It was all too much to take in, an unknown length of time had passed since Honeycutt rescued them from a fast fading earth. Donatello looked out the window of the space ship, at one point in time he would have been excited to see all the stars surrounding them. But not right now... not after what just happened... they were alone again... just the six of them...

Donnie could not believe it happened, he as well as his brothers witnessed Shredder ram his gauntlets thru Splinter's back... it still bothered him that their father and Sensei was gone.

A tear escaped his eye as he thought about their father, he jumped when a hand came to rest on his shoulder. Looking up into the blue eyes of his eldest brother he said softly, his voice cracking with emotion.

"He's really gone this time isn't he?"

Leo nodded his head slowly and stared out the window with a haunted look in his blue eyes. "Yea... He is Donnie... Earth has been destroyed..."

The two brothers shared in each others company for several moments before Leo said softly. "Donnie, I don't think there are words to describe how any of us feel right now. I want to say this is all my fault... but, all I can think about is what Shredder did. I also think that maybe if I had chosen Splinter's plan from the start we would still be on Earth and he would be with us..."

Donnie looked over at their remaining two brothers who where sleeping and said. "But what about Mikey? We would have lost him..."

Leo looked over at their baby brother and said. "You do realize that he almost escaped before we got there? He knew how to get out, but the Triceratons would not allow him to move. Not yet any way... He told me as much. We will figure something out Donnie, but for now we have to stick together if not then all really is lost."

Donnie looked over at Casey who was laying on a cot by the far wall and saw the bandage that was wrapped around the teens arm and said. "What about Casey and April? They lost their families too..."

Leo knew it was a long shot but he told him. "Like us, they will be fine in time. A really long time... this is all so hard to grasp right now. Loosing Splinter again, loosing our home again, on top of every thing else we lost our planet. Maybe something positive will happen for us in the near future but who knows."

Both brothers watched all the stars pass by them, it seemed as tho it was an endless stream of stars that flew past them. They had no idea what adventures lied ahead. They just knew one thing for certain; that no matter what they had to stick together...

A/N: Sorry this is so short. And even more sorry about the lack of updates. I have had a severe case of writers block. But for what ever reason ideas for other stories keep popping up in my head. Do not worry tho I do not plan on abandoning my stories. It just may be a while before I update them.
