Author's Note: I am excited, I'm almost done with exams and school, this week is going to be wicked hard, but I'm keeping my optimistic mood up! I am just a few days away from freedom! I can almost taste it! So back on track, this chapter is a bit of an unespected little twist, I don't really ship anyone in the serie, but I did this as a tender sweet moment, so no hate please! Enjoy!

"I will look for more wood to light the fire" said Belle

"I will let Neal take a nap in your room, Henry" said Snow to his grandson

"Ok, I will stay here with Elsa" he said sitting next to her in the couch, she didn't mind, she was barely conscious; she was too tired and weaken.

Henry took pity on her and wrapped another cover up to her shoulder trying to make friction for her to keep warm. She crack open an eye and tried to smile as a gratitude gesture to him. He was rather sad and concerned about her being so…sick?

"Elsa, why isn't it melting?"

She wanted to say because it had to be an honest-true act of the people she wanted to protect, but if she did her mother would make that same people pay a high price. "I don't know" she answered muffled "an act of true love should be enough" she though it over and over. When her mother was there they tried to protect her, didn't that count as an act of true love? She wasn't sure anymore.

"An act of true love? As in a kiss?" he asked thoughtfully

"I am afraid in my family we don't believe that's the right solution. These might lack of love or a genuine feeling" she chattered her teeth turning her hands into fists. Henry scooted closer to where she laid trying to keep her cozy.

Belle was about to turn the corner with the wood in hands when she dropped the matches and overheard them, so she stood silent behind the door when she heard them talk about the act of true love.

Henry pondered for a second before daring to speak "Could…could I try?"

"W-what?" she asked puzzled and somewhat nervous

"I…never been the hero of the story, that's what my parents and grandparents do. I don't have a story of my own, I don't know what to do or what is expected, I am just …me"

"And that should be enough" she said softly

"But…I…I want, I wish it could be me the one that saves you" he admitted "I just don't know what I am meant to be or what should I do, I wish I could be your hero" he said sheepishly.

Elsa smiled looking up at him "Let me tell you a story" she smiled "the only other boy that I have met that was as sweet as you, was a long, long time ago. He was probably your age when I meet him in the forest. I was walking alone feeling misplaced and counting all my regrets when we crossed paths. He looked confused and so distress and I knew where I have seen that face before; in the mirror. He seemed as lost as me. When we collide I was startled so I naturally panicked and burst ice around me, but he didn't fear me, he came close and asked if I was alright" she smiled at the memory "I don't know why he took compassion on me or why he stood by my side until all the ice was melted away but then we started talking. I told him I wanted to get rid of my powers and he told me he wanted to free someone from their own magic. He was looking for a way to save the person he loved from himself; he was becoming too powerful and feared. I was unable to help him in his task; nevertheless I offered him a way to get to the trolls to ask questions. After that day he came back just once more, he said a fairy had gave him a way out and he offered me to go with him to get rid of my powers, but I was afraid of leaving Anna, so I declined and wished him farewell, he was the first person that showed no fear to what I was. Not long after, I discovered he was not followed to his new escape, he was left alone and I felt sorrow, but I never told anyone. It was until I went to his father that I knew I would never see him again, that I really didn't have the time to met him" she looked at Henry "You know who I am talking about, don't you, Henry?" she smiled "Back then, we used to call him, Baelfire. Your father"

"You…you knew my dad?"

"I wish I had the time to properly have known him" she smiled "I was in a very dark place within myself when he told me I was no monster, his simple words helped me more than I can express, for that I will always be in debt with him…when I realized the Neal they were talking about, was Baelfire, then it sort of brought ease to me, because he got his wish granted, I just regret not having the opportunity to see him grow up to be that man, but time was not on my side. Still, my greatest reward was to have met you; you are so much like him"

"You really think so?"

"I am sure. And he didn't have his own story either and we both know he was a great hero"

"Thank you, Elsa" he smiled looking at her thru teary eyes and laid down placing a true love's kiss on her cheek. Her heart beat with warmth as her cheeks turned a shade of pink but just for a second did that lasted; the ice didn't melt away. She felt faintly better, but the white kept on spreading thru her, slowly but still threatening.

Belle composed herself and stood up with the matches in hands entering the room "I brought the wood" she announced going to the fireplace avoiding gazed with them, but something in her was moved as well, Bae had was always been a hero, just like his son.

Author's Note: So there we go! I just love the interaction between them!, I wished the serie would had exploted that, I mean the first season Henry was so eager to meet the real side of everyone and in this one Elsa had so much to say, such a story and they barely interacted! I wished Elsa had interacted with more than just Emma and Hook. And let me clearify this: I don't intend it to look like if Elsa had a crush on Bae or anything like that, but I guess the interpretation of a story is up to the reader.
