Chapter Nine: PTSD
I don't know OHSHC. I only own Akari
Italics are thoughts
Akari woke up from her nice long relaxing weekend. The jungle pool was nice but way too extreme. She was still wondering when they were going to the beach. It's been a week, and she wasn't getting any younger. She looked at her phone and saw that it was 6:00am. Akari had an hour to get ready for school. She started off with her daily routine of texting Alfie good morning and then stepped into the shower for a good fifteen to twenty minutes and then got dressed for the day. She waited on her brother and then together, they went to go pick up Hunny and Alfie.
"Are you still waiting for the beach Akari?" Alfie asked.
"Of course," Akari nodded, "You can't just tell a girl that there's a trip to the beach but not plan a day. What if I have plans?"
"You don't have plans," Mori spoke, "I distinctly remember you coming back home for school."
"Thanks for ruining my mojo bro. You're right though, but that doesn't mean anything. I just really want to go to the beach," Akari admitted, "I can't just keep waiting, I've done my waiting."
"Maybe today will be the day," Hunny told his cousin. "After all, I'm pretty sure Hikaru and Kaoru are dying to show Haruhi the swimsuit collection their mom just finished making."
Akari looked at her cousin like he was crazy, but smiled, "You're right." She looked up towards the sky. "Today may be the day."
Akari walked into the host club and saw that no guests were there yet.
"Where's everyone at?"
"We are starting later today," Kyoya spoke. "Some people needed to catch up on their studies." Akari followed Kyoya's gaze towards Tamaki.
"Tamaki-sempai," Akari sighed. She then walked over to the couch. The host club didn't start until thirty minutes later, and Alfie wasn't there yet. She around and saw that Haruhi wasn't there either.
"Where's Haruhi?" Akari asked.
"Haruhi is missing!?" Tamaki looked up from his book.
"She's just talking to a teacher about her grades," Hikaru and Kaoru spoke from their table. "She'll be here soon."
"I guess everyone is worried about their grades," Akari spoke.
"Of course," Kyoya stated, "The grade reports are out tomorrow."
Akari just picked up her feet and placed them on the table, "As long as I pass, I really don't care."
"That's some motivation Ari-chan," Hunny spoke to his cousin.
"It's really not," Akari said, "But, as long as I get accepted into University, then it really doesn't matter until then."
Haruhi came running through the doors after that, "Haruhi! Have you seen Alfie?"
Haruhi looked over towards her friend, "Yeah, he was headed towards the nurse's office last time I saw him."
Akari paled a little bit and then remembered something and got up from where she was sitting, "I'll be back." As soon as she was about to leave the room, Alfie walked through the doors.
"Sorry I'm late, I was talking to the nurse," Alfie spoke.
"Everything alright?" Kyoya asked, not remotely concern but out of curiosity.
"Everything's fine," Alfie said then hugged Akari. "I need to talk to you later." Akari just nodded her head and then let go of Alfie and sat down on the couch. Alfie put his items away in the back room. He came back out and then the club did their usually routine and chatted with the guests.
"The beach?" Haruhi asked. Akari was so excited. Hunny was right after all and she was so glad. Hikaru and Kaoru were currently telling Haruhi about the beach.
Hikaru and Kaoru were peeping from a table, "Of course, the beach."
Haruhi put down her magazine and looked at the twins, "But why?"
Hikaru gave her a weird look, "Don't you remember what you said?"
Kaoru continued, "You said you'd like to go to a real beach."
Akari looked at Haruhi like she was dumb. Did she really not remember, or was she playing them? Akari was going to be mad if they didn't go.
"Did I say that?" Haruhi spoke aloud.
Hikaru and Kaoru looked annoyed, "Yes, Haruhi. Here's the fun part."
Kaoru pointed towards all the swimsuits that were currently sitting in the room. "We brought some swimsuits for you to choose from."
Hikaru looked at them all, "Pretty cute, don't you think?" Hikaru pointed towards a specific swimsuit which made Hunny cry out.
"Not that one." Hunny grab a different one and showed the boys, "I think that this swimsuit would look much cuter on Haru-chan."
Hikaru and Kaoru shook their fingers and head.
"I don't think you get it, Honey senpai," Kaoru spoke.
Hikaru criticized the outfit, "Just look. This uniform barely hides the fact that Haruhi is as flat as a cutting board."
"A one-piece suit like that would only upset her because it draws attention to her lacking feminine physique," Kaoru explained.
Hikaru and Kaoru showed him a better outfit, "That's why we carefully selected this two piece suit, see? The ruffles help hide the fact that she's so flat-chested."
Tamaki of course had an image of Haruhi running through the beach in the bathing suit, and then he imagined hitting Hikaru and Kaoru with a baseball bat, "You punks had better quit sexually harassing my little girl! I've had enough of you!"
Hikaru and Kaoru hid behind the nearest table, "That means we're not going to the beach?"
Tamaki took his usual "cool" stance, "Who said that we're not going?"
The twins cheered up automatically, "Really? So you wanna go after all?"
Hunny was glad, "Can Usa-chan come, too?"
"I have no problem with that," Kyoya spoke while writing details in his little black book. Akari and Alfie were pleased. Akari was the most excited one.
Haruhi looked a bit shocked, "Huh? We're really gonna go? Didn't we just have all a vacation?"
Tamaki shrugged his shoulders, "Why not? Let's go to the beach."
Hikaru and Kaoru looked around the beach, "So, why'd we come to Okinawa?"
Tamaki walked next to the twins, "Because Kyoya's family has a private beach here."
Hunny spoke to his cousins, "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
Mori and Akari spoke at the same time, "Yeah." Akari looked at Alfie with a smile. It didn't matter to which beach they went to, as long as they were at one.
Kaoru spoke sadly, "But why couldn't we have gone..."
Hikaru finished, "...to the Caribbean?"
Kaoru added another suggestion, "Or even Fiji?"
Kyoya sighed and closed his book, "Do you think a commoner like Haruhi has a passport?"
Then it clicked into the twins's head, "Ahh."
Haruhi grunted, "You do realize that I can hear what you're saying, right?" They all gathered around to find a place to set up a table and umbrellas to sit under just incase it got too hot or if someone was too tired. The only two disappointed members sitting under the umbrella right now would be Haruhi and Akari.
The girls were currently watching all of the host members flirting with their customers at the beach. That was the main reason they were really upset.
Kyoya spoke up, "Her alone time with Tamaki is up. Next lady, please proceed."
Haruhi mumbled, "This sucks. I thought going to the beach meant a day off."
"You were totally wrong Haruhi, and so was I," Akari spoke. She looked at Haruhi. She was stuck in a regular t-shirt and shorts. Since there was customers around she couldn't be a girl and Akari couldn't hang around her boyfriend.
The class representative was actually a fan of Haruhi and was sitting on the towel blanket with Akari. She looked at Haruhi and tried so hard not to stutter, "Um Haruhi, aren't you going to go swimming with us?"
Haruhi just shook he head and put on her charm, "No, uh, I like looking at the sea from a safe distance." Haruhi patted the ground, signally that she was satisfied sitting there.
"Well, if you're not going to swim, would you mind if we sat here and talked with you?"
Haruhi gave them a questionable look, "But why? You girls should go swim. You've got cute swimsuits on. Why not show them off?"
The girls left Haruhi and Akari alone and decided to go for a swim in the water.
Hikaru sighed and looked at his brother, "I can't believe he fooled us."
Kaoru sighed as well while doodling in the sand, "Who'd have thought he'd bring the ladies with us?"
"We certainly didn't expect it."
Kyoya heard the twins, "You were invited on this all-expenses-paid vacation for a reason and that is to keep our clients entertained."
Hikaru looked at his friend in understanding and disappointment, "We know, but with the ladies here,"
"Haruhi can't change to her swimsuit," Kaoru finished.
Tamaki had a smug look on his face. He apparently took a break from his entertaining to see what his friends were chatting about. "Don't worry. I got it all under control. My little angel shouldn't be prancing around in her swimsuit, at least not in front of two perverts like you. And then, once the sun has begun to set, Haruhi and I will take a romantic stroll along the shore together." Tamaki looked off at the distance while he went into his own little world.
"Oh wow, what a pretty sunset. Oh senpai, I'd love to be with you here forever." Haruhi smiled at Tamaki.
Tamaki was sitting on a beach chair,"It'll happen just like that. The greatest day of my life. I don't know if I can handle it!" Tamaki gushed around on the chair, fangirling over his own thoughts.
A girl looked over at Tamaki with confusion, "What's the matter with Tamaki?"
"Is he having a seizure?" another girl asked with worry.
Hikaru: shook his head, "I wouldn't worry about it."
Kaoru walked over to the girls, "He gets like this occasionally."
"Haru-chan! Ari-chan! Wanna go "hellfish shunting"?
"I think you're trying to say "shellfish hunting"." Haruhi muttered to Akari. Then they gazed the beach from what Hunny just said.
"But this doesn't seem to be that kind of beach, Hunny senpai. You're not gonna find many shell...fish...
What the hell? No way!" Haruhi looked over at where Hunny was and saw tons of shellfish crowded all around like magic.
Akari looked at her friend and just laughed, "Yeah, this beach may not be famous, but miracles do happen in one way or another."
Kyoya walked over to Mori, who was standing on the beach, watching the police force throw out shellfish for Hunny, Akari and Haruhi to find.
"Mori senpai," Kyoya acknowledged. "My family's private police force has stopped by.
They wanted to make up to Honey senpai for attacking him at the water park. So they brought shellfish."
Mori didn't say anything and just watched the trio have fun collecting all the items on the beach.
Hunny looked at all the crabs they got, and it basically filled the whole beach. "Amazing! Look how many we got!"
Akari looked at it all and frowned, "How are we supposed to get this all to the house?"
Haruhi didn't care, she was in thought thinking about how delicious tonight's meal was gonna be, "We're gonna have some fancy side dishes tonight. It's gonna be delicious."
Tamaki being the careful and cautious person he was decided to keep watch, mostly on Haruhi.
"My my, certainly looks like they're enjoying themselves. All's right with the world."
Haruhi saw Tamaki standing near the corner, "Senpai, dinner is gonna be awesome. It's a major haul!"
Akari looked over at Tamaki-sempai, "Just being acknowledge by Haruhi and he goes wild, right Hunny?"
Hunny looked at his cousin with a smile, "Of course, that's Tama-chan for you!"
Tamaki got a hold of a crab and looked towards Haruhi, "Tell me, Haruhi. Isn't this crab crab-tivating?"
Haruhi smiled brightly, "Oh yeah."
Tamaki started fangirling again, "You're so cute."
"CEN- TI- PEDE!"
The girls screamed, except for of course Akari and Haruhi. Haruhi went over to pick up the centipede and walked over to the nearby rock stature and threw it yonder. Hikaru, Kaoru, Alfie and Tamaki watched with curiosity. The twins walked over to their favorite classmate.
"Hey, Haruhi."
Hikaru stood on the right of her, "Now I know most girls aren't really the bug-loving type and I certainly didn't think you were, but..."
Kaoru was on the left of her, "Don't you think you could have been easy on that little guy?"
Haruhi sighed, "Oh come on." Haruhi pointed towards the rock, "It's not dead. It takes a lot more than that to kill a bug."
The girls who were screaming about the tiny little insect was now complimenting about how brave Haruhi was during the whole ordeal. Akari just didn't care and Hunny was still playing in the sand.
Hikaru frowned, "Well, isn't that just great?"
Kaoru was in the same state as his brother, "Haruhi is not normal. I thought girls were afraid of bugs."
Tamaki pondered hard at what the two devils were saying, "I'm sure she's afraid of something..."
Something then sparked in the twins heads. "Hey boss, listen up. We just thought up a new game to play that could be a lot of fun. What do you say? It's called the "Who can find Haruhi's weakness game! So think you're up to it?"
Tamaki looked at them in horrid, "But that game sounds terrible!"
Hikaru pouted and started to walk away, "Yeah, I guess you're right. Besides she'd only share her weakness with someone she was really close to." He silently smirked, because he knew sooner or later their leader was going to give in.
Tamaki rushed over to the twins, "What are the rules?!"
Hikaru and Kaoru laughed, "Now that's more like it."
"The deadline is sunset tomorrow," Hikaru stated.
"Whoever finds out her weakness first wins." Kaoru instructed.
Kyoya walked over to the trio of misfits, "And I have the perfect prize for the game's lucky winner." He showed them pictures of Haruhi in middle school and waved them around so Tamaki couldn't grab them out of his hold.
Hunny yelled, "We wanna play, too!" Mori just nodded at his cousin. Akari and Alfie on the other hand shook their heads.
"I don't like trying to find out her fear," Akari stated, "I rather use my brain on other things."
Kyoya shrugged his shoulders, "I guess that means most of us are competing."
Tamaki didn't care about what he said, "Where did you get those pictures of Haruhi?" That was the one thing he did care about though.
Hunny heard and thought about it too, "Hey wait a minute. Where did you get those pictures, Kyo-chan?"
Kyoya smirked, "I have my sources. How about we just leave it at that for the moment."
Akari just shook her head, she obviously knew that he probably looked up her middle school and found photos from their and just printed them out. It wasn't hard at all.
Akari was tanning along the beach within the eyesight of her older cousin. Apparently Hunny was trying to figure out a good idea to expose Haruhi's fear.
"Hunny, you know that it may be impossible to find out Haruhi's fear in one day," Akari looked at her cousin, while removing the sunglasses from her face.
"I know Ari-chan, it seemed like a fun idea," Hunny admitted. Akari just smiled and went back to tanning. She'd let them have their fun for a while until it got way out of hand. Hunny spotted Haruhi walking out the nearby cave.
"Haru-chan! Would you come over here?"
Haruhi looked over to see Hunny-sempai waving his hands while standing in the back of a huge truck on the beach. She walked over and was shocked.
"What the...? Are you sure it's okay to drive a truck like this on the sand?"
Hunny ignored Haruhi and just smiled and looked at the police officer in charge, "Well, we're ready whenever you are, private police people, please lower the door."
The officer looked at the small blonde and saluted, "Yes, sir." The guard lowered the door and within a few seconds, Hunny started screaming.
"It's dark and scary in here! I feel like I can't breathe!"
Haruhi who was perfectly fine was more worried about Hunny then herself, "Honey senpai, what's wrong?"
"Somebody, let me out! I can't take it any more!"
Akari who was listening from outside just laughed, "This is what you get Hunny." She looked over at the huge truck and saw the doors open and see Hunny leap out of the backside of the truck and into Akari's arms.
Akari looked up at Haruhi, "So not afraid of the dark or of tight closed spaces?" Hunny got over himself and slowly got out of her arms and walked away.
"Nah, I live in a small house anyways, so there is no point on being afraid and I live alone most of the time so I can't be afraid of the dark," Haruhi explained.
"That's true," Akari spoke, "But you can still be afraid of the dark." She walked away leaving Haruhi confused.
Hikaru was sitting on a brick ledge with his brother, "This game is harder than I thought it'd be."
Kaoru sighed, "No joke. I'm totally bored with it already."
Hikaru looked at Haruhi and Alfie trying to play volleyball with Akari and a bunch of other girls, "What kind of heroine is she? She's gotta be afraid of something, right?"
Tamaki who was scooping around nearby made a sound, "Ah ha!"
Hikaru noticed this peak of interest and turned to his friend, "What's up, boss?"
Kaoru looked at Tamaki, "What are you doing?"
Tamaki showed them the bucket he was holding, "I found some rat snakes. Surely she'll freak out when she sees these."
Hikaru looked at his friend, "Anyone would think those are creepy. So it isn't really a weakness." He looked back at the volleyball court to see that the people who were playing before went to do to other things. Then he remembered something.
"Hold on. I thought there weren't any rat snakes in Okinawa."
Haruhi was collecting more side dishes. She wouldn't admit it, but she was a sucker for food. "Another side dish!"
One of the girls who were visiting the host club today were standing on top of the huge rock stature that over look the ocean.
"Look up here, Haruhi."
Another girl was up there as well, "What's up! The breeze up here feels great!"
Haruhi looked up to see them, "It's dangerous. Be careful!"
"Don't worry Haruhi! I'll watch them!" a familiar voice called out and Haruhi looked up to see Akari up there as well.
"This feels so good," one of the girls' enjoyed the breeze flowing through her hair.
"Mm-hmm."
"We shouldn't stay up here too long," Akari told them. "The sun is setting soon."
"You're right Akari," the girl said. They were all about to leave when they heard voices they did not recongize.
"Hey there are chicks up there, man!"
The girls turned around to see two guys walking towards them.
"Aren't we lucky? You ladies wanna hang out with a couple of locals?"
The leader of the girls' group stood in front of them, "No thanks. Please just leave us alone."
The man, walked up towards the girl who stood her ground, "Oh come on. We just wanna show you girls how to have a good time."
"This is a private beach. You guys are not allowed to be here."
"Private?" the second man asked, "Does that mean we're alone?" he then groped the girl and the other duded grabbed the other girl.
Akari took a stance, and removed the girls from both of the guys grip, but they both grabbed her and started to feel her up. Akari's repressed memories started to come back to surface in her memories. Tears began to form from the corner of her eyes.
Then all of a sudden, someone shot shells and it was a bulls-eye hit because one of the guys let go of Akari, but the other dude tighten his grip on her.
"Why don't you quit bothering them? Weren't you jerks listening? You better just leave them alone," Haruhi yelled at the two men.
"Haruhi!" one of the girls yelled.
The man got angry and proceeded to grab Haruhi, "You little runt. I would be careful, wouldn't want your friend to get hurt would you?"
Hikaru and Kaoru were currently running away from Tamaki, "Those aren't rat snakes! Those are poisonous habu snakes!"
Tamaki was freaking out, and was freaking out so bad that he didn't think to drop the bucket of snakes somewhere else, "What do I do with them?! Come on, guys. Help me out!"
Then the girls from before were headed towards Tamaki and the twins.
"Tamaki!"
Tamaki slowly stopped running, not caring about the bucket of snakes he just had. The twins stopped running. Even though the girls called out Tamaki's name, the sound of it sounded desperate and panicky.
"It's Haruhi and Akari!"
Akari had tears running down her face. She was frozen in spot and couldn't do anything. Haruhi didn't know what to do because she was struggling on her own and the other girl who was still there wasn't strong enough to handle any of the men there.
"What are you gonna do now, loser?" the man with Haruhi asked.
"Don't hurt him!" the girl yelled, "Please stop!"
"Now don't you try and act all tough, you little sissy boy," the man who had Haruhi by the shirt said. He look at Haruhi and decided what to do with him.
"I got an idea, kid. How would you like to take a dip?" He then pushed Haruhi off the cliff, but the host club came in time to see exactly what had happened.
"Haruhi!" Tamaki called and jumped off the cliff to catch Haruhi before they both plunged into the ocean together.
"Hope you could swim!" the man yelled, but then immediately got punched.
"That's for touching my girlfriend," Alfie hand was bruised, but angry. "Don't you know any respect? You can't just take advantage of girls enjoying their free time up at the beach."
The man looked up to see his other friend passed out and the girl was in his grip was behind the boy who just punched him.
"She approached us!" the man lied, "She wanted it bad!"
Alfie then kicked him in the face. "Liar!" He then hugged Akari who was shaking. He knew he had to calm her down. Alfie looked at Kyoya, Hunny, Mori, Hikaru and Kaoru.
"Do whatever, I'm done here and I'm going to get Akari way from here," Alfie led his girlfriend away from the rock cliff.
"Haru-chan!" Hunny cried seeing his friend being carried out from the ocean.
"Boss!" Hikaru called to get his attention. Tamaki heard and looked up to see everyone there except the men and of course Akari and Alfie.
"Where'd they go?" Tamaki asked as he put Haruhi down.
"We took their ID cards and respectfully asked them to leave. The girls all went back to the hotel and I called a doctor. He should be arriving here any minute now," Kyoya explained to his best friend.
"Thank you," Tamaki said.
"I'm fine, you guys. I don't need a doctor," Haruhi said.
"The doctor isn't for you Haruhi," Kyoya spoke. This sparked Haruhi and Tamaki's interest.
"But I thought you would call a doctor for Haruhi! She's the one who feel into the ocean! She could have gotten hurt!" Tamaki failed his arms around in panic.
"Haruhi's fine, she said so herself," Kyoya said, "I called the doctor for Akari."
"What's wrong with Akari?" Tamaki stopped failing around and looking at Kyoya with a stern face.
"We don't know," Hunny whispered, "She wouldn't speak to any of us. Alfie took her back to the beach house.
Tamaki sighed. He could deal with Alfie and Akari later. He gazed towards sharp and looked at Haruhi.
"What were you thinking? You know, you're not like Honey senpai, Mori-sempai or Akari. You're not a martial arts master." He took a hold of her and grab her shoulders and sternly shook her a bit. "Why did you confront them? What made you think you would stand a chance? You against two boys?"
The whole group was just staring at Haruhi and Tamaki's argument. This was deep compared to all the other silly arguments that they usually had.
"But it doesn't matter that they're boys and I'm a girl. I was there. I had to do something. There wasn't any time to think..." Haruhi thought. She was upset, but when she saw that Akari had just stopped moving and shaking, she had to do something.
Tamaki shook his head, "That's no excuse, you idiot." He shook her shoulders, "Don't forget, you're a girl!"
Haruhi gave Tamaki a stern look, "Look, I'm sorry you had to come and save me, senpai. But I don't understand why you're so mad at me right now. I don't think I did anything wrong!"
Tamaki looked at her with shock. "You don't think so?" Tamaki let go oh Haruhi and turned his back. "Fine, whatever you say, but I'm not speaking to you until you can admit that you were wrong!"
The whole group was shocked at the declaration that Tamaki made and Tamaki stormed off inside the mansion and left them all speechless.
Akari and Alfie was currently in the bedroom. They already gotten changed, and Alfie was just holding her and rubbing her back. He whispered soothing words in her ears to calm her down before they both headed out to the dining room to eat dinner.
"Ta-da." Hunny-sempai spoke aloud. He placed all the dishes out and put out the crabs in the middle for everyone to grab. "Here you go. Don't they look yummy?"
Kyoya who was standing around watching Hunny-sempai and Mori-sempai do the work was amazed, "I apologize that there aren't any maids around to help you cook senpai."
Honey shook his head, "It's no big deal. We appreciate you letting us stay here." He turned to his cousin. "Hey Takashi, will you go get Haru-chan?"
Mori walked out of the room without saying a word and Alfie and Akari walked in after.
"Hey guys!" Akari greeted her friends. They all greeted with warm hugs and didn't ask questions. They all were just chatting and waiting for Haruhi to arrive.
:It's awfully gloomy out there, huh? It looks like it's gonna rain," Hunny stated as he looked outside.
Hikaru sighed, "It's not just gloomy outside."
Kaoru looked at his friends, "It's pretty gloomy right here in the dining room as well." He pointed towards Tamaki, "Just take a look at senpai."
Hikaru turned his head towards the corner, "Come on. Quit moping, boss."
"You shouldn't have picked a fight with her in the first place." Kaoru stated. This sparked Akari's attention.
"What happened when me and Alfie left?"
Everyone grimaced. The knew the boss didn't want to hear this story.
"We will tell you later," Hikaru spoke softly. Then the doors opened wide and out stood Mori-sempai and Haruhi.
Hunny was the first to notice that Haruhi was wearing a dress, "Whoa!"
"Haruhi, where did you get that dress?" Hikaru and Kaoru spoke simultaneously.
Haruhi looked at her dress and sighed, "From my dad. He must have repacked my bags when I wasn't looking. He's always trying to get me to wear this frilly stuff."
Hikaru and Kaoru gave a thumbs up in approval, "That's awesome! Way to go, dad!"
Honey smiled, "You look so cute, Haru-chan."
"It's a nice change from all the boys clothes you do constantly wear," Akari spoke with a smile at her friend. Haruhi looked and saw Akari and Alfie sitting at the dinner table.
"Akari!" Haruhi smiled, and gave her a hug. "Glad your better."
Akari just nodded and gave Haruhi a reassuring smile. "Same."
All they all decided to sit at the table to finally eat dinner. It was fresh cooked steamed crabs. Haruhi was honestly the first one to dig in while the others soon dived in after. Tamaki was the one who ate the least. After a few minutes, it was only Haruhi still eating like she was starving.
"These crabs... taste in-crab-ible. Get it?" Haruhi laughed at her own pun. Everyone else just watched the scene unfold.
"Don't you think you've had enough?" Tamaki gestured to the pile of crabs on her plate. "Give it a rest."
If Haruhi was annoyed, she show no anger whatsoever on her face, "Excuse me, I thought you weren't speaking to me."
"You... trying to be cute?" Tamaki asked, and Haruhi just kept eating crabs, minding her own business and being a smart alec. "Okay fine, I get it." Tamaki slowly got up from his seat. "It seems you refuse to admit that you were wrong. See if I care, then. I'm going to bed." Tamaki turned towards the door. "Kyoya, would you show me to my room, please?"
Kyoya heard his friend and got up from his seat, "No problem. Well, excuse me, everyone." Then the two boys walked out of the dining room. Haruhi finally stopped eating. She pondered on what actually happened and the guilt sank right in.
"Maybe he's right. Maybe I do need to learn a way to protect myself."
Akari was tired of being left out in the dark, "Okay, what happened while we were gone?"
"Tama-chan and Haru-chan got into a big fight," Hunny relayed to his cousin.
Akari sighed, "What was this fight about?" Everyone looked at her and sighed.
"Tamaki was probably being overprotective and sexist again, wasn't he?" Alfie asked.
"You got that right," Hikaru spoke, "We all were worried about you and Haruhi. Haruhi doesn't know any martial arts, but we just want her to be safe."
"You on the other hand, know martial arts," Kaoru told her. "Alfie knows some as well, but he was with us. You were with the other girls but you froze."
Akari closed her eyes and put her head down on the table. Alfie waited to see what Akari would do. He know why she froze up, but it wasn't his place to say.
"I got post traumatic stress disorder," Akari spoke softly. Her gaze shifted toward all the guys and Haruhi. "Remember how I told you all I got raped?"
Everyone nodded.
"Well, that's the cause. If anything triggers that. I'll freeze up and won't move. I'll need someone to help me out of the state, because my own mind won't do anything about it. That's why Alfie was with me earlier. He's seen them before."
"I understand now," Haruhi spoke, "But what I don't understand everything that concerns me. I didn't cause you guys any trouble or anything."
"You independent young women," Akari spoke softly and put heard head on her hand. Hikaru and Kaoru just shrugged and Mori was stoic as ever. Hunny was the next one to talk.
"That's not true, Haru-chan. I think you should apologize, 'kay?" Hunny smiled brightly and sweetly. "You made us all worried, especially Tama-chan. I think you need to apologize to him the most."
Haruhi was in deep thought. Everyone was quiet for a few seconds. "Guys, I'm really sorry."
Everyone ran towards Haruhi and gave her a big hug, "Apology accepted, you little mutt."
Then all of a sudden, Haruhi starts to feel a little sick.
"That's your fault for eating too fast and too much!" Akari yelled as Haruhi was led to the nearest bathroom.
The next morning, everyone seemed really pissed, except for Akari and Alfie who had no idea what was going on. See, both of them went to bed early while the rest of the gang went to check up on Haruhi and Tamaki. Kyoya got back to the gang earlier that night saying that he left Haruhi with Tamaki after he taught her a 'powerful' lesson.
Haruhi told the couple about what happened last night. Alfie feels like there is an innocence behind this and Akari has no opinion over it. She didn't want to get involved over the whole thing. They rode back in the limo and apparently left Tamaki behind, well almost. They stopped driving after two miles to finally let him back in the car.
"You know, besides all the bad moments, this little trip was nice," Akari stated looking out the window. Alfie gave her a small smile.
"I'm glad," Mori spoke to his sister.
