Hey, I'm back! Sorry, I managed to give myself writer's block… you know how it is. Uh, well… the gender-swap is in effect for most of the characters, and so they have different names. Here's the ones right now: Yusei is Yasmine, Akiza is Akira, Jack is (still) Jack (adamant about the name-change), Carly is Carl (how original, but it was an accident I made a while ago, so I'm giving her that as a guy name), Kalin is Kaitlyn, Crow is Robin, Lucy is Lucifer, Meri is Jack (yes, that's going to cause problems), and Shade is (still) Shade. If their name isn't on here, then they were either not part of the gender-swap, or I've changed them back to their original gender for the purpose of the dare in this chapter.

I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds or Disney, but you should still get a kick out of this. Enjoy!

Chapter 10

I sit, legs crossed, as the 5Ds characters glare at Meri and Lucy (now guys, and as they want to be called, Jack and Lucifer, respectively), and then at me.

Misty, Primo, and Lester are the only ones who have returned to their normal gender. Everyone else that was caught in the gender-swap remains the opposite sex.

Oh, and there are two Kalins—one guy, and one girl. So, technically he has returned to normal… yeah, no, it's definitely not normal for there to be two of him.

The gender-swap is not, however, what is making them mad at me.

It's what they're wearing.

Yasmine and Akira are dressed as Anna and Hans, respectively, from Frozen. To be exact, they're wearing the clothes that the two characters wore while singing "Love is an Open Door".

Jack (the character) and Carl are dressed up as lions. More specifically, Carl is dressed up as adult Simba, and Jack, made a lot younger, as Kiara. All from the Lion King II.

Luna is dressed as Pocahontas.

Kaitlyn is dressed up as one of the teapots from Beauty and the Beast, while her male counterpart is dressed up as the Beast.

Misty has on the light blue dress Elsa ended up giving herself part of the way through "Let It Go."

Robin has on a purple dress that looks like it's from Ancient Greece—which it probably is, because it's the dress Megara wore during the movie Hercules.

Lucifer is attempting to look like Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog—complete with the skull and cross-bones top hat, staff with the purple orb, tarot cards, and the necklace with bones on it.

Muse-Jack… is not wearing a shirt. But he is wearing grey pants. And black shoes. And white socks. Oh, and his hair is in a bun. Basically, he's dressed as Li Shang from Mulan.

Shade is dressed like Mama Odie from Princess and the Frog, with Piano and Rudolph in frog costumes, next to her.

Joseph is dressed like Sebastian. Yes, Sebastian, the red crab from The Little Mermaid.

But the outfits that have to be the most hilarious are the ones on Leo, Primo, and Lester, for the three of them are doing a very specific song from the Lion King soon… Lester is in an outfit that makes him look like Timon, Primo as Pumbaa, and Leo as the young Simba. None of the three are happy; in fact, aside from real-Jack, they seem to be the most angry at me.

"Do I even need to explain what's going to happen?" I ask.

"Yes," Kalin says. "Why the hell is there two of me, one of whom is a girl?"

"And why am I wearing a teapot!?" Kaitlyn adds.

"Well, it's Disney Karaoke, of course," I say. "And you all have to dress up like the people or animals who sung the songs in the movies."

"That doesn't answer my question," Kalin says.

"Yeah, well, I'll get to it when I get to your song," I say. "It's really complicated."

"Hmph." The icy-blue-haired man rolls his eyes at me, but doesn't say anything else.

"Okay… well… I don't know where to start," I admit.

"Who submitted the dare would be a good one," Yasmine says.

"Oh? It was kinda submitted by two people. KiryuFanGirl, who wanted the entire cast in on the karaoke, and Mizashi Haruka, specifically giving Yusei and Akiza—or as I have to do it now, Yasmine and Akira—'Love is an Open Door'," I say. "That song, 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'I'll Make a Man Out of You' were the only straight-up requests. The other songs are due to me surfing the Internet, or someone giving me a song but not specifying who it's for."

"What are the other songs?" Robin asks.

"You'll find out when we get to them," I answer, grinning. "Well, let's see who's going first…"

I pull a jar with slips of paper in it out from my bag of magic. Then, I reach in and grab a slip of paper. I open it, and read off, "Looks like Yasmine and Akira get to start us off."

The two in question look at each other, blush, and step forward.

"Oh! Before I forget, the rules!" I exclaim. "Acting out what the characters did while the song was being performed in the movie is optional AND has to be done in place, but you'll get a reward if you do. Said reward is one wish for whatever you care for—as long as it isn't more wishes or the head of your enemy on a spike. Or them, you know, just dead or injured."

"Dammit," Primo mutters.

Muse-Jack pats him on the back. "I feel you, brother."

"Don't call me that," the man in a warthog costume replies.

"Anywho, you also have to sing the songs, to the best of your ability, exactly like the characters did," I say. "Accents and all. Finally, if the song is broken apart by normal talking, the talking is included."

"Fair enough," Akira says.

"Good," I say, snapping my fingers.

The room around us morphs into the inside of one of those karaoke bars, with Yasmine and Akira standing on a small stage, each with a microphone in hand.

"Feel free to sing along!" I shout to everyone waiting at tables as I press the button to start the music.

"Okay, can I just, say something crazy?" Yasmine starts.

"I love crazy!" Akira replies.

"All my life has been a series of doors in my face. And then suddenly I bump into you.!"

"I was thinking the same thing! 'Cause like I've been searching my whole life to find my own place. And maybe it's the party talking or the chocolate fondue."

"But with you…"

"But with you…" Akira joins in. "I found my place…"

"I see your face…" Yasmine covers.

"And it's nothing like… I've ever known… before…!" the two sing together. "Love is an open door! Love is an open door! Love is an open door—"

Yasmine, "—With you."

Akira, "With you—"

Yasmine again, "With you—"

Akira again, "With you—"

Together now, "Love is an open door…"

There's a short music break, and the song continues.

"I mean it's crazy," Akira says, stopping before he says what is crazy.

"What?" Yasmine asks.

"We finish each others—"

"Sandwiches!" Yasmine exclaims, interrupting him.

I hold in a laugh as Akira continues the song, "That's what I was gonna say!"

"I've never met someone—" Yasmine starts.

"Who thinks so much like me!" Akira joins in.

Then, in full acting out, they even do the pinky-crossing, "Jinx! Jinx again!"

"Our mental syn-chro-ni-zation… Can have but one ex-pla-nation," the duet continues.

Akira, "You—"

Yasmine, "And I—"

"Were—"

"Just—"

The two together, "Meant to be!"

"Say goodbye…" Yasmine sings.

"Say goodbye…" Akira joins in.

"To the pain of the past," they sing together. "We don't have to feel it anymore! Love is an open door! Love is an open door! Life can be so much more…"

Yasmine, "With you!"

Akira, "With you!"

"With you!"

"With you!"

"Love is an open door…" the two sing, fading out.

Ah, but it's not the end of the song yet. Lucifer pulls out his video camera specifically for this part, because Akira's eyes widen as he continues the song. "Can I say something crazy?" After Yasmine reluctantly giggles like Anna did in the movie, he adds, "Will you marry me?"

"Can I say something even crazier? Yes!"

End of the song.

The two come down from the stage, blushing harder than one would think humanly possible while most of the rest of us make a lot of noise by cheering.

"Hah, now you know how I felt in mcdinh's story!" real-Jack shouts.

I hold in a laugh because she's kid-sized right now, and her voice shows that. Also, muse-Jack kicks her, and because of the size difference, real-Jack falls flat on her face. She pushes herself off the floor, glaring at the laughing muse that shares her name, before looking at Yasmine.

"Hey, I'll have you know that when Akiza and I get married, it'll be me doing the proposing," Yasmine says, pointing at real-Jack.

"Hah!" real-Jack laughs. "You don't have the guts to!"

"Oh?" Yasmine replies. "Then what about you and Carly?"

Well, looks like alternate names have been forgotten… at least in speaking…

Real-Jack's face turns bright red, and he yells back, "That's different!"

"B-Ladies!" I shout, inwardly cringing because I almost said 'boys', but neither of them are boys right now. "You can settle this later. Right now, it's time for the next song."

They take their seats as I pull out the next slip of paper. "How funny! Looks like both of the Frozen songs are going first! Alright Misty, you're up with 'Let It Go'."

"Ah, that explains the dress," she says, walking up to the stage.

"What else did you think was going to happen?" I ask.

"Well, you could have had Yasmine sing with me the 'For the First Time in Forever' reprise," the dark-haired woman replies. "Although I have nothing against 'Let It Go'."

"Good, good," I say, pressing a button to start the song.

Misty clears her throat, and then starts singing. "The snow glows white on the mountain tonight. Not a footprint… to be seen. A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like… I'm the queen. The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside. Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried…"

Her face strains a little to hit 'tried', and I don't blame her, because I also have difficulties hitting that note. Sometimes I can't hit it at all. Stupid first soprano voice of mine…

"Don't let them in, don't let them see. Be the good girl you always have to be. Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know… Well, now they know…!"

Oh dear, it looks like one of my muses is messing around with illusions, because holographic versions of what Elsa did to make the ice castle start appearing around Misty as she continues, "Let it go! Let it go! Can't hold it back anymore! Let it go! Let it go! Turn away and slam the door…! I don't care… what they're going to say… Let the storm rage on… the cold never bothered me anyway."

A short music break, and Misty keeps singing. "It's funny how some distance… makes everything seem small. And the fears that once controlled me… can't get to me at all…! It's time to see what I can do! To test the limits and break through! No right, no wrong, no rules for me… I'm free…!"

Ah, I see who's doing the illusions. It's… wait a minute, Shade? I thought he hated Frozen?! Well, it looks like Lucifer is helping her… okay, time to pay attention to the song.

"Let it go! Let it go! I am one with the wind and sky…! Let it go! Let it go! You'll never see me cry!"

Actually, that last line is a lie, because Elsa definitely cried near the end of the movie…

"Here I stand… and here I'll stay… Let the storm rage on…"

Another music break, and dang, Shade and Lucifer are really putting effort into recreating the ice castle from the movie.

"My power flurries through the air into the ground… My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around…! And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast… I'm never going back; the past is in the past…!"

"Let it go! Let it go! When I'll rise like the break of dawn…! Let it go! Let it go! That perfect girl is gone…! Here I stand in the light of day! Let the storm rage on… The cold never bothered me anyway."

End of the song, and everyone is cheering. Kalin even has his fingers in his mouth and is doing that loud whistle thing that I can't, for the life of me, manage to do.

Misty curtseys, and leaves the stage.

"Alright, good job Misty," I say. "Let's see who's next…" I pull out another slip of paper. "And the winner is… Jack, singing 'I'll Make a Man Out of You'."

"Then why am I dressed like a lion? And tiny? And still a girl?" real-Jack demands.

"She was talking about me, stupid," muse-Jack says, kicking the smaller one again.

"Yep, sorry, probably should have clarified that," I say. "Jack the muse is singing it."

Head held high, muse-Jack jaunts onto the stage, snatching the microphone off the stand. "I don't need the words," he announces.

"Suit yourself," I say, pressing the button to start the music.

Once again, Lucifer and Shade seem to like making the background from the movie appear. Characters from Mulan appear as holograms, and muse-Jack starts singing.

"Let's get down to business… To defeat… the Huns. Did they send me daughters… when I asked… for sons?"

Okay great, they're even including sound effects. I can hear the clash of bamboo poles and splashes as people hit water as my evil muse keeps singing, "You're the saddest bunch I ever met, but you can bet before we're through… Mister, I'll… make a man… out of you."

"Tranquil as a forest… But on fire within. Once you find your center… You are sure… to win." As he sings the next line, he purposely looks at everyone sitting in the crowd except for Lucifer and Shade. "You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot… And you haven't got a clue. Somehow I'll… make a man… out of you!"

Good luck with that, considering some of us are girls and always have been girls.

Oh hey, looks like muse-Jack isn't just singing Li Shang's part, because he goes, "I'm never gonna catch my breath…" In as low and gruff as possible he can make his voice go, he continues, "Say goodbye to those who knew me…" Back to normal, "Boy, was I a fool in school for cutting gym…" Mimicking Mushu's voice, he adds, "This guy's got them scared to death…" And then, as high-pitched as possible, "Hope he doesn't see right through me…" Finally, he finishes off with his normal voice, "Now I really wish that I knew how to swim…"

Muse-Jack winks to Lucifer, and my white-haired muse takes the part that just repeats, "BE A MAN!"

Over the top of it, muse-Jack keeps singing, "We must be swift as a coursing river… With all the force of a great typhoon… With all the strength of a raging fire… Mysterious as the dark side of… the moon…!"

Lucifer quits echoing the "BE A MAN" part, but I know he'll continue once it comes back.

"Time is racing toward us… 'til the Huns arrive… Heed my every order… and you might survive. You're unsuited for… the rage of war. So pack up… go home, you're through. How could I… make a man… out of you?"

Yep, Lucifer's started up again.

"We must be swift as a coursing river… With all the force of a great typhoon… With all the strength of a raging fire… Mysterious as the dark side of the moon…!"

Now Lucifer continues singing the "BE A MAN" part, but also starts singing along with muse-Jack. I shrug. I did say they could sing along… I just didn't expect it to be so loud.

"BE A MAN—"

"We must be swift as a coursing river…"

"BE A MAN—"

"With all the force of a great typhoon…"

"BE A MAN—"

"With all the strength of a raging fire… Mysterious as the dark side of the moon…! Hoo-ah!"

And that's the end of the song. Muse-Jack jumps off the stage, high-fiving Lucifer. "Nice back-up," he says.

"No problem! It was one of the things our author forgot," Lucifer replies.

The color drains out of my face. Huh, looks like I did forget… "Oops."

"Yeah, 'oops'," Lucifer repeats. "You need me to get someone for 'I Won't Say I'm In Love'?"

"No, no, I was going to have Shade do a quick costume change and sing the Muses' part. Fitting, because she's actually a muse," I reply.

"I have a better idea," Lucifer announces. "Joseph! Jack! Let's go bring a surprise guest, shall we?"

"Sure!" Joseph exclaims.

"No problem!" muse-Jack agrees.

The three of them vanish before I can say anything else.

"Well, looks like we're going to have to wait until they come back," I say dryly.

"Why'd they forget me…?" Shade grumbles.

To be continued…

So, I'm not doing all of the songs in one chapter because they're sooooo long, but I have access to them, meaning the next update should be in a few days, not a few weeks… Again, sorry for the delay…

Oh! Tell me who you want to hear sing next! I'm in no particular order so far… Actually, Primo, Lester, and Leo cannot be chosen for the next, because they're the last song. Hehe…
