Chapter Seven: The Boyfriend
I don't know OHSHC. I only own Akari
Akari didn't like the whole fiasco that was happening right now. Currently she was standing in the music room in a white dress while the boys were in servant outfits because they were helping a little boy get a girl. Talk about young love. Luckily Akari had pockets in this dress to hold her phone, and she was lucky that her phone was on silent. When they were all done, Akari checked her phone to see she had a missed call.
"I got to take this call," Akari told her friends, "I'll be right back." Akari walked away and went into the changing room, locked the door and went to the farthest place in the back. She knew her friends might be ease-dropping on her so she decided she wasn't going to take that risk.
"Who do you think Akari is talking to?" Hunny-sempai asked Mori.
"Hm," Mori-sempai replied.
"She's been glued to her phone lately," Haruhi told them.
"Even I've noticed," Tamaki told them.
"Do you think someone is blackmailing her? Hunny asked the group.
"No," Kyoya stated, "She would have been worried, she seemed quite happy to take that call."
"Let's go ease drop!" Hikaru and Kaoru spoke together. The whole gang went to the door, to find out that they couldn't really hear anything.
"She's smart, she probably knew that we might of ease dropped," Haruhi spoke. Then Akari walked out of the room. She saw all of the hosts standing right next to the door.
"I knew you guys were going to ease drop," Akari told them. "I have a surprise for you guys tomorrow, so you'll have to be paitent."
"Really Ari-chan?" Hunny-sempai whined.
"Actually, Takashi will already know, but he's good at keeping secrets!" Akari cheered.
"Yeah," Mori-sempai agreed.
Akari and Takashi were walking home from school.
"Takashi," Akari spoke out of the quiet walk, "We have to pick up someone at the airport is that cool with you?"
"It's cool, we just have to go home first," Takashi reminded her, "You're deal with mom and dad was that you'd tell them everywhere you are going for now until you graduate."
"I know, I know," Akari replied, "I'm just so excited! Now, I won't feel as lonely in this small world after all."
"You have the host club," Takashi spoke.
"I do, but I feel left out sometimes," Akari admitted to her older brother. "At least he would understand."
Mori didn't comment but he knew who exactly was coming to Japan. Akari and Mori finally reached their house and let their parents know that they were heading to the airport. Akari was taking more responsibility in her life, and not freaking out her parents with disappearing so often. The both got in the limo cab and headed towards the airport.
"You've never met him huh?" Akari asked her brother.
"No," Takashi admitted.
"That's right, I met him in England," Akari said, "He's really nice, and caring. Don't be rude."
"I won't, whatever or whoever makes you happy, makes me happy," Takashi told her.
"Thank you," Akari thanked. They got to the airport and waited for Akari's special person to arrive. They waited about a few minutes and then Akari she's the one person she missed for about a year. She ran to him, and he dropped his bags to catch her and spun her around.
"Akari!" the boy smiled. "I've missed you so much."
"I've missed you too," Akari replied, "I want you to meet my brother Takashi Morinozuka, but most people call him Mori." Akari pointed to Takashi. The boy walked over to Mori and bowed.
"Hello," the boy said, "I'm Alfie Archer. My family owns a mansion here in Japan, along with famous restaurants around the world, but we'd rather enjoy life than being smothered with money all the time."
"As long as my sister is happy, it's okay," Mori-sempai spoke to Alfie.
"Thank you, Takashi," Alfie spoke. Alfie turned to Akari, "What now?"
"Well, did you tell your grandparents that you were here?"
Alfie nodded, "Yeah, but I told them I'd drop off my luggage first then head out with you to explore."
"That's great!" Akari cheered, "Do you wanna come Takashi?"
Mori-sempai looked at his sister and boyfriend, "No, I'll pass. I'll just come with you to Alfie's house, then go home."
Then those three headed to Alfie's house and dropped off his luggage but first, they met his grandparents.
"Alfie!" a old but sweet voice called out. An elderly woman walked down the stairs to greet her grandson.
"Grandma, it's so good to see you," Alfie hugged warmly, "I want you to meet my girlfriend Akari, and her brother Takashi Morinozuka."
Alfie's Grandma walked over to Akari and gave her a big hug, and then did the same thing to Takashi, "Thank you for keeping my grandson company. Akari, every time I talk to him, you are always in the conversation. He speaks good things don't worry."
"That's good to know," Akari spoke. "I'd like to show your grandson around Japan, is that okay?"
"It's okay!" Alfie's grandma agreed, "Call me, Cho and Alfie, your grandfather Yuuto will be home later tonight, so be back before then okay?"
"Yes ma'am," Alfie answered and then left with Akari and Takashi.
Akari was currently sitting her room. She had a wonderful night. She finally got to see her boyfriend. She had seen him a little bit before she flown to Japan. Akari was happy that he decided to transfer schools. He was in the same grade as Tamaki and Kyoya, so it wasn't as bad.
"Maybe all of the girls will stop being jealous," Akari thought aloud. She looked over to the clock to see it was almost midnight. She decided to text Alfie, "Ready for school tomorrow?" She waited for her phone to buzz. Seconds later it went off.
Akari opened up her phone to see a new message. It read, "Oh yeah! I'm kind of nervous but I'm excited to meet the rest of your friends too! I already have my schedule. They sent in the mail, I'm in class 2-A."
"I have friends in there, so you won't be that alone, but they won't know who you are until later," Akari texted him back.
"True, I think I'll go to bed now, Ari. I love you," Alfie texted her.
"I love you too, and I'll see you tomorrow at the host club like we agreed," Akari responded and then turned off her lights in her room and laid in bed eagerly waiting for a deep slumber.
Akari woke up the next morning really excited. She got out of bed slowly. She wasn't that excited to jump out of bed. Akari dressed in her modified uniform and waited for her brother to get ready as well.
"Takashi!" Akari called from the bottom of the staircase, "Are you ready?"
"I'm coming!" Mori-sempai responded to his little sister.
"Good! I want to hurry up, we are late!" Akari yelled back.
"Sorry!" Mori-sempai ran downstairs, "This isn't a usual occurrence I promise, but you are going to have to tell Alfie that you'll meet him in the club later. This gives Kyoya and Tamaki to check him out and his records don't have anything related to you since you are only dating him, not engaged or married."
"That is so true," Akari spoke, "This gives me a good relief off my shoulders until club time."
Akari and Takashi walked out of the house greeted by Hunny-sempai.
"Hello Hunny!" Akari greeted with a smile.
"Hello Ari-chan, Takashi," Hunny greeted with his stuffed bunny in his hands. "Ready for today?"
"Of course, there's also a special surprise at the host club later," Akari explained as they started to get into the limo.
"Is it about the phone call you had yesterday?" Hunny-sempai asked his cousin.
"Of course," Akari responded. "It sucks that I have to wait until the host club to see everyone's reaction. It'll be interesting."
"I bet!" Hunny-sempai cheered.
Tamaki walked in his classroom cheerful as ever. His best friend Kyoya was already in the classroom writing in his notebook.
"Good Morning Kyoya!" Tamaki greeted and sat down in his chair in front of him.
"Good Morning," Kyoya responded back still looking at his notebook.
"Why are you so interested in your notebook today?" Tamaki asked. He looked at his friend and was just confused. It was an ordinary day nothing interesting was happening right?
"Apparently a new student is transferring today and I have all the details about him in my notes," Kyoya explained. He finally looked up at his friend. "Apparently he's going to be in this class. We will see if he might be fit for the host club."
"Well, what does your information say?" Tamaki asked leaning in his chair turned away from Kyoya.
"This newcomer is British and isn't a commoner like Haruhi so it's not like we have to teach him anything. I'll leave the rest a surprise."
Tamaki thought really hard, "Having a British man in our club will definitely attract people. Depends if he is attractive enough to even fit the standards. He just has to feel right Kyoya!"
Kyoya looked at Tamaki with a small smile, "Your gut instincts never fail before, so why now?"
The bell rang to inform the students to gather in the classroom to start the day.
"Attention students of 2-A, we have a new student joining us for the rest of the year," the homeroom teacher informed. "Please welcome Archer, Alfie." The new student walked in the classroom with a gleaming smile.
"Hello, my name is Alfie and I'm glad to be here. I hope we all can be good friends," Alfie announced and then sat down in a available seat. The murmurs were already spreading the classroom.
"Oh he's such a hottie!"
"I would date him in a heartbeat!"
"He's so cute!"
Tamaki and Kyoya looked at each other with a nod. The rumors settled it. They were going to ask the new kid to work in the Host Club.
Alfie was enjoying his day at Ouran. He didn't get any chances to even spend time with his girlfriend, but that's only because he was being pulled around by escorts and girls swooning over him. It was basically the end of the day, but he had to make sure he knew where everything was. Soon though he ended up in front of Music Room #3.
"I'm pretty sure this was the place Akari was talking bout," Alfie told himself. He opened the door to find 6 boys and a girl sitting around a couch.
"Welcome!" the members of the host club greeted.
"Uh hello," Alfie waved awkwardly. "What is this?"
"This is the host club," Tamaki announced, "AH you're Alfie Archer! The new transfer student from England! It's so good to finally meet you!"
Alfie was a bit shocked, but then remembered that Tamaki was in the same class as he. He looked at the members and saw a two others he knew like Kyoya, but he also knew Takashi Morinozuka but he didn't want them to know that.
"Yes, welcome Mr. Archer to the host club," Kyoya greeted. "We have a proposition for you."
"What is it?" Alfie asked. He put his stuff down and walked over to the couch to sit. He didn't see Akari yet, and was kind of worried.
"I've been noticing all the rumors lately and the ladies here at Ouran Host Club seem to have an attraction towards you. Since this is a host club, and we gain profit from all the ladies who come to see us, we don't want any profit being taken away," Kyoya explained. Alfie was beginning to understand where this is going.
"He basically wants you to be a host," a familiar voice to all was spoken out. "I don't agree."
"AKARI!" the whole room spoke out of surprise.
"What are you doing here? I thought you still had video club?" Tamaki asked her.
"Well, we got done early," Akari sighed, "I was hoping I would beat him here."
"Who?" Hikaru asked.
"Alfie," Akari answered. "Alfie here, is my boyfriend. That was my surprise to all of you. Well it's a surprise."
"We didn't know," Hunny told his cousin.
"That's okay Hunny-sempai. I didn't tell you all on purpose. If I told you all, then you would be asking me questions. I didn't want to be bombarded."
Alfie ran over and hugged his girlfriend. Tamaki was was like a fatherly figure and a very protective person of both of the girls was not liking that contact at all.
"AH! I do not approve of this form of contact!" Tamaki yelled and then separated the two from each other. "Please stand 6 inches away from each other when near." Tamaki grabbed a measuring tape and measured six inches from the two.
"Isn't that a bit much?" Alfie asked. Akari looked at her boyfriend with a smile.
"He's always like this," Akari answered, "It's far worse with Haruhi."
"I can see why," Alfie answered.
"Wait!" Haruhi called out, "You know my secret?"
Alfie looked at the girl who was dressed like a boy, "Well duh. Only an idiot would not be able to tell that you are a girl."
All of the host club members dead panned.
"Haha," Akari laughed, "It's true though. This school is full of idiots, but honestly its more like common sense smarts. Everyone here is too focused on trying to take over their family businesses."
"Since you know Haruhi's secret, you have to be a member!" Tamaki pointed at him. "We can't let this secret get out no matter what!"
"You're serious," Akari sighed, "Well, I guess you have my permission. There's no reason to fight with him. And if any of the girls give you a hard time, I'll fix it for you."
"Haha thanks babe," Alfie smiled. "I actually have to get home today. Akari would you like to come with me?"
Akari looked over at Takashi. He gave her a silent nod. "Yeah, I would love too." Alfie held out his arm and Akari grabbed it and they both walked out of Music Room #3 together.
"Would you look at that," Kaoru spoke, "To think she has a boyfriend, but the question is how?"
"She met him while she was in England," Takashi started to explain. He was looking out the window, watching his sister walk with Alfie, "He treats her right, and that's all matters."
"So that's who she was texting with," Haruhi spoke aloud.
"Yeah," Takashi replied.
"That's really nice," Hunny-sempai spoke softly, "Ari-chan deserves this happiness."
"Well, that was excitement for today," Haruhi spoke, "So how would he fit in the host club?"
"Well, since he is from England, most girls do fall for that type," Kyoya explained, "He would be considered 'The Foreigner'."
"YES! That's it!" Tamaki exclaimed, "Our Host Club is complete!"
"Now we just got to show Alfie the ropes and actually tell him tomorrow!" Hikaru explained.
"Yeah! This is exciting!" Kaoru agreed with his brother.
Alfie was in the host club room during club hours chatting with tons of the girls.
"You girls have extraordinary lives here in Japan! I love it!" Alfie smiled to the ladies. Akari was watching from afar.
"It's quite nice a bit. He's having fun, which is okay with me. I don't mind hiding the relationship. I can always announce it after he graduates," Akari spoke to Kyoya who was standing right next to her. "No harm to your host club and no harm to any gossip rumors. Besides, I like hanging around you guys and it gives me an excuse to be here."
"You make good deals, Akari." Kyoya said to her. "I would have to agree."
"Well, I did get lessons on management from my old friend and manager Trixie," Akari explained. "I talk to her time to time asking about those certain things and to see how she is doing."
"You seem to have lots of friends," Kyoya deduced.
"True, but you guys would be the closest out of all of them," Akari answered. She looked over to Alfie once again. He gave her a quick glance then returned to talking to his guests. "At least I don't have Tamaki snooping around ever corner watching both of us."
"Haha," Kyoya laughed.
"What's so funny?" Akari asked.
"The concept of relationships with Tamaki," Kyoya explained. "He can't see it for himself about a certain someone."
"Oh I see," Akari sighed. She looked over at the clock and the club was going to close.
"Alright everyone!" Tamaki called out from the couch. "The host club is ending for today! I will see Princesses tomorrow!"
All the girls left which left the host club in the room.
"Hey Alfie!" Hikaru and Kaoru spoke.
"You're not-" Kaoru spoke.
"That bad," Hikaru finished.
"Thanks guys," Alfie spoke. "Glad to know I'll be useful here. It was actually a nice experience."
Haruhi walked over to the group after cleaning up the place, "Hey guys, I'm leaving for the night. I'll see you all tomorrow." Haruhi waved goodbye and left the room.
"You know the plan right?" Tamaki asked all of the sudden.
"NO?" Akari, Alfie, Hunny, Mori, Hikaru and Kaoru answered together.
"It's such a shame, I thought we were all on the same wavelength as a family!" Tamaki dramatically said.
"We have no idea what you're talking about boss," Hikaru spoke.
"We're not telepathic," Kaoru said.
"We are going on a trip to Kyoya's amusement park which is a water park," Tamaki explained.
"Oh," everyone else said. Hikaru and Kaoru suddenly got a nice smirk to appear on their lips.
"This is gonna get good!"
