Here you go, Turquoiseluv134, here's your update.
Will the person who keeps impersonating me in the review box KINDLY cut it out? Even I don't know who I am anymore.
Marth: Having issues there, chief?
Just a small case of identity theft. I'll get it sorted out eventually.
Pit: You've gotta finish the fight scene first, though!
*whips out laptop and cocks it like a gun*
That I do, Pit, that I do…
*Glares at Captain Falcon*
Man, you're just the cause of everyone's suffering, aren't you?
CF: *shrugs* Can't help it brah.
*smacks him with laptop*
*laptop breaks*
Smashers: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Relax... *holds up duct tape* …I got this.
*collective relieved sigh*
The entire hall went dead quiet after the massive crash rang through the air. When the dust had settled, Falcon disdainfully stepped out of the crater he had made in the wall and wiped his chin, like nothing even happened. Pit's scowl grew larger.
The pilot cracked his knuckles.
"Alright, then. Let's go, kid."
Pit gritted his teeth. Darting forward at an invisible speed, he drew back another fist, ready to send the racer flying again. Falcon tensed, ready for the angel.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIT!" Crazy Hand smashed through the roof and landed between the two.
Pit and Falcon froze.
So did all the other Smashers.
No one moved for about three seconds.
The hand took a breath.
"Don't you guys know? You can't have a fight without epic music! It's like…it's…it's LIKE A RULE!"
Pit glanced awkwardly around the room.
"Er…"
Crazy Hand pointed to the DJ stand, where Marth was still stationed.
"YOU! POPCICLE MAN! DROP DEM STEAMY BEATS!"
Marth's eyes widened.
"Uh…Cra-"
"CUCUMBERS!"
"…"
Ike stepped up to Marth's side.
"I got this, bro."
The mercenary flipped a few switches on the stereo system, selected a new song, and hit play.
He stood up and crossed his arms triumphantly as "Light 'em Up" by Fall-Out Boy blasted out of the stereo.
Crazy Hand nodded excitedly.
"THANK YOU MAGICAL CAT GENIE! YOU ALL MAY RESUME WITH THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"
With that, the deranged glove shot back up into the sky, choosing instead to smash another hole in the roof on his exit instead of leaving through the old one.
Pit was too bewildered to see the Falcon Punch coming.
With a mighty BOOM, he was sent soaring into the air, unconscious for a few seconds.
Oh, it was on.
Snapping his eyes open, Pit's bow flared into his hands, thousands of arrows already materializing in the weapon. Without hesitation he aimed every single one at Falcon, and released his finger.
The Hall was flooded with cerulean as the wave of energy projectiles streaked at the pilot, screeching through the air. Falcon leapt out of the path at the last second, jumping straight up at Pit, hand blazing with another Falcon Punch.
The arrows dispersed and came around, rushing in an immense, spread-out fleet.
Pit ducked under the mid-air punch and drove a fierce elbow into Falcon's stomach, swatting him away…
…straight into the ravenous horde of light arrows, thirsty for blood.
Falcon crossed his arms over his torso as his body was lit up, searing bolts of holy power singing his skin.
As the last arrow struck, Falcon fell to the ground and landed quite nicely on his feet.
He looked up disappointedly at the hovering angel, who was taking great notice as to how the pilot didn't even have a scratch on him.
"That all you got?"
Pit fumed.
He shot down from his perch in the sky, slamming into the floor and sparking tremors in the ground. He grabbed Falcon by the throat and threw him upwards. He took a leaf out of Ike's book and followed the racer up, stopping him mid-flight and furiously slashing away while he was suspended in the air. He drew back and launched a frightening, mid-air roundhouse kick that smashed his opponent into the wall.
He hovered there for a few seconds, bow clenched tightly in his hands. His eyes trained on the cloud of dust before him, confident in his success.
Falcon shot out of the veil with a fire in his eyes… and a fire on his leg.
"FALCON KICK!"
Pit was slammed back down to the ground, wind escaping him for a brief moment. Falcon dropped down beside him, throwing his burning fist at Pit's head.
The angel rolled out of the way without a second to spare, unsettled by the feeling of the tips of his hair getting torched. The Falcon Punch cracked the marble floor at it impacted.
Pit spun to his feet and threw another fierce swivel kick at the pilot. He caught him in the head, his heel connecting with his skull with a sickening THWACK!
Falcon flipped on his side as he was sent spiraling to the left, somehow catching himself on all fours, and eventually rolling to his feet.
Pit rushed again, instead throwing a tightened fist at Falcon's stomach.
The pilot caught it, much to Pit's dismay.
Taking advantage of the angel's light weight, Falcon effortlessly threw Pit over his head and slammed him into the floor.
Pit coughed up a little blood as he made contact with the unforgiving marble.
Falcon's hand swirled with fire once again. He took aim at the angel's skull.
Pit reacted swiftly, spinning on the floor and sweeping Falcon's legs out from under him. The archer leapt to his feet and brought his heel down to Falcon's now upturned back, cracking his spine like a wedge hammered into wood.
Falcon muffled a pained shout and rolled back to his feet, sparking and enveloping both of his hands in flames. Pit responded by drawing his bow and splitting it into two glittering halves.
"Walk This Way" by Aerosmith started up.
The two rushed each other. Pit swung his blades down in an X, resulting in Falcon catching both of them with crossed, fiery arms. He threw them up and out of his way, allowing him clear, unblocked passage to Pit's exposed diaphragm. Taking the opportunity, he darted in and threw hundreds of blazing fists into the angel's ribs at invisible speed. Wind flew out of the angel's lungs as they were crushed, forcing him to give a little ground as he staggered backwards, gasping for breath.
Falcon grinned. Bolting forward, he threw a single, searing Falcon Punch at the brunette's head.
Pit's face shot up in wicked smile as he caught the punch. Falcon's grin withered into a horrified expression. The gasping was just a show.
And he fell for it.
Returning the favor twofold, Pit flung the pilot's fist aside and rushed in himself, but instead of using punches, he drew slash after slash across Falcon's open chest, lacerating his suit, and skin for that matter, with unbridled fury. He switched from swords to elbows, slamming the pilot's wounded torso repetitively as he drove him back.
Retreating exactly one step away, Pit flapped his wings to boost his power as his entire body launched in an axel, throwing everything in a devastatingly powerful bicycle kick that connected with Falcon precisely where the angel wanted it: right in his big, fat jaw.
CRACK!
The pilot's head snapped back on his neck as he went soaring across the room, finally touching down in a crumpled heap a few meters away.
Pit wasn't even done. His wings exploded into colossal, azure-stained behemoths as the Wings of Pegasus galvanized, allowing him blinding speed as he rocketed up to one of the Grand Hall's encircling, gargantuan pillars.
Furiously he grabbed the column, and after a few seconds of violent tremors spreading through the entire hall, he ripped the whole thing out of its resting place.
Jaws hit the floor.
Swinging with all his might, Pit slung the massive marble pillar over his head, and finally, down onto Falcon's crippled figure, shaking the walls as it finally thundered to the floor.
CRASH!
The song that was playing slowly faded out, as if it was on cue. The column eventually fell from Pit's hands, while he began to take long, steady breaths. Nobody moved a muscle. Not a sound could be heard. Time seemed to stand still.
Heads jumped as the whole building began to shake. The pillar Pit had removed had been crucial to the Grand Hall's roof support, and now that it was gone, things were literally going to pieces. Several of the other pillars began to topple as the structural integrity of the hall plummeted, huge chunks of the roof dislodging and falling to the floor.
Marth shouted to the Smashers over the huge commotion.
"Everyone, evacuate the building!"
Not a one complained as the fighters flew the coop, Bowser leading the charge as he smashed through the main doors, the rest following behind him. Soon everyone was out, except for Pit, who had snapped out of his angered trance and was soaring around the congregating wreckage, looking for stragglers.
A flash of scarlet caught his eye.
He swiveled his body in heartbeat, spotting the one person he could never live without.
Samus was on the ground in the corner, unconscious, legs crushed under a chunk of rubble. Pit's heart burned with regret as tears gathered in his eyes.
It was his fault.
The majority of the ceiling finally fell through, sending one, massive section plummeting above Samus's head.
Pit's eyes widened. His heart caught fire. Tears streamed out of his eyes.
Without a thought in his head other than her, he poured everything into the Wings of Pegasus as he blasted in the blonde's direction.
"SAMUS!"
Master Hand was on the scene faster than you could say "teleportation." He was interrogating Marth, who had his hands full enough trying to organize the panicked Smashers.
"Marth, what the hell has been going on?! I leave for one little business trip, and the entire Grand Hall collapses! Was this Crazy Hand's doing?! I swear the next time I see him-"
"Master Hand…" Marth waved his hands defensively, "…it wasn't Crazy…"
The glove INSTANTLY got up in the prince's face.
"WELL THEN? WHO WAS IT?! COME ON, SPIT IT OUT!"
Marth scowled.
"Honestly, SIR, shouldn't you be at least a BIT more concerned for the Smashers?! Someone could've gotten hurt, or w-"
Sonic sprinted up to Marth, causing the prince to jump.
"Marth, we've got a few missing…"
The Altean's eyes widened. He pushed Master Hand away and gave his attention to Sonic.
"What? Who's missing?!"
Sonic looked back to the frantic crowd.
"There's no sign of either Pit or Captain Falcon…and come to think of it, I don't think I saw Samus make it out either…"
Marth took a sharp breath as he looked back to the Grand Hall, watching in horror as the whole thing finally caved in, reducing itself to nothing more than a salad bar of assorted rubble. When all had settled, he rushed up to the building and began to dig through the debris.
He waved back to the others.
"Don't just stand there! Come on! We've got missing Smashers!"
The search carried on for about a half hour. Every one of the fighters eventually ended up on the dig, even the villains, else they would have gotten nasty looks. Master Hand, and even Crazy Hand (who wanted to build a sand castle for some reason), proved to be quite efficient at moving rubble, as they were nothing more but two, giant hands with telekinetic powers.
When they turned up empty handed, however, Marth sat down and took a huge sigh. He buried his head in his hands, frustrated at himself. All hung their heads.
"Pi! Pika, pi!"
Marth's head shot up to find Pikachu standing on his hind legs before him, something white pinched in his little teeth.
It was a feather.
His eyes widened.
"Where are they, boy? Did you find someone?"
The little mouse nodded and dashed over to one side of the rubble, doing his best pointer-impression at one specific chunk of debris.
Marth rushed over, dismayed to find that the section of roof was FAR too massive for him to lift. He called back to the Smashers.
"HEY! Someone give me a ha-"
"I GOT YOU BRO!" Crazy Hand's feverish voice rattled the prince's ears. In a flash the glove had effortlessly snatched up and tossed the hunk of wreckage some distance away, nearly sending it crashing down on Wario. The treasure hunter jumped out of the way just in time.
Crazy Hand formed a gun with his fingers and pointed it in the opened hole.
"COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP! I'VE GOT A LEMON ZESTER HERE AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!"
Marth groaned.
Link walked over and extended the Master Sword into the cavity, allowing the holy light emanating from the blade to illuminate the dark recesses.
The instant the light reflected back, they could see what was at the bottom of the fissure.
The pale, glossy sheen of the Mirror Shield.
Link called out.
"He's in here!"
A voice emanated from the crack.
"Link? Is that you?"
Link's smile grew huge.
"He's alive! Pit, where are you?!"
"Here."
The Mirror Shield was lowered, revealing Pit's scratched-up face.
Marth took a relaxed sigh.
"Don't worry, bud, we're going to get you out of there-"
"I'm not alone down here."
The Smashers eventually surrounded the hole.
"What? Who else is down there?" Ike asked.
Pit shuffled a little to the left, revealing the unconscious face of Samus Aran, safe and sound.
Again, another relaxed sigh from Marth.
"Alright, good. That's two Smashers found. Any chance CF's down there with you?"
Pit shook his head.
Ike grunted as he stood.
"Well, then, can't have you two alone in the dark forever. Something, interesting, might happen." A twinge of humor played in his voice, causing Pit to smile. "Let's get you out of there."
"Please be careful."Pit cautioned. "Her legs were messed up pretty bad."
"Right, got it. Sonic! Go get Dr. Mario!"
It wasn't long until enough rubble had been removed that Pit could squeeze out of the fissure, Samus's limp figure in his arms. Her dress had been torn up pretty severely, so Pit removed his suit coat and wrapped it around her. Sure enough, her legs had been bloodied and crippled.
Dr. Mario was grumbling about being dragged out of bed so late as Sonic led him up to Samus.
"Alright, set her down."
Pit laid her on the ground and kneeled beside her, his heart laden with guilt. Dr. Mario produced a few alcoholic wipes and ran them up and down Samus's wound, causing her to subconsciously grimace. He slowly wrapped some medical gauze around her leg and gave it a soft pat.
"Well, there miraculously don't appear to be any broken bones, but I don't think she'll be able to walk for a while. It might be a good idea to have her stay in the infirmary, if only for a night."
Pit began to sob as he buried his head in her stomach, burdened horribly by the things that had transpired. He never wanted to harm her, but his temper had gotten the best of him. Now she was hurt, and it was all his fault. He wanted to sink into the ground and never exist.
Dr. Mario patted him on the back.
"Don't worry about her, Pit. She'll be the Samus we all know and fear within days. Come on. Let's get her to the infirmary."
Silently, Pit rose, scooping the fallen huntress up in his arms.
It was much later that night, around 1 in the A.M., when Samus finally awoke. She groaned as she rolled over to one side, grabbing at her covers reflexively. Her legs slid around in her bed sheets, rubbing against her patched shins. The sharp pain brought her fully to her senses. Slowly she winced and parted her eyelids.
She was in the infirmary, she could tell, due to the white-washed beds that lined the walls, parallel to hers. A few stainless steel medical tools laid out like an arsenal on the counter glittered brightly in the moonlight, which was flooding in from the main window. The tile floor looked cold and unforgiving, so Samus decided to stay snuggled in her covers.
Curious of the pain that had stung her before, she peeked under the sheets, finding her legs wrapped up in medical tape. She smirked sarcastically.
Her legs weren't the only thing tied up in something, however. A suit coat had been wrapped around her frame, keeping her in the dark about the condition of her dress. It seemed to have a few tears in it as well…
…two, slit-like tears on the back…
Hear ears caught what sounded like someone coming down the hall. Hurriedly, but without a real reason why, she re-covered herself and laid flat on her back, pretending she was asleep.
By peeking out of the corners of her squinted eyes, her heart warmed a bit as Pit tiptoed through the door, an air of depression about him.
The angel didn't know he was being watched as he solemnly strode over to Samus's bedside. He sat down in one of the folding chairs, hung his head, and took a small sigh.
"…hey, Samus."
Samus found it hard to stifle a laugh as he began to talk, unbeknownst to him that she was actually awake.
"…I'd just like to say…I'm sorry."
He stole another sigh.
"If it wasn't for me, none of this would have ever happened. Not just with the Grand Hall collapsing, but with all of it. If I wasn't so scared of you, maybe Falcon wouldn't have talked to you in the first place, maybe he would have thought that I was good enough for you."
She fought hard to keep the corners of her lips from twitching into a smile as he continued to talk.
"…but he's right. I'll never be good enough for you, Samus. I never could be. You're the most perfect girl I've ever seen, and I'm just…me. You deserve someone better."
He gave a dry chuckle.
"…especially someone who won't send an entire hall crashing down on your head."
His humor died quicker than a moth in a bug zapper.
"…I'm really glad you're not awake to hear this. I must sound like a complete idiot."
"Yeah, you kinda do, honestly." Samus sat up and started speaking, scaring the angel out of his wits.
"S-SAMUS! H-HOW MUCH OF T-T-THAT DID Y-YOU HEAR?"
She shrugged nonchalantly.
"All of it. And I have to say, I disagree."
"D-Disagree? Disagree w-with what?"
She sighed, smiled, and beckoned him closer with her finger. He obliged a little hesitantly, slowly standing out of his chair and shuffling to her bedside.
"I think you're perfect for me. Don't let anyone ever tell you different. I never want anyone else by my side."
He seemed unsure. He looked down to the sheets and blushed as she began to stroke his hair.
Slowly, he looked back up, eyes wide and trembling.
"But…why? Why me? What do you see in me?"
It took a second for her to respond. The sweet moonlight radiating from the window was now pitch-perfect in its angle behind Pit, causing the brilliant beams to reflect and shine off the silvery down of his wings. His delectable hair had been ruffled even more by Samus's touch, advertising itself as a playful chocolate swirl. His skin was like candy, so sugary and pure that it made Samus's mouth water. His irises were like moons of their own, glowing with a tantalizing luminosity compromised of a breathtaking, uncorrupted sapphire, generously shedding an otherworldly light over the surrounding darkness. She could hear her heart begin to pound in her chest, enticed by the angel before her.
"Well… there are a few things I like about you…"
His gorgeous eyes widened.
"Y-yes?"
She took a breath.
"Well, I really like how you're always so kind to everyone, even if it is a little soft. I really love how innocent you are, and how you're always so oblivious. I think it's really sweet how you're always putting me first. Not a lot of guys tend to."
Pit blushed hard and looked back down to the bed sheets. However, a small smile stayed put on his lips.
"Oh…and there's one other little thing…"
He looked up.
"…hmm?"
Her arm suddenly lashed out and grabbed him sharply by the collar.
Her voice sunk into a deep, sensual tone.
"You're also the sexiest freakin' thing I've ever seen…"
"S-!"
He wasn't able to respond as Samus yanked him into a fierce, hard kiss. He blushed furiously as she wrapped her arms around his head and pulled him down to the bed, right on top of her. She broke the lip lock for a split second to grab a hot breath, then sunk her teeth hungrily into his exposed neck. He whimpered in pain.
"S-Sa-!"
Ignoring him, she lashed her tongue up the side of his face, savoring the luscious taste of his milky skin. She sat up with him and began to rend his already torn suit, shredding the front of his shirt with her fingernails, ravenous for his skin's velvety texture. She flung the shreds carelessly off the side of the bed, and then ran her claws down his chest.
She swiftly bound his torso in her arms and jerked him closer, placing her head over his shoulder, giving her free reign to bite into his delicious wing. Pit screamed.
But he liked it.
Pit melted into her ferocious embrace as she lapped at the bite mark in his wing, sending shivers streaking through his back.
She clawed at his cheeks, once again drawing him into a relentless kiss. Her tongue speared through his lips without warning, causing his heartbeat to spike. Timidly he met hers with his, feeling overwhelmed as she slithered her starved tongue around it. She pulled him back down to the bed and began to devour his throat, biting at it hungrily.
Pit tore himself free of the huntress's bewitching hold and suspended himself above her, while her voracious lips curled into a saddened frown.
"S-Samus…you're…you're hurting me…" He whined, confused and afraid.
The huntress simply raised a finger to his lips.
"Shhhh…just let it happen…" She cooed.
Pit, still a little unsure, simply cowered back a bit. Samus smiled sympathetically and embraced him in a soft, motherly hug. Slowly, she brought him down to her plush, comfortable chest. He gradually relaxed as she nestled him in her bust, stroking his hair. A deep, loving sigh emanated from him as all settled down.
She planted a small, tender kiss on his forehead.
Then one on his temple.
Then one on his cheek.
Then a cute, playful smooch on the tip of his nose.
Pit giggled sweetly. Samus smiled.
Moving her lips down a little more, Samus began to sample the delicate taste on Pit's mouth, while he gradually grew more comfortable. Her tongue advanced slowly through his teeth, like a traveler through a gate, and was welcomed by the angel, who was much more content with the huntress moving at this speed. He joined tongues with her, and they exchanged passionately for a little while.
Samus picked up speed, warping her lips against his a tad more violently. Pit was about to retreat, but Samus slowed down again and squeezed his palm in hers, relaxing him. He became passive, allowing her to rule over him, dominating the kiss as she increased its ferocity.
He relished the hurried sound of her breath as her exhales became small moans, her inhales sharp gasps. He reached up and touched her cheek, causing her to shiver with happiness. He reached down and tickled the side of her waist, savoring the sound of a sweet giggle from her in turn. Now eager to please her further, his hands explored her body, caressing anything he could get his hands on.
Samus moaned loudly as his hands fell on her breasts. He hesitated, making sure he was clear to proceed. The huntress nodded her blushing head in response to his hungered gaze.
He smiled. Slowly, his hands massaged her bust, causing her to grip the bed sheets as she whimpered in mixed pleasure and pain. He gave both a soft squeeze in his hands, causing Samus to bite her lip and groan happily. She melted into the bed as he released her from his grip, hands above her head, fully exposed to him. Pit leaned in and kissed her neck, licking it periodically, much to the huntress's pleasing.
His head rose just a bit, unsure of how to follow. Samus gave a blushing grin. He was so innocent.
She nudged his arm with her shoulder, licking at her dress strap, and hinting him to remove it. With a small pause, he drew a hand up her chest and onto her shoulder, whereas he pinched the string in his fingers and slowly brought it down onto her arm…
…she produced a soft moan as it fell, causing the angel to-
"Hey, Pit, you in here?"
Both Pit AND Samus's eyes widened to impossible proportions. Slowly turning his head, the angel spotted Zelda, who was walking into the infirmary, oblivious to what she had just interrupted.
The princess's wandering eyes fell on the two in bed.
She gaped.
Pit literally flew off the huntress.
"ZELDA! H-HOW LONG HAVE-?!"
Samus sighed.
"…and just when things were starting to get good…"
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
AND IT'S DONE! THERE YOU HAVE IT, FOLKS! HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS LITTLE ESCAPADE WITH THE DANCE! AND DON'T WORRY, THERE'S CERTAINLY MORE HUMOR AND FLUFF TO COME!
MARTH: I THINK YOUR CAPS LOCK IS STUCK, DUDE.
…thanks.
But yeah, RedheadRenegade, I hope you liked how I played out your idea. I had to change up and add a few things, but I hope that's okay.
Oh, by the way, if you couldn't tell, Marth's totally the responsible one in our little friend group. It's not even a contest. Link and Ike are too big of trolls, and Pit…well…he's Pit. We'll leave it at that.
I believe that this is the first time Dr. Mario has made an appearance in any of my fanfics. Woo! Way to be fashionably late, doc.
And don't worry, CF's not dead. I'll explain more about that in the following updates.
You know guys, something that really angers me (going into gush mode, watch out) is the fact that Nintendo didn't make Wii U games that you could play on the Wii. I mean, I know it makes perfect business sense not to, but coming from the customer's point of view, and with all the cool Wii U games coming out, like Rayman Legends, SSBU, and Wind Waker HD, it really sucks. I love my Wii and all…but the times…they move forward….
I actually think that I'll just buy the old GameCube version of the Wind Waker and just play it on my Wii with a GameCube controller. Lower quality, but a heck of a lot cheaper than actually buying a Wii U. Wii U-lacking viewers, please sympathize with me.
Alright guys, serious time. Thanksgiving Break's over, as you know, and therefore, I will have A LOT less free time in the approaching days. So I wouldn't expect an update on any of my stories for at least a little while. Sorry guys, but that's the way it has to be. So for the moment, I shall be gone.
Smashers: NO!
Pit: Please don't leave! We're purposeless without you!
I'm sorry…*author spreads angel wings and takes off*…but I must go…
Link: No! Wait! Don't leave us alone!
*author flies wistfully into the sunset*
*the sunset is apparently restricted airspace*
*gets shot down by A-10 Thunderbolt II attack jets*
AHH NO MY WINGS *falls to the ground in a burning fireball*
All joking aside, check out the monthly poll, read The Kind-Hearted E.T. (that story needs a little more love), and above all else, have a great rest of the year!
Thanks for the read! God bless!
