A/N: Sorry for not being able to update, I had soo much to do throughout the month of December, but now I'm back. Hopefully I'm able to update more frequently. And I hope you like this chapter.

As May and Ash approached the Ferris Wheel, from the distance they were able to see the fireworks show. "Wow," May looked up at the sky and saw the flashing gorgeous lights. "Aren't they beautiful, Ash?"

Ash then looked at the sky. "Yeah they're pretty amazing."

They finally reached the Ferris Wheel. "Excuse me?" Ash asked the man who operated the Ferris Wheel.

"You here to ride the Ferris Wheel?" The man answered with a question.

"Yeah!" Both May and Ash said at the exact same time.

"Well I'm sorry to say but the Ferris Wheel is out of commission." He told them.

"Oh..." May seemed disappointed at the news.

Ash seemingly looked at May. He then turned to look at the man. "Ah well I guess we're leaving then..."

Still holding hands, both May and Ash started to walk until the man stopped them. "Well," the man said. "Just give 10 minutes to see if I can at least give you one go."

"R-really?" May turned her frown upside down.

"Yeah," the man started to walk to the Ferris Wheel's controls. "Just wait there, please."

"Alright!" Ash said with a happy tone.

As they waited, they sat down on the grass next to each other. "Are you having any fun?" Ash asked May.

"Huh?" May came back from what seemed like she was daydreaming.

"I said," Ash repeated once more. ""Are you having fun?""

"Oh," she smiled. "Yeah, I'm pretty exhausted."

"Yeah, me too." Ash let out a deep breath.

They both looked up to see the fireworks one more time. "Ash, c-can I ask yo-" May was then interrupted by the man who handled the Ferris Wheel.

"Ok!" He yelled out from the Ferris Wheels controls. "Done. The Ferris Wheel should be able to take you guys around all the way only once."

Ash got up followed by May right behind him. "Thank so much for doing this for us" Ash said.

"It's nothing really." The man wiped his dirty hands with his towel that laid next to one of the knobs on the Ferris Wheels controls.

He walked them towards the Ferris Wheels empty seats. "Here you go."

"Thanks." May said.

The man put on their safety "belts.""Now I'm just gonna start it up now." The man headed back to the controls.

After a few seconds of no movement, the Ferris Wheel started to move clockwise.

As they were getting higher, they noticed the whole city of Lilycove City. "Wow the city is so beautiful from up here." May gasped at the sight.

"That's not the only thing beautiful..." Ash said underneath his breath.

"W-what?" May slightly blushed, hearing his remark.

"I-it's true," Ash said trying to find the words to save himself. "The fireworks are still on."

"Oh," her blush faded away. "That's true."

"Anyways," Ash scratched his head. "What were you gonna say before you were inte-"

Ash then was interrupted when the Ferris Wheel stopped.

"Uh why did we stop?" May looked down from her seat.

"I don't know," Ash sat straight and looked down. "HEY! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON DOWN THERE!?"

The man was behind the Ferris Wheels controls. "Damn!" He said underneath his breath.

"WELL!?" Ash yelled once more, trying to get an answer from him.

He got up from his knees and looked up at both Ash and May. "Umm... I'll be right back." He walked away.

"Wait what?" May was startled by his response. Before she could say anything, the man had already left. "Where did he go?"

"Dunno... did he say he was coming back?" Ash asked.

"HE BETTER!" She yelled out.

"Well at least we can see the fireworks better from up here," Ash said trying to calm May down. "Right?"

She stopped her little rant. "Sorry," she apologized. "And yes you're right, the view from up here makes the fireworks look better."

A few minutes of silence passed, flashing colors overlooked the dark sky once more. Two shadows sitting, at the highest point of what seemed to be seats of a Ferris Wheel.

May leaned her head onto Ash's shoulder, still enjoying the view of the fireworks. Ash slightly blushed.

"Are you tired, May?" He asked her.

"A bit," she yawned, still with her head placed on Ash's shoulder. "Why?"

"Oh just curious," Ash fixed his sitting position. "These fireworks are amazing and all but..."

"But what?" She questioned.

"They're getting pretty annoying after you've been stuck on a Ferris Wheel seat for what seems like FOREVER!" He was now agitated.

May giggled. "Yeah you're right, " May trying to calm Ash now. "How long have we been up here?"

"I dunno but he isn't here either," he let out a deep breath. "I'm starting to think that maybe he might not come back."

"Don't say that," she remarked him. "I don't want to be stuck up here."

"Well don't worry," Ash took out what seemed to be a cellphone from his pocket. "I can still call somebody from my- no wait never mind."

"W-what happened!?" She worried.

"It's dead..." Ash now felt disappointed and embarrassed at his resolve. He put his cellphone back into his pocket.

Both May and Ash sighed loudly. Ash then remembered something. "Hey May?"

"Yeah?" She answered.

"What was it you were gonna tell me earlier?" He asked.

"When?" She tried to remember when that happened.

"You know?" He recovered her memory. "Before the man interrupted our earlier conversation, you know?"

"Oh that time..." She tried hard putting her words together one more time.

Ash looked at May, observing her. "Is somethi-" He was instantly interrupted.

"Ash," May finally let it out. "What I was trying to say was..."

"Yes?" He waited for her response.

"I just wanted to ask you something..." She mumbled.

Ash knowing that he had to be patient, waited for her to blurt out what she was trying to say. "Go ahead."

May, after a few minutes of silence, let out one big deep breath. "D-do y-you like m-me?" She was all red.

Ash was shocked at her question, also was bright red, just as May. I know May was pretty straight forward but NOT that straightforward. Ash was in his thoughts.

Did I ask this question too soon? May's thoughts swirled all around her brain. She still waited his response. "Ash?"

Ash was knocked back onto Earth. He let out a deep breath. "May-" once again interrupted.

"DID I ASK THE QUESTION TOO SOON!?" She blurted out. "I'm sorry Ash..." Tears started to stroll down her cheek.

Ash, with confidence, turned to look at a weeping May, face to face. He held her hands. "May, calm down." He then took his hand and wiped one of her tears.

"Huh?" She sniffled.

"May," Ash took a deep breath. "You are a remarkable, beautiful woman."

She finally stopped tearing. "Really?" She asked.

"Yes." He then hugged her. "You are a spectacular Pokèmon Coordinator."

"You really think so?" She blushed at his remarks.

"Yeah," the hug finally receded. Both of their foreclose to each other one last time. "All this time... I've always... Loved you, May."

May's eyes widen, hearing what seemed to be Ash's confession. She smiled. "Ash.. I've always loved you too." She reciprocated her feelings as well.

Ash's mother's advice echoed in his mind, Let your actions speak for yourself. Usually, he would ignore the advice but he now took a leap with them. He looked into May's sapphire eyes while she looked into his dark brown eyes. They both acknowledged that their faces were close, almost as close as the beach and hotel incident.

"May?" He asked.

"Yes?" She answered.

"I've been letting my words speak for me...," He leaned in closer. "I think it's now the best time for my actions to speak now."

"W-what do y-you m-" She then felt her lips meet his.

She had never thought that he would've done it but he did.

Smooth, his lips were. She liked the way they felt. She can still taste the blue berry cotton candy from his lips. This was her first kiss and the one that'll last a long time as a memory.

Smooth, came to mind as well for Ash. He never thought he'd make actually make the kiss right there and then. His first kiss, this kiss, felt passionate; nothing he experienced before and he is glad he was able to share it with the one loved.

Still locked into their kiss, suddenly the fireworks show started once more. The lights of the fireworks lit the night sky, and the only thing that showed were their silhouettes.

The kiss finally broke when both gasped for air.

"May...?" Ash looked once more into her eyes.

She smiled. "Yes?"

"I love you." He said. "I've always loved you."

She put her fingers over his lips. "I've always loved you too."
