A/N: Yeah, a new chapter.
Ghirahim narrowed his eyes as a large being fell from the branches it was hiding in. The figure was obviously male and stood taller than Ghirahim. The being look up into the king's eyes; Ghirahim's brown eyes looked into the strange being's blank white eyes. Whoever this man was he had short white hair and strange marking on his face. A helix sword strapped to his back. "What's the big idea?" Link shouted at the being. Rahzel protectively stepped in front of Ghirahim, glaring at the newcomer in suspicion.
The being looked at Link, and Ghirahim shuddered at the almost predatory look. In the next second, Ghirahim grabbed both Hylians and teleported away.
All three landed in another part of the forest. Link staggered slightly and Rahzel paled; consecutive teleportation jumps often had a dizzying effect. "Why did you teleport?" Link asked almost angrily.
"We wouldn't have stand a chance against him," Ghirahim said, "He is the one that cast the containment spell."
"You know.. It's really rude not to introduce yourself when meeting a new person," the strange male said trying to mimic Ghirahim's voice. "Put away your weapons. I won't harm you," he said.
"Who are you?" Rahzel asked. Ghirahim put his hand on her shoulder.
"My name is Fiercidei, but most just call me Fierce Deity," The man smiled that predatory smile again. Ghirahim took a small step backwards recognizing the name. "No need to introduce yourselves," Fierce Deity said, "I already know all I need to know." The Hylians narrowed their eyes and took a small offensive step forward. "The hero," his pale eyes stared at Link. "The Blade," Fierce Deity looked directly at Ghirahim. "And the Seer," he smirked in Rahzel's direction. "Granted I wanted the Princess and Tyrant, but you two will do," he said looking in Ghirahim's and Rahzel's direction.
"Let us go," Link said in attempt to sound threatening.
Fierce Deity chuckled, "Of course, I just wanted to play a game." Ghirahim narrowed his eyes, knowing the man's true motives. "I'll let you go. You just have to escape this maze," the man waved his hand over the mist covered forest and it morphed into a large hedge maze. "It's not a trick. If you make it through, you get to go," the man said.
"No time limit?" Rahzel asked, ever the suspicious one.
The man shook his head in negative, "Trust me, you'll come to me to get out." That hungry grin spread across his face.
"We're leaving now," Ghirahim said walking to the entrance of the maze. Rahzel followed faithfully after him. Link trudged after the pair. The king took a confident step forward. He looked over his shoulder to their strange captor. Fierce Deity didn't move an inch. The group walked forward together into the green confines. As they stepped out of the threshold of the maze, a green wall grew from the ground blocking the entrance.
"What's going on, Ghirahim?" Rahzel asked, "You know more than what you are letting on." Her voice wasn't angry, but curious and slightly nervous.
"How do I begin,"Ghirahim said with a sigh. Rahzel didn't push and waited for his explanation. "The three goddesses created this world."
"We know that," Link interrupted.
"They had another sister. Her name was Majora. Majora craved chaos. She thrived on disorder, so the three decided not to tell her of their plans to create the earth," Ghirahim continued. "When she found out, she set out to destroy that which her sisters made. Frightened, the Golden Goddesses cast her into a beastly form."
"What does this have to do with our captor?" Link asked.
"I'm getting to that," Ghirahim answered. "Even in this form, Majora could still communicate. She hated her sisters for what they did to her. She used her influence to amass a group of followers and granted them great powers."
"Fierce Deity must have been one of her followers," Rahzel said.
"Exactly, Demise and Hylia sealed Majora into a forest that was impossible to escape," Ghirahim finished, "The last thing Demise told me was that Majora would destroy all life in revenge for her sister's actions."
"But what does Fierce Deity need with us?" Link asked.
"I rather not think of it, "Ghirahim admitted, "But if he is a man of his word, we should try to escape this maze and return to our lives." He walked on watching each step. Rahzel walked beside him, silently thinking. The three didn't speak, the only sound in the green corridor was their footsteps.
Ghirahim stopped as the path they were on split. He looked down both paths. They were identical in every way. Both had a leaf covered floor and tall green hedges. "Which way do you think we should go?" he asked out loud.
"Left," Rahzel answered and Link answered "Right." Both Hylians gave each other a small glare, but didn't comment for a second.
"Left, look the ground is more level," Rahzel said putting her hands on her hips.
"Right, it's brighter," Link said crossing his arms.
"I don't think you should be followed. You led us into this trap," Rahzel said voice rising.
Link fumed silently, not thinking of a comeback. Instead, he started down the right path. Rahzel raised her nose and started down the left path. Ghirahim watched both Hylians. He knew that they would be at odds. He may not be Link's friend, but he did owe him for saving Rahzel's life. He hurried to Rahzel's side and put his hand on her shoulder stopping her. "My love, I gave him my word. And we should stay together," he said.
Rahzel looked at him, "Okay, but I'm doing this for you." She turned sharply and begun to follow Link. Ghirahim stayed by her side.
"Rahzel," Ghirahim started. He paused not knowing how he wanted to proceed. The woman looked to him to finish. "When Fierce Deity appeared, you stepped in front of him to protect me."
"Of course, I love you. I don't want you to get hurt. And besides, I swore I would protect and serve you. I am your knight after all," Rahzel said now smiling.
"May I ask you not to?" Ghirahim said with an exhale, "I care for you too much to lose you."
Rahzel grabbed his hand and held onto it, "If you ask me, I will do so."
Ghirahim looked into her eyes, "You're a horrible liar." The king said that and didn't pursue to question her further. The pair walked silently watching the hero walk on ahead. A loud grumble shook the ground. The three rulers looked forward to see a large boar charging toward them.
"Run," Link shouted turning the way they came. The two white-haired nobles didn't hesitate and began to run through the green corridor. Ghirahim skidded to a stop as green wall grew in front of his feet, blocking his path.
"We have no choice, but to fight," Ghirahim said turning around summoning his blades. Rahzel and Link unsheathed their swords. The large boar roared and lowered its head to charge.
