I'm clearly not the most reliable person when it comes to updating this story. Which sucks. Because it's my story.

I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds, Jay/Akron, or Final Fantasy (just because there are so many references in this chapter). Still, I hope you enjoy the insanity!

***This chapter is brought to you by Dancing Mad (Second Tier), from Final Fantasy VI***

Chapter 15

I grunt in pain as I sit down. Transitioning from marching band practice to dance is really tough… Oh well. I'm back at Shimmer, so that will definitely lift my spirits.

Speaking of…

"What's the box in the corner for?" Leo asks. "And what's the red button on it do?"

I look at where he's pointing. Ah. That box. "It has a surprise guest inside it. And the button… just don't press it. Okay?"

Suddenly there's a weird noise from the inside of the box. Like, the sound of a chainsaw starting. At first, I'm confused. And then I remember who's in the box.

Oh, yeah. It promptly explodes in a shower of wooden splinters, and a lone figure jumps out of the debris. Holding a chainsaw, obviously. "Who's ready to diiiiiiiiiie?!" he shouts, holding on to the last word for a few seconds longer than normal people would.

He looks like something from a horror film. Blood-red fuzzy hair long enough to partially cover his left eye. Thin, sleek horns point out from his head. The grey jacket he wears has a red line around the collar, and it's open to show a pretty torn-up shirt of a darker grey color, bandages around his stomach visible through the material. He has on grey jeans, and black boots with red lines on them to complete his outfit.

I'm pretty sure half the people in the room let out some form of a scream.

"Akron!" I shout over the noise. "Put the chainsaw away!"

Lucy jerks her head up, staring at the newcomer with excitement. "Wait, that's Akron? As in, Doccy's Akron?!"

"Yes…" I reply.

She promptly jumps up and runs over to him. "Hi Akron! Nice to finally meet you in person!"

He looks down at my evil muse. "Who are you?"

"Lucy, of course," she replies.

Uh-oh. She sounds annoyed, and I bet I know why…

Akron starts laughing. Almost uncontrollably. "You? But you—you're so short! You don't look half as threatening as me!"

Yep. That's not something you say to my muse.

If she could be surrounded in flames, she would. But she's not the tiny self-combustible sheep Meri has, so she can't. Instead, she says through gritted teeth, "Joseph! Name me a Final Fantasy antagonist!"

"Kefka!" the boy shouts.

"Perfect." With that, both Akron and Lucy disappear. If only for half a minute. When they come back, Doccy's OC looks like he's seen better days.

Of course, I'm pretty sure anyone would after getting hit by a Light of Judgement. I had to put him back to normal myself. Eeergh…

"Lucy, no more EX Bursts," I say. "Scratch that, no more Dissidia for you."

"What the heck did Akron do?" the red-haired man grumbles. "It better be good, because he gave me back control right when a magic explosion hit me…"

"Insulted Lucy," I reply. "By the way, nice to have you, Jay."

I quickly explain what's going on to everyone else, because they're really confused. Jay's human, and Akron is a demon who lives in him.

"So, why is he here?" Yusei asks.

"Doccy asked me to let them come here for a little. Plus, there's a dare I can do… but not yet," I say. "There are a few others I want to do first. Like…" I pull out a card, and read it off.

Request by: Pimsan

Receivers: Everyone

Dare: Every character gets a class/job from Bravely Default or Fire Emblem: Awakening based on their personality.

Edit (because just getting a class/job is too boring): Once the classes/jobs have been assigned, everyone has to fight the final bosses of each respective game.

Edit 2: Everyone's getting a class from BD and a job from FE, to be used against the game's boss (whichever one you're fighting.)

"Pfft, that doesn't sound so hard!" Leo says. "I've beaten tons of video games! Plus, it's two against, like, twenty!"

"But… Leo, have you ever played either of these games?"

He hangs his head, "No."

"Yeah… things aren't that simple," I say, grinning. Then I snap my fingers, and everyone receives their job and class.

Yusei's job is Templar, fitting considering that hob is one of the best tanks in the game and also uses a variety of light-based attacks. His class is Manakete. Not sure about that one, aside from the fact that he'll be able to turn into a dragon. I guess that's why…?

Akiza's a Black Mage, mirrored by her class, which is Sorcerer. Pretty similar, except the former uses a variety of elemental attacks and the other purely dark magic. Magic, that certainly fits Akiza.

Jack, of course, has Great Lord as his class. Because it's the royalty-exclusive class, and he always calls himself the King. Although his job is Monk, I can see why it fits.

Leo's job is Spiritmaster, and his class is War Cleric. That confuses me, because I think that (not so much the class) but the job belongs to Luna. I mean, Spiritmaster? That sounds like something Luna should have. But… I guess it makes sense, since the Spiritmaster is basically the stronger version of a White Mage.

Luna, on the other hand, has Summoner as her job and Valkyrie as her class. So basically she can summon monsters for the first, and heal/use magic for the second. Interesting, and fitting.

Crow's a Ninja (job) and a Trickster (class). Considering the two are basically the upgrades of each game's respective Thief, Crow should definitely have both of those.

Kalin is a Dark Knight. For both his job, and his class. The difference between the two is that the former only has dark-based special attacks, while the latter has a horse and can use any sort of magic.

Misty… well, her job is Performer, but her class is Dark Flier. I don't see any relation between the two choices. Heck, I don't have any idea why she would end up with the Dark Flier class.

Bruno's a Grandmaster for his class, and Red Mage for his job. Not sure why he got the Red Mage job, but I find it hilarious that both of the Grandmasters (okay, Tacticians who upgrade to that class) in Fire Emblem: Awakening have amnesia. I'm that petty.

Sherry, like Kalin, has the same job and class. Swordmaster. There's not really a difference between the job and class, but I can sort-of see why she ended up with it.

Okay. I was really petty with Bruno's class, but Primo's job actually makes me start laughing. He's a Time Mage. Of course, one of the Emperors of Yliaster had to end up with that job. His class is Assassin, which has no relation to Time Mage, but considering the fact that Primo wants to kill Yusei… well, Assassin fits.

Carly is a Pegasus Knight—I mean Falcon Knight… which is still a pegasus… I don't know how that works. And then her job's a Valkyrie, so… lances? I can see how she ended up with that class though. Sumia and Cynthia, two of the Pegasus Knights of Awakening were clumsy as heck. …Seriously though, why are these choices getting really petty?

And finally, Lester's a Sniper for his class and… wait, what? His job… it's Vampire. With that I glare at Lucy, who I'm pretty sure is responsible for the job/class assignments. "Lucy… did you assign Lester the Vampire job because the person you win the Vampire asterisk from is also named Lester?"

"Maaaaybe," she replies in an innocent-sounding voice.

At that I resist a face-palm. Of all the reasons…

I sigh, shaking my head. "Well… anyways, who would you guys like to battle first? Grima or Ouroboros?"

"Ouroboros," Yusei says.

While everyone else who replies (which is all of the guys except Jack but including Sherry) replies, "Grima."

"Well, Yusei? Why that choice?" I ask.

"Ouroboros is by far the harder boss, so it's better to fight him with our full strength," he says.

"Uh, in that case I change my answer to Ouroboros," Crow says.

I nod a few times. Yusei certainly has a point. I don't know about anyone else who has played either game, but even though I over-level everyone in both games, Ouroboros' battle still lasts like twenty minutes while Grima's… well, his lasts like, five. Still. "Well, glad that that's settled. Have fun, and don't die!"

Then I snap my fingers, and all of them disappear.

Lucy and Meri look at me, and at the same time, ask, "Can we fight too?"

"Sure," I reply, "but you are not on Grima or Ouroboros' side. You can't fight the others."

"Fine," Meri says.

Lucy just scowls, but teleports the two of them away.

XXX

The first part of the battle is a lot more hilarious than I expected it to be. For one, Yusei and Lucy are the only ones who knows how to properly use the Brave and Default system. But it's also extremely fun to watch the others get really frustrated when their attacks either don't work, or Ouroboros heals himself.

I think Primo's reaction is the best, since his attacks aren't working. All he can do is buff the others.

Unfortunately, the fun can't last forever. Yusei manages to get Lester to attack the crystal on Ouroboros' chest, the source of the monster's healing powers. Of course, Lester ends up getting teleported back here in the process… but after that, everyone knows what they're supposed to do, and launch attack after attack…

I sigh as they win the fight. Well, looks like it's Grima's turn…

Which ends up being even more hilarious than Ouroboros' fight, when everyone realizes that they're fighting on the back of a giant dragon that's being controlled by a Bruno-lookalike.

And, you know, all the Risen they have to fight their way through to get to Grima!Bruno.

For zombies, the Risen sure are good fighters. Wait… "Shade, did you set it on Lunatic?"

"Maybe," he replies.

That explains a lot.

Oh, and when they do finally make it to Grima!Bruno, it's actually hilarious to watch them attack him. Don't they know that only Jack or Bruno can kill him…?

Apparently so. Jack lands the final attack, and everyone is transported back to my house.

They all seem… fine. No one gives me any death threats, anyways.

"Huh. Well, if no one's going to say anything… on to the next dare. I would have done it first, but that would have made it very hard for two of you to fight…"

I pull out the next card, and I read it off.

Request by: amk8930

Reciever: Yusei

Dare: Akiza has to sit in your lap and kiss you every time someone says the word "the".

Edit: It only counts once per sentence, so purposely using that word doesn't mean they have to kiss that many times.

Both of them blush. Hard.

Meanwhile, Jay mutters something along the lines of, "I can't watch this…"

"Well? Are you going to do the dare, or chicken out?" I ask. "Oh, and if you do, me reading the card and what I just said earns you two kisses."

Yusei opens his mouth to reply, but shuts it and shifts around in his chair. Akiza does exactly what the dare said, and sits in his lap, kissing him twice—once on the cheek, and once on the lips.

And Jay is just trying his hardest to look away and/or distract himself.

An idea pops into my head. It's mean yet fitting at the same time.

XXX

One minute later, I have out my clarinet. I lick my lips, and start playing.

"What are you doing?" Jay asks, after I've been playing after about two minutes.

I pause, "Playing the Theme of Love, from Final Fantasy IV."

"Why…? And how? You don't have any sheet music," he replies.

"During breaks in sectionals at band camp, I had nothing better to do than randomly play stuff," I say. "I have this, the Main Theme of both Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem, Don't Ever Forget… and some of Memories Returned from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky."

"You have no social life," Jack says.

I glare at him. "I'll have you know I got to Duel people during lunch, and I was the one they would all come after second."

"Only second?"

"That's because this guy named Alex played with a damage-dealing Deck, and as such was always annoying to play against," I say angrily. "If you think I'm weak why don't you Duel me yourself?"

"Maybe I will!" the blonde retorts.

XXX

Five minutes later, and everyone except Jack is laughing their head off.

I won, of course. Not without Jack claiming I cheated. Not that I did—my old Deck fused nicely with the Space-Time Showdown one. And Pendulum Monsters… they're OP. I'm just going to get that out there.

So, two good things came out of my Duel with Jack. One, I got to shove my skills down his throat, and two, Yusei and Akiza had to kiss. A lot.

…Okay, maybe Jay doesn't consider that last one a good thing, but oh well. Sucks to be part of a pairing that has waaaaaay less support.

"Alright, onto the next dare!" I exclaim, way more giddy than I should be. "Jack, you mind reading it?"

He snarls at me, but takes the card.

Request by: Doccy Larsson Seraphim

Receiver: Lucy

Dare: You, along Akron, must spend three days trapped in the most peaceful and happiest place imaginable, and they can't do anything to the world there. No burning, no destroying, no nothing. Essentially, they must spend three days in what they would call hell, but we normal people would call a nice vacation.

"WHAT?!" Lucy screeches.

Jay just makes this noise that's somewhere between someone shouting, "YES!" and someone letting out a roar of frustration.

"That's what he gave me," I say, shrugging my shoulders. "Looks like you've got to comply."

"Unless you want to be a wimp," Shade taunts, mainly at Lucy.

She whips around, her face lighting up with fury, and launches herself at him. "THAT'S THE LAST STRAW, SHADE! YOU WILL NEVER TAUNT ME, BECAUSE I'M THE BETTER MUSE!"

"Except for the idea that I came up with," he says.

My white-haired muse looks ready to pull a Sephiroth—dang it, Final Fantasy references—and I snap my fingers. She disappears, along with Jay/Akron.

"…I want to ask 'what idea', but I'm afraid of the answer," Sky says.

A malicious grin appears on Shade's face. "I'll give you a hint. Angel Burn…" he whispers.

Crow's head shoots up in alarm. "You set Angel on fire?"

"What—no," Shade replies. "Angel Burn is the title of a book Shimmering-Sky read a few weeks ago… and the idea came up with looks like this one character's situation… except it's the complete opposite."

"I don't want to know what you came up with now…" Sky says, sinking back into her chair.

"Fufufufu…" And he sinks into the shadows. Literally. Like, he backs up and sinks into the floor. Like Darkrai from that one Pokémon movie.

"…I'm just going to get on to the next dare," I say. I look at it, and the next one. And groan. "Okay, which one of you ordered them?"

"Me, of course," Meri says.

"Did you have to order them like—"

"Yes. Meaning you'll have the kittens you need for the second one."

I groan again. "Ugh… well, here's for the first of these two dares…"

Request by: mcdinh

Receivers: Leo and Luna

Dare: Get turned into kittens for a week.

"I'll be a kitten?" Leo asks. "I'd rather be a tiger. Or a lion."

"Too bad. Kitten time!" I snap my fingers.

In a flash of light, the teal-haired twins vanish, and turn into small kittens. Their fur is white, and the only difference between the two are their collars—Luna has a pink one, and Leo has a blue one.

"Mew," the Luna kitten meows.

"Oh, they're so cute!" Carly squeals, picking up both of them. She hands one of them—I think it's Leo—to Jack, plopping the poor kitten on his lap, and adds, "Look Jack! Aren't they adorable?"

Jack, to his credit, doesn't explode. His face turns angry, though, and he says through gritted teeth, "Yeah. They… are."

"Meow!"

Kitten Leo jumps off of Jack's lap, and over to Bruno. And then he starts purring and rubbing against Bruno's leg.

…Okay.

"Er, well, to the next dare," I say. "Oh, prepare yourself for the sadistic-ness of one of my best friends."

Request by: Saphine the Great

Receivers: Everyone except Piano and Rudolph

Dare: There are three buttons to defuse a bomb. One saves everyone, one makes it explode, and one blows up a box of kittens. You have one minute to decide which button to press.

Meri just laughs, and captures Leo and Luna in a box. And adds a bunch of other adorable kittens to said box.

Everyone else, aside from my muses and Primo, are staring at me in horror.

"Why are you friends with someone who submits… that?" Crow asks.

"Because insane people like to stick together, of course," I say.

A giant table with three buttons on it appears in the center of the room. The buttons all look the same—bright red—and a timer appears on the table next to them.

I say, "I'm starting the timer…"

Meanwhile, I get behind the Everything Shield… along with Sky, because she's immune to dares. And unlike half of my muses, I don't always want to cause her pain.

The erupting conversation is utterly hilarious. Everyone immediately starts arguing over what button to press. About half of the group wants to press the one on the right, about a third, the one on the left… and then Yusei and Bruno want the one in the middle, but no one is listening to them. For some reason.

"Oh, for crying out loud, just press a damn button!" Primo bellows, pressing all three of them at once.

"Wait, Primo did something right for once?" Lester shouts, after absolutely nothing happens.

Primo's reply is him punching Lester in the face.

Lovely.

"Yeah, he did do something right," I say. And when Primo turns around to attack me, I retort, "Still got the Everything Shield, sucker. Oh, and I'll pwn you with my Winged Dragon of Ra."

"You have one of the Egyptian God cards?" Akiza asks.

"Yep," I reply. "Along with two… no, three copies of Dark Magician, two copies of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes B. Metal Dragon, and B. Meteor Dragon. And those are only the ones from the original series." I wave my hand dismissively, "But enough of that. It's the end of the chapter."

To be continued…

Well, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Please review, and leave any truths or dares in them or in PMs!
