Here's the last one! This chapter will be the last of the route, so I hope you enjoy! I'm stuck waiting it out at the ceremony, but when it looks like Ulrich has won, I'm scared half to death! What happened to Sieg?!
"Until Sieg returns, I'll protect you with my life. That's the one thing I can do for him right now." Hans says.
"Thanks, Hans; I'll watch the ceremony and trust Sieg." I say.
He gives me a smile and then glances out the window.
"It's dawn. The ceremony will be starting soon." Hans tells me.
Here goes nothing…
He brings me out to the hall where the ceremony will be held, and it's overflowing with nobles, ordinary citizens, reporters, cameras, everything.
"The ceremony will be starting soon." Hans informs me.
"Yes…" I say, about to keep quiet.
Hans and I are with the citizens, keeping an eye out on the situation. Sieg isn't here… Not Ulrich either… Oh, dear gosh, I hope he wasn't caught?!
"It's okay, Carly. He'll definitely…" Hans says, implying to me Sieg will be okay.
"You're right…" I say.
There's a round of applause and then the King starts his opening speech.
"I am very happy to be celebrating the commemoration of the founding of our beloved DresVan together with all of you." The King begins.
Sheesh. I'm not sure how the people are going to react seeing the King in this state, but he's acting pretty normal.
"You all contribute to our country's prosperity. My one wish is that we can continue this era of peace forever. But I can't make that a reality with just a wish. I must meet the expectations of my citizens. So I have decided to place someone that can accomplish this to the center of politics. I wanted to take this opportunity to announce to you…" The King continues, and now a buzz is spreading through the crowd. Now I'm worried. "My appointment of Urlcih as the next Chief Cabinet Secretary!"
SAY WHAT NOW?!
Ulrich appears on stage amongst all the cheering, clapping, and commotion.
"That cockroach…" I begin, clenching my fist. "Hans, I…"
"Miss Carly…" Hans says.
I can't believe this… If Ulrich can stand on that stage… That means Sieg…
However, just as I'm about to start fearing the worst, and Hans has his jaw clenched… That cockroach starts speaking.
"It is a great honor for me to receive this prestigious position. In taking on this job, I promise to strive towards a greater prosperity, and improvements in the lives of all citizens. Please trust in me. And lend me your power!" Ulrich says.
The drama of the speech moves the crowd and they start applauding and it gets even louder.
If this is a nightmare, PLEASE let me wake up, and I mean NOW!
"It's Prince Sieg!" "Prince Sieg's here!"
Hearing those words, I snap out of my anxiety and then I look to see Sieg coming towards the stage.
"Sieg!" I say, with delight. Oh, sheesh, he had me worried.
He's leading Benno, who has his hands bound with rope.
"Prince… Sieg." Ulrich says, his face contorting.
'Oh, he's SO busted…' I think, and then snicker a bit.
"Ladies and gentleman, I'm very sorry to disturb this holy commemoration ceremony, but there's an accusation I have to make," Sieg says, and then he yanks Benno forward. "This man tried to perpetrate a terrorist act towards the King. And he was commanded to do so by Ulrich!"
The crowd then goes nuts.
"And on what proof are you basing this accusation?" Ulrich asks, playing a defense card.
"Benno here confessed everything," Sieg continues. "That he was ordered by Ulrich to open fire on the ceremony. And… that he received this from you."
Sieg holds up the paper bag he's holding, and out drops a gun.
Ulrich flinches, and then he stammers, "T-This is a false accusation! The prince is crazy!"
Nice trump card move, Sieg.
Ulrich is appealing desperately, but there are confused gazes looking straight at him.
"The King has already been mentally assaulted by Ulrich," Sieg continues. "He would be able to inflict lethal psychological damage on the King by convincing him it was an act of terror! And after becoming Chief Cabinet Secretary, he'd have in his grasp all the necessary tools to bend this kingdom to his will."
Game, set, and match! Ulrich is done.
And now there's a big fuss in the hall and it's turning into rowdy accusations at Ulrich. I join in, chanting 'cockroach' over and over again. I may have a heart of gold, but when I'm angry, I can be quite malicious.
"Please, believe me… I wouldn't…" Ulrich begins, but now there are soldiers moving in to surround him.
"Arghhhh!" Ulrich hollers, and then he snatches one of the swords from the soldiers and then points it at Sieg.
Okay, now this is going to get ugly…
"Does House Lieben mean to thwart the ambitions of House Bosch yet again?!" Ulrich says, angry.
He's still playing that card? He's too hung up on the past. Sheesh…
The solders draw their weapons, but Sieg holds them back.
"Ulrich, if I win this duel, then you will admit everything and let the King awaken." Sieg states.
"Hahaha… That's an interesting idea." Ulrich replies.
I can assume that means he agrees. I guess he's too confident to think he'll lose. Seriously, this guy needs his brain checked…
Sieg and Ulrich face each other, and then they cross their blades.
I naturally root for Sieg. The sounds of the swords clashing is echoing through the hall and the tension is getting higher and thicker. Naturally, I'm getting nervous.
Prince Sieg gets overwhelmed one minute and then he's pushing back in a matter of seconds.
"I've finally climbed this far, and now you… How can you understand my pain?!" Ulrich shouts at Sieg. "You, who were born a prince and grew up without every experiencing discomfort…"
I actually think that's not a well-based statement. I'm sure Sieg and his friends have all had trouble.
"Even if that's the case, what will destroying this country achieve? Your family back in Swili doesn't want this." Sieg says.
"Shut up!" Ulrich shouts, before thrusting his sword, and it grazes Sieg's thigh.
"Ugh…" Sieg groans.
"Prepare to die, Prince Sieg!" Ulrich declares.
He springs at Sieg, but while Sieg has lost his balance, the sword he has deflects Ulrich's; it flies out of Ulrich's hand and lands on the stage, shaking.
Sieg holds his sword close to Ulrich's throat, and he says, "You lose…"
"Ugh…" Ulrich says, admitting defeat.
The hall is swept up in cheers, and I'm joining in on the happiness.
"Sieg!" I call to him, as we're back in the castle.
"Carly…" Sieg says to me.
"Is your leg okay?" I ask him, looking at his leg.
"Yeah, this is nothing." Sieg tells me.
"That's relieving…" I say, whipping sweat from my brow.
"Sorry for making you worry. Were you okay?" Sieg asks me.
"Hans his me in his room." I told him.
It's nice to see that he worries about me even at a time like this.
"I thought my heart would stop. I lost sight of you, and then when it seemed like Ulrich had won… If I lost you, I don't know what I would do…" I say, looking down.
He lifts up my chin and says, "Are you crying?"
"Keep your eyes away…" I say.
"Pfft… you look terrible." Sieg says, with a laugh.
"Hey! Why do you think I say not to look?" I say.
"Saying that just makes me want to look more." Sieg tells me.
His face starts drawing closer. His warmth is toughing my wet cheek; I can feel it.
"Heh…" He says, while giving me a loving look. He slowly moves closer to me. Just as I'm about to close my eyes in prep for his lips to catch mine…
"Hey, cut it out." I hear someone whisper; it's coming from behind us.
"It's fine, they're just getting to the best part." Someone else says.
"That's why I said cut it out." The first voice says.
Wait a second… I know those voices…
Sieg's hands then pull away, and he says, "Hey, you guys."
"Oh, are we busted?" Oliver asks.
"I told you…" Hayden says.
I see Prince Oliver come out from beneath a pillar's shadow, and Prince Hayden is standing there, looking a little peeved.
"Don't tell me you two were watching us…" I say, slapping myself in the face.
"You guys are toooo cute! I didn't know how the ceremony was gonna pan out." Oliver says.
"You were at the ceremony?" Sieg asks.
"We slipping into the hall with the general citizens." Hayden explained.
"We were on standby in case anything happened to you… and we could gallantly reveal ourselves and save the day." Oliver says.
"It sounds stupid when you say it." Hayden says.
I concur.
"But then you went and beat him splendidly yourself! We weren't needed, so we thought we'd check in on you and then head home." Oliver explains.
"So you decided to find the best possible time to interrupt?" Sieg inquires, grouchy.
However, he then smiles, relieved, and says, "Sorry for making you guys worry about me."
"You okay where he stabbed you?" Hayden asks.
"Yeah, it's nothing serious." Sieg says.
"Well, thank goodness for that. And Carly's fine, too," Oliver says. "Once you're better, we'll throw a party for you."
"Yeah." Hayden says, in agreement. "There's still a lot for you do before that, though."
Prince Hayden looks over in another direction and his expression hardens.
We look in the same direction, and there's Ulrich being taken away by the guards.
"Yeah… that's okay. It'll be over soon." Sieg says.
"I can't believe the King was being controlled like that…" "It's an unprecedented scandal!" "But we have to take responsibility too…" "Ulrich and the Bosch family bust be punished severely!"
There's an emergency meeting of aristocrats and politicians being held, and everyone is agitated, and raising their voices. I myself an a little annoyed. Yes, I'm there, too, because I helped unveil Ulrich's plot. Everyone's getting confused, but I'm sorely tempted to speak up.
That cockroach, Ulrich, is slumped in the corner of the room, and the soldiers guard him.
Sieg opens his mouth, and he says, "Everyone, please calm down. It's unfortunate that this situation came to be, but we can't just sit here and moan about it. If we all work together in this time of trouble, we can overcome it."
"We know that, Sieg. But what exactly should we do?" One politician asks.
"I ask that you leave it to me to put things right." Sieg says.
"Leave it to you?" The same politician asks.
"Yes. Right now, the King's mental state is fragile. I want to take responsibility as Prince to resolve this situation." Sieg explains.
"How do you intend to punish Ulrich?" An aristocrat asks. "Of course he will be punished, but shouldn't his family also be banished? We need to ensure that nothing like this happens again."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Exiling them further will just backfire! During the fight, Sieg says that the rest of the Bosch family back in Swili didn't want what Ulrich was doing." I say, in argument.
"Miss Carly is right…" Another politician says, agreeing with me.
"Ulrich will be suitably punished, but his family will be exempt. I would prefer to support them." Sieg says.
"What?" The same aristocrat asks.
"This all came to be because the Bosch family lives in squalor. I went to see where they live, and it's a hard existence. They live in isolation, only because of their ancestors' past crimes. It was bad enough o produce someone like Ulrich. It's time for them to live a life like the rest of our citizens." Sieg says.
"I don't need pity! Especially not from you…" Ulrich shouts.
"Oh, shut up, you cockroach!" I say.
"I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it for the Bosch children." Sieg says.
Ulrich then goes quiet.
"Ulrich… think about what you've done, and make amends for your crime. Do it for your family back in Swili." Sieg says.
"I've hated the royal family since I was a child, and I risked everything to crush them." Ulrich says, a tear rolling down his face.
"Idiot, we know that much. We talked to Uwe." I say.
"Next time, use that misguided passion or the right cause." Sieg says.
Ulrich then shuts up as his shoulders slump.
Once the meeting is over, Sieg and I go and check in on the King. He's finally regained himself, but we see him turn a dazed, but kind gaze on Sieg.
"Sieg…" His Majesty says, as we come into the chamber.
"How are you feeling, Your Highness…?" Sieg asks.
"I'm fine… come closer," The King asks, and then Sieg steps up. "I was brainwashed by Ulrich… I remember saying horrible things to both of you. At the time, I thought it was the right thing. I'm sorry…"
"Your Majesty…" I say, feeling a bit relieved that he's come to.
"I wanted to become a great King, surpassing my predecessors. But there were things that weren't going well, and I grew impatient. That's when Ulrich took advantage of me…" The King says, explaining himself.
"Your Highness… it will take time for you to return to your usual self. For now, please keep calm and don't think too much about it." Sieg says.
The King takes Sieg's hand and says, "Sieg, until I return, I leave the kingdom in your hands."
"Are you sure…?" Sieg asks.
"You did a great thing for this country. You exposed Ulrich's plan and set the nation back on the right path. If it weren't for you, I'd have committed a grave mistake. Thanks to you, DresVan is safe. Thank you," The King says, and then he puts his other hand on Sieg's head. "Sieg… you've really grown into a strong young man."
I can see that the King is looking at Sieg not just as a King, but also as a father.
"Your Highness… I was able to become strong thanks to Carly," Sieg says, and then he brings ME into the conversation. "If it weren't for her, I couldn't have changed. I probably would've given up, thinking that I was no more than my title. The fact that she acknowledged me not as a prince, but as a person gave me courage."
"Is that so…" The King says, and then he turns to me. "Thank you, Carly."
"I didn't do much, other than stick by him…" I say, a little embarrassed.
"Your highness, from now on… I want to be with Carly. I want to stay by her side, and protect her… Eventually, I would like to welcome her into this country… Will you accept that?" Sieg says.
I get anxious at this; Sieg, why…?!
"Sieg… Yes, of course… Protect this country, together with her! You can achieve the things that I could not. You will lead this country on to even greater things." The King says, with a big smile.
"Thank you." Sieg says.
"Carly." The King says, prompting to me.
"Y-Yes?" I ask, getting a little nervous.
"Please continue to support Sieg." The King smiles and then he holds out a hand to me.
"Your Majesty…" I say, squeezing his hand back.
"What a nice breeze…" I say.
"Yeah." Sieg says.
Once we're finished with our meeting with the King, Sieg and I are out on the balcony in the evening winds.
"Sheesh… It's hard to believe we're here in this situation; we were just in the bushes yesterday." I say.
"Haha, yeah," Sieg says; he smiles happily and puts an arm around my shoulders. "Can I tell you again… what I said earlier?"
"Er…?" I begin, not sure what he was saying.
"What I said in front of the King, but I also want to say it right this time." Sieg informs me.
"What you…" I say, but then my face goes completely red.
However, his eyes are bearing into mine so earnestly, and my heartbeat quickens. However, his face relaxes in the next second.
"Pfft. Your face is so tense." Sieg says, grinning at me; is he enjoying himself?
I turn my face away by instinct, and it's a little embarrassing. However, Sieg brings his face closer to mine, and peers into my face.
"Keep your distance…" I say, very nervous.
"Then face me." Sieg orders.
"You really find me too amusing for my own good." I say, a little ticked.
"I can't help it," Sieg says. "It's cause you're cute."
However, I can't be surprised too long, because right at that moment, Sieg's lips are covering mine. However, his kiss is no more than a slight touch before pulling away.
"It's okay to do this now that everything's all over, right?" Sieg asks me.
I don't respond, as I'm blushing, but he keeps looking at my reaction, and he's amused.
"Are you so pleased you've lost your tongue?" Sieg asks me.
"That came out of nowhere…" I say, in defense.
"Well… this time, prepare yourself." Sieg says, before slowly kissing me once more.
This time, it's longer and more passionate between us.
"Mm…" I moan, while spacing out in happiness.
"Carly…" Sieg mutters, pulling away reluctantly. His eyes are shinning at he gives me a loving gaze. "I want to continue enjoying this, but… There's somewhere I need to take you."
"Wha? Where?" I ask him, but he takes my hand and he begins walking off.
"We're going out." Sieg says, as he brings me to the usual luxury car that we normally take.
I get in the passenger's seat, while Sieg is behind the wheel.
"You're the one driving?" I ask him.
"What, you thought I didn't know how?" Sieg asks me.
"Don't be an idiot; you usually leave it to someone else, like Hans." I say.
"I don't want to impose on anyone tonight." Sieg says.
I don't understand why, but I decide to go with it instead.
"So, you're not going to give me any details about our destination?" I ask him.
"Nope, it's a surprise." Sieg says to me.
"What? Here?" I ask, as he brings me to a forested area.
"Yeah." Sieg replies.
This doesn't seem too special; just your typical forest to me… But I decide not to doubt him.
"Give me your hand. We're gonna walk for a bit." Sieg tells me.
Before I can respond, he takes my hand and leads me into the woods.
"Are you doing okay?" Sieg asks me.
"I'm fine; we almost there?" I ask him.
We're suddenly at the view, and it's the summit.
"Sit down there." Sieg tells me.
"Um, sure…" I say, but while I'm curious as to why, I do as told and sit down next to him.
"Are you cold?" Sieg asks me.
"No, I'm okay…" I ask, but before I can finish my sentence, Sieg has me in his arms.
I can hear his heart pounding like nuts. However, it's so comforting that I end up closing my eyes, feeling relaxed. I feel really safe in his arms, almost as if it was like my own parents' house. Sieg taps me on the back after a few minutes.
"Hey, it's time." Sieg says, and then I look up.
"Gasp…" I say, turning around, and seeing the morning sun peeking over the mountaintop. It's beautiful. "It's stunning…"
The haze slowly clears, and it's a beautiful scene, as the dew is sparkling in the light of the sun.
"Diamonds…" Sieg says.
"Excuse me?" I ask him.
"This scene is transient, something no one can grasp in their hand. People say its like diamonds. My grandparents showed me this place when I was a child. They said I should come here when I found that special someone…" Sieg says to me.
Those words repeat in my brain and I'm blushing, because he's talking about me.
"If you do this…" Sieg says, taking my hand, and holds it up so the sun balances on my fingers. "It looks like a diamond ring."
~Sieg's POV~
I'm about to do it… Pop the question… I just hope all goes well.
"It really does…" Carly says.
"I wanted to show you this…" I tell her, before pulling her hand towards me, and I kiss her ringer finger to try calming myself down. "I know that I want to walk forward with you from now, and forever. I want to welcome you… to DresVan."
Carly nearly gasps, and now that I've gotten the mood right, I say it, "Carly… will you marry me?"
It's a few seconds, but they're so tense that my heart is constricting.
"Yes," She tells me. "I… want to be at your side for the rest of my life, as well."
Feeling relieved, I pull her into my arms, and squeeze her tightly.
"Sieg? You okay?" She asks me.
"N-Nothing…" I tell her.
She must have noticed I was nervous.
"Hehe." Sieg says.
"What's the problem?" I ask her.
"It's nothing to worry about." She says.
She looks up at me, but I turn my eyes away in embarrassment. She keeps smiling and I say, "Don't grin like that."
"But I'm happy." She says.
"You…" I begin, and then I bring her head closer to me and kiss her.
"Sieg…" Carly says.
"You provoked me." I say.
"Hey, I did no such thing." She says.
"Thinking I'm cute counts as provoking." I tell Carly.
"Hey…" Carly begins, a little annoyed.
I pay her on her head, and then tell her, "One other thing my grandfather taught me…"
"What is it?" She asks.
"If two people climb up here and watch the sun rise together, they'll have eternal bliss. No matter what troubles befall them, they'll be a strong enough couple to overcome it," I tell her. "This is why I wanted to ask you here."
"Sieg… Thank you so much." Carly says.
I pull her closer to me and we lock our fingers, before watching the sun.
~End of Sieg's POV~
This is so nerve-wracking… I can't believe I'm doing this…
It's been a week since Sieg's proposed, and we made our promise under the morning sun. I'm at DresVan Manor right now, and I'm looking at myself in the mirror of a dressing room.
I see myself wearing a pink ball gown that Sieg chose for me, and what can I say? It looks nice on me.
"There's no need to be nervous, it looks great on you." Hans says to me, trying to make me feel a little better.
"Thanks…" I say, trying to absorb the nice words that he gave me.
"I n-never thought this day w-would come…" Hans says, about to get emotional again.
As he breaks down in tears, a voice calls from the threshold of the door.
"Hey," Sieg says, from the doorway. "Who said you get to see Carly in her dress before me?"
"Sieg." I say, with a smile on my face.
"I-I'm sorry! I thought I was supposed to bring Carly to you…" Hans says.
"You were, but then I decided I'd take her myself." Sieg says, and then he begins gazing at me in my dress.
"Well… Does it suit me?" I ask, feeling a little anxious.
"Well, considering I chose it, there's no way it wouldn't suit you. The size is perfect, too." Sieg tells me.
"S-Sieg…" Hans says, a little embarrassed.
"Hey, don't tease me when I'm a bundle of nerves, please?" I say, shaking.
"Haha, you can't be that nervous if you're still so assertive," Sieg says, before giving me a tender gaze. "It suits you."
I end up blushing again and then he holds my hand before grasping it tightly.
"Let's get going." Sieg says.
I nod in reply.
Once again, we're in the same hall as earlier. The whole placed is packed with reporters. With our hands intertwined, we climb up to the stage, and the flashes from the cameras are so bright that I can hardly see thing.
"That girl is…!" "The one from the scandal…?"
Now there are agitated shouts amongst the cheers for Prince Sieg. As for me, I'm not exactly getting a good vibe from everyone else.
"All you have to do is smile." Sieg tells me.
I nod in understanding.
Sieg turns to face the audience and he started to speak.
"The recent events threatened the existence of this royal family. But in resolving the situation, I have gained a strength and self-awareness as the successor to the throne," Sieg says, drawing everyone's eyes in. "And it was due to my meeting a certain person and their support. I have gathered you here today to introduce her to you… This is Carly."
He takes my hand and pulls me closer to him. It makes me feel a bit better about this situation.
"She is the most important woman in the world to me. Her light and her strength have changed me. From now own, we will lead this country together. We will be getting married." Sieg announces.
The hall is silent in response to this announcement, but people start clapping one by one until the applause and cheers are roaring through the whole hall.
I'm relieved, and I'm fighting back tears as I look up to Sieg. He smiles back at me, flashing his white teeth at me.
"Carly!" "Carly! Look this way!" "Tell us about your intentions as the prince's partner!" "Are you happy?"
"I'm happier than I've ever been in my whole life…" I say. "I'm going to keep backing up Prince Sieg."
Later that night, we're having a party that's taking the place of the ruined commemoration ceremony.
"Give me your hand." Sieg says.
I nod and put my hand in his; everyone's eyes are on us, as I begin dancing with Prince Sieg. I'm not really annoyed or bothered by such things anymore.
"I never thought I'd be dancing with you like this again." Sieg says to me.
I remember the first dance we shared in Nobel Michel, and then later at the party on that boat.
"I never even thought that we'd end up engaged." I admit.
"And yet, I knew that I'd make you mine." Sieg tells me.
"I beg your pardon?" I ask him; that was out of nowhere.
"Once I know what I want, there's no way I'm gonna back down." Sieg says.
"Isn't that a load of confidence?" I say, a little annoyed.
"Well, I'm a prince, aren't I?" Sieg tells me.
"But… When did you start…?" I begin, trying to ask him when he first started to be sweet on me.
"Since the first time I met you…" Sieg says.
"You mean… when you helped me deliver flour to the palace?" I ask.
"Yeah." SIeg informs me.
"Now hold on… You looked at me and laughed, or have you forgotten that?" I ask him.
"Cause you were making a funny face." Sieg tells me.
I shake my head and groan a bit.
"But you were honest and earnest… I wanted to get to know you more. Now that I think back on it, I've been attracted to you ever since then…" Sieg admits.
Now that I think about it, I remember Oliver and the others kidding around about Sieg falling in love at first sight. I guess it wasn't a joke…
"Choosing you as a potential bride, the marriage interview… It's why I did all that," Sieg tells me. "But as for you… you probably thought I was a cockroach…"
"Sorry… I'm sure that mean stuff wasn't the only things I said, right?" I ask him.
"It was another way of expressing love. At least acknowledge that." Sieg says to me.
Sounds pretty crazy to me. But I end up laughing at his way of wording things; he never changes.
"Well, whatever… it was a roundabout way of doing it," Sieg says. "And now you're here in my arms."
He wraps an arm around my waist and he lifts up my chin with his other hand, too.
"Right from the beginning, you were always gonna be my princess." Sieg says.
"Sieg…" I reply.
"I won't leave you, no matter what," Sieg promises. "Are you prepared for that?"
"Same to you." I say.
Once we finish the dance, we're still smiling at each other, but we hear someone from behind us. We see the other princes and they're all pretty happy.
"I was soooo moved at that press conference!" Oliver says.
"I can't believe you're actually welcoming an ordinary girl into your country…" Ivan says.
"I'm glad you're both happy." Kuon congratulates us.
"Seriously, congratulations." Aslan tells us.
"Thanks, and sorry for all the worry and trouble I caused you guys…" Sieg says.
"Don't worry about it. We're just glad that DresVan's safe," Hayden begins. "It all worked out, and for Carly, too."
"Thanks." I say.
"Hey, we were thinking about holding a celebratory party for the two of you…" Oliver asks. "How about after this?"
"A celebratory party…? I'll have to pass tonight," Sieg kindly turns the others down. "I want to spend some quality time with my princess."
"Sieg…" I begin, a little anxious.
Everyone else's eyes go wide and Kuon is the first to break the silence by saying, "Well, that was blunt."
"Do what you like." Ivan follows up.
"At least, let's have a toast here." Oliver asks.
"Yeah, you're right. Thanks, guys…" Sieg. "I'm truly grateful."
"To you future together." Hayden begins.
"Cheers!" We all say, as we make a toast.
We later go into Sieg's bedroom in the Manor, but now I'm getting a little tense…
Now how am I going to be able to relax in a situation like this?! All I can really hear is my own pulse and I look around the room in mild fear. I'm so apprehensive right now…
"Mind if I change clothes?" I ask Sieg.
"What, you wanna get undressed already?" Sieg asks, surprised.
"I said 'change clothes', Sieg. I just need to get into something more comfortable." I tell him.
"No." Sieg denies.
"Pardon?" I ask him.
I can see he has a mischievous grin on and then he comes over to me before putting his arms around my waist.
"Sieg?! What are you doing?!" I ask him.
"Do you know why men give clothes to women as presents?" He asks me.
I immediately go red at that comment.
"Even you seem to know that much." Sieg says, as his hands are rubbing circles on my back.
"Sieg! Please! Hang on!" I begin, about to push away.
"What we waiting for? You love me, right?" Sieg asks me.
"I…" I start, but then my breath catches; I'm really embarrassed to say it right now. "I'm not ready…"
"Not ready? It's a bit late now." He says to me.
I hesitate to reply, and I look down to hide the redness of my face. However, Sieg hugs me to him, and while I'm pressed against his chest, he starts quietly whispering in my ear.
"I love you… There's no one else for me but you. I only want you, for the rest of my life…" He whispers, his lips nuzzling at my ear. My heart melts at this. "I love you, Carly."
I feel my knees getting weak, as I keep hearing his husky voice against my ears.
"Is that enough for you…?" He asks me, but I can't seem to speak. I merely nod with hesitation.
"Your turn next." He says to me.
"Eh?" I ask.
"You haven't said you love me yet, have you?" He inquires.
He's right.
However, his gaze is so earnest that I can't say it. How can I talk when he's staring at me like that?
"You've got three seconds." Sieg tells me.
"Excuse me?" I ask.
"If you don't say it, I'll have to punish you." Sieg tells me.
"Hold on!" I begin, but…
"Three, two…" Sieg begins.
"I…" I start, but…
"One…" Sieg finishes before I can get a word out and he ends up stealing a kiss from me.
I'm breath taken and his kiss is so deep, but as we slowly pull apart, Sieg is giving me a really mischievous grin.
"Hey, you didn't give me a shot!" I ask him.
"Because you weren't fast enough." Sieg tells me.
"Hey, that's your fault!" I say to him.
However, he ends up smiling, amused. He gives me a smooch again, but this time, it's on my neck.
I end up squirming because it tickles, but Sieg is dropping kisses all over me.
"S-Sieg…" I begin.
"I can't wait any longer." Sieg tells me.
"Your leg's hurt…" I say.
"I can still do what needs to be done." Sieg says.
"Wh…" I begin, but… "Who-whoa!"
Sieg then pushes me down onto the bed, but all I can see above me is him, and that alone. I can see that his deep, blue eyes are shinning with a really odd light, and this makes me a little worried.
"Do you know how hard it's been to hold back?" Sieg asks me.
I hesitate to reply; it must be really hard for him to hold back.
"Because you're so precious to me… Tonight, I want all of you." Sieg says, gently stroking my hair with his large hands; I'm sure he's trying to comfort me.
It's very nice warmth, and I feel a lot happier. His bewitching eyes fixate me, and I slowly press my lips to his.
His sweet kisses are sending me into euphoria, and I then realize I'm clinging to his chest.
"Cute…" He tells me.
"This is humiliating." I say.
However, as I try hiding my face with my hands, Sieg grabs my wrists and kisses me everywhere. I feel his passionate heat wherever he kisses me.
I end up getting dazed and tired. Before everything turns white, I overhear him murmur, "Carly… I love you…"
"I love you, too…" I manage to say.
We end clinging to each other, as if trying to melt into one another…
"What a good sleep…" I say, waking up the next morning. However, I realize that I'm naked. I end up remembering last night and I look beside me to see Sieg sleeping like a stone.
I watch him sleep a bit, but then, out of nowhere, I find myself in an embrace.
"Sieg? Don't tell me you were awake?!" I say.
"It's rude to watch someone sleeping." Sieg tells me.
"Hey, I wasn't watching!" I say, throwing some sass. "I just…"
"Just…?" Sieg inquires to me.
How am I supposed to say that my mind was wandering to last night?
"Were you remembering last night?" Sieg asks me.
Ugh, took the words right out of my mouth. Sieg smiles tenderly and suggestively moves closer to me.
"Shall we overwrite those memories with some new ones?" Sieg requests, as he brings his lips to my throat.
"Now hold it, Sieg…" I begin, but…
We hear a knock at the door, and we hear Hans say, "Sieg, may I come in?"
"Yeah, go ahead." Sieg says.
"Hey, not now!" I protest, as I just make it to cover myself with the blankets.
Hans comes into the room and then he begins, "Sieg, today's breakfast…"
However, Hans notices the scene and says, "Argh! I'm sorry!"
He bolts out the door again and slams the door, flustered.
"For crying out loud, Sieg!" I say.
"It's fine. He's my butler." Sieg tells me.
"How is that fine?!" I protest.
"I guess you're right," Sieg laughs. "I'm the only one who can see you like this, right?"
"Wha…" I say, but he's right; I'm no match for him.
He gives me a happy smile, before softly stroking my cheek. However, we hear a voice from outside the door.
"*sniff … Sieg, Miss Carly… Would you care for some breakfast?" Hans asks.
"Is he crying?" Sieg asks.
"Looks like he's getting emotional again." I say.
"Breakfast…" Sieg begins, before thinking for a moment. "Could you make something for us today?"
"Huh?" I ask him.
"I want to eat your badly-shaped rice balls one more time." Sieg tells me.
We give each other a big smile after that.
And that's a wrap! I hope you all enjoyed it. Because I have it, just say the word and I can do Aslan's route next.
