We get to Kings Cross Station and on platform 9 3/4 the Hogwarts train is already waiting for young students to board. We walk up as a family to the side of the train and see Draco with his wife and son, Scorpio off to the side a bit. Me and Draco smile at each other then turn our attention back to our families. All of a sudden Albus stops to tie his shoe. I motion for Ginny to go on ahead send I start a conversation wit my son. "What if I'm put in Slytherin," asks Albus. I proceed to tell him how he was named after two headmasters and that one was a Gryffindor and that the other was a Slytherin. "But what if I do," he says. "Then Slytherin will gain a wonderful young wizard, but if you care that much the sorting hat takes in account what you want," I reply. "Really," he asks. "Really," I reply. I had never told anyone about my talk with the sorting hat my first year at Hogwarts, but I was glad that I told Albus,he needs to be proud of whatever house he is put into. We get up and rejoin the group. Hugo and Lily start to complain like they always do about not being able to go to school yet. Ginny and Hermione start tearing up and Ron has the biggest grin on his face, the smile that a father gets when his first child is sent to Hogwarts. I got the same smile when Teddy went then again when James boarded the train for the first time. I have that same smile today the day Albus joins his brothers. Albus, James, Teddy, and Rose hugs us all then get on the train. That's when the tears start falling for not Ginny and Hermione. We stand next to the train and wave at the kids until the train is know where I. sight then we peel ourselves away and return to our cars to go home.
We get home that night and Ginny has already started a letter to Albus, James, and Teddy. I just roll my eyes at her. Ginny has been very emotional since the kids boarded the train so I decide to try and lighten the mood a bit. We are sitting in bed and Ginny is elegantly writing in cursive across the page and I start to kiss her neck. "Harry," she says sternly, "I have to finish these letters for the boys." "You can send them later," I say and I fill the gap between ourlips. "No,no I have to get them done," she gasps out. I kiss her once more passionantly then her arms where around my neck and the letters on the floor. She gave in. I always love it when I win. I break away from the kiss and the look on her face shows that she wasn't ready for it to be over.
Ron and Hermione's POV (thought I'd show how they feel let me know what you think) I I drive home and all the way back Hermione is crying because Rose is off to her first year at Hogwarts. Hugo thinks he is going to be living it up since he is currently the only child. I grab Hermione's hand while I drive down the road. We get to the house and Hugo goes straight to his room, leaving me and Hermione by ourselves in the den. "Hermione darling," I begin as I bear hug her, " She will be alright, we know all the teachers, she has James, and Teddy, and Albus, she is in good hands." "I know I just miss her, I might write a letter later, oh goodness she will be sorted tonight, I wonder what house she will get!" "She will be great in any house she is placed, after all she is the daughter of a brilliant mind and of coarse me," I say. Hermione laughs then lightly shoves me. "Ronald," she starts, "When will we tell everyone especially thekids , they should know." "They will know in time dear," I reply.
