A/N So once again the chapter came out way later then I hoped. Sorry about that. School has been hell. Between last semester's finals and stress over break, I just couldn't find the time. My new semester just started 5 weeks ago and I've already had one test two quizzes and a Calculus test coming up this week.
So anyway, this chapter kinda took a different turn than I had originally planned. Regardless, I'm happy with how it turned out. I hope you guys enjoy

POV Narrator
After meeting up at Junes, the two matchmakers decided to follow their friends and make sure that everything went according to plan. Thus the two were currently crouched behind a bush, watching the scene unfold. Unfortunately, they couldn't quite hear what was happening…
"Damn, why does this bush have to be so far away?" Yosuke said in an annoyed tone.
"Shush! Keep quiet or they'll hear us!" The idol bit back in a hushed voice.
"Hold on, I hear something!"
"Naoto, I love you, and I always will." The two teens overheard the silver-haired man say. Their eyes widened and they both let out barely audible gasps. Rise and Yosuke watched as the other two teens embraced, anxiously awaiting the detective's response. Time seemed to slow down as Yu and Naoto held the embrace. Finally, the detective broke the embrace and said timidly, "S-Senpai… I-I love you, too."
At that moment, Yosuke and Rise jumped out from their hiding place and ran over to congratulate their friends. The two moved without thinking, not noticing the annoyed expressions they received from Yu and Naoto. The latter two shared a knowing look as they realized their friends' elaborate scheme.
"You two planned for this, didn't you?" The silver haired teen's piercing gaze caused the two meddling teens to go silent. They shifted uncomfortably, trying desperately to find a way out of their predicament.
"S-Sorry… We kinda ruined the moment, didn't we…?" Yosuke replied apologetically, taking a few steps back and averting his eyes.
"Yeah…kinda." His tone made both teens flinch.
"Sorry! We really didn't mean too! S-So we'll just be going now…" The two said as they ran off at full speed, desperate to escape the wrath of the angry silverette.
"Hey! Get back here!" Yu yelled as he prepared to run after them. He was stopped by Naoto, who shook her head and said in a calm voice, "We can get back at them tomorrow." Yu smiled at his girlfriend, holding her for a while longer, as they watched the sun setting on the horizon. They broke the embrace as the sky turned dark and the moon and stars lit up the sky. The silver-haired man offered the blue-haired detective his hand, which she readily took in her own. Their journey would be long and difficult, but they would face it together.
7 Years Later…
A young couple stood together on the hill overlooking the small town of Inaba. At that place, filled with fond memories, they stood hand-in-hand once again. At that place, Yu Narukami and Naoto Shirogane took a vow of marriage.
Their long journey had only just began…
A/N So that was an interesting ending, huh? I had not planned for them to get married at the end originally. Also I had not planned to have the Meddlesome Matchmakers spy on them. Tell me what you thought of this. I'd love to hear from some of you since I know that SO MANY PEOPLE JUST DON'T LEAVE REVIEWS IT MAKES ME WONDER WHETHER ANYONE IS ACTUALLY READING THIS.
I know the end is kinda a cliffhanger...BUT that is because I want to know if anyone wants me to make a sequel-ish thing for this story. If you do, LEAVE A REVIEW OR A PM OR SOMETHING.
The last line was taken from the song Kawaita Sakebi, the opening from Yu-Gi-Oh season zero. The last line of the song means "This journey continues" so I decided to make the last line of the story something similar.
Yeah, well...that's about it. Leave a review telling me what you think of the ending and if you want a sequel-ish thing. Thanks for reading and special thanks for reviewing. Arigatou Gozaimasu! XD
