Chapter 23: Perverts and Running
"Granted, I thought I was going to die, but thanks to that, I've become stronger mentally."
~Haruno Sakura~
Bobby sighed, annoyed. He had been trying to get Jiraiya to train him some, but all the man wanted to do was 'research'. It angered Bobby to no end.
Staring at the sky, he wondered when the man was going to actually teach him something. When he looked down again, a girl was in front of him. She had blonde hair, freckles, and green eyes. She was also strangely short.
"Mastery of the basics first, Bobby. If you don't get those down, you'll suck at everything after that. If you can truly master the basics, everything else will be easier. Nothing will be out of your grasp then," the girl explained, smiling at him.
Bobby blinked, and then he was back at the hot springs. What the hell was that?
He also noticed that Jiraiya had mysteriously disappeared too, which worried him. He had only looked away for a couple of seconds, or at least he thought he had. How long had that waking dream lasted? And why do I feel as though someone is watching me?
He shook his head, and decided that the hot springs were exactly what he needed. He needed to relax if he was getting so caught up in daydreams.
After changing into a towel, he entered the hot springs, raising his eyebrows with surprise when he saw Daichi water walking. He wasn't wearing a towel and was flashing everyone.
"Hey, where's Jiraiya? He disappeared on me when I was about to ask for training," Bobby explained.
Daichi glanced up at him and fell through the water. He glared at Bobby and silently got back on the water, sat down in a meditative position, turned his back and closed his eyes. He was ignoring Bobby.
"Hey! Don't be like that," Bobby complained.
When the boy continued to ignore him, Bobby splashed water on him. The boy hit the water, his eyes snapping open as he snarled.
Before he knew, Bobby was across the room. That little asshole punched me!
The Jinchuuriki marched out of the room, annoyed. Bobby glared at where he had been, muttering rude things under his breath until he remembered that he had come to the hot springs to relax.
I can get training later…

"You got a black eye from a little kid? Well, I suppose he is Tsunade's student," Jiraiya muttered, though he was smirking.
"It's not like you don't get beat up by a girl every day," Bobby retorted, glaring at him. His blindfold was sadly not large enough to cover the growing bruise from where the younger boy had hit him.
"That's different!" Jiraiya snapped, glaring at the child. "She has super strength, and she's the scariest woman I've ever seen!"
The blindfolded boy just snickered, and said nothing of what the older man had said. "Yesterday, you disappeared. Where'd ya go?"
"Kids these days. They just can't keep well enough alone," Jiraiya muttered, his eyes towards the sky.
"Just answer the question," he said, rolling his eyes.
"I went to gather information. Not like the research I do for my books. You see, I'm a spy," the sage whispered, winking at the boy.
Bobby raised his eyebrows, not believing him. "Uh-huh. And I'm Senju Hashirama."
"I'm actually serious! These days, kids also don't have any respect for their elders…" the white haired man snapped at him.
"Okay, if you're serious, what'd you find out?" Bobby asked, truly curious.
"Sightings of various missing ninjas, especially those in the Akatsuki. Remember, those guys in the weird cloaks?" Jiraiya said.
"Yeah, I remember. Tsunade was awesome in that fight!" Bobby exclaimed.
"Yeah, she sure was," Jiraiya stated, smiling. "I also received a message from Konoha. Seems like we'll have to go there for the Chunin Exams, and fast. Some poor girl received a curse mark and they need me to seal it. Or try to. The thing's almost impossible to seal."
"What's a curse mark?" Bobby asked, puzzled. Whatever it is, it can't be good, considering it's called a 'curse mark'.
Jiraiya sighed. "A seal created by Orochimaru. I haven't figured out how to undo it or how to even stop some of the effects. I can lessen them, but the seal breaks quickly and I have to come up with another, even more complicated one."
"That's horrible," Bobby murmured, eyes wide. That poor girl… I can't even imagine…
"Oh, yeah! I gotta go! You can go convince Tsunade to go to Konoha without me! Bye!" Jiraiya yelled as he ran out the hotel door and down the hallway.
"Hey! Get back here!" Bobby shouted.
"What the hell's going on?" demanded a very pissed off and hung over blonde.
"Um-" Bobby started.
"Come on, tell her," giggled Daichi, who was hiding behind Tsunade.
The mess that came out of Bobby's mouth after that was so fast and jumbled that the two had no idea what he said.
"Slower, and clearly, Bobby," Tsunade instructed, smirking.
"Jiraiya wanted me to tell you that we have to go to Konoha?" Bobby said, leaning as far back as he could as he said his statement that sounded like a question.
"Where the hell is he?!" she snarled.
"I- I don't know!" Bobby stuttered, terrified.
"Then get to running!" the busty woman snapped. "I'll give you five seconds before I go after you!"
Bobby ran for his life, and after waiting only three seconds, the pig tailed woman raced after him.
"I knew I should have gotten popcorn," Daichi muttered, watching the show with delight and chasing after them to continue watching.
"Poor Bobby," Sakura said, leaning out the window and watching.
Shizune, watching from the girl's shoulder along with Akira, said, "Yeah, poor Bobby is right."
Question: If the Three Sannin ever were to fight to the death, who do you think you win?
My answer: I think Tsunade would because she could heal herself and the other two wouldn't have that advantage.
