Ghirahim pulled out his rapier from the strange creature's skull. He looked at the black blood that coated his blade. He shook it off deciding that it didn't look appetizing. "Are you okay?" Link asked from behind the noble.

Ghirahim turned to Link, "I've had worse. We need to find Rahzel." He ran his fingers over the most serious of his wounds and they closed as he touched them. Ghirahim stopped his healing suddenly, looking up from his work. Rahzel's presence split. This development was definitely unexpected. "Fi, are you sensing the same thing?" Ghirahim asked.

He heard the chimes that he associated with Fi. "I do. Perhaps this split is because Rahzel somehow escaped Fierce Deity; when Link and I searched for Zelda the same occurrence happened," the sword maiden suggested. The other sword spirit frowned in thought; it could be possible.

"Whoever it is, one of those signals is coming closer," Ghirahim said pulling out his rapier in preparation for whatever would appear.

"The source of this signal would intersect our path in 60 seconds," Fi stated and then proceeded to countdown.

As she passed the number 40, a new voice interrupted. "Ghirahim, are you here?"

Ghirahim laughed in relief all the anger he felt earlier had melted away as he recognized Rahzel's voice. "Here," he called out and immediately Rahzel walked into view. She looked so relieved to see him. The albino ran and collided with Ghirahim with a solid thump. Ghirahim was going to turn back into his demon lord form, but with Rahzel gripping him tightly he didn't have a lot of space to do so. "Rahzel," he said softly, but was interrupted when she passionately kissed him.

Now Ghirahim knew that something was wrong. Yes, he knew Rahzel loved him with all her heart, but she would never show this much affection in front of others and even less when he was in his sword-spirit form. Ghirahim tried not to crush the woman with his metal-reinforced arms and tried not to slice through her lips with his sharpened fangs.

The woman did split from him after an uncomfortable cough from Link. Ghirahim saw the woman quickly gave Link a look that could kill if looks could. This set off another red flag; Ghirahim knew that the woman was getting over her dislike for the hero and so this reaction seemed out of place. Making a quick decision, Ghirahim snapped his fingers to create a pair of golden shackles around the woman's wrists. Rahzel looked down at her bound wrists before giving him a sly grin. "Oh, so we're playing this game now," she said putting up her bound hands.

"What did you do with Rahzel?" Ghirahim asked the strange woman in front of him, ignoring the previous statement.

"What are you talking about, Ghirahim?" Link asked looking between the two.

"Something's not right here," Ghirahim said, looking at Rahzel again. He inspected her trying to see any detail that didn't match, but she seemed just like normal.

"Ghira, don't you recognize your own wife?" Rahzel asked more amused than upset.

Ghirahim frowned; she did look exactly like Rahzel, but something kept nagging in the back of his mind. Something was wrong, but he couldn't figure it out. At last he sighed, "I guess you're right." He snapped his fingers and the shackles disappeared in diamonds. "I'm sorry, Rahzel," he apologized.

The woman just smiled sweetly, "Don't worry. I understand." She was quiet for a moment before she spoke again. "I know the way out of the maze. When Fierce Deity took me, I saw the way out," she said red eyes flickering between Ghirahim and Link.

Link jumped onto this new revelation. "Great, then you can lead the way," the hero said excitedly. The woman's smile faded slightly at the sound of the hero's voice and a fake smile appeared when she said that she could lead them.

The woman started down a green corridor and Link followed after her. Fi floated slowly behind with Ghirahim. "Something is troubling you," Fi stated rather than asked.

"Yes, Rahzel is acting strange," Ghirahim said, narrowing his eyes as he thought.

"I do not sense any difference in her behavior, but you do know her better than I," Fi said. The blue woman looked forward to the two Hylians. "Perhaps, if we find the second source of Rahzel's dousing signal, we can determine what is wrong."

Ghirahim just nodded his agreement as he continued after the Hylians. Rahzel turned around to face him and give him a smile. He returned the gesture.

LOZ-LOZ-LOZ

Even after the several hours of remaining submerged in this odd spirit form, Rahzel could feel the panic that resulted from the water. She ran her fingers over the glassy surface of the water. "You've been oddly quiet," Fierce Deity said from an unseen position. "Do you fear the inevitable?" he taunted still from his unseen position.

"For one whatever you plan, we can stop it. Second I do not fear you," Rahzel growled.

She could hear the man laugh. "You three can barely work together. None of you can stop me," Fierce Deity bragged.

"Then why did you bother to separate us," Rahzel asked smugly.

"I think it's important for me to note that your life is a privilege that I'm giving you. I don't need to listen to your grating voice," came the reply.

Rahzel fell silent. She could feel the honesty behind the threat. "What will Majora do once she's released?" Rahzel asked in a small voice.

"She'll cleanse the world of all the filth her sisters created," Fierce Deity said almost dreamingly. "What a wonderful day that would be. The world could start anew." He sighed longingly.

"So she would destroy even you," Rahzel said.

"You don't know her," Fierce Deity said fiercely. "We're done speaking. Don't worry you'll have company soon enough."
