I'm like so sorry I took so long to update. First I went to Texas, than my nephew was born, then my internet wouldn't work, and then school started. I know these are all lame excuses, but it's true. I feel like a few of you hate me or completely forgot my story. Anyway, I wrote a seriously long chapter for you. I mean, it's over 12,000 words and most are barely over 3,000. So please enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Soul Eater, just this story.

Chapter Nine - We're All FOOLS

Mya Belle's POV

When we had all yelled at Soul, I couldn't help but laugh.

" You guys practice that or what?" Soul looked annoyed, but I couldn't blame him.

" No. We just know each other too well," Kendra rolled her eyes.

" Well what do you expect. We are best friends," I defended.

" Sure. Whatever Mya," Alexiss patted my head as if I was a dog. I hated being shorter than her even more than usual at the moment.

I smiled, but then it faltered.

" Hey. Do you know why Jared ran out?"

" Because Ash told him off. Why?" Kendra looked at me curiously.

" I thought he was my friend. Sure, I only met him, but he was nice. I thought he would at least stand up for me," I looked down at the ground as I grew sad.

" He tried to, but when Ash yelled at him, he ran for the hills like he was gonna die."

" Oh."

" You like him!"

" What? No. I was just worried. I mean, wouldn't you worry."

" Not over someone we just met."

" But I'm not like you. He tried to make sure I wasn't sad, especially when I was about to actually give up," Alexiss raised an eyebrow. " I mean, Ash sorta kept me locked up for a bit and you guys know how I get. My life hasn't been the easiest, but you guys already know."

" I'll kill the bitch! You get really bad when you're like that," Kendra yelled.

" Calm down Kendra. No need to remind me. Anyway, why don't you guys talk about a plan. I'll go along with it, but I can't think right now. Way to tired."

" Sure."

"Thanks," I gave a small smile before walking off into the vast prison of flame.

When I looked back, I was surprised how much distance I had put between myself and the others. I sighed before laying down on the black floor that looked like glass was over it. When I had first gotten here, I thought I was falling.

I layed on my back and tried to close my eyes. I was tired and I needed to sleep sooner than later.

" Mya Belle?"

I jumped in my sleep and opened my eyes to look up at Tsubaki and Soul.

" Well you're a light sleeper," Soul observed.

" No shoot. Ever heard of being to scared to even sleep. What do you want anyway?"

" We came to talk to you."

" About what?"

" About our partners," Tsubaki started blushing as I sat up.

" Is everyone here in love with their partners?"

" What? No. That's so not cool," now it was Soul's turn to blush.

" Cut the cool crap. I know you guys like them. Ever heard of reading dude? When I read your expressions, it's obvious."

" That's Maka's thing."

" That's not a very good excuse."

" Whatever."

" Yeah. So what do you want to know about them?"

" Are they okay?"

" Yeah. They're all in this room that was close to mine. They're sleeping on some kind of hospital beds. I guess Ash made sure that they'll sleep for awhile since they're never awake when I check on them."

" Oh."

" Yeah, so? Can I sleep now?" Tsubaki only nodded and left to the others.

" Whatever," Soul turned to walk away.

" Hey Soul?"

" What?"

" Just an FYI, I think Maka likes you too. She talks about you a lot in her sleep," I looked up at him with one eye to see his whole face turn a dark pink. " And it's so not cool to be mean to people who try and help you."

Soul looked annoyed again, only making me smile. I wonder how long he's liked Maka.

" How would you know what's cool?" he yelled after a few minutes.

" Because I live in the real world, not some place made up by a Japanese person. I mean, you've never experienced the real world so you wouldn't know. Sure, you fight monsters, but your emotions are drawn by some Japanese person who only draws what would be the most interesting."

" You sound like Maka. Always has to be right."

" I'm not like Maka, Alexiss is. I think I'm more like Black Star, or Patty. Which ever is more annoying."

" Your friend may be smart like Maka, but your brave like her," I couldn't believe what I was hearing, then Soul sat down next to me.

" Did I say it was alright to sit here?"

" No, but you aren't the boss of me."

" Whatever. Now let me sleep. I haven't slept in almost a week."

" We only got here three days ago."

" I know. I just have a hard time sleeping."

" Why?"

" You know that your starting to get on my nerves? I can't sleep, because whenever I do, I have nightmares about how I die and they always seem so real. Ever heard of being to scared to sleep?" I repeated what I had said when he had first arrived.

" Oh."

" Didn't you feel like that from the madness?"

" I guess."

" Exactly. Now let me try and sleep dude, or else I'll just be cranky forever."

I didn't hear what Soul said next becuase I was already half asleep. I was glad for once that I could sleep.

" What are we going to do about them? I need Mya Belle and I can't let her out without letting the others out," Ash was talking to a now consious Mercy.

" Let me go in. I'll pull her out and then we can just leave the rest."

" If I open the prison, it'll just break and then they'll all be able to get out."

" Can't you just zap her out?"

" Of course, but anyone who's in close distance will be released as well."

" Then you have nothing to worry about. Mya may like attention, but she's probably trying to sleep right now."

" So?" Ash looked just a tad annoyed.

" She'll seperate from the group and try to sleep. She doesn't want anyone to have to deal with her when she wakes up. So we should be able to get her."

" Fine. I'll try to get her out."

I sat up and looked around. I could see the others off a ways, but then I realized someone was curled up next to me, almost on me for that matter. I crawled away quickly as I realized that Soul had been the one next to me, drool pooling under his face.

I shook my head and kept backing away from the albino. I was trying to remember what I'd just seen when I was being pulled up.

" Are you okay Mya?" Alexiss asked as I finally stood.

" Yeah. How long was I sleeping?"

" I don't know. Maybe an hour or two."

" Oh. Okay. Glob I'm tired," I rubbed my eyes, trying to wake up.

" Then go back to sleep."

" But I don't wanna."

" Just go," she pointed back to where I had been sleeping.

" Fine. Good night."

I went back to where I'd been and layed down again. I didn't really care about Soul as long as he didn't drool on me. I closed my eyes and yawned before drifting back off to sleep. I could hear the others talking still when I felt warmth envelop me. I just thought it was my powers acting up, until I was being slapped awake.

" Hmm. I'm up. I'm up. I'll get ready in a few minutes," I answered, thinking it was Kendra or Alexiss.

" No. Get up now," I recognized the voice as Soul's.

" Just a few more minutes. I haven't slept in forever."

" Mya Belle! Get up!"

I opened one eye and glared up at him, " What?"

" Where are we?"

" You know, I suddenly hate you," I sat up and looked around. " I think we're in the room Ash kept me in."

That's when I realized that we weren't with everyone else and I was suddenly wide awake. I stood and went to the door, only to find it locked.

" So now they lock it."

" What're you talking about?"

" I mean that they used to keep this door unlocked. Now it's locked idiot."

" How'd we get here?"

I just shrugged my shoulders, " I don't fricken know. Maybe it has something to do with the two witches that trapped us in here."

Soul crossed his arms and just gave me a dirty look, " You don't have to be so mean. It's not cool."

" Stop! Just stop with the cool stuff. I don't give a flying fuck what's cool or what ain't."

" You don't have to yell."

" I don't care. I feel like yelling so I'll yell," I said as I paced.

Soul only rolled his eyes and went towards the door. He transformed his arm into a blade, making me remember that he could now do that, and began to hit the door.

" At least this explains my dream," I mumbled awhile later, the dream barely coming back to me.

" What?" Soul paused from his lame attempt to escape.

" Nothing. Just go back to failing to get us out."

" Why don't you try getting us out then?"

I completely froze as I looked up at him. I don't know why, but I had a weird feeling as if someone was coming. My body moved before I knew what I was trying to do, and I grabbed Soul away from the door. Only a second later, the door was blown open and flew across the room, slamming against the oppisite wall.

" Oh Mya Belle," Mercy's sweet voice dripped with venom somehow. " Time for you to pay. I think that's pretty fair, right?"

Mercy finally stepped into the room, her clothing changed from the outfit I wore to black clothes under a gray cloak. Her eyes paused on Soul before moving to me. A disturbing grin grew on her face, causing chills to go down my back.

" Are you ready to pay?" as if she was using magic, fear enveloped me.

I couldn't move from my place, my feet keeping me stuck in the middle of the room. I glanced as Soul, but he seemed fine, even going to the point of changing his arm into his red and black scythe blade again. I didn't understand how he wasn't afraid, but then again, he fought witches for a living.

" Is the little princess too scared to fight? Shame. It wouldn't be proper to fight a defenseless child, but then again, I'd rather not be proper at the moment," Mercy finished before letting her hand fill with the green magic she possessed.

" Don't even try," Soul growled, surprising me of how brave he was behaving.

" I should be saying that to you. Since I'm the only one who knows where your precious meister is. Let's make a deal. You let me kill her, and you get your friends back."

I looked at Soul, knowing he would take the deal. Who wouldn't. I wouldn't mind dying. I couldn't even move for the matter. It was as if my mind was telling my body that I was done for. That I should just stand and be afraid. It would end soon.

" Take the deal," I couldn't believe what I was saying, but then again, I could. " Just go. Go back to your own world with your friends. I think that's what's best."

Soul looked at me as if I was crazy, but I couldn't blame him. He was trained to save people and kill evil ones.

" Go!" I pushed him towards the door.

" See, even she wants to die. I'll get this over with and we can go see your friends."

" You promise?" Soul looked down at Mercy.

" Pinky promise, cross my heart hope to die, dead serious," Mercy held out her pinky, using the promise I only made in serious situations.

Soul nodded and wrapped his pinky around hers. He turned to leave, and Mercy turned towards me.

" Time to suffer."

I looked at the ground, waiting for it to happen. I felt my body go numb as I stared at the ground, my hearing vanishing, and my sight started to go foggy. By the time I had seen the white flash, I had totally shut down. I felt hollow, like I could do nothing more.

" Mya Belle?"

I tried to see who was calling my name, but my vision wouldn't clear. I thought it was just because my glasses weren't on, but I could feel them resting on my nose. I blinked a few times, still nothing.

" Mya Belle!"

Someone was yelling now. I kept trying to will my vision back to me. I mean, I've had it like this before, my vision fogging over, but never this long. I tried lifting my arms to rub my eyes, but they wouldn't budge from my sides. I guess my body was still numb, but wouldn't it go away once I tried to move?

" What are you, dead? Stop acting dead Mya Belle!"

I knew that wasn't right. I was still breathing and I was blinking my eyes, right? I must've been dead than. Like maybe I was a spirit now, I mean, stranger things have happened, especially to me. I almost wanted to believe it, until I felt someone shaking my shoulders. I tried to blink away the fog again, but it would just become thicker, making me feel even more blind. The shaking stopped, and coldness took over. I wanted a blanket as my eyes began to grow heavy. I didn't want to sleep. I'd slept enough as it was, but the fog stayed, almost as if it was the cause of my tiredness. I felt myself close my eyes and fall into a fog filled sleep.

Soul's POV

The second I knew Mercy wasn't looking at me, I let my arm transform into my scythe blade. I spun and let the blade slice throught Mercy, her body dissapearing and a purple soul was left in her place. I hurried over to Mya Belle. She was sitting on the floor, falling when I had turned my back. I waved my hand in front of her open eyes.

" Mya Belle!'

She didn't respond, she just sat there, her knees under her as she stared at the ground. Mya Belle looked like she was going to bow or something.

" Mya Belle!" this time I tapped her shoulder. She fell back and landed on the ground. " What are you, dead? Stop acting dead Mya Belle!"

I shook her shoulders, not understanding why she was acting like this. Her eyes then started to close as her head fell sideways. I ran a hand through my hair, frustrated with the girl in front of me.

" You gotta be kidding me. This is so uncool."

I sighed before lifting Mya Belle up, surprised at how light she seemed. I walked out of the room and walked down a hallway, not knowing how to get through this maze.

I looked down a hallway and then hide against the wall when I saw that boy that Mya Belle had talked about. He looked angry and with Mya Belle currently unconsious, I couldn't risk it. If I left her, then that orange haired witch could find her.

When I checked again, the boy was gone. I sighed and kept walking. How was I going to get out of here?

Alexiss's POV

" So what are we going to do if Mya Belle can't get us out again?" Sid asked.

I hate to admit it, but he sorta creeped me out. He looked so real, even if our type of zombies never had blue skin. I knew he wasn't evil or ate people, but still. I kept thinking of how Mya Belle would react, and imagined her screaming and running faster than any of us. That at least made me smile and calm down a bit.

" They have to open this place sometime. That witch did want Mya Belle for something," Nygus pointed out.

" But since she has Mya Belle's copy, she may think that Mya Belle is no longer nessacary. I mean, the witch obviously doesn't seem against hurting her."

" If she didn't need Mya Belle, wouldn't that mean that she would've let her go before we even got here?" I asked, staring up at the blue skinned zombie.

" I suppose, but why would she trap her in here with us?"

" Maybe she didn't plan to. She had her trapped seperate before. Mya Belle's probably important to her."

" Stop talking about her like that! She's not some random object. Are you really saying that we give her to the witch?" Kendra yelled.

" It would be for the best," Sid explained.

Kendra didn't waste any time going over to Sid and slapping him. He didn't seem to be affected, but still, that had to hurt at least a little bit.

" You're a giant asshole, you realize that?"

" Kendra!" I pulled her away. " Calm down. You have to realize, they don't know Mya Belle, so they don't have to actually care for her."

Now I know what Mya meant that even if you'd just met the person, you could still start to care about them. I mean, I'd just met most of these people, but I wanted to help them.

" Still, don't they have a heart?"

" Well, technically, when you think about it."

Kendra glared at me, " Are you agreeing with them? She's not some sort of sacrafice. Don't you think it's wrong that they're even considering giving her to that bitch?"

" Of course, but Mya Belle isn't their responsibility. They're just trying to save the people that they know."

" I hate when you make sense."

" But not as much as you hate when Mya becomes a therapist."

" True," Kendra looked to the side, then back at me before nodding her head. " Let's get this over with."

We went back over to Sid and Nygus, " Now, if Mya could break out of here once, than she'll most likely be able to do it again. What are supposed to do after that? The witch probably has already planned for that and is prepared to fight us again." Sid quickly explained, I bet he had already planned that in his head.

" Again? We didn't even get a chance to attack her because Mya showed up and she trapped us."

" Th-they just vanished!" our attention was brought to Crona who was curled up on the floor next to Tsubaki.

" What?" Tsubaki asked as she tried to calm the scared boy.

" They're gone," he whispered, this time pointing out behind us.

We spun around to see nothing. I looked back at Crona.

" Who vanished?"

" S-soul, and that witch girl."

" You gotta be fucking kidding me!" Kendra yelled once she made sense of what she heard. " How did she take them?"

" She is a witch. She probably can control who leaves her own trap," I offered an explanation.

" How do we get out of here then?"

" Mya Belle could get us out, I hope."

" How?"

" Kendra! Calm the fuck down. It's Mya Belle, she'll figure out a way."

" But she isn't the brightest when it comes to plans."

" Just have hope in her. Stop thinking she can't do it. Mya Belle can and will get us out of here. Now stop acting like you've lost hope in our friend," I yelled, frustrated at her.

" Stop fighting! Just shut up!" Crona finally said, surprising all of us. " I can't handle all of this."

" Well of course you can't," Ragnarok said, appearing from Crona's back. " You can't handle anything."

" I thought he didn't exist when you guys came," Kendra admitted.

I only nodded and then I was thinking. I thought of how the weapons couldn't transform at first, but when we were about to fight, they could.

" Wait," I said, hopefully figuring it out. " It kinda makes sense. Think about it, the weapons couldn't transform at first, now they can."

" And your point is?" Kendra scolded.

" Magic, duh. Ever since the wish, the magic that belongs to their world is becoming stronger in ours. Our world is becoming more like theirs."

" You know, sometimes I hate how smart you are, but of course you're probably right."

" Thank you," I gave a mock bow before standing regularly. " Now then, let's just hurry and get out of here."

" Good idea flat chest," Ragnarok sarcastically replied.

" Hey! Why don't you just shut up asshole."

" You're acting just like that blonde chick."

" Well, who wouldn't be offended by you. You're a giant asshole," I stopped and took a deep breath, calming myself down.

Ragnarok just dissapeared back into Crona, leaving me thankful. I looked back at the others and opened my mouth, then closed it.

" So what now?" Kendra asked, voicing my thoughts.

" I guess we wait," Sid shrugged.

Great, just great.

Mya Belle's POV

" Mya Belle? Can you please just wake up? This is so not cool of you. I'm getting tired of carrying you around," Soul's voice interrupted my fog filled sleep.

" I. I'm up. What just happened?" I asked opening my eyes, the fog still clouding them.

" Good," suddenly I was dropped, not even knowing I was being held.

" Ow. That hurt you know."

" Didn't you see I was putting you down?"

I shook my head, " I can't even see dude. All I can see is fog or some crap like that."

" Your eyes seem just fine though. Maybe if you took off those fake glasses," I suddenly felt my Ray Bans being pulled off.

" Fake? Dude, they're real. I'm almost blind with out them. Try them on, see for yourself."

I heard Soul sigh, then I felt my glasses being shoved into my hand.

" Oh my god! How can you see with those. It felt like the world was spinning."

" You can't see out of them since you aren't blind idiot. I can see perfectly fine out of them, except now. I hate being blind."

" Fine. Stand up. I'll just hold your hand."

I stood and soon, Soul's hand engulfed mine.

" What happened to Mercy?" I asked once we started walking.

" Well. I killed her after you passed out. She didn't even see it coming, which was pretty cool if I do say so myself," I rolled my eyes, well I think I did.

" How long ago was that?"

" I think about half an hour ago. Why?"

" When did we leave the room?"

" Right after that. Would you please explain why you're asking these quesions?"

" If you had stayed in the room until I woke up, I could've tooken us to the room where everyone was. I don't need to see to make it there."

" Oh. I'll just take us back to the room."

After a few minutes, I had to ask, " Do you even know where you're going?"

" Yes?" I knew he was lying.

" Of course. Okay. Look and see if you see any carvings in the wall."

Soul let go of my hand and walked off, his footsteps dissapearing completely. I stood in place, my hands twisting around each other as I waited. I heard footsteps coming back after a few minutes.

" So what did you find?"

" Mya?" the voice didn't belong to Soul.

" Who are you?"

" Jared, duh. Can't you see me?" I sensed him as he got closer, making me uncomfortable.

" Actually no. Sorta blind, wait!" I remembered that he had actually ran out on me and my friends. " Why did you run? You should've helped my friends. Even if you didn't know them, you could've helped them."

" I know, but I didn't really want Ash killing me."

" You're such a scaredy boy," I yelled.

" Shut up. If Ash hears you, we'll both die."

" Whatever. I don't care Jared. I wanna know why you're scared of your sister. You probably have just as much power as her."

" Actually no," I raised an eyebrow, sorta wishing I could see his expression. " Both of her parents had magic, but I have a different mom. She wasn't a witch. So I guess you could say I have half as much magic as her."

I opened my mouth to talk, but I could think of nothing to say. I just stood there, trying to figure out how to reply to the new information.

" I found one of the carvings Mya..." Soul stopped talking, my guess is because Jared was here. " What the hell are you doing here?" Yep, I guessed right.

" I should ask the same question," Jared replied.

I crossed my arms and snorted. I could feel the stares of both boys on me, causing me to blush.

" Sorry, but with the way everything is happening, I feel like I'm in a movie," I thought it over for a second. " But then again, I'm dealing with book characters. You guys are supposed to sound like you're going to fight no matter what."

Jared seemed to be amused since he laughed, but Soul stayed quiet. I could imagine him rolling his red eyes.

" But I'm curious too. Why are you here Jared? Shouldn't you be sitting all depressed in your room. I mean, you ran out of the room, and that would of made me feel like a coward."

This time, Soul laughed, " I couldn't agree more."

Jared was silent for a moment, " I was looking for Ash. I was gonna ask her what she was going to do to you."

I couldn't tell if he meant it in a good way, or an I don't care about you way. Either way, I just felt hurt.

" And if it was something bad, would you of stopped her?"

Someone sighed loudly before Jared spoke, " I don't know."

I nodded and held out my hand, " Jared? Can I see your hand for a moment."

He must of thought it was alright because soon, I was holding an unfamiliar hand. I concentrated for a moment until I felt the warm feeling I got when I used my powers. I didn't use a lot of it, just enough to sting his hand. I knew it worked when he quickly pulled away.

" What was that for?"

" I trusted you, but you gave up before even trying to help me," I stated. " Soul, let's go."

I felt Soul's familiar hand take mine and I was led away. I expected Jared to just walk off in the other direction, but soon, I felt someone grab my free hand. I tried pulling away, but they held tight.

" Soul?"

" Hmmm?" he must of turned to look at me because when I kept walking, I was jolted to a stop, both hands holding me back. " Are you stupid or what? Just leave us alone."

" No. I'll help you guys," Jared's voice held a smidge of fear as he stood up to Soul.

" How?" I asked, not turning around, I mean, I couldn't see so what's the point.

" I'll take you to your friends. The ones Ash took when she got you."

" We don't need your help," Soul replied.

" Mya Belle's blind, and you've never been here before. I think you do need my help."

" Mya knows where to go."

Jared didn't seem to listen since the hand he was holding pulled me forward. I followed, and Soul did too, but he wouldn't let go of my hand. Ugh, men and their egos.

" Here we are," Jared announced a few minutes later as I heard a door open.

I finally pulled away from both boys and rubbed my eyes, hoping my vision would just come back already. I was dissapointed as the fog still stayed.

" Take me to one of the beds," I ordered.

I was pushed from behind and led a few steps forward. My hands hit metal, which I figured was the end of a bed.

" Who's bed is this?" I asked once I'd made it to the head of the bed.

" Patty's" Soul said quietly.

I nodded and grabbed for her hand. It was cold in mine, but I held it anyway. I quickly tried to gather my power, but this time, I felt coldness travel through me, making Patty's hand feel warm. I didn't understand, but I concentrated on making the girl in front of me wake up with the cold that was held in me.

I soon felt Patty grip my hand with her's and then I felt her move. I let go and soon I could hear the bubbly girl talking to Soul. I smiled before gliding to the next bed, using the railings to lead me around.

Kendra's POV

" Why is Mya Belle taking so long? It's been over an hour," I groaned as I stared at the green flames above us.

" How should we know?" Alexiss replied, anger laced in her voice.

" I don't know. I just wanna get out of here."

" We all do."

" And why did the witch take Soul too?"

" Stop asking questions Kendra! I know you think Soul's hot and all, but don't be all jealous that he's with Mya Belle."

" What? I'm not jealous. I have a boyfriend if you've forgotten Alexiss. I just don't get why she'd take him if she only needed Mya."

" I haven't forgotten and I have no clue why she took him either."

" I'm bored," I complained as I held my knees to my chest, rocking back and forth, trying to make time go faster.

" Then go to sleep."

" Then I might miss something."

" You're impossibel Kendra."

I smiled, humored by how annoyed Alexiss was. I decided to keep quiet though since I didn't want her pressure pointing me. I tried to pass time by thinking about random facts, like what my boyfriend could be doing or how I would explain this to my parents when this was all over. I was thinking of the best possible ways when I was slapped.

" What? The. Fuck!" I yelled as I held my cheek and glared at Alexiss.

" Did you not hear Sid?" she asked, I just shook my head. " Well, he's thinking of the best possible way to kill the witch."

" There's only one possible way, to kill her as painful as possible for ruining our lives."

" That would be useless. Sure, she suffers, but if we kill her quickly, we have a better chance of success," Sid explained.

I raised an eyebrow, not understanding a word he said. I get that he wanted to kill the witch like me, but he wanted it to be quick. I wanted her to suffer. I mean, she kidnapped Mya Belle and almost all the Soul Eater characters, yet expected to get away with it. My anger grew, my nails digging into my palm, leaving cresant marks when I opened my hands.

" Fine, but shouldn't we at least plan to get out of here before thinking about that bitch. We don't have Mya Belle now. So why don't you figure that out. Shouldn't that be the kind of guy you are. You're the adult so figure this out," I yelled.

" Kendra! Just calm the fuck down," Alexiss grabbed my shoulder, probably knowing I would hurt someone soon if I became to stressed. " Yes we need Mya to get out, but I wish she was here to just calm you down. She at least calms you down when she goes into therapy mode."

I gave a small smile, knowing Alexiss was right. I took a deep breath and looked down at my shoes. I started pulling on the laces as my temper fell. I felt my face cool down, not even have realized it had gone red. I stood, not wanting to just sit around.

" I'm gonna walk around. Yell if you figure something out," and with that, I walked away.

Alexiss's POV

I sighed as I watched Kendra walking away. I knew she was pissed, but who wouldn't be. I mean, we were living our normal lives, well as normal as it gets for a bunch of weirdos, and then our lives change in a second just because of a stupid wish.

When I think about it, I feel as if we'll just wake up and realize that is was just a dream. For all I know, I'm the only one having the dream and Kendra and Mya Belle are drawing on my face. That at least made sense. Wishes like this weren't meant to come true. All the should've happened is that we had gone inside and to sleep and I would've woken up to Mya Belle cooking something. That was what had been planned, because that was how all of our sleepovers had been.

I stood and went to follow Kendra. I couldn't stay with the characters alone. It just seemed weird since I really knew nothing about them, even though I read all the books and watched all the episodes. I looked around for Kendra's blue hair and when I found it, she was a distance off, almost invisible. I ran, hoping I could catch up to her.

After a few minutes, I reached her. She was bent down, looking at the wall. I had thought this place was endless, but apparently not.

" What are you looking at?" I asked, causing Kendra to jump.

" Holy shit woman, don't do that to me!" Kendra held her hand over her heart, taking deep breaths as she calmed down.

" Sorry. Now what were you looking at?"

" Look at this," she pointed to a slight pink line in the flames. " Isn't that what color Mya's power stuff is?"

" I think. I'm not sure."

" Of course you're not. Well, if it is, this must be where she escaped from."

" Then try using it."

Kendra nodded and reached forward. The second her hands touched the wall, she shot back a few feet. I ran over and kneeled down next to her. Her hands were red, burned by the wall.

" Holy fucking shit. That stings like a motherfucker."

" Well it is fire," I pointed out.

Kendra glared at me, " Still. You'd think since Mya did it that I could too."

" But Mya Belle has powers now."

" True, but she's still human."

" Yeah, I guess."

" You know, I've been thinking. What if we run into that Mercy chick? If she tries to use her powers, can't she kill us?"

" Most likely, but I doubt Mya Belle would let that happen."

" What if it's before we find her? She can't bring us back from the dead."

" I don't know Kendra. Just believe that Mya will kill her before we even run into her."

" Yeah, you're right."

" Now. Why don't we try this again? This time I'll help," I held out my hand for her to take.

Kendra smiled and stood. We went to the pink line and grabbed a hold of it, neither getting burned. We pulled and it opened a bit. We kept pulling, but just as we were about to make it big enough for one of us, the fire wall snapped from our hands and back into place. We looked for the pink line again, but this time, it was gone.

" I really hate this place," Kendra admitted.

I couldn't agree more.

We walked back to everyone else and told them about it. Nygus suggested we walk around the prison, thinking that the opening may have just moved. We split up, Tsubaki having to literally drag Crona with her. We all walked around the wall, learning that the prison was shaped like a square. When we met up with the others, we learned out search was useless.

" How could it just dissapear?" I asked.

" Magic?" Tsubaki offered.

" But wouldn't that mean the witch knew it was there? She would've probably fixed it before we even got here, making sure it was impossible for us to escape. Why would she wait until we've found it?"

" She must've not known about it and when she sensed us opening it, she fixed it," Nygus explained.

I looked at the woman, hating how she knew everything. I know I acted like that, but still, this woman acted even worse. I wasn't expecting that since it was so different in the books.

" I officially hate that witch even more than I thought possible," Kendra said as she threw her arms in the air.

" Don't we all?" I asked.

" Wh-what about Rag-ragnarok?" Crona asked.

We all stared at him. Me mostly because I was surprised about how much he was talking. I thought about it though. Crona's mother was a witch, which meant he had to have at least a bit of magic. Plus, Ragnarok was a demon sword.

" That's a great idea!" Kendra voiced my thoughts exactly.

" Can you try it Crona?" Tsubaki asked quietly.

Crona seemed scared at first, but willingly went over to the wall. I watched as Ragnarok appeared and transformed. The second I saw the black sword, I grew nervous. In the books and all that, Crona had a tendency to go crazy when he was using Ragnarok and I had no idea if the characters had already done everything I've read or if they were in the middle of it, or had even gone through it.

I had been thinking so much, I hadn't noticed anything until Kendra was grabbing my arm and running.

" What the hell?" I asked as I tried to pull away.

" Woman, the fire crap grabbed Crona. Did you not see him just dissapear?" Kendra yelled once she slowed down in the middle of the prison.

" No! I was thinking."

" Stupid white girl."

" Hey, you're white too, and you're even a blonde."

" So? You need to stop acting smart and just act on instinct. You'll live longer."

" Actually, it's better to think because you could think of better ways to solve the problem."

" What if you had three seconds to decide life or death?"

" Then I'd use the three seconds wisely."

" I sorta hate you."

" Whatever. What do you think happened to Crona?"

" How should I know? He could be dead, or be free, or even be in another prison."

" Yeah, I guess. So what do we do now?"

" Now we do what you suggested earlier, we wait for Mya Belle."

" So now you listen to me?"

" Be grateful."

With that, we stopped talking, deciding that silence was a better outcome than a fight.

Mya Belle's POV

The last person I woke had to be Black Star since it wasn't even that loud until I knew I had woken the person up. I backed up as I heard everyone talk to each other, trying to make sense of what had happened. My back hit a wall and I stayed there, crossing my arms and trying to see if I could make sense of some of the conversations going on around me.

It wasn't until a few minutes later that someone talked to me, " You were great."

I jumped, not really knowing who had talked to me since it was a whisper. I quickly went back to leaning against the wall, taking a deep breath to calm my racing heart.

" Who is it?" I whispered, my voice quieter than it ever had been, even for when I whispered.

" Jared. Duh. I thought you could tell."

" People sound funny when they whisper so don't judge. If you had talked regurally, I would of been able to tell."

" Okay, sorry. Don't have to get all mean."

" I'm tired, so don't tell me what to do. Anyways, what do you want?"

" I just wanted to talk to you?"

" About?"

" I'm sorry. I shouldn't have run out on you and your friends. I let my fear take over. I know you must hate me."

I reached my hand out, " Give me your hand." I could feel him hesitate by just how long he was taking. " Don't worry scaredy boy."

I felt his hand as he placed it in mine and I held it in both my hands, now being able to tell where he was. I turned to stand in front of him and looked up at his face, well I hoped I was.

" I don't hate you. I bet I would've done the same thing. Actually, I probably would've told her off and then ran for my life."

Jared chuckled, " I can imagine that."

" Exactly. That's how I am. You're not me. I can't expect you to do everything like I want you to. I just have to accept that you aren't as brave as most boys."

" Now you're making me sound like a girl."

" I know," I smiled. " But if that's just how you act, girly."

" I do not."

" Okay, you act like a scaredy boy. Happy?"

" I guess," I could feel as he shrugged, his hand almost leaving mine.

" Good. Just know that I forgive you."

I was suddenly being hugged. I froze, my mind telling me that it was fake. I guess Jared realized his mistake because he immediately let go and went back to letting me hold his hand.

" Sorry."

I shook my head as I looked down, " It's okay. I know you think hugs are normal, but they aren't for me. I just feel like they mean that the person doesn't even care."

Jared let go of my hand and lifted my head, forcing me to look up at what I figured was his face, " I care about you Mya Belle. I mean, you're the first person to actually care for me."

" I know, but just know. I care about everyone, as long as I still think that there's good in them."

" So there's good in me?"

" Yep, otherwise I would never of even been your friend."

" Oh," he sounded dissapointed, which I didn't understand. " So I'm your friend now?"

" Yeah. I officially make you my friend," I giggled at how childish I sounded, but that was how I talked.

Jared didn't say anything, just stood there as I held his hand. When I realized that he probably wouldn't talk for awhile, I started tracing the lines in his hand with my finger. We stayed like that for a few minutes, everyone else talking around us as we stood in silence. Usually silence was awkward for me, but this time, it wasn't.

" What's she doing to that boy?" a voice I figured was Patty, since she ended with a short laugh, asked as I felt everyone's gaze turn to me.

" I'm bored. We're waiting for you guys to shut up and I got bored, so don't judge," I admitted matter of fact. " Besides, I can't see, so this is the next best thing, other than imagining what all of you look like with bed head."

" Why can't you see?" a girl voice asked.

" How should I know. A lot of weird things have been happening since I turned fifteen. For instance, book characters becoming real, turning into a witch, meeting a clone, and then being trapped in a fire prison. My vision isn't that a big of a deal. I was already almost blind, so this isn't that bad for me."

" So those glasses are real?" this time a boy spoke.

" Yeah. Soul should know, he tried them on."

" It's true. She's basically blind," Soul agreed.

" Let me try them on," the supposed Patty stated before I felt my glasses being pulled off. " Whoa. I'm spinning!"

The statement was followed by laughing and then a THUD! I knew she had fallen and then held out one of my hands, Jared's still restiing in the other.

" Someone please give me my glasses. I feel weird not wearing them," the only response I got was my glasses being placed in my hand. " Okay, now why don't we just get the hell out of this room and go get the others."

" Who else do we have to get?" the first girl who had talked asked.

" Um, I don't know. Everyone else who came with you and then Sid and that chick he's with."

" Sid's here?"

" Yes, now who the hell is talking? I hate not knowing?"

" Maka Albarn," the girl responded as if it should've been known.

" Don't give me attitude white girl. I'm just asking because I can't see."

" I thought you would've known though. I mean, we've met before."

" And that was what? Five days ago? I forget easily."

" It was actually four."

" And I don't even care."

" Okay. This is so not cool, so no more fighting!" Soul ordered. " Let's just go get them."

" How do we get out of here though?" I'm guessing it was Liz since she was the only other girl I hadn't heard besides Blair, and Blair had a shrill voice, that I could remember.

" Just follow me. I'm basically a god, so getting out of here should be easy for me. Come on," that didn't even make sense, even though it came from Black Star.

" Hold up!" I yelled. " Let's just follow Jared. He knows how to get through here, and I mean literally since he lives here."

" Then isn't he the enemy?" Maka asked.

" No! He helped us, sorta."

" I still think I would be better. I am basically a god," Black Star muttered as I was led out of the room.

I smiled at how he was acting so childish, just like how I usually acted. I listened to the others as they talked behind me and Jared, Soul answering questions that hadn't been asked in the room.

I stopped, the footsteps behind me following suit. I turned around.

" Okay, Soul and Maka, please come here," there was some shuffeling and then I held out my hands. Soul's familiar one was placed in one and then a much softer one was placed in the other. I couldn't help smiling to myself as I placed their hands with each other. " Just hurry up and become a couple. Maka, you obviously like him, or else you wouldn't be talking about him in your sleep and Soul, you care about her since you were brave enough to wake me up and ask about her. Okay, now let's go."

I felt Jared's hand grab mine again and start pulling me forward, " What was that for?" Jared whispered.

" Let's just say, since I won't ever find love, I try to make sure everyone else does. Are they all red or what?" I whispered back.

" As red as cherries," I giggled, imagining the two. " Why don't you think you'll find love?"

" Because I'm not deserving of it. I know that makes me seem all negative and all that, but that's just what I think."

Jared went silent, and that's how it was until we stopped almost an hour later. I expected that we were in the training room since there was a hallway that led outside. Maybe we would find Ash and finally just get this over with.

Jared's POV

' I won't ever find love. I'm not deserving of it."

I couldn't get Mya Belle's words out of my head. I didn't understand why she felt that way. She was so sweet and she helped me, even though I was helping Ash. I thought she deserved it.

" Jared?" I looked down at Mya Belle, her eyes glazed over, the only sign that she actually couldn't see.

" What?" I asked, my eyes looking at her features. Her curly, dark, brown hair was everywhere, covering one of her almost black eyes. She seemed almost scared as her eyebrows furowed, her cinnamon skin wrinkling on her forehead.

" Where are we?"

" The training room. I'm going to get you out of here."

" I can't go without Kendra and Alexiss. They tried to save me, now I need to save them."

I looked down at our hands, wanting to disagree, but I already knew that if I tried, she would agrue and than she'd hate me.

" Alright, but what about Ash?" I asked rubbing my thumb over her fingers.

" Does it look like I care about Ash? If I see her, I'll kill her. She doesn't have Mercy so she isn't that tough now."

" What happened to Mercy?"

" Um," Mya looked down at the ground. " Soul may have killed her when she tried killing me. You liked her didn't you? I mean, she may look like me, but she was all smart and not a scaredy person like me."

" I didn't like her. She was mean."

" Oh. Anyways, shall we go find my friends?"

" Sure, but are you sure. I don't think you should mess with Ash if you can't see."

" I don't care. I just want her gone. Besides, I'll be able to see her soul, remember?"

" Isn't that when you could actually see?"

" Whatever. I know I'm right. Oh, and FYI, you're soul is really awesome."

I gave a small smile and then concentrated on Mya Belle's thoughts. I knew it was wrong and usually stayed out, but I was to curious.

' I bet he's looking at me like I'm crazy of something. I wish I could fricken see. Either way, I don't care if he doesn't believen me. I have to get Kendra and Alexiss, even if I die. I mean, they might miss me, but that's it. They'll get over it anyway. I'm not that important in their lives.'

I pulled out of her mind and looked down at the short, childish girl in front of me. Her eyes had become watery and then a tear fell. My heart literally broke at the sight. I know I'm a guy, but I still hated when people I cared about were hurt. I didn't have many close people, but I knew Mya Belle was one of them, even though we only met a few days ago.

" Don't cry," I whispered, leading Mya Belle over to a corner as the others kept talking. I leaned against the stone wall and pulled her close, not caring if she didn't want the hug or not. I had to at least try and comfort her.

" I don't wanna. I just feel like this is my fault, with my friends and then all you guys. I made my world suffer just because of my childish hopes," she cried into my shirt, her arms wrapping around my waist slowly, as if unsure.

" Don't be a baby. It's not your fault."

" I get that you're trying to make me feel better, but still. I'm a crybaby. I'm just a spoiled little brat that gets on everyone's nerves."

" Stop talking like that Mya. You're nowhere near that. You're sweet and care about others, even if they don't deserve it. And don't even think about letting Ash kill you. I'll miss you if you're gone."

Mya Belle froze in my arms. Her sobs instantly stopping except for the occasional hiccup. I realized my mistake when she pulled away and stepped back.

" No you won't. You're just trying to make me feel better so you don't have to deal with me crying. I'm sorry I made you lie Jared. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to save my friends."

I watched her as she turned around and ran into a hallway, somehow not hitting the wall. I stayed there, then looked at the others. They were still talking, but then I caught sight of Soul. He was glaring at me, and then pointed where Mya Belle had gone. I sighed, looked down at the ground, then went after Mya Belle. I mean, I can't let her die, she meant to much to me.

" Mya Belle?" I yelled, not seeing her up ahead.

There was no response as I ran through the hallways. I skidded to a halt though when I saw Mya Belle curled up at the end of a side hallway. I almost missed her though, if it hadn't been for her eyes. They somehow glowed in the dark hallway.

" What are you doing?"

" Trying to stop crying. Now leave me alone."

I didn't listen as I went over to her and pulled her into a standing postion, " How did you even get here?"

" Luck I guess. I hit the wall once on my way here, but that was it," she admitted as her breathing stuttered.

" Come on. Let's go."

" No. I have to get Kendra and Alexiss."

" Then come on."

" No! They're here. I can feel them. Like they're on the other side of the wall or something."

" Then how do we get to them?"

" How should I know?" she crossed her arms and looked at me.

I chuckled before hugging her again. I felt her body go rigid, but I didn't care. She would just have to deal with the hug.

" You don't always have to know. Besides, I don't want to be friends with a know it all," I teased.

Mya Belle just laughed and then she hugged me back, " You're a good friend Jared."

For some reason, I hated how she called me a friend. I didn't get why, but it just hit a nerve when she said that. I erased it from my mind when Mya Belle let go, a smile lighting up her face.

" I'm surprised you didn't scream like a little girl."

" Why?" I asked confused.

" Because I finally hugged you back. Remember what I said?"

' The only real way to know is if I hug you. My only, ever exception is the people I care about.'

" Oh," I muttered. I smiled, but I didn't know what else to say.

" Just oh? Boy, you're getting boring."

" I am?"

" No, I was just kidding. You need to stop taking everything so seriously. Your soul looked sad for a second."

I laughed before leaning down to rest my forehead on hers, " I'm sorry. I was just thinking of something."

" Like what?"

" It's nothing."

" Tell me dude. I want to know."

" Don't be so nosy."

" Sorry. Curiosity got the better of me."

" It's okay," I admitted, looking down at the smile on her face before standing up straight. " Let's go get your friends."

" Okay."

I pulled her away from the wall she had been leaning on, turning her aroud to face it.

" Are you sure they're behind the wall?"

" Yeah."

" Then use your magic to get them out."

Mya Belle nodded before reaching out for the wall. Once her hands were placed flat against it, I watched as her face scrunched up in concentration. Pink light erupted from her hands and soaked into the wall, making it turn black.

" Keep trying Mya Belle," I whispered into her ear.

Kendra's POV

" I hate waiting," I complained as I played with one of my shoelaces.

" You really need to be more patient," Alexiss scolded.

" Well, we've been in here for hours."

" Still, just be patient."

" I would listen to her," Sid suggested.

" Shut up," I replied.

Alexiss just rolled her eyes as she stood, " Let's go for a walk Kendra. Maybe some exercise will calm you down."

" I am calm."

" Bullshit. Now get up."

I rolled my eyes before slowly standing and walking off with Alexiss.

" We better stay away from the walls though," I stated.

" We'll be fine, as long as we don't try and open it."

" Whatever. So what do you wanna talk about?"

" I never said we had to talk, but I wanna ask you a question. Why didn't you believe in Mya Belle?"

" I don't know. I guess because she always looks at us for help, not the other way around."

" That doesn't mean she can't help."

" I know, but think about it. With her ADHD, she can't concentrate that easily."

" She can still do great stuff."

" I guess," I looked down at the ground.

" Yeah, now when we see her, what do you think she'll do?"

" Hug us to death and when she lets go, we'll probably scold her for hurting us and then she'll just poke us."

Alexiss laughed, " Her pokes are almost as bad as my pressure points."

" No shit Sherlock."

" Hey! No need for the sarcasm."

" You've barely realized I'm sarcastic now? Mya's known it since we became friends."

" I've known about you being sarcastic, but I don't have Mya here to yell at you for it."

Alexiss's POV

" So I guess now would be a great time?" Kendra and I froze at the voice we both knew.

I turned around and saw Mya Belle standing there, a sad smile on her face. Kendra was the first to move, running to her and hugging her.

" Whoa! Don't make me fall Kendra. I never thought you'd be so happy to see me."

" Oh shut up."

Mya Belle just laughed before pulling away, " So who else is here?"

" Can't you see them? They're right over there," I pointed to the small group.

" Actually, I can't see anything. All I see is fog."

" What happened?"

" I don't know, it was just before Soul killed Mercy. Anyways, come on. We have to leave before Ash notices."

" Why? Shouldn't we just kill the bitch?" Kendra asked.

" Trust me, I would love to, but with my current situation, I don't think that's the best plan. Well, you guys can try, but I can't help you. Well, I can lead you to her, but that's it."

" How do you know where she is?"

" I can see her soul."

" Than can't you use that as your sight and use your magic?"

" Kendra, I used almost all my magic to freaking open this prison. I need to rest before I use it again. That's why I suggested we wait."

" Then let's at least get out of here!" Kendra ran off to get the others.

" I'm glad you're okay," I said as I followed Mya Belle to an opening. When I looked inside, I saw nothing but darkness. " How are we gonna get through that?"

" Why?"

" It's pitch black in there."

" Oh. I didn't know. I just followed Tsubaki's soul. Well, I guess you can just follow me. I'm gonna follow Jared and Crona's to get out."

" You found Crona?"

" Yeah. He was right at the entrance and was all curled up. I had to get Jared to help me get him out."

" Who's Jared?" I questioned.

" He's the boy I told you about. You know, the one that ran out on us. He helped Soul and I. It took some thinking, but I forgave him."

" So are you two together?"

" Whoa! Wait. What? Of course not. You know I'll never get a boyfriend. I'm not meant to have a relationship."

Mya Belle looked at me, as if I should've already known that. I mean, I knew she thought that, but that wasn't right. Mya Belle should've had a boyfriend a long time ago, but all the boys were too stupid to see that she would be an awesome person to be in a relationship with. I get that her family made her think she was worthless, but still. Any girl would wish to have a boyfriend, not matter how much they think they don't deserve it.

" I see, well, I hope Jared is as nice as you think he is."

" I guess he is. His soul makes him seem like he is. He's gonna be a great friend. Maybe you'll end up with him, or maybe he'll steal Kendra away from her boyfriend."

We both laughed at imagining someone taking Kendra away from her boyfriend. It was hard since they'd been together so long.

" Can we go now?" Kendra asked a minute later with everyone behind her.

" Sure. You might have to hold hands since you won't be able to see," Mya Belle explained as she held out her hand.

" Then how can you see?" Tsubaki asked.

" I can see your souls. Crona is already on the other side so I can just follow his. I mean, I followed yours to get here."

With that, we were led through the blackness. Sometimes I would hear Kendra curse as she tripped, almost pulling me down with her.

" We're almost there. Just a few more steps," Mya Belle offered after a few minutes.

I was grateful the second we appeared in a hallway. Mya Belle was ripped away from me and into the arms of a black eyed boy who towered over me and Mya Belle.

" Dude! You're gonna kill me. I get that you were worried, but still," Mya Belle cried as she pulled away smiling.

From the look on the boy's face, I couldn't help thinking about how he must be in love with my childish best friend. I wonder if she knew or if she even felt the same. She had to of thought about it. It was almost obvious he cared for her.

Jared smiled at me and gave a small nod, " You have no idea how much."

I had a feeling that was an answer for both me and Mya Belle and I couldn't help but smile. I hid it behind my hand as I saw Mya Belle roll her eyes and cross her arms, a grin gracing her lips. I studied her for a second, but I didn't see the same admiration that shone in Jared's eyes. Her eyes held something close to his, but it wasn't even close to being the same, but maybe it was because her eyes were messed up.

" Why though? You knew I would be back," Mya Belle looked up at the boy I now realized was Jared.

" You took a really long time. I thought you got lost or something."

" I didn't. Besides, your soul's way to flashy to miss, but it really suits you well."

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" There souls look like what the character's souls look like. You know how they're personalized. They aren't like the simple one's you see when someone dies. Like yours, it has flames for eyes and yet, it looks all shy like. Kendra's has sharp teeth and it looks like it's wearing a hat."

" So what does mine look like?" Jared smirked, probably thinking it was something cool.

" Yours has like these weird bang thing. Like how Tsubaki's has a ponytail for the top. You have one that goes over your soul's face and your soul is barely even smiling. It's sorta sad that you aren't smiling. I guess your past has permenantly damaged your soul."

Mya Belle placed a hand on Jared's cheek, lifting his face up. His eyes moving from the ground to her. He smiled and hugged her agian. Usually I thought romantic crap was gross for me, but this was just adorable.

" I think that's enough hugging. You two are making me sick," Kendra shouted, pushing me forward as she and the rest came into the hallway.

" Kendra! At least they haven't done as much as you and your boyfriend have," I scolded as Kendra blushed.

" Shut up. No one needs to know that."

" And I bet no one wants to," Mya Belle teased as she let her hand be taken by Jared's. " So are we gonna wait or do you wanna kill the witch now?"

" How 'bout now!"

" Then let's go get the others," Mya Belle ordered as Jared pulled her down the hallway.

We had almost forgotten Crona, not noticing him until Ragnarok popped out and yelled as us for someone to get the pink haired boy up. In the end, Sid was forced to carry the still curled up Crona.

The second we entered a giant room, Black Star was yelling.

" Tsubaki!" we all had to cover our ears, well Kendra, Mya Belle, and I did. Black Star stood and ran over to his weapon, tackling her with a hug. It looked weird since he only came to her chin, and that's why it looked weird. His face was literally resting on her boobs.

" Um, yeah. I missed you Black Star," she soothed as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Black Star pulled back and flexed, making me roll my eyes, " Who wouldn't miss me? Everyone would miss their god. Am I right?"

" No, you're not," I corrected. " People should miss you becuase you're you, not because you're a god."

" So you admit I'm a god?"

I literally face palmed. I didn't think he'd take it that way.

" Did he literally just own you," Mya Belle laughed.

" I'm just as surprised as you," I muttered.

Mya Belle just continued to laugh as the rest of the characters walked over and spoke. Her laughing stopped and she looked annoyed.

" What's wrong?" Jared asked.

" I'm sick of hearing all this talking. I wish I could see what's going on. Why couldn't it of been my hearing?"

" Then you wouldn't be able to hear us. If you can see our souls, than you basically can see. So stop complaining," I said.

" Fine. Glob. Don't have to be so mean white girl."

" She's not being mean. She's just making a point," Jared corrected as he held Mya Belle's hand.

" So now you're turning against me?!"

Jared immediately panicked and quickly pulled Mya Belle away, out of sight.

" Are they together or is he just being a little too friendly to her?" Kendra asked as she came to stand next to me.

" A little too friendly is what I think. One of them's gonna end up crying in the end though," I replied.

" I bet it's the dude. Mya Belle may be all romantic and crap, but she makes sure she doesn't fall in love, no matter how much she wants to."

" I couldn't agree more, but what if they both break?"

" Than we're gonna have to make sure she doesn't end up with him."

" Now that's probably impossible. Do you see how he's acting? He won't even leave her side."

" Unless we keep her away."

" That could hurt Mya Belle though."

" But it will hurt more if she starts growing feelings for him."

I thought about it and nodded, " You're right."

" Than let's go get her."

We walked off towards where the two had gone. It was a short hallway, with two halls branching off. We stopped and looked down each of the hallways.

" So what now?" Kendra asked.

" Let's take that one," I pointed down the darker hallway. " I'm gonna take a guess and say that Jared wanted a whole lot more privacy."

Kendra just shrugged before we ran down the hallway. I almost missed it, but when I heard it again, I heard Mya Belle's sobs.

" Whoa," I whispered as I pulled Kendra to a stop. " There."

We were standing in front of another hallway, this one only a few feet deep. We would've missed it if I hadn't heard Mya Belle. I could see the outline of Mya Belle and Jared, him holding her hands with his as she leaned against the wall behind her.

" I'm sorry Jared. I know I'm just being a crybaby and all, but still, I wasn't expecting that. I guess I'm just surprised," Mya Belle cried, her voice echoing down the halls.

" What's going on here?" Kendra yelled, causing both people at the end of the hall to jump.

" Um, nothing. Sorry," Mya Belle wiped away her tears and a smile easily replaced her frown. " You guys are probably just dying to kick Ash's butt. Jared was just telling me something."

" Well then cut the chit chat and come on. Everyone's probably gone by now."

" Yeah right. I doubt they'd miss any action."

" Who knows. Let's go find out."

Mya Belle nodded and walked away from Jared. I was surprised when she easily made it back to the room where everyone else was without hitting the walls. I matched her step as I leaned in.

" What happened with Jared?" I whispered.

" Let's just say, he surprised me, and trust me, I liked the surprise," her face immediately started to grow a dark pink.

" So he kissed you or what?"

" Maybe," Mya Belle giggled before walking away.

I rolled my eyes before pulling Kendra away from Jared, " So what did he say?"

" He said that he showed Mya Belle his feelings."

" Mya Belle told me that he kissed her."

" Shut the fuck up! I have a hard time believing that Mya Belle would allow anyone to do that."

" She probably didn't see it coming."

" I guess."

" Hey guys!" our attention was drawn to Mya Belle, Jared standing next to her, her hand in his again. " Come on. I can sense Ash's soul so let's just get this over with."

I honestly couldn't agree more.

Chapter done. I feel like it's a disaster since it's filled with way more romance than I'm used to. Glob, I feel like it's too mushy. Anyway, another reason I didn't update was since no one reviewed. I had it to where I wouldn't update until I got 8 reviews. It was the 8th chapter and I wanted to do something Kid themed. Oh well. I can't promise when I'll next update, but hopefully it's this month.
