"Well… That's a rather strange thing to ask." Anthony replied to Foxy's dismay.
"Oh you know… I was just asking to know a bit more about you." She replied awkwardly, trying not to draw attention to how embarrassed she was for asking.
"Yeah I haven't had a relationship in a while but I don't mind. Anyway, tell me a bit more about you and everyone. How have you all been these years?" He answered, changing the topic of the conversation, much to Foxy's relief.
"Where to start…" She said as she started to gather memories of how much the restaurant had changed.
"Well for starters, ever since my little accident, you know, the bite. I wasn't allowed for the longest time to ever perform or be around the kids." She said as she faced away for a brief moment.
"Sometimes I wonder why they even kept me around" She whispered, Anthony just barely hearing her.
"Hey don't feel sad." He comforted, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Your back on you stage performing again."
She quickly turned to face him. "Am I though?" She replied.
"Because if you ask me… Well… Let's just say that I should have been locked away that day…" She said moving away from Anthony.
"Come on, Foxy. Don't think like that." He jolted to her side but she just kept turning away from him. "I know the real you and I'm sure if you just proved to everyone that you're not… No. That you never were this monster that they all build you up to be than I'm sure everyone will love you again!" He told Foxy, who was just staring at the ground.
There was no response from her.
"Foxy?"
"I… I guess you have a point." She finally spoke up as she looked up at Anthony.
"You have my promise, Foxy." He said as he grabbed one of her hands. "I'll do everything I can to make sure the public forgets what happened and prove that you aren't a monster."
"…Do you really promise?" She hesitated at the idea but if she could trust anyone she thought, who better than someone who trusts her.
"I promise." He replied.
Foxy was moved at the idea and could do nothing more than hug him, thankfully Anthony didn't mind and returned the kind gesture.
"Wait a second." Foxy said as she backed away from Anthony.
"What is it?" He asked.
"I got something I want to give you." She answered. "Wait right here, I'll be right back." She said as she left the stage, leaving Anthony alone.
"I sure hope you know what you got yourself into." Anthony quickly turned around as he heard a deep voice behind him.
"Freddy? Wha- How long have you been here?" Anthony asked as he was startled by his menacing presence.
"Long enough." He said. "Do you really have the guts to make such a grandiose promise?"
"W-well I know Foxy so I'm confident about this." He stuttered.
"Yes but how well do you know her?" Freddy asked as he got closer to Anthony.
"What do you mean?" Anthony tried not to sound scared.
"When was the last time you were here? What makes you think you can just come in here and make such a statement, huh?" Freddy questioned.
"Look you're right. I don't know her and I'm not one to be making such a bold statement on how I'll suddenly change everybody's feelings towards her, but…" Anthony replied.
"But what?" Freddy said in a skeptical tone.
"But god damn will I do my best." Anthony stated, surprising Freddy. "And I won't stop there. Look I know about this place more than you think, Freddy. I'm not only promising Foxy that I'll change the perception the public has on her but I'm sure that if I do…" He paused for a second.
"Then what?" Freddy asked.
"Then this place will be the most lively it's ever been in recent history." Anthony said with a determined look in his eyes.
Freddy didn't know what to respond, he was taken back by the guards words. He genuinely sounded like he cared about this place and mostly about them.
"…I'll trust you… But be warned." He said leaning in close. "Dare to disappoint her… and you won't be leaving this place alive…" He stated, his eyes going completely black for a second.
"Understood." Anthony replied, trying not to give away that fact that he was scared of Freddy.
Not long after Freddy left Foxy returned with both her hands behind her back.
"Close your eyes." She told Anthony, who happily obeyed. She then proceeded to place an eyepatch over one of his eyes. "Okay now open them."
"An eyepatch?" Anthony said as he turned around to look at Foxy, who had a big smile on her face.
"Yeah but it's a special one." She said she pulled out a camera. "It's the same one from the picture." She said as she showed it to Anthony again.
"Wow. You've kept for this long?" He said as her stared at the picture. When he looked up, he saw Foxy with a big smile on her face and a camera in between her hands. "Oh. I see." He said as he walked over to her.
"I just thought it'd be neat to recreate the photo." She explained as she prepared the camera.
They both proceeded to pose the same way they were in the first photo and once they were both ready Foxy snapped the picture. They both eagerly waited for the photo to develop.
"Hey we posed perfectly." Anthony remarked. Foxy was silent as she stared deeply at the picture. "You okay, Foxy?"
"It's just…" She said, her voice cracking. She turned to face Anthony. "I thought I'd never see you again." She said as she began to weep softly.
"Come on now. It's okay." He said as he wrapped his arms around her. "I know that the last time I was here I told you I'd be back but I didn't know it would take so long."
"I missed you so much…" She whispered.
"And I missed you but luckily I'm back now and I'm going to make sure you get all the love you deserve Foxy." He comforted her as much as he could. Anthony now realized what Freddy was talking about and he had to make sure that he took care of Foxy otherwise it would mean dire consequences for both of them.
"Can we take another picture?" Anthony asked.
"What for?" Foxy asked as she began to calm down again.
"I want one to hang in my house." He explained.
"Sure, that sounds nice." She said, smiling at him.
After they took the second picture, Anthony made sure to put it away safely so he wouldn't bend it or damage it. It was almost time for him to head home but not before Foxy could ask him one last favor.
"Can I ask you something?" Foxy asked hesitantly.
"Sure, what is it?" Anthony replied.
"Can you bring with you these ingredients tonight?" She said as she handed him a list.
"What are they for?" He asked as he took a quick look at it.
"It's a just a little something I want to do." She said. "Also don't pack launch tonight." She said, smiling at him.
"Alright… No problem I'll pick these up before I come in tonight." Anthony said as they said their goodbyes to each other.
Once Anthony arrived home he looked for a picture frame to put his picture in and once he was done he proceeded to place it on his night stand beside his bed where he was sure to remember his friend no matter what.
Author's Note: Hello everyone! I guess I owe you all an apology for my hiatus as well as an explanation.
Starting off with the personal issues, I decided to change my career at the beginning of the year due to even more personal issues so I was busy with that and the depression that ensues after you drop out or suddenly realize you're studying something you don't want then I had some pretty heavy issued concerning my family about my school issues so I was having some difficult time getting my life together and I made the stupid decision of not continuing to write which is my only way of calming down, a sort of therapy so to speak.
Now for the story issues. Since I started writing the story, both FNAF 3 and 4 came out and introduced more lore into the whole scene (Not that I was sticking to the lore that much in the first place) it caused more problems than I thought and also I sort of didn't know exactly where this story was going but after months and months of thinking I finally have a direction in which to take this story so please bare this in mind if some things from now on contradict things previously written in the chapters before this.
That's pretty much it so I hope you guys enjoy the story!
