Austin opened his eyes slowly. He rolled over in his bed to check what time it was. It was six in the morning.

I still have about three hours until I have to be up so I can go to the Team Austin meeting and I need to show up on time because Ally is still probably mad at me for being late yesterday for the fifth time in a row.

Austin closed his eyes and fell asleep.

He woke up feeling completely refreshed. He looked at the clock. It said eleven o'clock. Austin sat up and jumped out of bed. He was nearly an hour late for the meeting already. This was not good. Ally was going to kill them.

He drove to Sonic Boom as fast as he could. He hardly noticed the man who was having car troubles or the man who was standing on the edge of the bridge as he drove by. He had to get to Sonic Boom. Hopefully Ally wouldn't be too mad at him.

He almost ran into Sonic Boom when he realized something was wrong. Did I already do this?

He was snapped out of his trance by Dez who said, "You really don't want to be here right now. Trish and I nearly didn't get out of there alive."

I stared at him in disbelief. Didn't all this happen yesterday?

Dez interrupted his thoughts again with, "I suggest you let her cool down for today. She was really mad, but she said that she would talk with you after closing about something called an ultimatum which doesn't sound that bad."

Suddenly Trish came up behind him and said, "An ultimatum is a deal where someone has to do something or else."

"You told us that yesterday, Trish," Austin said, rubbing his temples.

Trish looked at him in confusion. "Austin, I was sick yesterday. That's why I didn't show up to the meeting that day."

"No," Austin argued, "you were sick two days ago."

"No, I was sick yesterday."

"Yesterday was Saturday right?"

"No," Dez said, with a look of concern. "Today is Saturday."

Suddenly it all made sense to Austin. Am I really reliving this day again?

Suddenly Austin realized something, Ally and I are still partners. I can make this right. I don't know why she decided to end it but maybe this time I will get it right.

"I am going to wait for Ally and apologize for being late again." Austin said.

"You know," Dez says, "you should still get her flowers. I mean show her that you are really sorry."

"NO!" Austin said quickly, surprising both Trish and Dez. "I mean, I always get her flowers so I need something different."

"Well," Trish said, "I work at the pickle cart. I could get you a discount on that."

"Awesome." Austin said.

The three walked over to the pickle cart. However, Austin saw a very beautiful girl who was working at the pickle cart.

"What are you doing here?" Trish asked the girl.

"Are you Trish?" The girl asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Trish asked.

"I'm Amanda, your replacement."

"My replacement, I was just on my break."

"Yeah that ended like two hours ago so I was told to fire you."

"Ehh, I hated this job anyway." Trish said walking away followed by Dez.

Austin stayed behind and started flirting with Amanda. He eventually got her number and a date with her that day at four.

He quickly found Dez and hung out with him till four. He heard that his favorite singer didn't get the award because he hadn't shown up and that some guy jumped off a bridge causing a huge chain of events that Austin didn't really pay attention to. Other than that it was a normal day. Austin had to save Nelson from Ally's anger when he showed up with yet another hobo for his oboe lesson.

After what seemed like forever, four was finally here. Austin had gone home and showered and changed before that. He stood by the pickle cart at exactly four and waited for Amanda to close up. Before she was done, he asked, "Oh before you close can I get some pickles?"

"You like pickles?" she asked.

"No, they are for a friend. She was mad at me today and has been avoiding me all day so I am buying her pickles to apologize for it."

"It's sweet that you care about your friend."

"Ready?" After he gave her the money for the pickles

"I am now."

Austin put the pickles in his left arm, held out his right arm and she looped hers with his. They went to go and see a romantic comedy. About halfway through did Austin realize that this was the same movie that he went and saw last time with Arista. They then went and had a nice dinner at a restaurant nearby. They went back to the mall because Amanda's car was still there. Austin walked with her to the pickle cart. He had told her that he was meeting his friend, whom he was apologizing to, here; otherwise he would have walked her to her car. "That's ok," she said.

Austin smiled. He then looked into Amanda's eyes and leaned in. She didn't stop him. On the contrary she leaned in too. They had only been kissing for a few seconds when he suddenly heard a very familiar voice saying his name in a very unfamiliar tone. He turned to see Ally angrily walking towards him. "AUSTIN MONICA MOON, I DO NOT AND WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU! I WANT YOU OUT OF MY LIFE COMPLETELY. YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED INTO SONIC BOOM EVER AGAIN AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WE ARE NO LONGER PARTNERS OR FRIENDS!"

Austin couldn't believe it. Somehow he had messed up and Ally was mad at him again. Ally him out of his trance by saying, "Are those pickles?"

Austin was speechless but nodded his head. She ripped them out of his hands, saying, "I still don't forgive you." As Ally walked away, Austin turned to apologize to Amanda, but she seemed to have left wanting to escape this very awkward conversation. He didn't blame her, but he felt really bad. He would apologize to Amanda tomorrow.

He took out his phone to text Dez when his phone vibrated in his hand. It was a text from Dez.

"Hey dude, I would come over and comfort you but I got sick from that ham I always keep in my backpack."

"Dude I need to talk to you."

"What's up?"

"I already knew that you ate the ham and got sick."

"Well duh, because I just told you."

"No Dez. I already lived through today."

"What do you mean?"

"You remember how I was so confused when you guys told me today was Saturday?"

"Yeah."

"It's because all that already happened to me yesterday."

"Dude you are stealing from Groundhog's day."

"No I'm serious. You remember the flowers."

"Yeah."

"The real reason I didn't want to get flowers is because last time I did I met Arista and Ally still got mad at me. So I figured I don't make the same mistake. I avoided the flower cart and went to the pickle cart instead."

"Did she take the pickles?"

"Yeah. She did but she didn't forgive me."

"Dude you're crazy."

"I'm not crazy. I'm telling you the truth."

Austin turned off his phone and went home. When Austin got home his mother told him that she got him his favorite movie, but he didn't want to watch it. It would just make him think of Ally because she and he had watched that movie together when it came out. He just went up to his room and lay in his bed. The second his head hit his pillow, he started to cry, like a baby. He doesn't know when he fell asleep but he woke up and it was nearly midnight. He lay there thinking about tomorrow, but he couldn't get what happened today out of his head. A clock downstairs began to chime twelve. Austin thought to himself, I wish I could do today all over again.

The clock struck the twelfth time.
