. 1

Today was the day that young teenagers had to get up early in the day, just to meet with others or maybe enjoy the knowledge they earn to use in life. The time when teens prepare to face a daily challenge…and hope to survive till the next day. In shorter terms, that meant going back to…

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Gumball yelled out.

Alpha, Darwin, Gumball, and Lexy were outside standing at the bus stop, waiting for their bus to show up. The school break was over and all the student had to go back to school. Some of the fellow students were edger to go…and some other weren't.

"Gumball! Pipe down already, we get it! You don't like going to school. Shesh.." Lexy ordered her twin, irritated as she rolled her eyes.

Gumball then sighed and eventually quiet down.

"Yeah she's right man, you've been at it for the past five minutes." said Alpha, uncovering his ears.

"It's just that I don't want to go already."

"Dude, you had a two week break. We all did." Darwin chipped in, reasoning with him.

"But I lost a week, I was in a coma…remember?" Gumball trying to reason back.

"True but I also lost a week due to my brother's actions, so don't think that you're the only one." Alpha said to him, making Gumball understand.

"Okay fine. But this is bull-"

"Here comes the bus you guys. Finally!" Lexy interrupted, as the four of them turned to see the school bus heading up beside them before halting to a stop.

Once they got on, Gumball, along with Darwin and Lexy, made their way to the back of the bus, in their usual spot and Alpha went to sit next to Carrie. The ghost girl was pleased to see him and showed a light smile, almost blushing when Alpha did the same.

"How's your morning so far?" Said Alpha.

"Eh, normal. Just woke up and stuff like that."

"I see that, since you have that I-woke-up-and-have-naturally-nice-and-slightly-messy-hair look." Alpha told her with a smirk.

"Well I guess that makes two of us then." Carrie noted as she ran her fingers through Alpha's already messy hair. Alpha blushed a low red tint and was trying his best to stop his tail wagging, which he managed to do so. Then the bus started to take off.

"By the way, where is your brother, Omega?" Carrie looking around.

"My parents are dealing with enrolling him to the school today, so he'll probably be here by lunch." Alpha explained to her.

"Huh, that makes sense. I wonder what he looks like." The ghost girl wondered.

After a few minutes, Carrie pulled out her headphones and wanted to share them with Alpha, he nodded as the two were then both listening to a rock band that she suggested.

Now Alpha wasn't really a huge fan for heavy rock but he actually liked the song, so they both laid back and listened to tunes, blocking out most of the commotion going on the bus.

Not too long after, the bus reached it's destination and pulled up to the school building, as a orange puppet, wearing a AC/DC shirt, turned towards the students.

"Everyone off." Rocky, the bus driver, told the students as they got off one by one.

Carrie and Alpha had gotten off and were waiting for the Watterson's and when they did, they headed inside. Alpha then saw a certain robot in the hallway, looking at a bulletin board which such interest, even thought robots can't really show expressions.

"Hey Alpha." Gumball called, getting Alpha's attention.

"We're gonna go to the cafeteria to get something to eat." The blue feline told him. Alpha nodded as Lexy, Gumball, and Darwin turned to the direction leading towards the cafeteria. Carrie decided to stay with Alpha. Then the two went up to where the robot was at.

They wondered what he was looking at, so Carrie tapped on the robot's head.

"Hey Bobert, what are you looking at?" Carrie asked, raising her hand to the bulletin board.

"Greetings Carrie and Alpha. I was looking over this sheet and decided to take part of this event." Bobert explained in a robotized voice and manner. Alpha and Carrie looked at the sheet.

"The Elmore School Program Switch…Elmore Jr. High and Elmore Academy will like to have up to three students of each represented school to switch to the other and get an experience of what the other school is like for a day. Buses are set for transportation and will be picking up the signed students at the front of the school just right after lunch time on the 25th. We hope that you try out this program so SIGN UP TODAY!" Alpha read out the information to them like it was a commercial.

"Neat is it not?" Said Bobert.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool." Alpha agreed, Carrie nodded.

"What is the definition of 'cool' Alpha?" Bobert questioned with confusion. Alpha was about to tell him but Carrie stopped him.

"Don't answer that, Gumball did so a long time ago and ended up with a huge problem." Carrie briefly and quietly told Alpha, knowing from what Gumball and Darwin had told her.

"Duly noted." Alpha understood, "Anyway, it said that it'll start on the 25th."

"That's two days from now." Carrie said, as she was floating above Alpha and rested her arms on him. Alpha didn't seem bothered by it.

Bobert then bid them farewell and went to wherever he left off to. Once he left, Alpha suggested something right off the bat.

"Hey Carrie, let's sign up."

"For the school program?" She questioned, raising her visible brow as she let out a small chuckle.

"Sure! Why not?" Alpha eagerly said.

"I don't know Alpha…I haven't been in Elmore Academy." Carrie trying to reason.

"Neither have I, it can be our first time seeing it with this experience." Alpha told her, as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a pen and wrote his name on the sign-up sheet, under Bobert's name.

"I still don't know." Carrie said. Then she paused, before speaking up, "Why don't you ask Gumball?"

"Gumball? He doesn't really like school in the first place, let alone Elmore Academy. Look…it's just for only a day. Come on Carrie, please?" Alpha pleaded, holding out the pen to her.

"Okay! I'll sign up." She agreed.

Carrie then grabbed the pen and began signing her name on the last blank line on the sheet.

"Only because A: You want me to go…" She started, blushing a little bit, "and B: I get the chance to get out of this school for once."

Darwin and Alpha gotten their lunch trays and made way to their usual table where Gumball was at, along with three other people, waiting for the two. Penny, Lexy, and Carrie wondered if they could sit with them and of course, Gumball, Darwin, and Alpha happily agreed. Darwin and his buddy, Alpha sat down at the table. On one end, Alpha was sitting next to Carrie and Lexy next to her. Across from Alpha, Gumball sat next to Penny, followed by Darwin sitting right beside her.

The group were enjoying their school lunch, having a great time, meanwhile, in the school hallway, someone was walking towards the cafeteria doors, and went through them. He then looked around and found who he was looking for and made his was towards Alpha's table.

"Hey bro." The person said.

Alpha then turned around and grinned when he realized who it was, "Hey Omega." He greeted.

Alpha's friends moved their heads to get a good look at Omega, knowing the fact that he is related to Alpha, he looked a little bit similar to him and was smaller than him. His fur wasn't the same value as Alpha though, is was more towards his father's shade of grey but just somewhat lighter. Omega's hair was quite like Alpha's but it was shorter and was less messier than his brother. Alpha always had that messy-hair look.

"Well don't just stand there dude, come and sit." Darwin nicely told him, scooting over to make room for Omega to sit. They had a lot of room for Omega to be able to sit, heck, the group could have three more people to have them sit with, since they have two tables at their disposal.

Once Omega sat down, Gumball spoke up, "Hey Omega, how old are you?"

"Me? I'm twelve years old."

"Really? Wow, same as Darwin." Lexy commented.

"Uh…Alpha, you mind introducing your friends to me?"

"Huh? Oh yeah! Duh, silly me. Omega…that's Gumball, Penny, Darwin, Lexy, and Carrie. Guys, you already know, but this is my brother Omega." Alpha told the group, as Omega waved shyly to everyone.

"Nice to meet you guys." Omega greeted, then he fixed his white jacket a little bit, also straightening out his light grey jeans.

"So Alpha, are you finally going to tell us about what happened over the break, when you left?" The subject was brought up by Gumball.

"Yeah, and what about your condition Omega?" Carrie, as well as the rest of the group, were curious.

After she said that, none responded. It was silent, till Alpha spoke up.

"Alright, I'll tell what happened but first…" Alpha said to the group then turned to look at his brother. "Omega, do you feel like telling them about 'you-know-what'?" He asked, referring about Omega's condition.

"Sure…I might as well, I'm doing better." He replied. Omega took a deep breath before starting.

"Okay, so it went like this…"

A week before the problem happened…

"How have you been coping, Mr. Wolfe?" The therapist asked.

"I've been doing fine Dr. Stone." Omega answered.

"You say that every session, we're never going to get anywhere with these sessions if you keep lying to me." The therapist crossed his arms.

"Fine, I haven't been doing very well. I keep forgetting my medication and I keep losing control when I forget to eat within an eight hour period." Omega admitted.

"When was your last episode?" Dr. Stone asked.

"Two days ago, my friends almost caught on." Omega replied, letting out a sigh.

"Look Omega, the only reason we don't like having anyone find out, is because of what they might say…"

Day that the problem started…

"Are you alright Omega?" Mordecai asked.

"Yes, just a little head-achy." Omega answered.

"That's not even a word." Riley commented.

"I know." Omega sighed. "Let's make a move."

Ben nodded and began to walk off with everyone else, with Omega struggling behind them." Rigby slowed down and began to walk beside Omega.

"I know something's wrong." Rigby said, "Explain to me." He ordered.

"No, it's too personal. I just wanted to let you know that…Nevermind…just go back with your friends." Omega ordered.

"Okay then…" Rigby sighed and walked back beside Mordecai and Riley, who had their faces focused ahead of them.

The sun set and the moon rose, then the night descended upon them, thirty minutes after the conversation finished between Rigby and Omega. Omega groaned in pain, his claws were beginning to drip blood and his fingers were covered in his own blood. Omega's fangs grew a little in size and were drenched in blood as well.

"Fuck…Fuck…no…Not now…" Omega muttered.

"Omega, what's the prob-…oh sweet Jesus!" Ben's eyes widened and he hid behind Mordecai and Riley.

"What? Oh god…" Rigby gasped.

"What's wrong with you?!" Riley exclaimed.

"I…I…" Omega groaned, before his eyes changed to a mix of dark red and black.

"Let's get out of here…something's wrong with him…" Riley suggested.

"Wait, let me check." Rigby began to approach Omega.

"Omega…are you all-…" Rigby began, before Omega slashed him with his claws across the top of Rigby's right arm.

"Ouch!" Rigby screamed in pain. Mordecai and Riley helped Rigby and brought him over to them, to keep him safe.

"What the hell Omega?!" Mordecai shouted.

Omega just groaned, then suddenly howled…

Back to present time

Whoa, that's something…" Lexy being the first to say something.

Alpha only nodded. Omega did the same.

"So you're more under control now?" Penny asked.

"Yeah, I am. I feel somewhat more relieved now and it's best for my friends and family. Especially Riley…" Omega answered before letting out a sigh.

"Who's this Riley?" Darwin questioned.

"Oh she was this beagle that I was dating before. She's a cute girl and I really kinda liked her a lot." Omega confessed, resting his head on his hand.

"What about now Omega?" Said Carrie.

"We…tried having a long distance relationship, but it's not working out anymore…"

"Sorry to hear about that." Penny said, feeling sad for him.

Alpha then sat up straight and began to talk, getting all their attention.

"Now this a part of what happened when I went after him…"

The next night of Omega's Episode: Twin Peak's Industrial District…

"Omega!" a voice shouted, running into the factory.

"Oh, here he is…" Omega chuckled.

"Omega! Stop this at once! What has gotten into you!? You're better than this!" Alpha shouted.

"Rigby! Where are you!?" Mordecai shouted out.

"Rigby, take care of the tall one, I'll take care of my brother…" Omega ordered.

"Rigby nodded and jumped down from the platform they were standing on and tackled down Mordecai. Mordecai screamed in pain, his arm broke from the impact.

"Mordecai?" Alpha asked, before Omega tackled him.

"Rigby! Stop! Please, it's us!" Mordecai pleaded. This time, Rigby didn't stop.

"What do we do with them?" Rigby asked.

"We'll take them into that room over there." Omega ordered.

Rigby once again nodded and dragged Mordecai, surprisingly by his size, indicated by Omega and with Omega dragging Alpha behind him.

"Let us go!" Alpha demanded.

"No." Omega said, throwing Alpha against the hard stone wall of the factory.

"What are you doing this for…?" Mordecai asked.

Rigby suddenly threw Mordecai against the hard stone wall as well, with Mordecai collapsing beside Alpha.

Back to present time once again

"So yeah, to sum it up, Omega transformed, attacked his friends, kidnapped and controlled Rigby, and attacked us." Alpha first said, "Then, he ran off with Rigby in hiding for a few days before we eventually found them and saved Rigby, as well as changing Omega back and containing his problem once more…" Alpha finished.

"Sounded like you had gotten your hand full." Gumball told him. Alpha nodded back in agreement.

Lunch time was about to be over in a few minutes and just when anyone in the group could have said anything, Bobert quickly made his way towards Alpha and tapped him lightly with his metal claw. Once Alpha felt something tap his shoulder, he slowly began to turn around and when he fully turned around, he saw…nothing? Nothing or nobody was there, so Alpha felt confused. He just shrugged before turning back around. As he did, he was surprised and shocked to seeing Bobert, standing on the table a few inches from Alpha's face.

"Ah!" Alpha yelped, as he fell down from his seat.

The others were just as astonished as Alpha was, wondering how the small robot showed up on the table out of thin air. Carrie got up from her respected seat and went to help her fallen friend up.

"Thanks Carrie." Alpha said to her when she knelt down and pulled him up. When he felt her ghostly hand and looked into her eyes, he couldn't help but blush. He then felt embarrass and tried his best to hide it.

"No problem." She quietly giggled.

Bobert hopped off the lunch table and was about to speak towards the two.

"Greetings again fellow classmates. I have notice that the two of you have signed up for the program." Bobert said. It has seemed that he had saw the sign-up sheet.

"Yeah we did. Anyways, is there a reason why you almost gave my friend here a heart-attack?" Carrie questioned the robot and getting Alpha on his feet.

"Oh yes. There has been a slight change to the date of the switch. Principle Brown informed me that it has been changed to today. Isn't that such new?" Bobert quickly told them. Even thought robots couldn't have much emotions, it had seemed that this one sounded quite pleased and happy.

"Wait just a sec, today?" Alpha surprised at this.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, we will be leaving in approximately one minute and thirty-two seconds. So we must make way right now."

"Great." Carrie sarcastically commented and flipped her hair that covered her eye.

As Bobert wasn't kidding, he then grabbed Carrie's hand and began dragging her, but not before Carrie immediately grabbed a hold of Alpha's paw and dragging him along with her.

The three of them then made their way to the bus.

Thanks for staying around for this chapter. Also I am sorry for such the wait, since of school and my computer, along with being busy, kept me from getting this one done and uploaded. But, I manage to get it done for you readers. I will hopefully keep another month wait from happening again.

On the flipside, it was finally time for Alpha's brother, Omega, to make an appearance.

With Mordecai and Rigby, they were only making a cameo appearance and this will be the only time, note that this will not be a crossover. The ideas of Omega's problem and of his past where from RegularShowMemorabilia and I. I made it work it my friend! :3
