"Ok guys I'm ba-" A man with toolbox stopped mid sentence looking up at the top of the Ferris Wheel. "... I'll come back..."

The man simply walked out of the area. The two figures, May and Ash, stopped their kiss. "Was that the man?" May sat back regularly.

"I think it was..." Ash sat straight as well.

Both then got all red, embarrassed that the man had to witness them kiss. "Well I think it may have been a bit... awkward for him." May softly laughed.

"Yeah," Ash then laughed as well. "I wish he came back."

"Why?" May asked.

"Because," Ash simply explained. "I DON'T WANT TO BE UP HERE ANYMORE!"

"That I can agree with." May again laughed at her boyfriend's rant.

After a few minutes of waiting and watching the rest of the fireworks show, the man reappeared. "Ok," he rushed towards the controls. "Y'all done with the smooching and yada yada yada?!"

Ash and May looked down and saw that he had finally came back. "I guess!" May answered the man's question.

"Ok then," the man reached in his toolbox and took out a wrench. "I'll get you down in a bit."

"Thank god... or is it Arceus?" Ash was relieved but confused at his own statement.

"... I'm not gonna answer that, honey." May sighed.

"Yeah you're right."

Ash and May both waited patiently. May laid her head slowly onto Ash's shoulder once more this time slowly falling asleep, while Ash just started to look at the sky filled with stars, being bored out of his mind. "We've been up here for almost an hour." Ash complained.

"Almost 2." May added.

"Damn..." Ash yawned.

"Let's just take a na-" Before May suggested a nap, Ash had started to snore. "Nevermind then."

She joined him in a nap.

BACK ON THE GROUND

"Now where does this piece?" The man didn't have any idea what was what as he was fixing the Ferris Wheel. "How did I even manage to fix this for them earlier?"

The man took a little break, taking off some sweat from his forehead with his little blue towel. "Geez," he took a sip from his water bottle that was next too him. "It's been awhile since anybody rode this old darn thing..."

He stopped his little break and resumed. "Gotta continue this," he then took out a screw driver from his toolbox. "Don't want them kids to stay up there too long, it's getting cold out here."

As he fixed it, the man heard a familiar voice behind him. "Hey Carl!" A smooth male's voice echoed in his ear.

Carl then turned around. "Hey Brock." He stood up and greeted him.

"What are you doing?" Brock asked.

"I'm making tacos," Carl said sarcastically. "No, I'm just trying to repair this thing to get those kids up there back down here."

Brock then looked up. "Ash and May are up there!?" Brock flustered.

"Is that there names?" Carl asked, taking out yet another thing he didn't know what it was.

"Yeah," Brock answered. "They're my friends. You let them ride the damn Ferris Wheel?"

"Them kids have some good persuasive words." Carl softly laughed.

"DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!?" Brock the majority of pieces out of the controls.

"..." Carl didn't respond.

"DAMMIT CARL!" Brock retorted. "I'm gonna have to call for help." Brock reached for his phone.

"You're not gonna get any signal here." Carl told Brock.

"Well I guess I'm gonna have to go higher ground." Brock soon left, leaving Carl at the Ferris Wheel.

Carl then stood up and looked intensely at the controls. "How the hell did I even fix you in the first place?" His own words echoed in his brain.

BACK TO ASH AND MAY

Ash awoke first from his nap. "Damn what time is it?" He then looked at as his right wrist. "Oh wait I don't havd a watch."

Ash soon realised that May had fallen asleep on his shoulder. He looked at her face. "Her face," Ash whispered. "It's so cute when she sleeps." He then slowly took her off his shoulder, placed her head on his chest and continued on hugging her.

"I... love... you... Ash." May whispered in her sleep.

"Love you too." Ash smiled, whispering back at her.

Ash fell back to sleep once more.

BACK TO THE GROUND

"I'm... back..." Brock panted as he had just came back.

"W-where's you help?" Carl asked since there was no one else with him.

Brock then took out his pokemon, Onix. "Onix." The snake like rock pokemon said as it came out of it's pokeball.

"I just so happened to carry my pokemon," Brock said finally regaining his breath. "But I had forgotten that when I came here."

Carl then facepalmed. "And here I thought I was the damn idjit."

"Ok Onix," Brock commanded his pokemon. "Move the Ferris wheel clockwise."

"Onix Oni!" The rock pokemon yelled out.

The Ferris Wheel finally started to move clockwise once more, which awakened both Ash and May from their slumber. "Holy crap, we're finally moving." Ash said.

"Finally." May got up from her position and started to stretch.

"Good job, Onix!" Ash and May have heard that voice before.

"BROCK!?" Both Ash and May said as they looked down.

"Yeah guys!" Brock answered.

The Ferris Wheel finally made it's loop thanks to the help of Brock's Onix. The chairs locking and safety mechanisms were finally off and Ash and May were finally able to walk back on the ground. "Thanks Onix." May and Ash thanked the pokemon.

"Onix Oni!" The rock pokemon was happy to help. It soon returned to it's pokeball.

"Thanks buddy," Brock then put his pokeball back into his belt. "How long have you 2 been up there?" Brock jumped right into a question.

"2 hours at most." Ash and May, in harmony, said together.

"2-2 HOURS!?" Brock's jaw dropped.

"Yeah." Ash said, stretching his legs.

"What happened to that one guy?" May said to Brock.

"Right behind you." The man's voice can be heard right behind them.

May turned around and him. "What the heck ever happened to fixing the damn controls?"

"Sorry ma'am, " Carl scratched his head, giggling. "Turns out I'm very rusty at fixing stuff nowadays."

"Fixing or," Ash soon picked up one of the many pieces of the Ferris Wheels control that were scattered on the grass. "Destroying it?"

"A little bit of both?" Carl laughed.

"Well it's getting late now," Brock pointed out. "You 2 should probably go back to your hotel room."

"Yeah you're right." Ash yawned.

"Where's my brother?" May asked, concerned for her brother.

"I took him back to our hotel room," Brock told May. "He was already tired and he had helped a lot in the carnival."

"Ok. Thanks for letting me know." May was grateful for the news.

"Yeah." Brock started to walk back to the city of Lilycove.

Ash and May followed.

The wind started to get chilly. "No kidding," May slightly shivered. "It does get cold in the night." Out of nowhere, Ash then gives May his jacket, covering her. "Huh?"

"Here you go." Ash smiled.

"But aren't you gonna get cold Ash?" May was slightly warmer than before.

"That's ok," Ash then pointed at his shirt's sleeves. "I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt under."

"Ah ok." May then walked closer to Ash. He then put his arm over her shoulders and both continued to walk side by side.

"So you finally sealed the deal?" Brock said turning around and walking backwards.

Both Ash and May looked at each other, then faced towards Brock, both giving him a nod that suggested yes.

"You guys will make a great couple." Brock then started to tear, happy for the couple.

"Thanks," Once again, they both saud in harmony. "Brock, watch out!"

"Wha-" Suddenly, Brock fell from what seemed to be a step, backwards. "Ouch."

Ash seemingly helped him back on his feet. "You ok?"

Brock dusted off some dirt from his pants. "Yeah, I'll be ok."

"Come on now," May grabbed Ash, by surprise, on his arm and and quickly ran to their hotel they were staying. "We're here now."

"Bye Brock!" Ash yelled out.

"Bye guys!" Brock yelled out back, taking a different route to his hotel.

Soon both entered the lobby. "That was a good date." May said.

"Yeah it was." Ash agreed.

They walked towards the main elevator and pressed the button to call it down. "So what do you think are pokemon are doing?" May said, waiting for the elevator to come down.

"I'm not even sure." Ash repelled the question.

The elevator was now in the main lobby. The doors opened and both quickly walked in. "Me too." May agreed with Ash. The doors closed, now taking them up to their floor.

The elevator finally reached their floor, opened it's doors and both of them walk out. "Our room is over there." Ash pointed out to their right sideir of the hall.

They approach their door. "You s-should open the doors first Ash." May slightly nervous on what's on the other side.

"Why are you nervous?" Ash turned around looking at May.

"You know exactly why." May retorted back.

"It's not like they did anything." Ash then turned around, reaching for the doorknob.

"Wait!" May grabbed his hand before he opened the door with the key. "What do you mean "they"?"

"Our pokemon...," Ash then realised what May has been thinking. "Now I know what you mean..."

"Exactly!" May loudly whispered.

"Well there's only one way to find out." Ash then once again reached for the door. He unlocked it and opened it.
