Austin opened his eyes slowly. He rolled over in his bed to check what time it was. It was six in the morning.

I still have about three hours until I have to be up so I can go to the Team Austin meeting and I need to show up on time because Ally is still probably mad at me for being late yesterday for the fifth time in a row.

Austin closed his eyes and fell asleep.

He woke up feeling completely refreshed. He looked at the clock. It said eleven o'clock. And so it begins.

He quickly reviews what is about to happen today. He still can't figure out what to change. He decides this time he isn't going to leave the mall. He's seen that rom-com too many times as it is and that meal is suddenly unappetizing. That's of course if he decides to get a date this time.

He drives to Sonic Boom casually this time. He still ignores all the things on the side of the road and simply focuses on the task at hand. He finds Dez and says, "I know. An ultimatum is not a good thing. It's a do this or else deal."

Dez looked at him in surprise. "How did you know I was going to say that?"

Austin explained to him how this was his fourth time going through Saturday. This time though he spots Trish walking this way and says to Dez, "Here's proof. Trish got a job at the pickle cart, but she will be fired for taking a break that ended two hours ago and will be replaced by a very attractive girl named Amanda."

"Guess who got a job at the Pickle cart?" Trish said.

"You did." Austin said.

"Wow, normally Ally guesses that."

Austin winked at Dez. "Trish, you should get back to work so that Amanda can fire you for being late, not that you care you hated that job anyway."

Trish stares at Austin in surprise, but goes to the Pickle cart. She comes back five minutes later and says, "You were right, Austin. There's another girl working there who said I was fired and that she was replacing me. Not that I care I hated that job."

Austin knew that Dez was staring at him so he gave him a look that said wait until Trish is gone. Trish left to go and talk with Ally.

"Okay, I believe you."

"Good. Now my plan is simple. I am going to simply stay here and wait for Ally. If I happen to hook up with a hot girl, awesome. If not, I'll at least hopefully keep Ally from being mad at me."

"You know, Austin," Dez said. "There is an easier way to keep her from getting mad at you."

Dez looks at Austin, but Austin isn't paying attention any more. He is looking at some girl who was eating some mini fries from Mini's. He got up and walked over to her ignoring Dez who was trying to get him to listen to him. Suddenly Austin stopped and looked at Dez. Dez thought that he was finally getting through when Austin said, "Don't eat the ham that is in your backpack it will make you sick."

Austin then continues and sits down with the girl, introducing himself and flirting. Dez already knows how this is going to end so he gets up and goes home.

Austin and this girl whose name is Alice hit it off and their talking slowly becomes more of a date. It gets closer to eight when Alice notices the time. "I have to go, Austin. I had a really good time."

"Me too."

Austin smiled. He then looked into Alice's eyes and leaned in. She didn't stop him. On the contrary she leaned in too. They had only been kissing for a few seconds when he suddenly heard a very familiar voice saying his name in a very unfamiliar tone. He doesn't need to turn to see that Ally angrily walking towards him. He simply puts his head in his hands and waits for the worst to happen. "AUSTIN MONICA MOON, I DO NOT AND WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU! I WANT YOU OUT OF MY LIFE COMPLETELY. YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED INTO SONIC BOOM EVER AGAIN AND MORE IMPORTANTLY WE ARE NO LONGER PARTNERS OR FRIENDS!"

He knows that Alice has left him alone. He reaches into his pocket ready to get a text from Dez. It never comes. Austin texts Dez. "You heard that right."

"You deserved it. Don't text me until you figure this out."

Austin couldn't believe it. His best friend wasn't talking to him for some reason now. Austin went home. He thanked his mom for the movie even before she mentioned it. He popped it in and hoped that it would make him feel better. It didn't. He went up to his room and rewrote what he wrote last night and everything that had happened today. He still had no clue what he was doing that was making Ally so mad at him. Suddenly the clock began to ring twelve. I wish I could do this day over again. Austin thought.

The clock struck the twelfth time.
