Hey, guess who finally updated? Sorry about the long wait but I've been pretty busy and my Beta reader has been pretty sick this last month. I've been more concerned with their health than with them editing my stories. My stories can wait, they're health can not.
They're still sick but insisted on editing them after I messaged asking if they were feeling better and saying I was concerned after not hearing from them.
Anyways onto the reviews.
N. A. Wennerholm chapter 6 . Feb 23
Crystal should still confront The Dursleys for the stolen money with the help of a Lawyer/Barrister/Solicitor. About the money received but never used on her as required by law. And that they will no longer receive money directly for her care. And That Crystal should have a trusted goblin for her personal healer. And this our favorite Potter would handle her own finances with Grinlast's help. Even with the correct instructions on how different service providers would bill her family accounts for services rendered. This includes a copy of their fee schedule so that the goblins know and if any changes to occurs a new schedule is sent. This makes sure that no one takes advantage and that she is protected.
Me: Crystal is definitely having a few goblins with her when she confronts the Dursleys no worries. They'll also help her with the legal side of suing people
Mult1verseTravl3r chapter 6 . Mar 10
well Hermione is screwed. pretty neutral on her character but Ron is only an ass in the movies because the primary director was a Hermione stan.
Me: Yeah they gave all of Ron's good lines to Hermione in the movies, something I'm still salty about. I actually think I like Ron better than Hermione just a bit so that really irritated me when I realized it.
Onto the story!
Crystal turned to the three parchments left, each one containing information about each of her accounts. She picked one up and looked at it, it held the information on the Peverell accounts.

Luckily, there were no surprises with the account. No money was leaving the account when it shouldn't, and the two investments that this account had were very successful.
She had shares in the bank which from what she's been able to tell might be the only bank magical Britain had, and a wand shop was bound to do good in the magical world. Everyone needed a wand from what she saw when walking in the bank.
She picked up the next parchment and noticed that it held the information for the Slytherin accounts.

Crystal frowned when seeing the investments section. "Grinlast I need some advice. It says here I own eighty percent of this Knockturn alley but no one has paid back their loans or paid rent for over three hundred years. Would the Gringgots be willing to get this taken care of as well?"
"Please pass me the Parchment lady Potter Peverell Hufflepuff Slytherin." He held out a hand and accepted the parchment when it was handed to him.
"Please just call me Crystal." She spoke with a grimace, not noticing how Grinlast looked up surprised before masking it and looking back down. She did however notice when he let out a furious-sounding growl.
"We shall take care of this la-Crystal, you have my word."
"Thank you Grinlast, of course, the bank can take 5% of the money they get back, don't forget to charge them interest as well." She paused, "If they have no money and seem like they might be a good person or have a family offer them the chance to do community service in return for paying off the debt and getting some extra cash."
"Half of the check can go towards the dept but, the other half they can keep."
Grinlast stared at her surprised, "Are you sure Crystal?"
She nodded, a determined look on her young face. "I'm sure, I don't want anyone suffering for their ancestor's actions. I want to make sure they can have an honest way of paying back the dept while still being able to take care of themselves and their families."
Grinlast just stared before shaking his head, "Very well, I shall add this as an option for those who truly need it."
Crystal gave him a huge smile before turning to the last parchment and picking it up.

She relaxed when seeing that this account didn't have anything wrong with it. She would need to find out if the Bank knew of anyone that she could hire to fix the houses she owned but she would do that after she shopped for her school supplies.
"Grinlast I need to go shop for my school supplies but when I come back would it be alright if you came with me to my Aunts home, I guess it's really my house though, and tell them that my aunt and uncle what needs to be done?"
"With pleasure, ma'am." She was slightly creeped out at his weird smile but shrugged it off. A happy Goblin was a creepy one.
She paused when she remembered something important, "Hey before I go shopping, I do have a few more questions."
"What are they?" Grinlast looked at her.
"What the hell are Gallons, Knuts, and sickles?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Crystal stepped out of the bank half an hour later with knowledge of how the money in the world worked, and with a brand new magical wallet. The wallet was connected to the Peverell vault. She just needed to think about the amount of money she wanted, put her hand in and she could pull out the exact amount she had been thinking of.
It worked for Muggle money as well.
The first thing she did was go to a store that had a sign on it reading 'Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions', she was betting that she could get her school robes there. Grinlast had advised her to get a full magical wardrobe, including formal and dress robes. She didn't know what the difference was but he hadn't steered her wrong so far.
It took a while for her to get measured for the new wardrobe, she was told that the order would be finished by tomorrow and she could pick it up then. Crystal bought a normal simple blue robe that she put on to help her stop standing out with her normal clothes before she left the store.
Her next stop was the trunk store where she bought a six-compartment trunk. The first one she was going to use to hold her writing supplies, both muggle and magical. The second would hold all the books she had, muggle and magical school books, the reason they wouldn't be in the first compartment with the writing supplies is that she didn't want to risk getting ink all over them.
The third would be for clothes, shoes, accessories, and hygiene products. The fourth compartment would hold her potion supplies, she didn't want to risk contaminating them somehow. The fifth compartment would hold her other things, like the telescope and cauldron she needed to get for school.
The sixth compartment would be where she kept everything else, sweats, knickknacks, and the like.
She got it in a sea green with rose gold trimming, her initials were engraved on the top in the same rose gold color as the trim. It was charmed so it would only open to her and anyone else trying to open it would first get a warning shock, if they continued they would be dyed barf green and get another shock that was a bit stronger than the first, if they still tried after that it would release a shock that would make the person need to see a doctor to fix their hand.
Crystal thought it might be a bit much but the trunk would give two warnings before resorting to the big shock. It was also charmed so no one could destroy it, it was fireproof as well.
The trunk would also shrink and grow at will. All of this combined made the trunk pretty expensive but she paid the price for it. She wanted to be able to know that her things would be safe, that no one would steal from her, and that her uncle and aunt couldn't destroy the trunk no matter what they tried.
After getting her trunk she went to the apothecary to pick up her first year's potions kit. She also bought herself the best dragon hide gloves they had but blanched when realizing she needed to get a pewter cauldron. Hadn't these people heard of lead poisoning before?
Crystal refused to get a pewter, vowing she would see if the Goblins would know of a place she could get one that wouldn't give her lead poisoning.
If these people used pewter for cauldrons, then what the hell were they using for pipes? Please tell her that they weren't using lead pipes, that was a surefire way to get sick! She would have to carry around a water bottle with her to hold water in. Wizards were mad, she decided.
She shook her head and picked up the crystal vials she was told to get but ignored the brass scales, she would see if there was a place that sold better ones that weren't made of brass.
After that she went to get a telescope and was unimpressed with the magical ones, she still got one but she would be getting a muggle one as well and see if she could use that instead.
Crystal decided to get her wand last so instead of turning to go to the wand shop she went to the bookstore. She started browsing, pulling the books that she needed off the shelves along with any she thought were interesting when she froze.
There on one of the shelves in the back was a set of children's books that were being sold, normally that wouldn't make her upset but it was the titles of the books along with a sign nearby that promised that these books were true as far as the owners were aware.
The books were 'Crystal Potter adventure' books. Oh, she was going to sue! Who the hell thought they could get away with this? She growled and grabbed one of the books before walking to the counter and paying.
She needed to calm down. She knew this, so instead of going to get her wand, she walked away from the situation and decided to go to the pet shop. As soon as she walked in a snowy owl landed on her shoulder and started grooming her hair.
A cat ran up and started rubbing itself against Crystal's legs and she just stood there surprised. One of the workers ran up trying to apologize but Crystal told them it was fine and had them ring up everything an owl and a cat would need. The two animals seemed to soothe something deep inside her very soul, something she hadn't even realized was aching.
After she paid for the animals and their supplies she learned that the cat was a boy and the owl a girl. She promised to give them wonderful names later when she went home.
She stopped to take a look at her new pets. The cat had black fur with a white patch in the middle of its back that looked like a heart. Its eyes were special, they were two different colors. It was the colors that surprised her though, the same blue and green shades that her own eyes turned when in ghost and human form.
Crystal wondered if that meant anything special as she turned to look at the owl. It had pure snow-white feathers and amber-colored eyes that held a spark of intelligence and life in them. She reached out and gently ran the tips of her fingers over the owl's feathers, they were so soft.
After a few more moments she started walking to the wand store, she had put it off long enough.
As soon as she walked into the store she froze, it felt like it had when she had entered the Ghost Zone for the first time. The air was brimming with power, it wasn't as powerful as the ghost zone but it was still very strong.
She was so distracted by the power in the air that she didn't hear the old man walk up behind her.
"Good afternoon Miss. Potter." A creepy raspy voice said from right behind her, making her turn around and punch the person in the guts before kicking him away.
She froze when she realized she had just attacked an old man, probably the owner of the store. "Oh my god, Oh god I am so sorry!" She rushed over and checked on him.
It wasn't all her fault, who the hell sneaks up on people like that and doesn't expect to be hit by at least a few people?
