HOLY. It took me a while to finally finish this, and I'm so sorry for that.
I've been busy with some personal problems, so I haven't had the time/want to write more. Nonetheless here's a new chapter!
Note; this may seem kinda... bad. I wrote at least 1000 words, but then when I saved it...
decided to be a fucking BITCH and told me I wasn't logged in.
Bill entered the hospital room, seeing a seemingly unconscious body slumbered in the hospital bed.
He carefully went towards the boy, scanning the room for the journal.
Nothing, he went closer to see if the boy might had it, but still not sign.
His eye widened.
Could it be...
No.
It wouldn't.
Had the book... perished in the fire?
"Bill?"
Dipper carefully pushed himself up to sit, ignoring his aching body's protests. He wanted to believe what he was seeing, the yellow clad man faced him.
Dipper wanted to scream out in joy.
It was indeed him, unharmed and well, the only thing off were the missing eye patch.
"Bill!" He said again, feeling something warm trailing his cheek, a tear? Of happiness?
To see Bill?
Bill was stunned, he had no clue Pine Tree had been awake.
Why is his eyes melting?
It's called tears. Humans produce them when their sad, in pain or when very happy.
Tears... why is he sad?
I think these are from happiness, he thinks you are me, he's happy to see me... Dipper...
He frowned slightly, remembered how his counterpart had gotten love struck around the Pine Tree.
"I'm happy you're not dead Pi- Dipper. I felt so worried..." He said, faking concern towards the boy.
"So glad... to see you" The boy said, his voice dry. He then made a loud noise, it sounded... painful.
He's coughing. His throat most likely hurts.
"S..orry... please... sit.." Pine Tree said, motioned towards a chair.
"Please relax your voice Dipper". Bill said calmly as he walked over to the chair. He picked it up and went over to the bed, placing it next to the bed.
He then studied the boy, he was wearing a hospital gown, his left wrist was horribly burned, and from what he could rather from quickly reading the kid's mind, apparently a lot of burns on other places too.
The boy coughed again, this time it sounded worse though.
The concern his soft side felt overwhelmed him.
Dipper quickly pulled himself together, drinking some water he had on a small table next to him. Then he picked up his notepad and pen.
When Bill sat in a way he apparently found comfortable, he started writing a message down on paper.
You're okay... I'm so happy.
I'll have
I've got so many questions...
How did you escape the fire? How did you locate me? How did you get away from Gravity Falls anyways? I thought you were bound to it...
He decided that would so for now, so he tore the paper off and handed it to Bill.
Bill sat looking at the paper for a while, then sighed.
"Well Dipper, it's not that many questions considering what you usually ask... unless some aren't meant to be seen, only heard? Well. I better explain I suppose."
He sat back in the chair, closing his eye.
"I am not 'bound' to anywhere... at least no anymore. When I get summoned, as I did by Eye- Gleeful all those years ago, I have to stay withing a certain distance of my summoner, it's roughly the size of Gravity Falls, give or take. This of course creates the illusion that I'm bound to where I get summoned.
I needed Gleeful to keep his end of the deal, and for that I made him follow me to your location, thus I could leave Gravity Falls."
He hummed a bit, then continued "How do I locate people? I've said it before haven't I? I'm watching, Dipper. Always."
His eye opened "Understand so far?"
Dipper nodded, curious to learn more.
"As to how I survived... I didn't. I died in that fire. Luckily none of the rescue team members found my corpse, now THAT would have been trouble."
Dipper was about to interrupt when Bill quickly eyed him, "Let me continue"
The demon closed his eye again.
"This body of mine, it died. Luckily I was simply pushed out of it when it perished. So I remade it, a little healing here and there and a wardrobe change, then I left to find you."
MMMM So short.
Sorry. As said most of it got deleted, and I've been writing for two hours (whereas most of that time now is proven USELESS seeing as deleted all my process)
