Summary: Anna is safe and Elsa was injured. How bad where the injuries?

Anna had started to get car sick looking at Elsa in the back seat. It was an unfortunate problem to have so Anna just looked out the front window for a while and tried not to think about how bad her face hurt. Kristoff was driving calmly towards the bus station as Elsa had requested. Anna really didn't want to leave Elsa, but she always had a plan and never did anything except keep Anna safe so she trusted Elsa's judgement.

"Anna love," Elsa called out, from the back seat.

"Yes my love I can't look at you right now or I might throw up everywhere," Anna answered, without turning around.

"I have a duffel bag in the trunk. It has one and a half million dollars in it in different types of cash. That duffel is for you to start a new life. If you are careful it will last you a while and even put you though college," Elsa called out, from the back seat. Anna couldn't hide her shock at hearing that Elsa had and was giving her 1.5 million dollars. "Once we get to the bus station I want you to pick a random city to go to and once you guys get to that city pick another random city in another state not in California after that do whatever you two think is best," Elsa finished.

"Ok," was all Anna couldn't help thinking that Elsa was saying goodbye for some reason. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" Anna asked, as she chanced a quick look over her shoulder. Elsa gave Anna a faint smile and even a kissing motion. Anna couldn't help giggling at Elsa's action. Kristoff quickly pulled into the bus station and Anna jumped out of the car and pulled out the bags that were in the back of the car. Elsa moved slowly and it made Anna stop to look at Elsa as she carried her sword with her.

"I'm ok I just got a couple scrapes from the battle and they are just now getting sore," Elsa said, with a smile and grabbed a bag and opened it. "Here is your new ID. It says you are 18 so you don't have to finish school if you don't want to, but your life is wide open."

Anna took the ID and looked at it, the picture of it was a picture that looked enough like Anna that it was passable. Anna took the ID and walked over to the ticket counter and Kristoff stood next to Anna. Anna looked at the schedule and saw that the next bus to leave was headed towards Sacramento. Anna ordered the two tickets and walked over to the bus as it was leaving in a few minutes. Anna turned and saw Elsa leaning against a pole near the bus with her sword down at her side. Elsa was still in her ninja outfit, it was skin tight and it didn't leave much for the imagination. Anna didn't have to imagine much since she had seen Elsa naked on more than one occasion.

Anna walked over to Elsa, pulled her into a hug and whispered "I love you Elsa Morimoto."

"I love you too Anna Arendelle," Elsa whispered, in reply.

Anna then realized that Elsa felt incredibly cold "You feel like you are freezing."

"I am freezing because I'm basically naked under this," Elsa gestured at her ninja outfit.

The bus behind Anna started up. "Anna the bus is getting ready," Kristoff said, behind them.

Anna nodded and looked at Elsa "Please come with me."

"I would if I could, but I can't," Elsa answered, and pulled Anna into a kiss. Anna couldn't help opening her mouth and when Elsa followed suit sliding her tongue in Elsa's mouth. Elsa's tongue curled around Anna's as Elsa pulled Anna's body against hers. Then Elsa pushed Anna away "You have to go my love. I'll find you in a few months I'm sure." Elsa then brought up her sword and put it in Anna's hand. "I want you to take this. It will fit in the duffle bag. My father had it made special."

Anna didn't even try to stop the tears from running down her face. "Why –"

Elsa wiped them away and kissed Anna on the forehead. "Because I want you to have it. Now you need to go." Anna put the sword away and walked onto the bus. Anna sat at the window seat and watched Elsa wave while the bus pulled away.

Elsa had to let the tears flow as Anna drove away in the bus to Sacramento. Elsa hated breaking her promise to never lie to Anna again, but this lie was better than telling Anna the truth. Elsa fought the darkness from overwhelming her for as long as she needed. Anna was well out of eye sight of Elsa when she slid down the pole she was leaning on. Blood smeared down the pole behind her. When the windows were shot out Elsa thought she felt glass cutting through her suit, but unfortunately it was bullets that cut into her, not glass. It was only through all her years of training and pure concentration that she didn't go into shock.

Elsa had lost too much blood and there was no way to survive her wounds as she was sure one of the bullets passed through her liver. So instead of worrying Anna or asking to go to a hospital Elsa chose to spend her last remaining minutes in this world with the only person that mattered. She got one last hug and one last passionate kiss from Anna.

Elsa pulled out her cell phone that had the phone number to Anna's new phone. Elsa dialed the phone and if Anna listened like Elsa expected her to she wouldn't get this message for a few days, if not weeks or months.

"Hi Anna its Elsa. I'm calling to apologize to you one last time because I lied to you again. I just watched you drive away on a bus to start your new life and I lied to you before you left. I won't be joining you because I have been shot and I won't survive the wounds. I'm sorry I broke my promise and I'm sorry that I lied again, but I had to make sure you were safe." Elsa was having more and more difficulty breathing and keeping her eyes open, but she had to say just a few more things to Anna.

"I just want to thank you for everything. You gave me a peace and happiness in a life filled with pain and death. I love you and will always love you and even if and when you find another to love know that I will always be watching over you." Elsa had to close her eyes and she knew she wouldn't be able to hold on for very much longer. The phone felt impossibly heavy, but Elsa had to say one last thing "Goodbye my love you made this life worth living." Elsa closed the phone and let it drop before falling to sleep.

In the following weeks Anna's face was plastered all over the news. Anna's parents received the recorded demands of the kidnappers, but in the days that followed no more demands came. Much as Anna predicted though, her parents spun the tragedy of their daughter to further their political goals.

No one saw a likeness in the black haired girl named Anna Queen when she sat for her GED. Then again no one even batted an eye at the girl that aced the college entrance exam for Duke University. No one knew that Anna Queen the Valedictorian of Duke University was the missing daughter of the Arendelle politicians.

The white haired girl that was found at a San Jose bus station was never identified. The body was buried under an undecorated tombstone with the name Jane Doe and the date of death. Years later blue and white flowers started appearing on the gravestone refreshed on a weekly basis. No one ever saw who put them there, but a legend formed about who the young woman was. Many tell a tale of a white hair angel that fell to earth and that tears of other angels cause the flowers to regrow every week.
