Two hours later when the girls returned from the beach, that is where they found them. Emily laying on her back with Paige's head on her chest, both asleep. Leaving them alone and moving to the living room with a bottle of wine and three wine glasses, they sat in a circle to discuss what they had seen at the beach.

"Do we tell them we saw Alison?" Aria asked.

"No way. You saw what happened the last time Paige saw her." Spencer said.

"You mean Paige decking her right in the face?" Hanna asked with a smile.

"No. I mean the hospital trip right after that. I'm all for giving Alison what she deserves, but not at the cost of Paige." Spencer said.

"We have to at least tell Emily what Alison told us." Aria.

The three had just layed down on their towels to dry off after swimming for an hour when a blonde approached them. She stood still until Hanna rolled over and spoke.

"What do you want, Alison?" She asked.

"Emily." Alison said matter of factly.

"Well I hate to break it to you, but she doesn't want you." Aria said.

"Because of Pigskin?" Alison asked. This caused Spencer to stand up and clench her fists.

"Don't call her that Alison." Spencer growled out.

"Or what Spencer? We both know that after all these years, you wouldn't do anything to me. That's how we have stayed friends for so long." Alison said snidely.

"We are so far from being friends with you." Hanna replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did Hefty get a backbone?" As soon as the words left Allison's mouth, a loud crack brought everyone's attention to the girl. Somehow Aria had gotten to her feet as soon as the comment left the blondes mouth and smacked her across the cheek. Alison stood staring at the tiny brunette.

"You don't have any hold on us anymore Alison. I suggest you leave those two girls, and us, alone from now on." The venom in Arias voice alone was enough to make the blonde back off.

"This isn't over. Emily still loves me. She will come crawling back." Alison said belle she turned and walked away.

"You've been awfully quite since we got back to the house." Spencer said to Hanna. "Don't let her get to you."

"She doesn't. But what if she gets to them? I really like Paige. I really like how she makes Emily feel, how she treats her. I don't think she could stand another confrontation with Alison. Look what the last one did." Hanna said.

"I know what you mean. Maybe we should just tell them." Spencer said.

"Tell us what?" Emily asked from behind them. When they turned around they saw Emily standing in the living room, holding hands with Paige who had he head rested against Emily's shoulder.

"We kind of had a little ruin in with someone on the beach." Hanna said vaguely.

"Who?" Emily asked.

"Alison." Aria said.

"It's ok." Emily said more to Paige, who had stiffened behind Emily when the name was spoken. She pulled on potatoes hand so the girl was flush with her back, Paige moved one of her hands around to Emily's stomach, keeping her head on her shoulder.

"I'm really tired Em. I think I am just going to head back to bed." Paige said as she went to leave the living room.

"Hey." Paige stopped when she heard Spencer's voice. "She doesn't get to do this. You are safe here. Safe with us, with Emily."

"She wants you Emily. She is after you." Aria said.

"We'll I don't want her. I'm happy with where I am." She said, looking towards Paige. The girl had her eyes on Emily the entire time, a grin on her lips. The sound of the door bell ringing caught the attention of all the girls. Spencer opened the door to reveal two big duffel bags and an envelope on top. A delivery man standing with a clipboard.

"Paige McCullers?" He asked.

"That's me." Paige said as she walked to the door.

"Sign here." The man said handing her the clipboard. "These are yours." He pointed to the bags before walled away.

"What is it?" Hanna asked as she and Spencer drug them in.

"It's all my clothes." Paige said. She handed Emily the envelope and letter before turning and heading to the bedroom.

"Paige!" Emily yelled. The girl didn't stop, Emily opened the letter and read it out loud. "Paige, I know I said that I just wanted you to be happy. I ment it. But right now, if Emily Fields is what makes you happy, I can't stand behind that decision. I am relieving you from your contact with swimming, although I think we both knew that. Since you are no longer one of my athletes, I can't let you stay at the complex anymore. Your clothing is in these two duffel bags. Your other belongings are in a storage shed, the keys are included in the envelope. I have paid for four months of storage. I didn't think that this was going to happen Paige, you have to believe me. If I had known that the steroids would do this to your heart, God, I wouldn't have had you use them. I'm sorry that it has come to this."

"Poor Paige." Aria said.

"What an asshole!" Hanna yelled at the same time as Aria.

"Han." Spencer said.

"No she is right. I'm going to go check on her." Emily walked into her bedroom to see Paige was facing the door, on her side, sound sleep. Maybe she was just tired, Emily thought. She walked over to the bed and kissed Paige on her forehead. "I know that you're scared. But I don't want you to be. I'm here for you." When she turned to leave, a hand grabbed her arm and pulled her back. Before she could realize what had happened, lips attached to hers. Paige was kneeling on the edge of the bed, level with Emily. She pulled Emily into her body and deepened the kiss. Emily let it go for a few seconds before she stepped back. Detaching herself from Paige completely.

"Bed rest." Emily said.

"I just needed to make sure that what I am giving everything up for, it's worth it." Paige said, looking down.

"Is it?" Emily asked.

"Very." Paige said.

"Good. Now lay down, I'm going to make dinner. We will sort this out later." Emily said.

"So, what are you going to do?" Hanna asked, an hour later as the girls were cooking.

"Always the nosy one." Spencer said.

"Am I crazy?" Emily asked. "I just met this girl."

"No. Not crazy. Well, not that crazy." Hanna said.

"Thanks. Seriously though." Emily started.

"Stop. I've known you all my life Emily. We all have. And we all agree that we have never seen you this happy before. Not even with Mya or Alison. That doesn't make you crazy." Aria said.

"Yea, I'm kind of jealous." Spencer said.

"You have Toby. I have Caleb, and Aria has Ezra." Hanna said. "Emily needs someone." She said, sticking her tongue out at Emily.

"Thanks Han." Emily said.

"Hey." Paige said as she entered the kitchen with a laptop. "Dad was nice enough to pack my computer."

"Hey, how you feeling?" Spencer asked.

"Still tired. But other wise, fantastic." Paige said.

"What are you doing with that?" Emily asked as she pointed to the computer.

"Looking for apartments." Paige said. "Nick sure knows how to take care of family. But hey, at least he gave me four months of storage before I have to move everything."

"So, your looking for somewhere?" Emily asked casually. She made eye contact with the girls, they all took the hint and left the kitchen.

"Yes. I figure that when our time is up with the therapy...actually, I guess that is out of the window now that I am not returning to the training." Paige dropped her head down on the table with a loud thud.

"Move in with me." Emily blurted out.

"What?" Paige asked, pulling her head up quickly.

"We both want this relationship to go this way. I've waited a long time for you Paige. I've gone through a lot to get to you. I don't want to waste anymore time. Move in with me." Emily said.

"But I found a cute little place in town." Paige said.

"How about a cute place on the beach?" Emily said.

"I don't like sand and water everywhere." Paige joked. "There would have to be a great reason to deal with that."

"Me. In a bikini. All. The. Time." Emily said.

"Hmmm. Sold." Paige said, leaning over to Emily to place a kiss on her lips. "So we're going to move in together and we haven't had a first date yet."

"What is wrong with us?" Emily laughed out.

"Date tonight?" Paige asked.

"You can't leave the house Paige." Emily said.

"We won't leave the house." Paige winked before getting up and leaving the kitchen. "Go get ready, pajamas only." She yelled as she went into Spencer's room.
