Chapter Eight: Water Park Jungle
I don't know OHSHC. I only own Akari
Italics are thoughts
Akari, Alfie and the rest of the gang was currently in Kyoya's family water park. Haruhi was forced here but she was totally amazed on how much it looked liked a jungle. Akari was staring at Haruhi's outfit though because it was the ugliest outfit ever. Akari was currently wearing a two piece swimsuit. The top was a black ruffled bandeau with black boyshort bottoms. Alfie was wearing a regular swimming trunks that were the same color black as Akari's swim suit.
Akari and Alfie walked together to the chairs to watch Hunny and Mori-sempai play in the wave pool. Hikaru and Kaoru were getting pumped up to play a game with Tamaki.
"I'm gonna try the slide, wanna come with me?" Akari asked Alfie.
"Nah, I'm gonna hang out here and just enjoy it while I can. You go on ahead," Alfie turned down her offer.
"Sure," Akari walked off to go enjoy the water slide. Alfie on the other hand walked over to the twins, Haruhi, and Tamaki. They were gathered in a circle bickering again.
"I was only trying to protect her innocence!" Tamaki yelled.
"So that's why she's wearing that ugly outfit?" Alfie asked. "No offense Haruhi."
"None taken," Haruhi responded.
"No one's here and she's wearing that get up," Alfie explained, "She should be able to wear a bathing suit to enjoy a pool."
"A young lady should not be showing off her body like that until she is married!" Tamaki explained.
"But I thought you would love to see Haruhi in a bathing suit anyways?" Kaoru asked.
"Yeah, I thought he be, I wanna see Haruhi in a swim suit! Type of deal," Hikaru mimicked.
"Why are we here guys?" Haruhi asked. "We could of just had a plastic pool and enjoyed ourselves instead of coming here."
"A plastic pool?" Tamaki, Hikaru and Kaoru asked having no idea what the item was. Alfie on the other hand actually knew what it was, and surprisingly Akari knew what it was too.
Haruhi gave the three rich boys a vague description of what one looks like. Alfie just listened while watching Akari playing in the pool with Hunny-sempai. Akari got out of the pool to drag Alfie in the pool as well.
"C'mon Fee, let's go swimming and enjoy our day off!" Akari cheered as she grabbed Alfie's hand. The two lovebirds ran into the pool as they all heard a noise from a familiar girl.
"hohohohohohoho!"
Renge somehow just appears out of the ground. It was really astonishing to Akari, because she was just thinking who would do that first of all. Of course Tamaki wasn't complaining about Renge's swim outfit and didn't complain about Akari's either.
"Boss, why aren't you saying anything about Renge's outfit?" Hikaru asked.
"Yeah, you only complained about Haruhi's!" Kaoru exclaimed.
"Because, Renge's outfit is cosplay," Tamaki said, "As long as it's cosplay, it's okay. Akari's outfit, well, that's Alfie's decision."
"We still don't get it," Hikaru and Kaoru said at the same time. The boys wandered off to find some water guns, so they could play a game with Tamaki. Haruhi just sat at the nearest table with Mori.
"Taking a break, huh? You want something to drink?" Haruhi asked.
"Yeah, thanks," Mori thanked.
"You're definitely much quieter when Akari isn't around." Haruhi stated, "She really brings out the best in you huh?"
"Yeah," Mori answered watching his little sister in the pool. Hunny even joined the two. On the other side, the twins and Tamaki were having a fantastic time, but of course them being stupid, Tamaki hit a totem pole that shook the whole entire pool wave area.
"Hunny senpai! Akari! Alfie!" Haruhi called out, worried for her friends. Hunny, Akari, and Alfie turned their bodies towards the massive wave that hit all three of them. When the wave calmed down, Akari, Alfie and Hunny were no longer in sight.
Tamaki was the one to announce that they were all gonna search for those trio. "Gentlemen, we're going after Honey senpai, Akari, and Alfie! That pool looks like the quickest way! Charge!" They all took off running, except Kyoya who knew better.
"Wait! I wouldn't go..." Kyoya called out, but the group eventually found out the hard way.
"There are alligators in there!" everyone who ran screamed and then ran the other way.
"Okay, so we can't choose that pool! Then let's try this way next!" Tamaki declared. Eventually they found out that there was alligators in the same spot as well. There were alligators everywhere.
"What's with all the alligators?" Haruhi turned to her friends.
Tamaki just shrugged his shoulders, "Beats me." Kyoya, of course explained why.
"Those alligators belong to the park's tropical animals exhibit. I guess it is kind of dangerous to let them run wild. Though, the cause of our present situation seems to be the location of the switch for the current pool. I'll have to have a little chat with our designers. Thanks a lot, you guys. I got some great data today," Kyoya wrote down every little detail in his notebook.
"You what!?" everyone yelled furiously.
Kyoya pulled out a map to show the group on where everything is and how it was connected. "This is a map of the Tropical Aqua Garden. This is our current location." Kyoya pointed to the area were they were at. "We need to get here." Kyoya pointed to a jungle like area. "I have a feeling that's where Honey senpai, Akari, and Alfie probably ended up. It might be tough because to get there, we'll have to make it through this jungle area, here in the southern block. Distance wise we're talking about 800 meters."
Haruhi took a good look at the park's map. "Looks like there are a lot of undeveloped areas. Any idea what might be lurking in those parts of the jungle?"
Kyoya though pretty hard, "Since they're still being developed, I'm afraid I don't know."
Hikaru spoke his thoughts out loud, "Whatever's out there could be even more dangerous..."
"...than alligators," Kaoru finished the sentence.
Tamaki finally got a spark of confidence, "All right! Now, this is a mission of survival! I know we can make it through the treacherous jungle in one piece. It is our sworn duty to save Honey senpai, Akari, and Alfie!"
They all decided to walk in a steady fast pace, but slow enough where everyone could keep up, and also to make sure they wouldn't run into anything dangerous. They eventually walked into the jungle and were walking for a good distance.
"Wow, this place is just like a real jungle, huh?" Tamaki commented.
"Yeah, and I keep hearing all these really strange animal calls," Haruhi spoke out loud.
Hikaru spoke, "You don't think that all those animal sounds..."
"...could belong to the real thing, do you?" Kaoru looked at his brother.
Kyoya pondered, "To be honest, I'm not sure, but I do know that my family always strives for authenticity whatever the cost."
Haruhi deadpanned. She looked over towards Mori. "Mori senpai is always so straight-faced. I can never tell what he's thinking, but even though he's doing a good job of staying calm, I'm sure he's worried."
Hikaru along with his brother looked at Mori. "Mori senpai is..."
"...acting as clumsy as you do, boss." Kaoru finished.
Tamaki felt embarrassed, "Shut up!"
Haruhi nodded, "Just as I thought. He is worried."
Kyoya looked up at the sky or ceiling. It started to get a bit dark, which meant rain. "Uh oh, it's about time for the squall." As soon as he said that, it started to pour rain. Everyone rain to a nearby gazebo. While they were in the gazebo, Haruhi decided to get a few questions answered.
"Hey Mori senpai, you seem to be really close to Honey senpai. Are the two of you like childhood friends? I understand why you would be worried for Akari and Alfie, but not Hunny sempai."
Hikaru was shocked, "You mean you don't know..."
"...that they're cousins?" Kaoru finished.
"You're kidding me. They're related?" Haruhi was shocked. "How did I not know this?"
"The Morinozukas have been serving the Haninozuka family for generations," Kyoya explained.
Hikaru continued the explanation, "However, two generations ago, the families became relatives by marriage and the master-servant relationship soon became a thing of the past."
Kaoru also spoke, "But even so, Mori senpai has always made a point to accompany Honey senpai."
"Then what about Akari?" Haruhi asked.
"She is the only girl born out of both families. She was treasured and protected dearly. That's probably why she has the attitude she has today," Kyoya explained.
Tamaki stared out at the jungle, "Must really get his blood going. The blood of a loyal servant flows like a mighty river through Mori senpai's vein."
Hikaru and Kaoru faked sobbed, "Such a beautiful story! I'm touched!"
Haruhi looked at her friends, "I don't know if I call it a beautiful story. I'm not sure I understand all this blood and loyalty business, but it's obvious that Mori senpai thinks an awful lot of Honey senpai."
Haruhi walked over to Mori, "Hey Mori senpai, it's gonna be all right. I'm sure that they are all safe. They are a lot tougher than you might think they are, and if they get hungry, the trees are full of bananas."
Hikaru and Kaoru looked at Haruhi like she was crazy, "Bananas?"
Tamaki and the twins watched the little scene carefully. "What's he going to say?"
Mori just smiled at Haruhi and patted her head, "You're right." This of course made Tamaki freak out.
"Don't tell me Mori senpai is after my spot as Haruhi's daddy!" Tamaki exclaimed. He started to fake sob.
Hikaru looked at Tamaki like he was an idiot, which of course, they all were, "Nobody wants that spot but you boss."
Kaoru added, "That's kinda creepy, when you think about it."
Tamaki didn't agree at all, "What? Who're you calling creepy?"
Ignoring that whole conversation, Kyoya was making a phone called to the staff in charge of the resort/waterpark. He thought it might be a good idea since time was being stalled by the squall and more ground would be covered if the search and rescue team was on the lookout.
Kyoya dialed the number and put the phone up to his ear, "Hello, it's me. Well, we've had an incident that's caused some trouble."
Hikaru and Kaoru decided to torment Tamaki while Mori and Haruhi were just not paying attention.
"You're a big-o pervert," Hikaru and Kaoru pointed at Tamaki.
"Shut up! I'm not a perv!" Tamaki's face was red really quick. Mori-sempai had a bright idea on wondering through the forest looking for their friends. Haruhi noticed and decided to follow.
"Mori senpai, you're going the wrong way. Honey senpai, Alfie, and Akari was headed in the opposite direction!"
Mori turned back to look at Haruhi, "You're wrong. They went this way." Mori continued to walk in the direction of his instincts.
"Hey, wait up! It's too dangerous to go alone! I'm coming with you!" Haruhi yelled but everywhere she walked, there was dangerous animals.
Mori stopped and turned to Haruhi, "Haruhi."
Haruhi stopped walking and blushed, "That's the first time he's ever called me by my name." Mori then picked up Haruhi and walked the rest of the way. It was definitely much faster this way.
"Yes, at once, please," Kyoya finished his phone call. He turned towards the twins and Tamaki who were making a fool of themselves.
Hikaru and Kaoru chanted, "Senpai's a perv for Haruhi. Senpai's a perv for Haruhi."
"My family's private police force is going to send in a search and rescue team to help us. They're better equipped to find Honey senpai, Akari, and Alfie than we are. So let's just go back to the gate and wait there," Kyoya explained. He finally got a good look at who was in the gazebo. "Hey, where are Mori and Haruhi?"
The main officer that was in charge gave instructions to all of his subordinates, "Immediate emergency mobilization order. I'll repeat. Immediate emergency mobilization order." All of the police force members were rushing out of their building at top speed.
"Master Kyoya's friend has gone missing near the wave pool. Our search target is a small young man.
Orders are to eliminate any suspicious figures. Show them no mercy. Repeat. Eliminate any suspicious figures. Show them no mercy,"
The police force was roaming through the jungle. They searched through every nook and cranny. They saw two shadows, "Target confirmed."
Police force all looked at each other and the head leader spoke through the walkie talkie, "The target has been captured by a suspicious man. We'll take the target into custody." They all planned out how to capture the suspicious figure.
Kyoya pondered on the walk way back to the wave pool, "You know, I don't believe I mentioned to them that there other visitors here." He just shrugged his shoulders. "Oh, well."
Police force were now face to face with the suspicious figure. They all agree that head on assault was the best possible idea to go with. "You there! Put the boy down immediately! If you refuse, we'll remove him forcefully!"
Haruhi paled slightly, "Oh, hold on!" Mori on the other hand, was already watching the moves of the police members. He was ready for a head on attack.
"The suspect is resisting! Prepare to fire warning shots!" The police were getting their guns ready and was about to shoot when they heard familiar voices.
"Takashi, Haru-chan, out of the way!"
Police force turned around to see a small child swinging from the vines, along with a girl and another boy as well.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing, pipsqueak?" one of the members asked. This angered the trio and started to attack back.
"Hunny, I got the left! Alfie take the right! Hunny you'll be fine with what you have!" Akari ordered and then ran to the her fair share of the fight. After a few minutes every single police force was in a pile and stacked up defeated.
Honey waved his finger back and forth, "You guys should be more careful who you mess with.
Picking on my friends is bad. Got it?"
Akari and Alfie were watching Hunny scold the members.
"Can't they be any dumber?" Akari asked. "I thought most of these guys went our dojos. At least they would have recognized Hunny."
"Well, when orders are orders," Alfie suggested, "They usually don't think about anything else." Akari nodded.
"You're right."
Then all of a sudden they heard the loudest voice and the most recongizable voice ever.
"Haruhi! Haruhi, are you all right!?"
Akari and Alfie both sighed. Hunny turned around, "Hey, it's Tama-chan." He was right. Tamaki, Kyoya, Hikaru and Kaoru were currently walking towards the group, well Tamaki was running.
Hikaru was poking one of the police force members. "Oh, wow." Kaoru on the other hand was standing next to his brother and turned to his other friends, "You okay, guys?"
Tamaki on the other hand was smothering Haruhi in a tight hug, "Haruhi! I was so worried."
Hikaru looked at the police force members with pity, "I'm not sure what happened here, but at least they're still alive."
Kaoru kneeled down and looked as well, "It's pretty amazing that this is Honey senpai's work. He must have really been holding back."
"Hey!" Akari shouted and everyone turned around. She pointed at herself and Alfie, "We helped too!"
Haruhi noticed what Hikaru said and then pinched Tamaki's arm to release her from his grip. "Huh? What do you mean he was holding back?"
Kaoru was a bit shocked, "So then..."
"You don't know about senpai? The Haninozukas are famous for their martial arts. Not only have they helped train the police and SDF forces but they've also worked with several overseas militaries," Hikaru explained.
Kyoya decided this was a time for an explanation, "Hunny senpai in particular has been called the dreadnought of the Haninozuka family. By the time he was in middle school, he'd become the national champion in both karate and judo."
Tamaki decided to speak as well, all playfulness aside, "Mori senpai's no slouch either. He won the national championship in kendo when he was just in middle school and Akari she won the national championship in MMA in middle school."
Kaoru looked over to his friends, "So, how were you able to find us guys?"
Hunny, Akari and Alfie just shrugged their shoulders, "It wasn't hard. It didn't take me long to reach the end of the current pool, so I decided to look for you guys."
"We humbly apologize!"
The group of friends looked at all of the police force kneeling on the ground apologizing.
"I am a 2nd-generation student of the Ishizuka Dojo!"
"I am a student of the Todoroki Dojo!"
"And I'm from the Otake Dojo!"
"We are in your debt!"
Akari got near Alfie's ear, "I see, I told ya they all went to our family's dojos." Alfie just smirked.
Hunny was just confused, "Why? Is something wrong?"
"Yes, sir! We're so sorry, sir! We were unaware that we were searching for Mitsukuni Haninozuka, Akari Morinozuka, and Alfie Archer. We've committed a terrible offense here. I apologize for this confrontation, but my Dojo will be so excited to hear that I've come face to face with the great Haninozuka and the Morinozuka siblings. I cherish this moment," one of the police members rambled.
Hunny patted Mori on his head, "Takashi, you did an amazing job of protecting Haru-chan. I bet you were pretty lonely without me around, huh?"
Mori gazed at Haruhi, "I don't know if I'd say that." Hunny just smiled at his best friend. They all decided to head out. It was a tough day for everyone. Akari and Alfie were holding hands, and Tamaki was watching every step Haruhi made, just to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself.
Hikaru pondered on where they should all go next. After all who wants to endure school everyday, "You know, maybe we should go to the beach next."
Kaoru thought about it and nodded his head, "Yeah, the beach would be nice."
Tamaki shook his head, "You idiots, Haruhi is not interested in anything like that."
Haruhi thought about it and just looked up at the sky, "Actually, I might like to go to the beach. I may not be into this silly water park, but I like the ocean. It would be nice to go to the beach and it's so pretty."
Tamaki gave in. He didn't know it, but everyone knew he was whipped. "Yeah. All right. Then that's where we'll go next time."
Hunny just smiled happily while riding on Mori's back, "We're all gonna go to the beach, Tama-chan?
That'll be fun, don't you think?"
Mori just keep his stoic look, "Yeah."
Akari and Alfie were walking behind the rest of the group, but not far away to lose sight.
"I don't think I've been to the beach in forever," Akari admitted. Alfie looked at her.
"Really? Before I got on my flight to come her, I was in Brighton, down at the beach, enjoying the few rare days of it actually being summer and hot."
"I know you are," Akari commented. Alfie gave her a quick peck on the lips.
"Don't let Tamaki catch you doing that often," Akari looked over at the blonde, "He will throw a fit, most definitely."
Okay, don't kill me. I know I haven't been posting frequently. That's not my fault, actually it's partially my fault. Senior year is tough and then extracurricular activities, and then I also got a part time job. I don't know how long this will last. So i barely had time to update and I had procrastination problems. I'm so sorry. I'll try to update faster, but you know I don't make those promises.
