Even though I haven't posted in a long time, this story was always on my mind. I am not a writer by nature, and therefore had major writers block. I already have the next chapter written, but I need to polish it. I am sorry for the delay.

Deeks was going to wear a hole in the floor, while he waited for the nurses to try to locate Kensi. Didn't the nurses realize they needed to find her now! He knew Kensi was pissed, but she wasn't ready to be on her own. And he wanted to keep this quiet, but he needed to talk to someone. He didn't want Hetty to get involved yet. His only option was to phone his team leader.

With his hand covering his other ear so he could hear G over the intercom.

"G, are you alone?"

"Yes."

"I can't find Kensi."

"What do you mean?!"

"I mean, she vanished, disappeared, vamoosed."

"I'll talk to Eric and get back to you."

"You can tell Sam too, but no one else."

Deeks frantically walked back to the nurse's station, "still no word?" With a shrug of the shoulders and a shake of the head, the different nurses standing around seemed bothered by Deeks' interruption. Losing all hope that he would find someone who cared, Deeks was relieved, when Kensi's nurse walked by.

"Have you seen Kensi, she isn't in her room and hasn't been there for a few hours. No one has seen her!"

"I'll see what I can do!" Finally Deeks found someone that genuinely cared Kensi was gone.

"I'm sorry but she is nowhere to be found. I've contacted security."

Two beefy guys came up to the nurses' station. "Are you the one looking for the missing woman?"

"Yes!"

"Did you ask the nurses where she was? Sometimes they forget to write down where a patient is." Deeks couldn't believe them. Did they really think that he wouldn't have asked such a straightforward question?

"I've asked all the nurses, including her nurse. No one has seen her."

"Come with us."

Deeks was led into a busy security office with 10 men sitting at desks with at least 10 different monitors each. "Wait here." The guards seemed to take their sweet time. Finally, Deeks was introduced to the head of security, Ben, after one of the security guards had talked to the guy about Kensi. "So I understand you are looking for your co-worker? When did she go missing?"

"Over four hours ago. I talked to a nurse and she told me that she had gone for some tests. She is used to being covert, but this time she is injured and weak. We need to find her!"

Ben didn't seem too concerned. Deeks felt like he couldn't catch a break. Kensi was still weak and she was pissed. She must be running on pure adrenaline. She also knew how to stay hidden. So if she didn't want to be found, then only a miracle would help. Deeks was counting on that miracle. He could also only hope there was some way for Ben and the others to realize how serious the situation was. Come on people, they were acting like it was a typical situation and not someone desperately needing to be found.

Meanwhile in OP's

Callen took the stairs two at a time, trying to reach the command centre as quickly as possible. The automatic doors couldn't open up fast enough. "Everyone out now! I'll let you know when to come back." Callen watched everyone scurry out of the room, while Eric questioningly looked at him.

"What's going on?" Eric faced Callen.

"Kensi's missing and Deeks doesn't want Hetty to know. Do your thing"

"On it" Eric turned towards his computers. "But I don't think we can keep this from Hetty."

"You're probably right, but I don't have time to worry about that. Go back about four hours". Callen's posture belied his anxiety as he watched Eric do his thing.

Eric used Kaleidoscope but couldn't find a trace of Kensi. He hacked into the closed circuit cameras but couldn't anything either.

"I'm running the facial recognition software right now. Hopefully something will come up."

"Good afternoon gentlemen. Why did you send everyone out of the room and run the facial recognition software? Callen and Eric seemed to jump out of their skin. They were concentrating so hard on getting a trace on Kensi they didn't hear their leader enter.

"Hetty we can't find Kensi!"

"You mean she left the hospital or they can't find her in the hospital?"

"Deeks was told that she was going for some tests. Instead they confused another patient and she can't be found!" Eric's voice was getting higher pitched with his agitation.

"Ok, this is what you will do. Mr. Beale will keep on looking, while Mr. Callen will come with me."

G reluctantly followed behind Hetty, while Eric continued to do his thing. G was steaming. Hetty was taking all the time in the world. It wasn't until they got to her office did Callen realize why Hetty was acting this way. She didn't want to agitate anyone else, but she was frustrated too. She felt a bit guilty how the whole situation with Kensi was handled and wanted her safe.

"Mr. Callen, I advise you go to the gym with Mr. Hannah and get some of your tension out. I am sure it will only be a matter of time before they find Ms. Blye and then you need to be calm."

G nodded and then went to find Sam. Sam was already in the gym pounding the life out of the punching bag. Callen joined him and both men worked hard to get all of their aggression out.
