"Come on, let's go. We might as well get this over with," Derek stated as he walked towards the house.

Clay, Elena, Jeremy and Tori were already there. As soon as we all sat down, Jeremy started talking.

"I spoke to the rest of the council today-" Jeremy started, but Simon interrupted.

"What council?"

For the next few minutes, we were told about the Supernatural Council. Oddly enough, it was a council of supernaturals. There were representative from all the major "races": necros, werewolves, vampires, witches, sorcerers and half-demons. They got together to discuss problems facing the supernatural community and sometimes even policed it. Or outsourced people to police it. Jeremy, Elena and Jaime were all on the council, which made it easy for us to get the rest of the council on our side.

"They want all four of you to tell your story tomorrow at our meeting. Would that be ok? That way, we can get the ball rolling on bringing down the Edison Group. We've dealt with people like them before, so believe it or not, we are actually prepared to handle it." Jeremy stated.

We all agreed whole-heartedly, and Jeremy stood up to dismiss us when Derek spoke up.

"What about my dad? Has anyone heard from him?"

Jeremy and Elena looked at each other, but it was Clay who spoke up.

"We haven't found out anything concrete... Yet." He answered.

"But you're still looking, right?" Simon asked.

"Of course we are," This time it was Elena who spoke. "We are chasing down leads, and I'm waiting to hear from some of our contacts. We are doing everything we can to find your dad. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of info to go on."

At that moment the front door opened. All the wolved turned towards the sound of footsteps, amd then relaxed. A moment later, Jamie walked in. Jeremy quickly filled her in on what we had been talking about.

"Well, I have some news on that front," she said. She turned to where Derek and Simon were standing.

"Your dad isn't dead."
