Austin opened his eyes slowly. He rolled over in his bed to check what time it was. It was six in the morning.

I still have about three hours until I have to be up so I can go to the Team Austin meeting and I need to show up on time because Ally is still probably mad at me for being late yesterday for the fifth time in a row.

Austin closed his eyes and fell asleep.

He woke up feeling completely refreshed. He looked at the clock. It said eleven o'clock. Austin sat up and jumped out of bed. He was nearly an hour late for the meeting already. This was not good. Ally was going to kill them.

He drove to Sonic Boom as fast as he could. He hardly noticed the man who was having car troubles or the man who was standing on the edge of the bridge as he drove by. He had to get to Sonic Boom. Hopefully Ally wouldn't be too mad at him.

He suddenly slammed on the brakes. He's doing it again. He was reliving Saturday for the third time. He knew that he would get it right this time; I mean third time's the charm, right?

He parked his car and walked into the mall looking for Dez. Dez found him and said, "Dude don't go into Sonic Boom…"

"Let me guess," Austin said. "I really don't want to be here right now. Trish and you nearly didn't get out of there alive."

"Yeah, how did you know?" Dez asked.

"I'll explain later."

"Well, I suggest you let her cool down for today." Dez started to say.

"I know, Dez," Austin said. "She was really mad, but she said that she would talk with me after closing about something called an ultimatum which doesn't sound that bad to you."

Suddenly Trish appeared and opened her mouth, but Austin said, "Dex, an ultimatum is a deal where someone has to do something or else."

"I was just about to say that exactly," Trish said.

"I know," Austin said. "Oh, by the way your break ended two hours ago at the pickle cart and you were fired and replaced by Amanda. She is waiting at the pickle cart now to tell you that."

Trish stared at Austin confused. "Ehh, I hated that job anyway." She said as she walked away.

After she was gone, Dez turned to Austin and said, "OK explain."

Austin began to explain how he was currently reliving Saturday for a second time. Not surprisingly Dez believed him without any real proof because that is what best friends are for. "So," Austin said, "I just have to avoid Arista the flower cart girl and Amanda the pickle cart girl and Ally and I will still be friends and partners."

"Well that should be easy. I mean, you…" Dez began, but Austin interrupted him by saying. "That girl over there is smoking."

Dez looked to where his friend was pointing. "She's not smoking. She obviously doesn't have a cigarette."

Austin rolled his eyes, "Not that type of smoking, I mean she is really hot."

"I guess, but you know who is even better and you're gone." Dez said as Austin went to go flirt with the hot girl.

He eventually got her number and a date with her that day at four.

He quickly found Dez and hung out with him till four. He heard that his favorite singer didn't get the award because he hadn't shown up and that some guy jumped off a bridge causing a huge chain of events that Austin didn't really pay attention to. Other than that it was a normal day. Austin had to save Nelson from Ally's anger when he showed up with yet another hobo for his oboe lesson.

After what seemed like forever, four was finally here. Austin had gone home and showered and changed before that. He then went to go meet the hot girl, whose name was Angela, at Mini's. Austin held out his arm and she looped hers with his. They went to go and see a romantic comedy. They then went and had a nice dinner at a restaurant nearby. Austin had just finished his meal when he realized that he had seen the same movie and had gone to the same restaurant, ordering the same meal again. They went back to the mall because Angela's car was still there. Austin walked with her to Mini's. He had told her that he was meeting his friend, whom he was apologizing to, here; otherwise he would have walked her to her car. "That's ok," she said.

Austin smiled. He then looked into Angela's eyes and leaned in. She didn't stop him. On the contrary she leaned in too. They had only been kissing for a few seconds when he suddenly heard a very familiar voice saying his name in a very unfamiliar tone. He turned to see Ally angrily walking towards him. "AUSTIN MONICA MOON, I DO NOT AND WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU! I WANT YOU OUT OF MY LIFE COMPLETELY. YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED INTO SONIC BOOM EVER AGAIN AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WE ARE NO LONGER PARTNERS OR FRIENDS!"

Austin just stood there in shock. He didn't even bother turning to see if Angela was there. He knows that she isn't. He can't believe that he messed up a third time. He pulled out his phone and received his text from Dez.

"Hey dude, I would come over and comfort you but I got sick from that ham I always keep in my backpack."

"Sorry, Dude, I forgot about that."

"It's cool."

"I'm going to do it again."

"Do what again."

"Do whatever it is that makes me do this day over again."

"OK but this time actually listen to me."

"You won't remember this so I'll come up with a plan tonight of what I am going to do. I'll tell you about it tomorrow after I tell you the truth. See you today lol."

Austin turned off his phone and went home. He ignored his mom when she said she got his favorite movie. He had to plan out what he was going to do tomorrow. He decided to write down everything that has happened the past three times hoping that this will show him a pattern.

After he was done he saw that he had only ten things that repeat. They are that his morning is always the same until Dez keeps him from going into Sonic Boom, all the girls he's dated have names starting with A, the news is always the same, Nelson brings a hobo instead of an oboe, has the same date, kisses the girl, Ally ends their friendship, Dez texts him, his mom gets him his favorite movie, and he wishes he could start over at exactly midnight.

None of it is helpful except for the last one. He now knows what is making him continue to do the day over. He will continue to wish this until he gets it right. He looks at the clock. It is nearly midnight. He closes his eyes and listens. A clock downstairs began to chime twelve. Austin thought to himself, I wish I could do today all over again.

The clock struck the twelfth time.
