"That's it!"
Roars escaped the enraged Light as he gripped the detective's torn shirt. A hand raised, poised to strike the dull eyed man. He swung... missed. Dodging the blow, Ryuzaki dropped in to a crouch, effectively ripping his shirt even more. However, with the situation as it was, a shredded shirt was better than a bloody nose or a black eye. Both of which he already sported. Not that 'Kira' was fairing any better. He swung his leg out, cracking into Light's ankle and knocking him down. Ryuzaki jumped for him.
"Get off me!"
Rattling chains and tearing cloth echoed throughout the room. Growls and grunts sounded from the tumbling pile of limbs. Light elbowed him in the gut. Ryuzaki in turn kneed him in the side. Rising to his knees, Kira lunged for his accuser, grabbing him by his thick black hair. They tumbled again, this time Ryuzaki landed on his back, Light hovered over him. He raised his hand again. Struggling painfully to break the death grip on his hair, Ryuzaki moved to elbow his attacker in the face. Seeing this Light quickly released the man's hair, grabbing for his slim wrist. With his raised hand, he grabbed the other wrist.
Finally. He finally had the bastard pinned. Actually, out of all their fights, this was the first time he could remember pinning Ryuzaki. They had been fighting a lot more recently, Light's temper getting the best of him in the heat of an argument. His father said it was his 'raging teenage-boy hormones.' He supposed being chained to another male would do this to him. However, it was always Light who threw the first punch.
"Ha!" He smirked.
Ryuzaki stared at Light. They were both out of breath from the fight. He wasn't used to fighting this often. Sure he could hold his own, even if he didn't look it, but most of his fights had always been a battle of wits. But now, they had fought almost once a day. Light had been more on edge lately. Always picking a fight with him. Ryuzaki knew what the cause was. And he was beginning to enjoy pushing the boy's buttons, even if it did end in a brawl.
"What are you going to do now, Kira?" He panted out mockingly, enjoying egging the boy on. Anger flashed across Light's face again.
"Quit calling me 'Kira'!"
"You know, Kira, your continued attacks on me are only making me more sure of who you are."
"Don't call me that! I don't care what you think, Ryuzaki! I'm. Not. Kira!" Light growled out. A small smirk played on the dark-haired man's lips.
Knock, knock. Two heads turned toward the door. No doubt it was Mr. Yagami to the rescue, again. But this time the door was locked.
Taking advantage of his distraction, Ryuzaki flipped Light on to his back. Sitting on top of him and pulling his wrists above his head, he leaned down, their noses touching.
"Whatever you say," Ryuzaki whispered as he leaned closer, brushing his lips against Light's.
"Kira," he breathed, pressing a full kiss on his mouth.
When he pulled away, the shock was very apparent on the boy's face. So was the blush. Ryuzaki almost chuckled at the sight. He pushed himself up, grabbing Light's arm, pulling him up too. They walked to the door, the elder one unlocking it.
"We are fine Mr. Yagami. Just another little skirmish," the detective informed. "Please, allow us to get back to our work."
Although he gave the pair a disapproving look, probably because of the injuries they were both sporting, he muttered something and left. He then called for them to keep the door unlocked this time before he disappeared down the hall.
So back to work it was.
