A/N: Hello everyone, I'm rather excited about this chapter. This would the first plot concentrated chapter. It's a little short and I apologize for it.

Rahzel ran her fingers through Ghirahim's pale locks as he laid his head on her. He had his eyes shut, probably thinking of some brilliant plan. Bored with his hair, Rahzel traced a diamond where she knew it existed in his sword form. He moaned slightly and opened his eyes. There deep brown looked deep into hers. "Be careful, my sparrow," he said softly.

Rahzel smirked. "Or what?" she said alluringly.

Ghirahim rose up from his position and put both his hands on either side of her hips. "You know exactly what I'm talking about," Ghirahim said with a purr. Rahzel had to grin in excitement.

"Your majesties," Mavis's voice called. Both nobles sighed at the ruined moment. Ghirahim sighed, "Yes, Mavis?" He looked over his shoulder at the question and Rahzel also tried to look over his shoulder.

"Skychild," Ghirahim said shocked and separated himself from her. Rahzel narrowed her eyes at the hero. She really didn't like the thought of him in her castle or anywhere near her for that matter. Maybe it had to do with him executing her.

She held her tongue for a moment, but got to her feet. She brushed off the imaginary dust on her dress and wrapped her arms around Ghirahim possessively. "What can I do for you?" Ghirahim continued. Link bowed his head to each of them in respect.

"I have come to cash in on that favor," Link said avoiding Rahzel's gaze. This was made difficult as she hung onto Ghirahim. Rahzel frowned but she knew of the deal that Ghirahim made. She didn't like it, but she would allow it.

"What's the favor?" Ghirahim asked. There was undeniable tension in the air. Rahzel couldn't imagine how it must have been for Ghirahim to go to the Hylian for help.

"There have been a brash of murders. The manner of the deaths is not one that Hylians could commit," Link started.

"Is it impossible or are you seeing your citizens through rose-tinted glasses?" Rahzel asked not too kindly.

"And at each site there was this sign," Link reached into his pocket and pulled out a sheet of parchment completely ignoring her. He held it out and Ghirahim took it from him. The noble unfolded it to reveal a pair of eyes. Rahzel nearly gasped as she recognized it as the same pair that marked the murders in the kingdom.

"What do you want for me?" Ghirahim asked folding up the parchment quickly as if he could hide the evidence.

"I need help tracking down the culprit, And I thought you would be the best bet because the last victim is one I think you will know," Link said as he pulled out a single pale-gray feather.

"Vladimir," Ghirahim breathed. He looked at Rahzel before answering, "I did tell you that I would offer a favor. I be prepared to leave in a couple of minutes."

"I'm coming as well," Rahzel said curious at the meaning of the pair of eyes. Link nodded his agreement and the pair prepared to leave.

They met with Link at the gatehouse. With a nod, the group left the castle walls.

…..

"This is where we found the last body," Link said. Rahzel watched as Ghirahim inspected the ground with a critical eye.

"Our friend has made a grave mistake. He left his magic signature here," Ghirahim said. He straightened. "Fi or I should be able to douse for him now." Link nodded and called Fi. The sword spirit floated in the air and greeted the two rulers.

"Fi, can you find the source of this magic?" Link asked. Fi answered affirmative and begun floating into a deeper part of the forest.

Rahzel shuddered slightly. A chill wind tugged at her hair like fingers. She was getting a bad feeling about this. The trees became thicker and the shadows grew. Her stomach continued to sink. She was beginning to have a hard time seeing as the amount of light decreased dramatically. "Ghirahim, I think this is a bad idea. Let's go back," Rahzel said voicing her concern.

Ghirahim looked at her before shouting to Link, "Let's turn back. Something is not right."

Link was barely visible in the mist that started to gather around the four's legs. He turned, "I agree. This is not good." The four regrouped and stood in a circle.

"Do any of you know the way out?" Rahzel asked looking around the forest which looked the same in every direction.

Link looked around and frowned, "I don't know. Nothing looks familiar."

Ghirahim laughed, "This is an easy fix. I'll just teleport us out of the forest." He wrapped his arm around Rahzel's waist and put his hand on Link's shoulder. "Ready?" Ghirahim asked before everything became diamonds.

When they reappeared, Rahzel found herself in a dark forest. "What happened, Ghirahim?" Link asked.

Both Hylians looked at the demon lord. He looked confused. "I don't know. This never happened before," Ghirahim said. "Wait a moment while I check something," he said. He closed his eyes and turned into his sword form. Link and Rahzel looked at each other both questioning. The demon lord opened his eyes. "This is not good. There is a strong containment spell in this forest," Ghirahim looked nervous at this revelation.

"So, Can't you break it?" Rahzel asked. Ghirahim shook his head.

"This was a trap," Link said grabbing onto his sword.

"Very astute," A strange voice said.
