"I, myself, Juvia Lockser…"she paused from writing and looked up. "killed Gray's father."

"Are you alright?" A shadow hovered Juvia, she squinted her eyes, fighting the light entering her eyes.

She sat up abruptly, droplets of rain continued to pelt in her pale skin. She felt strong arms snaked around her back, helping her to sit properly. Her eyes landed first on the muddy ground, her fists clenched on the hem of her night gown.

"Are you alright, Miss?" asked the man again, Juvia seemed to realize what is happening and quickly shove the person away.

"Who are you?!" she asked, her blue eyes glaring half-liddedly on the said person.

"Calm down." She heard him spoke, he attempted to stand up from his fall, the heavy rain continued to shower both of them. The alley was dark, only a single light post was her only guide. "I saw you here," he pointed on the ground. "unconscious and shivering."

Juvia blinked, raindrops hitting her soft skin, she blinked again, removing the droplet that clung to her lashes. "J-juvia did?" she asked cautiously while a hand brought up to her forehead, wiping her blue hair away from her face.

He nodded and stepped into the light, Juvia noticed that he's quite tall, he wore a black leather coat, his black hair contrasting the dim light above him. He stepped closer to her and Juvia allowed him. She was surprised when she saw him extend a hand towards her, she eyed him first before accepting the offered hand. In one swift but gentle tug, she was on her feet. Her upper body collided on the said man and she let out a small gasp.

"Sorry…" he muttered looking down at her. She slowly looked up to meet his eyes. Her pale cheeks immediately tinted red when she saw his green eyes bored into her.

"Uhm," she thought of how good looking he is. She pulled away, hugging herself. "Thank you…"

"It's Gian." He extended his arm, his whole face glowed with a smile when she shook his hand. "D-don't you think that it's a little weird talking in the rain?" he smiled at her carefully, flashing her his perfect white teeth.

She nodded without a word, her eyes became blank upon the mention of the rain pouring down on them. "Thank you again Gian-san." She said, bowing her head down before turning around, not even bothering to look back at him.

"Wait," he called but Juvia ignored him and walked her way out of the alley.

It was already late in the afternoon when Juvia arrived inside the guild. Lucy and the other girls immediately asked her why did she suddenly disappeared last night, she reasoned something and they were all seemed to be half convinced and half doubtful.

When she heard a Gray's familiar laugh from across the hall, her ears perked up as if she was a cat in alarm. She quickly shoved herself in the middle of the crowd inside the guild, hoping that she could escape his line of vision before he could even sense her but instead her best friend caught her.

"Juvia!" shouted Gajeel, a devilish smirk tugged on his lips. She almost hit someone and slowly turned around to meet Gajeel's red eyes, her lips wore a strained smile.

"H-hello, Gajeel-kun." As much as possible she tried to be her usual self today, she doesn't want anybody suspecting her about how weird she is today.

She closed her eyes and tried to breathe properly, she saw Gajeel sharing a table with Gray and Natsu.

Why does he have to hang with Gajeel-kun today?

Juvia felt like she was being burned when their eyes connected, Gray's face immediately brightened at the sight of her. He waved at her to come and join them, without a word she walked towards them, her head bowed deeply.

Natsu and Gajeel was sharing a bench, and the opposite side was occupied by none other than Fairy tail's resident ice mage.

Gray, with his clothes already gone, patted the seat beside him. Oh Mavis, she was not ready to face him yet shame and guilt was running through her veins.

She bit her bottom lip before plopping on the available space he provided for her. "I thought you're not coming." He chuckled to himself as he placed his elbow on the table. Gajeel's scarlet eyes traveled on both of them and he didn't missed how the ice prick became a little happier than before upon seeing ameonna, and Juvia, she seemed to be avoiding ice prick's advances and this made the iron dragon slayer proud, he smirked at this.

She only gave Gray a quick smile before drifting her eyes and attention away.

Gray sighed and noticed her discomfort, he even practiced talking to her so many times (in front of his bathroom mirror) and all he wanted now is for them to be less- no they shouldn't be awkward to each other anymore, especially himself.

"Did you already ate lunch?" he nudged her side using his elbow and this made Juvia jolt from her seat, her eyes turned wide when she snapped it on him.

"Y-yes," she paused, her fingers fidgeting nervously on her lap. "Juvia remembered something that she has to do. E-excuse me please." She stood up and made her way towards the guild's large door, opening it carefully before shutting it firmly behind her.

He only scowled at his failure, rolling his eyes away from the large doors.

Tears were falling from the corner of her eyes once she finally made a few distance away from Fairy Tail.

She killed Gray-sama's father. She killed the only family he have and he was still showering her with such kindness.

'Gray-sama must be disgusted to Juvia.' She thought before breaking into a silent cry.

All she knew right now is that she no longer has the confidence for his love, she can't face him because she did something unforgivable to him. She can feel her insides lurched in pain, twisting all of her emotions.

Once again, rain poured quietly. She looked up and it drenched her whole being, the skies were weeping along with her.

"Why do I always meet you when it's raining?"

She glanced around and saw a tall, black-haired man approaching her, a back umbrella on his hand. "Im lucky because I brought an umbrella with me today." He smiled at her, and he stepped closer, giving her some shelter away from the rain.

"You again?" her tone raised but she didn't entirely meant to be rude, she searched through her mind on what his name was again. "G-Gian-san?"

"Yep." He chirped, a dimple appearing on his cheeks. "You're Juvia-san from Fairy tail, right?"

She nodded and hugged herself. "What's wrong?" he asked her worriedly and looked down on her.

"J-juvia…" she started before feeling her head becoming lighter than usual. "Juvia killed Gray-sama's father." She hiccupped.

He arched a brow at her but still he felt pity towards the water mage and placed an awkward hand on her hair, he patted her like a lost child and his eyes graced her small face.

"Gian-san, what Juvia should do?" she asked him before clinging to his chest, crying her heart out to him.

"She disappeared in the middle of the night." Lucy talked to Gray as the ice mage asked her if she knew where might Juvia should be heading for today.

"Did she said anything about her plans for today?"

She shook her head. "It's been raining continuously now, eh?" the spirit mage changed the topic when she noticed that it was raining again outside. Suddenly, her eyes widened and she turned to Gray once again. "Did Juvia just regain her powers?" she asked him.

This time he shook his head. "I don't think so."

"Then," she paused, looking outside thoughtfully before looking back at Gray with worried eyes. "Her memories might be back too." she followed up. "Gray," she called out to him once again, "Don't you think that it's possible?"

He shrugged and his eyes trailed on the clouds above. "I don't know but Im sure Juvia will talk to me first about that." He finished confidently.

"Juvia's sorry, she didn't even know Gian-san but she cried in front of him and-"

"Shh..." he gave her a cup of hot chocolate before sitting himself down on the opposite chair from her. "You must be pressured by your problem."

She nodded and remembered that she doesn't have anyone to talk to about this matter.

"Juvia is really thankful." She send him a small smile, both her hands were clasped firmly around the mug. "This is so tasty." She beamed at him, forgetting her problems for a minute.

She was encaged by a white comforter her hair beggining to dry while they sat at a nearby cafe. Gian had his comforter placed on his lap, he removed his leather jacket, only to be clothed by his dark green shirt. Her eyes casts him a few shy glances while the said gentle man was busy humming a tune while flipping some pages of the magazine he's reading.

"Aren't Gian-san going to ask what is going on?" The blue-haired ask, tilting her head to the side.

He averted his eyes on her for a split second before turning it on the magazine again. "Nope."

"..." she lowered her head more, embarrassed on what she just asked.

"Im just waiting for you to talk about it." He suddenly told her, a playful smile on his lips. "You can tell me anything you want and I think it's really nice if I can be a help, you know?"

She sighed and gave him a warm smile. "You're so thoughtful Gian-san, at time like this, you won't find such a person like yourself."

He offered her a smile, placing his readings on the table.

"Its been months since Juvia can remember." she started as she began to tell him her tale.

"Juvia is a water mage that's why there's always rain with her." She glanced at the window glass, her eyes beginning to dim.

"How about you Gian-san?" She turned her gaze at him, her face burned when she saw him focusing on her.

"Im just a human, Im not wizard nor a mage." He said as a matter-of-factly. "I live in Cheshire, its ridiculously far away from here." he rolled his clear, green eyes.

"So what are you doing here then?" Juvia asked carefully, placing a lock of her blue hair behind her ear.

"Im having a vacation. I even thought that this is a bad idea, I don't really want to spend my time hanging on places which I don't really know."

Her lips formed a small 'o', nodding to herself.

"But I think that that just changed Juvia-san. I think Im liking it here." he smile boyishly at him, his eyes trained on Juvia.

She gave him a smile and placed her mug on top of the wooden table. "That's good then!"

"Smiling suits you."

"Eh?"

Gian nodded before standing up. "I really like to know more about you Juvia-san. Perhaps we could meet again?"

Her cheeks blushed brightly at his statement, her eyes lowering on the ground.

She was currently having a battle inside her; Who knows that she could find a friend in the mist of trouble she have right now, she feels so at ease talking to him. It's not also bad to meet this kind of guy so why don't she give this a shot?

She exhaled deeply before turning to look up at him. "Juvia thinks that's it great." She smiled at him sweetly, she made a simple, comfort zone in the form of a friend and she's happy about it.

"Im promising you that the next time we meet, you will forget all your problems and you're only going to smile for the whole time."

She beamed at him, her cheeks flushing charmingly, this time honest and glad.

"H-hai... Juvia's looking forward to your promise then."

The whole guild definitely knew what happened, she could imagine everyone of them eyeing her, their lips murmuring disappointments about her and all. She feels so weak, she feels that she was being stab back to back and they continue to poke her with their blades, stabbing her until she no longer have the ability to bleed. She was being played especially by Gray.

He's only having a great time telling her lies and making her believe to their lies; That everything's okay, that she didn't kill anyone important to him, that she saved the whole continent because she killed her enemy, Kieth and that's it.

Juvia didn't do anything wrong; that's what he wants to tell the whole world.

Gray was being selfish on her point of view; it was all her fault, she was the bad person, she's the killer and on top of that he didn't even bother to remind her of those. She deserves to suffer not to be loved by him. Is this all a revenge? Is this all a part of his vengeance so if he breaks her heart then they'll be equal?

She felt so stupid, she felt so hopeless that in this moment she feels that she's being pulled to return with her old self, and she doesn't want to be like that again.

But what's in store for her, after all , she's the one who ended the life of her most precious' person's loved one.
