So I know some people are probably confused over me being like 'wow this is so popular!', it's simply because this IS my most popular thing XD Believe it or not, then again I haven't really published much since... 2013? 2014? I don't remember XD

So yeah; Thank you for reading/faving/following/reviewing ;W;

A red tint covered the sky, and soon all of Gravity Falls was covered in red sunlight.
Bill was watching it all, since time didn't effect him it seemed like mere seconds, yet still a billion years. An odd combo really.

Nonetheless the sky was no longer red, and thus he had a mission to accomplish, he'd finally face his... fear? Love? Well he'd face a certain tree.

And he didn't mean the kind growing in the forest.

Thus the dream demon, wearing a human body, was making his way towards the Mystery Shack, he had created a bouquet of white and blue flowers -apparently humans liked those- with a snap of his fingers, the colors were that of Pine Tree's cap, though Bill preferred black and yellow he doubted the boy would too.

When he close enough to clearly see the Shack he was getting second thoughts, what if Pine Tree wasn't home? What if Stanford opened the door? What if-

Do it.
You agree?
No, but your thoughts are driving me crazy. Just tell the boy you like him or whatever, then make him help us find out how we became... this.

Bill nodded to himself then went over to the front door, inhaling a sharp breath he knocked the door. While waiting he fiddled around with a flower petal, the flower bouquet was all roses, apparently a famous flower for being 'romantic'.

When ten minutes had passed and no one had opened the door, Bill was getting annoyed, frustrated he opened it himself... unlocked?
"Yellow? Anyone in here?" He asked into the seemingly empty Shack.

Carefully he stepped in, laying the roses on the desk, "Pine Tree? Shooting Star?" he said into the empty room, making his way towards the private part of the Shack, where the Pines lived.
No one was here.

Why...?

"Pine Tree?! This isn't funny! I left you here yesterday! Ya should still be here!"

He checked every room, no one was there... not even Question Mark or Red.
His eyes narrowed in thought, maybe they where at the Diner? But Stanford would definitely lock the door...

Snap.

He appeared in front of the Diner, and quickly entered it.

No sign of anyone from the Pines family.

Not one.

Where could they be?

Snap.

He appeared at the lake, ignoring his vessel's energy drain, he quickly scanned it, no Pines.

Snap.

Snap.

Snap.

SNAP.

The Pines weren't in Gravity Falls, not a single clue of their existence, he had checked Question Mark's house, and overheard that the handyman had for some reason gotten a day off.

Where could they be...? Then Bill face palmed realizing he could simply locate their minds! As long as they were in his given area he should be able too.

Closing his one good eye while sitting in the lotus position, the tanned demon started glowing an eerie blue.

His eye snapped open and he let out a painful gasp, he hadn't been able to locate any of them, this meant they were awake... and outside his prison.

This is bad, this is very very bad.
Maybe they've just gone to Portland for the day, considered that?
No, they wouldn't. Pines is too much of a cheapskate to dare losing money, he'd have locked the door.
Maybe he expected someone to take over the place after they left, considered that?
Stop saying those two words, they're quite bothering.
I'm just saying you should consider-
SHUP UP

The demon didn't notice the fire surrounding him, nor did he notice it switching from red and blue.
In the blink of an eye he had left the location.

"So where are we?"

"Heck if I know kid!"

"Are you KIDDING ME?!"

"Wish I was, I really do."

"Can't we just focus on getting out of here?!"

Bill was at the border of his 'prison'. He could easily go where the one who had summoned him the first time was going as well, but seeing as Gleeful was in an actual prison -even after these years, apparently the boy couldn't live honestly-, that option didn't really work well here.

Though he could break him out, but seeing as the Gleeful hated the Pines... Then again if the white haired boy still fancied Mabel...

Bill quickly put one and one together, then teleported himself to the Gravity Falls prison area.

"What are you...?"

"Don't. I can handle this."

"...Please... Please take care."

"I'll get help, I swear!"

Bill quickly found out what cell the Gleeful kid was staying in, thus he had stashed his vessel in a secure location.
He wouldn't wanna get chased by the police for breaking someone out.

Now he just needed the kid to sleep... This was done by 'accidentally' getting sleeping pills into the kid's food.

Then he entered the dreamless state of Gideon's mind, just the moment Gideon fell asleep.

"How long have you been here?"

"I... I don't know... me and Stan have been here since ... I think the afternoon where you left, I'm not sure when you appeared though..."

"I didn't leave though, I got... well I got lost."

Gideon screamed, he didn't know what else to do. The last time he had seen the yellow demon he had been quite... angry at him quitting the deal the two had.
The demon looked uninterested in him however, then snapped his fingers.
Gideon's mouth became zipped closed. Literally zipped close, by an actual zipper.

"Jeez kid! It's like you think I'll kill ya! No, no. I got something much better planned~" The demon said, with a fake sound of sweetness clinging to his voice.

"You won't ki-kill me? Why... W-what do you have planned for me? Sp-speak fiend!" Gideon hated to admit it, but he kinda whimpered. He didn't need his mind being corrupted by this demon... or whatever an angry demon would do to somebody breaking his deal.

Bill didn't seem effected by his fear and empty threats, after all what could a twelve year old do to the master of the mind? Then again that blasted Pines twin had defeated him once... With the help of his sweet Mable...-

"You realize I can read your mind like an open book, don't you Gleeful. But this is in fact about the Pines family. I need you to finally fulfill our good ol' deal, you do remember it don't you? I entered Stan's mind like promised, and here's the thing you are gonna help me with." The demon had a cane appear out of thin air, and leaned against it, despite floating midair.

"I need to take over your body for this, so listen carefully-"

"WHAT? You're not getting my bo-" Gideon stopped his objected as the demon glared at him.

Cipher cleared his throat "As I was saying. I'll need your body, then I'll break you out of prison, nice right?"

"I... suppose, but what does that have to do with the Pines family?"

"I'll then release your body, and then you'll need to follow me around for a while, a nice little walk around all of the areas outside of Gravity Falls. Y'see I need to locate the Pines for... private reasons. You'll get to see Shooting Star again! Good for us both right?"

"Why do you need me for that?! Ah thought you were all knowing!" Gideon declared, he did want to see his Mabel, but still he didn't see how the demon would need him in any way.

"I can't leave Gravity Falls, since you're stuck here. Y'see my power isn't unlimited, or at least not all of it. And it just so happens that since my original summoner's deal needs to be completed, otherwise I can't leave them for a ... what was it.. hmm a rather large radius. This one happens to surround Gravity Falls, and a good amount of the nature around it. Yet I can't leave you, since you summoned me, thus it's not time for you to finish our deal." The last few words were spoken with such venom that Gideon expected the demon to just burn him right there.

"Wait, you're... stuck with me? But that would be.. YOU SHOULD OBEY ME!" The whitette declared, jumping up from where he sat.

Then he lifted up in the air, Bill was raising him, suddenly he was way to close to the triangle for his liking.

"You won't command me, nor will you control me. Without me you're stuck here, so what do you want short stack? Stay stuck or get your freedom back?" Gideon felt himself shaking, the demon had turned red, and his voice was eerily dark, as if the demon was suddenly a whole other being.

The demon then turned yellow again, he help a hand covering in blue flames out. Then he spoke the one word Gideon had started to despite the most, besides from Pines.

"Deal?"

Bill entered his vessel, ignoring the stares from the kid next to him. Breaking the kid out of prison had been way too easy.

"Why do you need a body for this?" Gleeful this asked, seeing it as a honest question Bill decided to actually answer it.

"So I can kill you in case you try to flee." Well, it wasn't a lie, though it weren't exactly the truth either. He wouldn't kill Gideon; that would be too much of a risk, besides he'd be stuck in Gravity Falls, unable to do much unless he fused himself with his vessel.

Thus losing his immortality. And his powers.
He didn't intend to do this, ever.

Ignoring the fearful looks from Gideon he floated over to him, and laid a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Now, we're going to teleport as far I can manage in one jump, hold on right kiddo."

They disappeared from the Mystery Shack, Bill didn't know why but stashing his body -vessel-, there had seemed like a safe option, and what do you know; it had been laying just as he left it.

With a flash they appeared at the borderline of Bill's 'prison', though that barrier would be broken as soon as the white haired kid stepped a single step forward. Feeling his -vessels- giant loss of energy, Bill landed on the ground, floating would be more painful than useful in this state.

Gleeful raised an eyebrow, but had learned not to question him.

"Okay kiddo, just start walking, as soon as you break my barrier I should be able to locate Pine Tr- the Pines." He quickly corrected himself, he didn't need to have his summoner know the true reason he was seeking out the Pines Family.

Honestly he didn't care about what might have happened to the Pines, he only cared to know what happened to his Pine Tree.

Gideon nodded, then walked a few steps forward, Bill quickly glanced at Gravity Falls, then took his first step into the world aside him.

This brought back memories from before he had been banished the first time, back then he did have unlimited power, since he hadn't been summoned by anyone back then he hadn't been tied to anywhere.

Then he had come across Gravity Falls... and per say his evil schemes across the earth cooled down quite a lot for a few centuries. Or had it only been years? Time really did pass him as an odd concept.

"Okay kid, just keep walking, but don't disturb me." He commanded, then used his few powers of lifting himself off the ground again, the he sat in the lotus position and started searching for his Dipper.

"Please don't cry! He'll be back with help any minute!"

"How do you know?! Maybe he didn't make it! After all NONE of us know where we ARE!"

"You're right... if only I could get free from these... chains... ugh.. it's useless."
"If anyone can hear me... HELP!"

Bill's eye snapped open, did he just hear...? Could it be? The demon had felt a mind quite alike to Pine Tree's, and thus he had immediately tried to contact the mindscape, instead he had heard a shout for help, and felt a wave of fear and hopelessness hit him from the mindscape.

He fell onto the ground, ignoring the confused questions from the whitette, he knew where he was going. He quickly grabbed hold of the boy next to him, then he quickly flew through the surrounding fields, ignoring the feeling of tiredness from his vessel.

He'd get to Dipper, no matter how drained it would leave his powers.

But then how will you save him from trouble? Without our powers... well we're either gonna get kicked out from our vessel, kill the vessel, or be in a weakened flesh bag.

Him stopping was so sudden that Gleeful got thrown quite a distance in front of him. The voice was quite right, this much use of energy wasn't good for a mere vessel, and even if he'd stay in it... Well the vessel would be as much use to him as Pine Tree's tired and weakened body had been.

"We're camping here for some time, but don't expect for us to stay for long." He commanded Gideon, who was wobbling from having been speeding across several kilometers at great speed.

Bill then jumped out of his vessel, letting it rest itself. He immediately felt a little tug telling him to return to Gravity Falls, instead he decided to use his full powers to lock his demon shape to the mindscape of Dipper Pines, and just then he right away was teleported forcefully into the boy's mind.

While he wasn't exactly 'locked', he was connected to the boy now, until he unlocked him that is. Relief showered him as he found out the boy was asleep, he was able to contact! He was able to... tell him... everything.

Well, better late than never.
