"Pine Tree!"

"Pine Tree?"

"PINE TREE!"

Dipper's eyes shot open, but instead of seeing pure black darkness he was instead seeing a grey scale warehouse, was this how the place looked like with the lights turned on? Then he realized the grey scale had an actual meaning when you knew about the supernatural. Bill.

He was still asleep, stuck in his own mind. This was his punishment for heightening his voice too much, they had knocked him cold.

Not like anyone could hear you out there Pine Tree.

"Wha-" was all the boy could manage to say before he was face-to-face with a glowing yellow triangle. This made Dipper think back to the last time they were this close, though the demon had been more human back then.

"Wow you're quite red, is it that hot?", Realizing he'd been blushing he quickly looked away from the demon.

"Anyways, quite the trouble you're getting into these days, I drop you off and the next day; poof! You're gone. So Pine Tree tell me, how did this happen?" Bill simply asked, floating over to face the boy, for a moment Dipper thought he saw actual concern in the demon's eye.

Then he finally caught up to time and realized the demon had asked him a question.

"I... I don't actually know, Bill. I only remember entering the Shack, greeting Mabel and Stan, then suddenly I was hit in the head I think... when I woke up I couldn't see anything, apparently they had blindfolded me. I think I was in some car, it felt like it, since I still felt exhausted from all our walking I suppose I fell asleep. When I woke up I was... I guess here?"

He looked around to demonstrate his point, if he remembered correctly Bill appearing would create a dreamscape copy of the surrounding area.

"Well yes and no. I suppose you can say I 'heightened the quality' of this place, since you haven't been able to actually see this place, you can't create a dreamscape counterpart for it, I can however of course manipulate your mind enough for it to see this place clearly, if only temporarily." Bill responded casually, as if he hadn't just admitted screwing with Dipper's mind.

Dipper decided to try and ignore that fact, it was nice to know his surroundings after all. And then it hit him, "Wait, why did you go back to the Shack?"

Bill stopped moving, as if the question had been an arrow that pinned him in place. Why did he go try to find Dipper.

Because he was fascinated by the boy. Fascinated about his curiosity and fascinated of his mind which spread far across his age... Because he wanted to stay with the boy for the rest of the mortal's lifetime. Because...

"...You love him..." He whispered under his breath. His voice a weird mixture of his own and the voice in his head, realizing he had finally said it he spun around to face Dipper.

"Because I wanted to tell you..." His words got stuck in his nonexistent throat, why was three words difficult to manage? He'd easily said them right before...

With my help. Honestly, just get this sappiness over with, will ya? I'd like to get it over with soon, or do you need me to take over?
No, you'll just worsen our chances.
YOUR chances, I'm not gonna deal with this kid, all I need is for him to help US find out why we're like this, one thing you seem to have forgotten quite quickly.
Shut up will you?

Bill quickly scanned the boy's face, he had that curious spark in his two brown eyes, a spark Bill wanted to see more off.

"That I really really like you... Pine- Dipper." He finished, finding this longer option easier.

"Is... is this some sorta brainwashing? First that... kiss, then you help me home, and now you tell me this?" Dipper said, his voice slowly sounding more frustrated, after a short pause he added a soft "You called me Dipper".

"I'm serious Pines," he floated over to the boy, wishing he had his human shape in the dreamscape too. "I wouldn't lie to you. I mean I did once, but please believe me as I say; I've changed Dipper Pines, I..." He felt the voice tug his brain, say the words, was all the master of the mind could hear in his thoughts.

"I love you Dipper Pines."

Gideon took another look at the limp human version of the demon, it was just laying there... not breathing nor moving. He considered running away, but if the demon had been telling the truth he would move that... barrier thing.

What would happen though? Would the demon just slowly be pulled along with the invisible wall? Would it hurt him?

Not that he could care any less about the needs of a demon. He was only going along for his sweet pumpkin; Mabel.

He looked at the sky for the tenth time since the demon had gone cold, was the police going to find him? He'd most likely go back to jail if he returned to Gravity Falls, but he didn't want to leave the town for too long either.
That would mean he'd have to leave Mabel, unless he could convince her to come along...

And thus he laid down, pretending to sleep, though what he actually was doing were plotting how to him and his sweetums would live happily ever after.
Whenever he'd have to force her or not.

Bill was shocked to find himself outside of Pine Tree's mind, either the boy had woken up from shock, or someone had awakened him...

Unless Pine Tree was too shocked, maybe he blocked us out?
You should be happy! I finally told him!
Yes, but if he's deciding on hating YOU know, he'll also be bound to hate ME.
H-he... he won't ha-hate us? W-will he?
Stop stuttering, you're acting too soft. Why is it you're much weaker than you act in front of mortals?
...You know why.
Of course I do, our mind is shared. Though our goal...

"Is far from the same, yet it got the same result. I get it, is our vessel rested enough?" Realizing he had said it out loud Bill was kinda grateful he wasn't in anyone's mind at the moment, he knew he was far from sane, but talking to himself in front of others wouldn't exactly help his pride.

It's not yet, but it can make it to your sweet Pine Tree's location, though with that power lock~
I'm not removing the lock! You know it could kill our body!
Vessel. Why are you so insistent on having your own specially made vessel anyways? Is it because Piney-Whiny won't love you as a triangle?
Body. No. It's not... mostly. I just want to prove I've chanced enough to not steal somebody's body everything we need to interact with the real world!
We don't need a vessel, just force them to sleep every time we appear, you know, like we used to.

Bill decided to ignore the voice for now, he'd wait for his body a little while more, but then he'd also be off to save his Pine Tree immediately.

Hell if he would let himself stop him.

Gideon woke up when he felt an intense heat coming from next to him, opening his eyes he saw a red glow, the demon he had to follow around was surrounded in flames, screaming he hurried to get up and away from the angry demon.

The the demon simply turned, facing him with an expressionless emotion, which then turned to pure rage as the now-all-red-demon-turned-human sent flames after the whitette, who kept running away in fear.
To his horror Gideon noticed his feet weren't moving at all.

The flames surrounded him, and then they consumed him.
First giving him the horrible pain of burning, the they grew hotter and started melting his skin, Gideon tried to shout but his tongue was burning to mere ashes, he felt like crying, but the intense heat made it impossible, obviously.

And the pain just went on.

Gideon Gleeful's scream pierced the otherwise quiet of the forest, he was covered in sweat, and shaking as if an earthquake were going on, terrified the boy curled up to seem as small as possible.

"What's wrong kid?" A way to high pitched and familiar voice asked, still feeling scared from the dream Gideon stopped shaking, hoping the demon would leave without burning his flesh, then again if he didn't respond he might anger the demon.
He tried to speak, but instead of speaking he made a choked sob.

He carefully opened his eyes, his sight was filled with a pair of black shoes, carefully peeking up Gideon realized he trapped himself; he just acknowledged knowing the demon was there, thus he was forced to face him.

"You okay? It looks like you've seen a ghost? That bad a dream, huh?" Gideon felt like laughing at the demon, as if he didn't know! It had to have been Cipher who had created that nightmare! How else would he dream about him burning him alive?!
But he didn't, instead he carefully nodded.

"F-fine... j-just a b-bad dream", like you don't know, embarrassed of his own weakness Gideon forced himself to stand, carefully brushing of his clothes. "So are we l-leaving or what?" He tried to pull the confidence card, though judging by the unamused expression of the demon it didn't work.
Gideon thanked god when Cipher didn't ask more questions.

Bill nodded sharply "In fact I was about to wake you, though you handled that quite well yourself. Well no time to waste, I can't teleport us from here, we'll need to travel like yesterday."

Gideon's stomach flipped at the mention of having to move that fast against. "C-can" he cleared his throat "Can we just talk? I-" he wasn't able to finish his sentence before the demon had grabbed his arm, with one of those shit eating grins people tended to flash the demon had started to take up speed as the two flashed throughout the landscapes.

"Dipper! You're awake!"

"Mabel...? What happened?"

"They knocked you out Bro-Bro."

"Mabel... Bill visited me in my dream... I... he..."

"Triangle dude? What did he want to talk with you about?"

"He wanted to tell me... he likes me a lot... Apparently he..."

"He WHAT?! Dip he most likely lied! He's Bill! It's probably a trick!"

"Mabel... he said he loves me"

Maybe I should change the rating to 'T'. Considering I just wrote about a guy burning to death. Per say in his dream and not to graphic, but yeah.
Fun Fact; I once actually had a dream about burning to death. Nice to know ain't it?

Is it bad to enjoy writing about people burning to death? Well mostly Gideon.
I REALLY love writing Gideon being extremely scared of Bill, since the whole 'breaking an important deal' thing, I can imagine Gideon getting some nightmares doing his time in prison.
That and shy!Bill.
